A proper introduction into the world of Alzarin.
Alzarin.
That is the name of a kingdom that has prospered long over the many years. A kingdom that's been known as the one that's been "touched by God". It's people live in harmony, the lands tilled for farming, the commonplace bustling with business. The royal capital houses the royal families, and its ruling king and queen as to be expected. It's just like any other kingdom, though it has a twist to its people.
A significant portion of the kingdom's populace are "Star Dolls". That is to say, they look like children's toys. Big heads and bodies, taller than the average man. Completely made of stuffing or cotton on the inside and skin made of string. They're the very definition of a stuffed animal toy. And yet they're considered a people in the kingdom of Alzarin. They walk and talk like any child of man does. And despite having bodies without muscle, they retain strength to lift and carry and strike things. They can hear music and sounds, feel the sense of touch, they can even so much as smell the delicious food people cook. And yet the most surprising is that they can eat! Though no one has a slight idea as to how or why. They just can.
To see such a diverse populace makes one wonder how it came to be. Though to understand the present, one must look into the past of Alzarin. When it was just like any other kingdom, fearing anything that didn't coincide with their religious teachings. But there is one day that started it all, the day when the kingdom was graced with a gift from the stars.
