chapter 5 - the other kendo pt.1: origins- a kendowolf story

As kendo was driving alice was thinking of what just happened; that kendo, with his gentle soul and kind heart, had broken her fathers arms without hesitation so he could protect her from her father. She looked at him and smiled because she had had never met anyone like him, he didn't really know her and he opened his home up to her when she needed a place to go to feel safe. Kendo saw alice smile out of the corner of his eye and smiled back.
" We'l be at marie calanders in about 3 minutes" kendo said, putting his right hand on her left.
Alice held his hand and looked down at her little black dress and felt her heart pound inside her chest. The rest of the ride was quiet; when they got to the resturaunt, alice released kendos hand so he could get out, and then he opened her door for her and when she got out he offered her his arm, and she held it as they walked in. The resturaunt wasn't that busy, and a female tabby was able to seat them right away, alice noticed how big the salad bar was ans asked kendo if she could get it. When they sat down kendo orderd 2 glasses of water and 2 salad bars, the waitress left, they got up and made thier salads, and sat back down; when the waitress gave them their waters taylon walked up to them, he was wearing a button up blue shirt, black jeans ans sneakers with his wings folded against his back.
" Hey kendo, hi alice, fancy seeing you here" taylon said, waving at them.
" Hi taylon" kendo said when taylon reached the table, " What brings you here, we're her for dinner."
" I stopped by here for a bite before going home" taylon said, putting his hands on the table.
Kendo got up and went to use the bathroom and taylon spoke to alice.
" Alice, i need to tell you something about kendo that i pray you never have to see for yourself, and this is something kendo doesn't remember" taylon said with a sad tone.
" What is it taylon?" alice asked, scared of what she was about to hear.
" When kendo was nine, the court forced him to live with his dad for a whole year, and during that time kendo was hurt and abused; his father would hit him, slash and burn his back, he was barley surviving because he only ate once a day at his dads. Kendo never told anyone, but he developed a second personality because he had no way to get away from the pain, the second him took away the pain because it fed on it. The first time i saw it was in 6th grade; derek, a brown bear who was in 8th grade was picking on kendo, hurting him by throwing apples at him, and when electra told him to stop he grabbed her by the throat and pulled out a knife. That's when kendo changed, his fur turned as black as night, his eyes became as red as blood; he gave a demons growl and jumped at derek, breaking both his arms, derek got up and ran and kendo let out a howl of victory. Kendo was like a wild animal, he didn't reconize anyone, but when he calmed down enough to where he looked normal, he didn't remember anything he just did. Ipray you never have to see the darker kendo" Taylon said. He then un-buttoned the top of his shirt to reveal 3 slash marks, pink flesh where scales to be.
" What happened to you? Did kendo do that?" Alice asked, shocked because nothing tears through dragon scales.
" Kendo did this to me when i stopped him from killing derek, it wasn't the kendo so i don't hold it against him. Don't be scared of kendo, he is a great guy and a loyal friend, but if you see him change don't do anything becase he attacks the threat."
Taylon buttoned up his shirt as kendo got back to the table. Taylon left and alice looked at kendo, not sure if there could be such evil in the gentle wolf in front of her.
" So, tell me a bit more about yourself alice" kendo said, breaking the silence.
Alice smiled, " I was born febuary 28th 1990, my family moved here from florida 2 years ago because my dad got a job here; i'm trying to find a job, but 2012 isn't good for me for the most part. I like to dance, go to the beach and i hope to be a councler someday."
" We'll, maybe i can help you out with the job part; lets see, tomorrow is the weekend so, starting monday you'll be the new receptionist in my office, you can make the appointments " Kendo said with his chin on his hand, a smile on his face and salad on his fork.
Alice looked at kendo and began to think that this might be a dream, that it was impossible for anyone who has experienced so much hurt and lose, to be so nice and careing.
" Thanks kendo, that means alot to me" alice said with a smile on her face.
As they ate dinner, kendo told alice about his past, including what his dad did to him, and that the office where he wroks was given to him by his councler and teacher; when the waitress came back kendo brought out a coupon for a free slice of pie, he asked for a chocolate cream and he and alice shared it. As they left kendo left a $20 tip, but on the way back to kendos house alice asked a question that shocked kendo.
" From what you've told me i can tell you and electra are close, so have the two of you ever had sex together?" Alice asked looking down at the floor.
Kendo bluched and he studerd as he answerd her, " N-not exactly, when ev-ever she's in heat she has, uh, asked, but i say no everytime; instead i, um, i let her use my tail to help sastify her burn. I'm still a virgin."
Alice let out a sigh of relief, : she's lucky to have someone like you as a friend"
Kendo took her left hand and kissed it gently, he held her hand until they got home. After they arrived at kendos house and went inside kendo led her to the guest bedroom where alice had put her stuff, she told him to hold on a sec while she changed into her nightgown and she closed the door. Alice watched as kendo went into his room and closed his door and all alice could do was smile as she went in to the guest bedroom. They both ate their breakfast, cleaned and put away the dishes and changed their clothes; kendo was wearing blue jeans and a black short sleeved shirt, and alice decided to keep her hair down while she wore blue pants and a red short sleeved shirt with a blue heart on the chest. The door bell rang and when alice came out of the room she saw two siemese twins follow kendo into the living room; the two girls looked exactly the same except one one them had an engagment ring on, but both were wearing a black miniskirt and a blue tangtop and sandels. Alice went into the living room and sat down next to kendo and noticed the girls light blue eyes. Kendo introduced them a felicity and felicia, and felicia was wearing the ring.
" I wanted to stop by and tell you i'm getting married kendo" felicia said in an excited voice, " He makes me feel so special and he doesn't mind what i did in my past."
" Felicia wanted to come by and tell you after you had helped us long ago, but we must be going to get home in time for the wedding in two days" felicity said with a smile.
Kendo opened the door for them to leave.
" I know you will be very happy felicia, and best of luck" Kendo said as they left.
Alice walked up to kendo and put an arm around his shoulders.
" She has such a tramatic past, but she made me relize that i have found the perfect girl, and that's you alice" kendo said putting an arm around her.
Alice smiled and looked at him, but instead of silver fur, she saw black.
