A Dragon's Day at Preschool
The first chapter of a little story starring my fursona
"A Dragon's Day At Preschool"

Chapter 1:
One fine morning in a mobile home village, the sun was creeping up into the sky from the east.
The sky giving off a nice orange hue along with its usual blue, the birds started to sing their morning song, and most of all, cubs, caretakers and others were preparing for their day. Some cubs going to school, preschool or daycare, caretakers headed off for work or to take their cubs to wherever they were going. School buses were headed down the road to pick up kids headed to school, and a preschool bus was headed for the village.
One cub in particular, a three year old dragon was just waking up.
His mother carefully making her way into the little dragon's bedroom, walking up to his bed, she began to mutter his name
"Jake....Jake....Wake up little dragon." Upon hearing her muttering, the little dragon stirred and slowly opened his eyes.
"Good morning, mommy." He sleepily said.
"Hi there, Jake!" The mother replied
"Did you sleep good? I'll bet you did!" She gently tickled his tummy as he giggled.
"Let's get you changed and ready for preschool today, huh?"
Picking him up and taking him to his changing table, she undressed him, changed his diaper, dressed him in a red shirt and shortalls along with some
Thomas the Tank Engine tennis shoes and took him into the kitchen for his breakfast.
Placing him in his highchair as his parents discovered that keeping him in it was keeping him calm and still at mealtime, he began to eat his breakfast
of cheerios. After going through his morning routine, his mother packed his backpack while he watched one of his Thomas the Tank Engine videos
awaiting the arrival of the preschool bus. Jake loved preschool, he loved to see his little friends and loved all the fun that he could have. Soon, a honk
came from outside the mobile home, it was the preschool bus, picking Jake up. "Come, on, Jake!" His mother said, turning off the Thomas video
"The bus is here!"
"Yay!" Jake exclaimed as his mother helped him put on his backpack.
Walking out the door holding his mother's hand, Jake walked up to the bus, after its doors had opened to reveal his bus driver who said "Good Morning" to him as the bus aide helped him onto the bus, put him in a carseat, and strapped him in. His mother waved goodbye to him as the bus backed out of the driveway and onto the road, taking him and the other cubs on their way to preschool.
