The next morning, the pair stirred slowly. Classes didn't start till the following week, so this week was mostly for getting books and find out where classes were.. Catherine woke and stretched, finding she'd kicked off her blankets and shorts in the middle of the night. She flushed since that left her in blue panties and matching colored tank, but the barrier was closed still. She started to reach for her shorts, then paused and chuckled weakly, flushing but leaving them tangled with her blankets. She rolled over and pulled the partition back, slowly, wondering if Rachel was up or not. She peeked out, and saw that the other bed was thrown open and the other desk empty. She blinked a bit, but shrugged and got up, not bothering to get dressed or grab her robe, guessing that Rachel was in the bathroom. Cathrine walked over to her dresser and pulled one of her lower drawers out, searching for her swim suit.

Rachel stepped out of the bathroom a moment later, tucking her short hair back behind one ear, then freezing solid at the sight she was welcomed into the room with. Cathrine's rump, barely covered with comfortable looking blue panties, both her tail and rear swaying a little as the hybrid looked though one of her lower drawers. Rachel bit her lip hard, not wanting to startle the girl, but couldn't help herself but to stand there starting at that ass. "Does she even realise she's being a tease? Or is she doing this on purpose... Goddess she has a hot body" Rachel clutched at her robe a bit, really really wanting to reach for that ass and run her hand over it, but she didn't want to scare Cathrine back into being a shy thing. "Course I could do with more then just touching..." Rachel shook her head to get out of her thoughts, and pulled back into the bathroom, waiting a moment.

Cathrine stood triumphantly, clutching her specially tailored swim suit and goggles, turning right as Rachel came out of the bathroom. Cathrine flushed a little but smiled to her roommate shyly, getting a grin from the older woman. Rachel looked the smaller girl over rather casually, then grinned toothily, "Now that's a good sight to be welcomed by in the morning" Cathrine flushed deeply and curled her tail against the back of her legs, dropping her gaze and folding her ears back shyly. Rachel smirked and moved closer, standing over the younger female a moment before reaching up and gently cupping the shorter girl's chin, gently tugging Cathrine's face up. Cathrine blushed harder but let the older woman lift her chin, keeping her gaze down until her head was tilted back far enough and her eyes flicked up to meet Rachel's.

The taller woman smiled softly to her then leaned over and kissed Cathrine's nose softly, letting her lips linger a moment. Cathrine felt herself flush but closed her eyes and leaned into the kiss ever so slightly, giving the softest of purrs. Cathrine blushed harder when she heard a husky chuckle, and Rachel's fingers started to slide down the younger girl's neck. Sapphire blue eyes flew open, looking up at Rachel slightly wide eyed, breathing though her nose firmly enough she knew her nostrils were flaring slightly. Rachel smiled gently and mm'd, letting her fingers and gaze trail down further, resting right at the base of Cathrine's neck, where Rachel could feel her heart beating though the skin there.

To Cathrine it seemed like forever that Rachel left her fingers there, when in reality it was only a few moments. The ursine suddenly grinned, leaning forward to kiss Cathrine's nose again, before she whispered softly, "Goddess, you're beautiful." Cathrine flushed heavily but didn't pull away, still staring enraptured up at the taller female. Rachel pulled back, looking like she was going to say something, before stating simply, "Go on then, get dressed, we'll hit up breakfast, finish your tour then head for the pool, I did promise you'd get to swim all day if you wanted." Cathrine mutely nodded as Rachel stepped to the side and hunted for her own clothing, the hybrid turned back towards her bed and quickly changed half behind the folded partition, trying to calm down her pounding heart.

After brunch (Pancakes and bowls of fruit), Rachel finished Cathrine's tour, showing the smaller girl the rest of the campus. The whole place was rather secluded, and Cathrine got the feeling of being on an island in the middle of the ocean, but instead of water, they were surrounded by trees. There weren't many students around this early in the morning, most the ones that were around were freshmen trying to figure out where their classes would be, and older students that worked for the professors, or that were showing around the younger students. After the rest of the tour, Rachel led the way back to the gym, grinning a bit as Cathrine started to get bouncier and bouncier as they moved. Rachel chuckled and said in a teasing tone, "Do I have to put a leash on you to get you to stop bouncing?"

