#3 of The hack book 3: The Citadel

Well, I have some things going on this weekend so I decided to finish up Chapter three to free up some time for the weekend. Hope you enjoy!

With Trent...

"Is the malware ready yet?" Arron asked.

"Almost, I just need to convert it to an executable with Pyinstaller," Trent said as he booted into Debian which was what the servers would most likely run.

He then opened terminal and typed in the command 'Pyinstaller --onefile CitaM' and hit enter as it started to create a Unix executable for the servers.

"Done," Trent said as he program was completed and uploaded it onto their servers and encrypt their database.

"I will upload the video," Aron said as he uploaded the video they made along with the subtitles.

'''

Why hello there everyone, we are Tsociety, some of you may remember our previous hack yesterday and how we revealed Gigabytes of important documents and files.

Well this hack is going to different as we will be giving them their privacy, by encrypting their entire database.

The data is encrypted in AES-128 keys which will make it impossible to decrypt without the right password which could take millions of years to find with even the government's resources.

What is the password you ask? We value everyone's privacy and as a result, we don't know what your password is.

So sit there as we watch you stumble without your knowledge and try to justify your nefarious deeds which we have revealed.

We are, Tsociety.

'''

After about fifteen minutes, the malware had finished encrypting the data as Trent, Aron and Kit packed up their bags to go outside since staying any longer could reveal their location.

"Milden told us to meet at a nearby coffee shop here," Kit said as she pulled up a pdf of the city they were in and had to literally use their phone's compass to locate where they are.

{Maybe we should have payed attention during that orientation class,} Scient said.

{No shit we should have,} Trent replied as they walked in the direction which they hoped was the right way.

With Asher...

'I hope I'm not too late,' Asher thought as he walked towards the coffee shop to meet Milden as he wondered wether he was late since he didn't say anything about timing.

Asher found Milden sitting near the window after looking around for a while and walked towards him.

"Hi Milden, sorry if I'm late," Asher said while looking into Milden's emerald green eyes.

"Your not late, and I just wanted to have a small talk so its fine," Milden said, Asher smiled as Milden said that and took a sip of hot chocolate while taking a glance outside, and saw Kit, Aron, and Trent walking towards him.

Asher nearly spat out his chocolate when he saw them walking towards him and actually caused his drink to go down the wrong pipe.

"Are you okay?" Milden asked, concerned for Asher and also noticed them walking towards them.

"Yeah," Asher said as he cleared his throat. Kit, Aron and Trent walked inside and sat down near Asher and Milden while taking out their laptops out of their bag.

"Why hello, there Asher, what are the odds?" Kit siad as Asher just sat there in disbelief.

'How did they know I was here?' Asher thought ass he had only contacted people in either Signal or Wickr Me, and both of them were next to impossible to hack by a mad-in-the-middle attack.

"Wait, did you invite them here too?" Asher asked Milden.

"Yeah, sorry that I didn't tell you earlier," Milden said a little sheepishly.

"Its fine, I just didn't expect it," Asher said.

"Anywho, we all know that we have tomorrow's hack to prepare for and the two other hacks after that, so lets get started with it," Kit said as she pulled out her laptop and showed some PDFs on what they had planned to do next.

With Chris...

"You got the botnet ready?" Chris asked Mike.

"Yeah, the internet connection is much slower here in Russia," Mike said as he and Chris had to move to Russia after the FBI managed to get their home address. They usually contact the rest of Tsociety every two weeks but other than that and the Tsociety countdown, they never contacted Tsociety.

"That's to be expected, though we will have to get ready soon since they will be calling us anytime now," Chris said as he sat beside Mike on the bed where they would have their call and leaned on his shoulder.

Mike then sent the PDF files they found through signal and waited for them to start the call.

"Hey guys," Kit said through the video and turned the laptop to make it face the rest of Tsociety at the café Aron, Milden, Trent, and even Asher.

"Well he're, he're for I am the bringer of bad news, Ghost Code is back," Chris said and heard a faint 'son of a bitch' from Kit and watched as Trent and Aron were just sitting there with Trent most likely contemplating his life decisions.

"Who is Ghost Code?" Milden asked since he was relatively new to Tsociety and no one really needed to bring Ghost Code up since they were busy with more important things.

"Ghost was one of the most dangerous hacktivist groups until we thought we took them down, it seems that they have returned after all these years," Trent explained with his exasperated face.

"Well, fuck" Aron said in frustration while Kit began to bang her head on the table.

"Hey arseholes, we can take them down for good this time since we have more information on them then before thanks to Milden and can take them down even easier than before," Mike said which got their attention.

