The partner PT 2
**This Adventure takes place right after my first Adventure with Rai, we had just boarded a private jet. "So what's this about Rai" I ask, "Seems someone is looking for something big, and I need your help looking for it" replies the lynx. "Ok I'm game" I say as I sit back in the chair relaxing. "Ok so were heading to Peru" says the lynx as he passes me a folder I open it revealing a dossier on something called Abomination X. As I read through we begin to take off, "So this Abomination X is supposed to be really deadly?" I question the lynx. "Yes very at its full power it's considered a doomsday device" says Rai looking slightly worried. "Don't worry Rai once we find it and beat it we can take a well deserved break." I say smiling, the lynx smiles back acknowledging it. As we continue flying to Peru I look up more things about Abomination X and try to devise a plan on what would happen if we fought it. 2 hours later we land at an airport and disembark the jet walking to a man by a humvee. As Rai converses with him he hands Rai some keys and calls me over, as we enter the humvee I notice all the weaponry it has being both amazed and impressed. "Ready kiddo" I ask, "Of course boss" says Rai as we drive off to our next adventure.
As we drove through the forest we get to a temple and we get out the humvee entering the temple. "So what's in here Rai?" I question the lynx. "Well the only that can awaken A-X is in here" says the lynx as I nod following him deeper, into the temple we then get to a room surrounded by artifacts. I stand in awe as Rai goes to the center of the room, as he does he stops looking shocked "W-where is it?" as Rai in shock and terror. "Where is what? Rai" I ask. "The key to activating A-X it's supposed-", "Yes it was there" says a blue dragoness behind us with a skox ,and several Gorillas holding weapons. Rai and I raise our hands as they begin to tie us up and set C-4 bombs around us. "Who are you" I ask the dragoness. "None of your business" says the dragoness. "Durr butt Ms. Lolli I thought we were looking for the artifact" says one of dumb gorillas as Lolli slaps him over the head. "You moron we have it already have it" says Lolli. Then what looks like a face of surprise on me I look at her, "Lolli as in the female scientist Lolli." As I say that she looks at me and walks to me "Ya that's me what about it" she asks. "Well I'm a big fan of your work your research was amazing" I say smiling "Good to know someone appreciated my work unlike those asses back at the industry who only looked at me as a woman and a piece of ass I'm going to show them I was right about Abomination X, and thanks to my friend Nyx here she will help me" Me and Rai's attention turn to the skox. "Don't bother asking me anything your both going to die anyway" as she ignites part of her fur and ignite the C-4 they both take their leave with the small gorilla force following them.
"Damn how are we going to get out of here" asks Rai looking concerned. "I think I have an idea" I say as I slowly change my body into extreme form and I break the bounds on us and as we get up to go we notice the C-4 nearly complete we head outside but as we do the blast knocks me and Rai out cold and as the temple comes crumbling down on us we are saved by a mysterious person and taken out of the cave lying on the wall the stranger then pours water on us waking us up. "Gah so cold" I say looking at our savior but notice a metallic tentacle and get startled "Sorry for scaring you" says the blue dragon standing there with the metallic tentacles. "I just say Lolli and what she did I figure I would help but I guess I was a little later" says the dragon "who are you" asks Rai. "I'm Berra" says the dragon smiling as his tentacles move about. "Well Berra I'm Xetroix and this is my partner Rai". "Hey" says Rai raising his paw. Berra smiles as we all go to his jungle hideout, and explain the situation to him, and he explained Lolli, and Nyx's reasons for doing this. As partners at a laboratory Berra, Lolli, and Nyx were all friends but Berra was treated with more respect since he was a male, while Lolli and Nyx were both treated differently since they were both female, in doing so they were always disrespected because of their gender, Berra being friends with them both didn't want to see his friends get hurt so he followed them here. Knowing full well of both of our missions we decided to work together to help each other.
