Piece'ful...
Usually now, my normal is fatigued, feeling truly tired
It's been a long while since I've felt wired
Awake enough to go out & do so much like youth would allow
My physical reflection doesn't match my mind now
Every breath is still amazing to enjoy
I just miss the energy I had when I was a foolish boy
It's not easy, it's never fair
But, I know so many, who still try, who still care
For that, I'll always be grateful, of that I'm certain
So, for now, I patiently wait, ready at the curtain
I only hope the play is still to be shown
The stories to be shared, the scripts to be known