"He's right, I've sent some PDF files on what their latest project is, they seem to be trying to infiltrate the security of Furcoin to try and erase their entire database," Chris said.

"Why exactly would they try to erase the entire database of Furcoin? They wouldn't have anything to gain since they will also lose all of their Furcoin to their own hack," Trent said.

"They aren't trying to get the world broke, their trying to balance it," Asher said suddenly which caused all eyes to turn to him.

"By erasing Furcoin's entire database, not only would they be able to erase everyone's wallets, but they would also be able to erase everyone's debt to the banks and federal government. They aren't trying to make the world as broke as it already is, they're trying to reset the world's economy," Asher finished.

"Asher's got a good point, if they actually manage to erase all of Furcoin, then they could wipe every mortgage and credit card debt which would balance the world and essentially reset the economy," Aron said in realization.

"So then we're good. I mean, we can easily avoid this problem by simply trading our Furcoin to the point where we are in massive debt from buying stuff then sell it after the reset or just convert it into cash then storing it away, right?" Kit asked.

"No, by resetting the economy, one dollar may be next to worthless and hold no value since the entire economy is reset. If we really want something good to come out of it then we have to modify their operation to instead erase only debt and leave everyone who isn't in debt keep their money or try to redistribute it to people who are on the poorer end of the spectrum," Asher said as they tried to plan out their next move.

"How about we modify their program at the last minute to only erase the accounts that are in debt then transfer the richest accounts into some crypto tumblers to erase their tracks and then gather them into some Furcoin wallets to redistribute it," Trent suggested.

"That would definitely work, but with one small modification, we steal from the Machina group," Asher said as they all began to download their malware and modify it to suit their needs.

With Kate...

"God that was tiring," Kate said as she stretched due to having to work for over nine hours straight trying to fix some of the exploits she found while trying to secretly install some software that she planned on using later.

"I can see why my parents have a hunchback now," Juliet said from looking down at her laptop for more four hours straight.

"Maybe we were better off trying to carry them," Kate said as she took her bag and laptop to head back home.

"Well they're only 115 pounds each so have fun," Juliet said as Kate walked out of the room and head back home.

Kate noticed noting strange when she wet home, but she felt like she was being followed and decided to make a few turns into an alleyway to see if there really was anyone following her. She took a glance behind but saw nothing and instead continued walking and reached a bus stop and saw a polar bear sitting on the bench, he was about 5 8" and looked at Kate for a moment then adverted his gaze.

'All right, just go into the bus and erase your phone while your at it in case stalk comes to stab,' Kate thought and went onto the bus while scanning the QR code to transfer her Furcoin wallet with the polar bear following and taking a seat near the door. She then proceeded to go into recovery mode and pressed the volume buttons to get to 'erase' and began to erase her phone and opened the sim tray to access and break both her microSD card and sim card.

"Um, mam..." The polar bear said as Kate went off the bus and ignored as she walked towards a small fire that a homeless person had mad and threw the remains of her phone into it.

"Sorry mam, but your Kate Willson right?" the polar bear managed to catch up to Kate and asked her.

"Um...yes," Kate said as nervousness was rising in her body.

"I'm part of the FBI and I'm afraid you are under arrest," the polar bear said and pulled out some handcuffs and quickly attached them onto Kate.

'Damn it, please keep your security up for my sake Jake,' Kate thought as she was pulled into a nearby car and headed towards a place that she assumed would have an interrogation room.

With Jake...

'Finally done exporting the keys,' Jake thought as he exported the encryption keys used to encrypt the servers in case they would ever need it.

Jake then went onto Vimeo to check out the latest Tsociety video and looked for any errors in the video, he didn't find any errors or mistakes and decided to make this the end of the day and packed up to head back home. After a while he went to the lift and was greeted with some policemen who went into his supervisor's office.

'Good riddance," he thought as he entered the lift and pressed the button, he scanned his keycard then waited as the doors closed with the lift lowering to ground level.

'I wonder if Kate is cooking anything,' he thought as the doors opened with him walking outside and walking back home while checking his phone.

Tren {Hey, we fnd out something big}

{What is it?} Me

Tren {G.C is back}

{Wait, u mean 2020 G.C?} Me

Tren {ys}

Tren {I will snd u the PDF fils}

{Ok} Me

Jake nearly had a heart attack at the message and immediately downloaded the files and read through them as he walked back home. He read through them and noticed that the code had a small vulnerability, if someone were to try andrun the code on his custom Linux Distro and then make it only erase the debt in the accounts. He could essentially not only erase all debt but also double the amount in the existing accounts thanks to a small exploit in the sudo function all those years ago.

'I better tell them about this," Jake thought as he entered his house and began to plan the next hack they would execute.