Cathrine nearly tripped over her own feet, utterly red in the face, she stuttered something under her breath, red from her nose to the tips of her ears. Rachel grinned and continued to lead the way, innocently shifting her large bag onto her back. Cathrine followed, breathing hard, staring at the back of Rachel's head in silent shock, "Maybe she wouldn't mind after all..." Cathrine's shock was broken however as they entered the gym, and she looked up at the large space instead. She perked though as she got that heady whiff of chlorine, and squealed, turning in that direction. Rachel laughed softly and led the excited girl, moving over to where the offices where. She knocked and got the attention to the pair inside, both males, one human and one mosaic, a bull. Both greeted Rachel warmly before the human spoke up, "Need anything?"

Rachel chuckled softly, "I've got a girl here that's wanting to talk to whoever she needs to in order to get a pool pass" she smirked a little, nodding her head towards Cathrine, who was currently staring longingly towards the pool, looking like she was going to take off in that direction any moment. The human male stood, rather tall but with a very lanky build, the kind that shouted of years of running under his belt. He moved over and nodded to Rachel, then looked over to Cathrine before laughing with a surprisingly deep voice, "That would be me, name's Coach Carlson, Well she's certainly eager enough... I'd prefer seeing her swim first, rules and such gotta know she can take care of herself in the water." Rachel nodded, and Cathrine seemed to take that as a excuse to high tail it to the pool, pulling open the door and slipping in before Rachel and Coach even started in that direction.

Coach laughed, "Like I said, eager" Rachel grinned to him and nodded, "She's excited about the pool, been talking about it since she got here" Carlson opened the door for the bear and she smiled to him, moving inside about the same time Cathrine discovered the high dive. The hybrid had already stripped down to her suit, having been wearing it under her clothing all morning, leaving a pile of her outer clothes on a pile on one of the chairs. Cathrine's suit was made from a special material that was designed for mosaics who enjoy swimming, made to not pull the fur of the wearer while being slick enough as to reduce drag in the water. Cathrine's dark grey suit hugged her curves tightly in one piece, though her back was bare from shoulders all the way down to under her tail except two crossed straps right across the middle of her back.

Rachel couldn't help but to stare, especially at how the girl's suit hugged her breasts and ass under that currently wildly wagging tail. Cathrine looked down at the water, before looking back at Rachel with a wide grin while she dropped her goggles down into the water, and the next moment she'd backed up, taken a pause, then both Rachel and Carlson gasped a bit as Cathrine bounded to the end, bounced off the dive, and back-flipped into the water with barely a splash, disappearing under the water. Rachel blinked as her gaze was broken and looked to Carlson, who barked a laugh, "Oi that girl can go!" Rachel moved her gaze back to the still pool, till she saw what Carlson was talking about, Cathrine was visible below water as a moving white blur, making her way from the deep end that she'd just entered, nearly to the other end of the pool in one go.

Rachel laughed softly, relaxing a bit, watching Cathrine surface, "She's like a fish." Carlson laughed softly, "She's a good swimmer, she's got the pass, just tell her she'll need a companion with her, we don't like it when folks swim alone." Rachel grinned and nodded while replying, moving over to Cathrine's things to get the girl's phone, "Don't worry, I'll come with her, gotta watch out for the girl, eh?" Carlson laughed and smirked a bit, pulling up his own phone and beamed the code to Cathrine's, "There, that will get her in twenty-four seven" he pressed another button that made Cathrine's phone beep and added, "And that's my number in case the code fails, I live literally less then five minutes away and you can always call me, even in the middle of the night."

Rachel blinked, "Won't you be bothered?" Carlson laughed, now watching Cathrine hanging off the edge as she got her goggles on, "Naw, been a while since I've seen such a natural swimmer like her. 'Sides I'm a fire fighter, so I'm used to it." Carlson waved as he moved off and Rachel chuckled softly, moving over to the chair Cathrine had put her things on, gathering the girl's discarded clothing and dumping them in her bag before taking a seat, pulling out her knitting to pass the time, though her attention continuously went back to Cathrine and those curves trapped in that slender swim suit, her thoughts going back to those harnesses, and Rachel grinned.

Oh, the water felt good after way too long being out of it. Cathrine loved to swim, she'd literally been swimming since before she could walk, and hated spending more then a few days out of a pool. She adjusted her goggles and pushed off from the edge, starting in a lazy breaststroke. She sighed as the water flowed around her, relaxing fully for the first time in a few days, just letting the water wash away her worries and thoughts, loosing herself quickly into the pattern of swimming laps. She reveled in the simplistic thrill of it.

