One Last Battle
How Fangs heart turned back to normal was a mystery but one thing wasn't. Ever since his transformation he was back on assignments with the freedom fighters and Starfox, surprisingly that's just what his wife and child wanted since it looked like he was getting out of shape and it had been a while since Tamati had a partner.
The boys were sent to take care of an enemy base that had been causing trouble for some of the freedom fighters, Amy and Tails were among the groups that had been sent to the hospital with a few broken limbs, apparently Eggman built a new weapon that even Sonic couldn't beat so it was up to Fang and Tamati to handle this.
The boys were just outside the range of the base where the weapon was located scoping out the place as Fang munched on a power bar he was sharing with Tamati before they prepared themselves.
"So does Eggman know we're here?"
"No doubt but don't worry....I've figured out how to go into my super form without losing it but once I transform back to normal i'll be too tired to even stand.
"Well just so you know I have a little super form of my own, should the time come i'll show it to ya."
"Well then what're we waiting for? LET'S GO!!!"
Fang dashed off in a flash as the cannons rang out firing at him leaving Tamati to move through the smoke unseen blasting at the swatbots that were on the field while in the enemy city of Megaopolis. Eggman could see everything.
"I don't get it. Why would the princess send Fang and that nine tailed freak to attack one of my bases alone? even with his power Fang is surely to get destroyed and all that Tamati can do is make clones of himself and shoot lightning."
Meanwhile Fang and Tamati had blasted their way through the bases south wall after destroying the defense weapons and dodging the swatbot squadrons leaving them to place charges all around the base until Tamati spotted several tanks headed their way followed by another squadron closing in on them.
"You handle the swatbots! I got the tanks!"
"How are you gonna handle those things?"

Tamatis veins suddenly began to bulge everywhere and his eyes began to turn completely white until in one blood curdling roar his muscles suddenly bulged to the size of a champion body builder, even his tails and hair got a little shorter as he gave a toothy grin to his partnter who looked at him with shock.
"Geeze! Tamati you're HUGE!!"
"HAH! that's what Ammy said last night!"
With a single jump Tamati landed right on top of one of the tanks and began ripping them apart leaving Fang with the swatbots until a large shadow darkened the area and as Fang looked up he found himself staring at the weapon they were looking for with Eggman as the pilot.
"Say hello to my newest creation! The Egg-Titan!!"
"Seriously does every robot you make have to start with "Egg"?"
"Very funny Fang! but you won't be laughing after my machine tears you apart!!"
"We'll see about that doctor-GAAA!!!!"
In a flash of red light Fang morphed into his super form and struck the first blow landing a punch right in the egg-titans chest as Tamati ambushed it from below, tackling it from the side as it fell to the ground with a loud boom.
"Grrr! you'll pay for that one!! ENGAGE ALL WEAPONS!! FIRE AT WILL!!!!"
"GET CLEAR!!!"
A series of laser fire and missles began to explode everywhere, catching the two off guard and as the smoke cleared Fang spotted Tamati laying on a rock with a broken arm and leg.
"Hey!! you alright buddy?"
"Fine but it looks like you're gonna have to take him on by yourself.-WATCH OUT!!"
The egg-titan suddenly kicked Fang away like a pebble into a lake except he was slammed into a tree, as he rose to his feet Fang stared at the giant machine filling with rage until he saw it charging a giant energy cannon as Eggman smirked in the pilot seat.
"Smile while you can Eggman! cause you and your plans of world domination are about to go up in smoke!! LITERALLY!!! GRRRRR!!"
Fang began to gather all of his energy into his right arm as the egg-titans cannon finished charging, as Eggman targeted Fang preparing to fire.
"FIRE ENERGY CANNON!!!"
"BRING IT ON!!! Chaos....DESTRUCTIOOOON!!!!"
In a burst of red lightning Fangs attack easily broke through an shattered the egg-titan to scrap, leaving Eggman crippled and weakened as several ships plus the starfo arwings began to land around the wreckage as they retrieved the dictator in handcuffs.
After so many long years of war Fang had at last settled down with his family and was now ruling Mobius. His friends would still stop by for a visit and their kids were now out on their own as new couples and from time to time Fang would stare at his now aged sword mounted above the fireplace to remind him of his adventures and the friends he made.