As the morning drew near, Rai, Berra, and I all started to head out to where A-X is. As we continued to go to the temple we all found the caravan of the gorilla soldiers, knowing full well we could not waste time we swiftly and easily dispatched each of them taking their weapons and a map. The further we got going to the temple, the less and less wildlife and trees there were almost like someone or something come through here. Rai then begins to explain that A-X was once used as a way to destroy entire continents in order to feed its hunger. As we got to the temple we find the entrance has been buried by stone possibly to keep us out, which wasn't going to work. I used my weather gauntlet to shatter the rocks with lightning and we took that entrance. The further we entered the colder it got not that me or Rai minded us having fur, but Berra minded a little. We then entered the deepest chamber of the temple, we looked inside the whole room golden and with a tablet at the front with a drawing of A-X on it and Lolli and Nyx in front of the tablet with a scroll. "Lolli, Nyx STOP PLEASE" says Berra as he runs to the two females. As the two females turn to him Berra stops in his tracks at the sight of Lolli holding a pistol at him. "Berra please we have to do this to PROVE we are not just some girls we are women willing to prove we are just if not better than those asses at the lab." Says Lolli with a fire in her eyes, "They chose this fate when they decided to disrespect our intelligence." Adds Nyx. "But this isn't worth it" I say hoping to change their minds. "You both don't seem to understand how dangerous this is, if Abomination-X is released the whole world would be in peril" says Rai pleading with them, "Foolish boy we will make this beast ours" says Lolli as she turns back to the scroll chanting in an ancient language, I the dash at her but get caught off by flames created by Nyx. As Nyx stands there ready to defend herself I jump the flame, running at her and as I deliver a swift kick she uses the flame to hold my kick back right before it connects and she delivers a never racking punch to me and as I grab my guy Rai quickly jumps over me and her going after Lolli but then as he gets close she finishes her chanting and then a loud screeching like sound and knocks all of us down.
As the screeching continues the tablet begins to break down a black light comes from it until a big crack is made then a large claw comes out of it crushing the tablet and Abomination X comes through the whole room feels as if we all just walked into the ice-age. "ABOMINATION-X I HAVE FREED YOU NOW YOU MUST OBEY ME" shouts Lolli, but as she does it then begins to charge up a black energy looking move from its mouth, and all the light around us gets sucked away. As it charges more Berra comes and shields Lolli but then as he does A-X fires at them both. As the blast of energy hits the ground the whole area around us obliterates, leaving nothing but a crater. Next minute we know all of them exit from a portal, and I stumble out panting hard. "Time portals take a lot out of me" I say panting as I notice Berra clinging to Lolli and her crying saying I'm sorry and I Look at Rai handing him the gauntlet and we both walk to the crater. As we are walking through the dust of the explosion I become extreme form while the gauntlet on him becomes armor, we then run at A-X. The A-X begins to attack us, I use energy based weapons on it while Rai uses all forms of weather based attacks on it both of our moves having no effect on it, A-X then swipes at me with its tail sending me flying and it sends a shockwave at Rai sending us both flying farther. "Damn this thing is strong" I say groaning. "This is supposed to be the ultimate entity we have to find some way of beating it". "We have to try something" I say as I charge at the monster Rai following me as we continue our assault to no avail.
The creature gives another blast at Rai and I leaving both of us battered and bloody. "R-rai" I say as I crawl to Rai, bleeding. "X-xetroix" he crawls to me as well our paws connecting as we lose consciousness. As the beast roars of victory our blood reaches into the temple and touches the tablet A-X came out of and shines brightly, and a blast of energy comes up and hits me and Rai our wounds healing, and we gain consciousness. "What's this power" I ask standing up my body glowing. "I don't know" says Rai as his body glows as well. Next minute we know our armor changes color my extreme form changes from black to gold, and Rai's armor disappears and he turns into a Lynx dragon wolf hybrid. The light so great it awakens Berra, Nyx, and Lolli they stare in amazement of these new forms. "EXTREME LEON FORM" I shout gaining a sword "GOLDEN DRAGON FUSION MODE" shouts Rai as he gains dual swords and wings. The A-X fires another blast at us but we slash it in half and I fly up while Rai flies down and simultaneously we slash it in half. As it gets slashed in half all the light around us returns and it begins to fade into nothing through the light and I and Rai stand there our forms disappearing back into us as we fall down unconscious.
The moment i wake up I find myself in Berra's home, "What happened" I ask. "You beat it" says Lolli bringing me some tea, "W-we did" I say shocked looking around. "Where is Rai" I ask "He's outside resting" replies Nyx. I smile knowing the world has been saved but I am curious at what had happen with the temple. A couple of days later we are all at the airport, "So you guys are going to continue working ignoring those dumbasses at the lab" I ask Nyx and Lolli and they nod in acknowledgement. "What about you two where will you both go" asks Berra; "I have some things to take care of back in Japan" says Rai. "I have a family to take care of" I add, "Well good luck to you both and here is a gift from me and Nyx" says Lolli as I get a kiss on the cheek from Lolli and Rai gets a kiss on the cheek from Nyx. Both ladies run off dragging Berra giggling leaving us blushing. At Rai's gate we start to make our last words, "So this is goodbye again huh" I say to Rai. "Ya boss" we shake paws, and hug before I watch Rai board his plane. As I watch him take off I think back at the memories hoping us to always meet again I then take my bag and walk to my gate saying these last few words. "Case Closed".