Rachel was knitting while she watched Cathrine swim, slowly working on her project of a blanket by winter, adding a streak of purple to the ones already made of dark green, blue and a deep red. The bear grinned to herself as the hybrid did her laps, watching her while her fingers automatically worked on the weave of yarn. She was thinking of that sights she'd gotten to see, Cathrine's bare back the night before, that white rump barely covered by blue panties, that lithe body barely covered by slim swim suit. Rachel was seriously starting to consider Cathrine a tease, unless..."Is she doing this on purpose? maybe she's testing me... really seeing if she can trust me.." her fingers paused as she thought that and she considered a moment, "Twice when her back was turned she's gotten herself vulnerable... and all I could do was ogle because I knew doing something would only scare her... was she seeing what I'd do?" Rachel looked up and watched Cathrine's form as she swam, and tapped her knitting needles together before sighing softly, "Guess we'll see what happens..."

Hours after Cathrine first jumped in, Rachel flagged the swimmer down, and Cathrine stopped short mid-stroke, floating a bit as she looked up at the bear, "You rang?" Rachel chuckled softly and ambled over to the edge of the pool, "You ready to get out or you want to swim longer? I don't know about you but my stomach's starting to rumble and I'm in the mood for non-cafeteria food." Rachel couldn't help but to look over Cathrine as she floated there, hiding her look behind a soft smile. Cathrine sighed and stretched out in the water before flipping over, dipping under and pushing towards the edge where Rachel stood, playfully rushing up and snagging the bear's ankle before she could step back.

Rachel eeped and stepped back with her other foot, looking down at a now grinning Cathrine, blinking before laughing, "Oh just what are you thinking of doing kitten?" Cathrine smirked innocently and swung her feet up, letting go and letting Rachel step back, chuckling softly, "Nothing" Rachel smirked and pokes the girl in the chest playfully, "Should knock you right back in for scaring me!" Cathrine whimpered playfully, folding her ears back meekly and giving Rachel her best puppy dog impression, "Sorry Ursa." Rachel blinked but chuckled softly and waved her paw, "Ah, can't be angry at that face" mock pouting and going back to her things, pointing towards the locker rooms with Cathrine's shampoo bottle, "Brought your shampoo if you want to go wash up or we can head back to the room"

Cathrine looked a little surprised but chuckled, "If you can put up with me being wet and still smelling like chlorine, sure I can take one here." Rachel gave a dimply grin and said in a very serious voice, "Kitten, I don't think I'll ever mind you wet." Cathrine flushed a deep red at the twinkle in the sky-blue eyes of the older female and coughed softly, dropping her gaze and rubbing her left forearm with her right hand, her wet tail curling up as if trying to hide. Rachel simply grinned more before reaching up and squeezing her shoulder, turning her towards the locker rooms and handing her the bottle, "Go on then girl, go get cleaned." As Cathrine stepped that way, Rachel couldn't help but to trail her hand down the girl's back, grinning as the hybrid gave the smallest of shivers.

Cathrine clutched the bottle as she made her way in that direction, shivering a touch, "Oh that felt good.." she shook her head and swallowed, calling back before she made it into the locker room, "Mind bringing my clothes in?" Rachel chuckled and pulled up her bag, following more slowly and letting Cathrine get into the shower if she wished, "Aw but that means you have less distance to walk around naked." From behind the curtain the water started up and Rachel heard a laugh, "Oh who would want to see me naked?" Rachel couldn't help it, "Well I would love it, course I have a feeling half the campus would enjoy it as well"

Cathrine drenched herself a moment before starting to wash up, attempting to keep her voice as casual as she could manage, even though her face was red hidden behind the curtain, "You think you'd love it huh." She heard Rachel's laugh and a husky tone as the bear reply, "Think? Kitten I know I'd love it." Cathrine fell quiet a while as she washed, pulling her hair out and washing it once or twice before working on her fur, saying in a casually playful way, "You'd love it? I dunno, I'm all skinny and stuff." She looked down at herself, actually rather happy with the way that swimming and running kept her in shape. "All skinny? well maybe that's just because you eat too much meat and not enough veggies. Personally I think you're pretty dang hot, girl" came Rachel's voice from the other side, words that only made Cathrine blush. She considered a moment thoughtfully before changing the subject, "So where you wanna get dinner?"
