The partner
I think back at my quest for revenge the quest was pretty boring, except when I met one of my partners. The Scene moves me to being in the dark streets of Tokyo, Japan with me wearing a large black cloak. I was searching for Doctor Narutaki Saruchi, the one responsible for my changing abilities. "Before I kill him I should thank him" I say with a sick smile as I walk into a small bar. As I walk into the bar I start to grab the attention of everyone in the bar as I head to the main bar. As the bartender asks me a question in Japanese I show him a picture of the doctor, "Why are you looking for him" says the bartender in a somewhat aggressive and questioning tone. "I am searching for him" I reply back and before I can take the photo back he stabs it with a knife, "The doctor does not like to be disturbed" says the bartender as most of the bar get encircle me each holding a different weapons.
As the recipients of the bar get closer a yellow lynx dragon jumps in the gap between me and them. "Ore Sanjou" shouts the mysterious new player as I look on in confusion. "Don't worry I will protect you" says the lynx with confidence, as I look on confused even more. "I can handle the pu-"the lynx gets cut off as one of bar patrons lunges for him yet getting cut off mid pounce by my knee. "Listen we have to work together to survive "I say, as the lynx nods in agreement and then a bar fight ensues. Later we then arrive at my current home a small apartment in quiet side of the city. "I'm Xetroix Dragwolf and you are" I ask curiously, "Oh I'm "Rai Inuzuma but you can call me Rai!" says the lynx as we both shook paws out of respect as we continued talking. "So if I help you find this doctor you will pay me?" asks the lynx. "Yes I will" I reply back, "Sure I will help, I can use the money", "Ok we can start looking tomorrow, and you can sleep here for the night"I say, "Sure, thank you again Xetroix" says Rai as I nod in agreement watching him walk into my guest room.
The next day we search all over Japan for the doctor, going through several cities and towns before stopping in Osaka. "Yo X I think I have a lead" says Rai, "Ok good lets go" I reply walking following Rai, in which we get to a factory. As we search the factory we find some clues on to where he is but we also learned that Narutaki was warned of my arrival and had planned some members of the factory to take me out, but like all of his plans they ended up with his soldiers being beaten easily. As we finished this large fight one of the soldiers became interrogated by Rai and we learned of where he was fully back in Tokyo. "Rai these past couple of months I thank you for helping me with this", "It's ok X were friends and besides it was fun going around beating up people" says Rai chuckling as we board our train to Tokyo. After a 2 day trip we finally arrived in Tokyo but as we looked out our window we noticed a group of thugs holding wanted pictures of us obvious they were hired by Narutaki, and so instead of trying to fight them off we decided it was best to just retreat for now. And so we did as we got off on the other side of the train, and when we thought we had escaped we got jumped by the same street thugs at the station me and Rai quickly decided to use the environment to our advantage meaning several of them got dumped, and some got trashed (no pun intended). So with that distraction out of the way we quickly moved to where Narutaki was an old abandoned factory in the dark part of Tokyo. "Are you ready" I question, "Of course" Rai replies, as we enter the factory our quest nearly over.
As we entered the dark factory all the lights were off making it difficult to see. "How can we fight when we can't even see" whined Rai. "You don't need your eyes to see anything Rai" I reply to him as we walked further and further into the factory and as we entered the center of it all the lights shone on us the top level of the factory all had guards holding guns and at the back of it all was Narutaki. "Xetroix I have been waiting for you" as he finished all the thugs aim at us "Quite a chase you have been on my friend" he laughs. I snarl at him "but it's all worth it to kill you Narutaki." "Foolish boy you will die before you kill me which will happen now" as he finishes all the thugs prepare to fire. "Rai get behind me" I say, "What why" questions Rai, "Just do it unless you want to have more holes then a woman does" and as soon as I say it Rai moves behind me and as soon as he does shots are fired off. "EXTREME" I shout as my armor gets on me all the shots having no effect on me. "Are you done Narutaki" I question and he growls and more shots are fired and they still have no effect I raise my arm and its magnetic properties bring several guns to me as I hand them to Rai. "Go wild" I tell Rai as he goes on a killing spree with perfect aim and accuracy killing everyone. As Narutaki retreats I grab Rai and super jumps on the platform Rai continuing his path of destruction, I smile and chuckle as I chase after Narutaki. I then find him trying to get into a car but before he can drive away I forcefully rip the hood off the car destroying the engine Narutaki being the stubborn fool he was didn't give up and shot me in the face with a grenade. With the grenade having no effect I slowly and menacingly move to him. As Narutaki cringes in fear at his ever looming doom he whimpers and begs for his life to be spared but I choose not to ad hear to them and lift him up shoving my hand into his chest ripping his bones out of the hole I made blood spewing everywhere leaving him boneless I drop his lifeless body and walk back inside to finding Rai still owning the thugs all by-himself at the final thug Rai Grabs a shotgun and shoots him at the neck his head being shot off blood spewing like a fountain. A couple of days later we are at the airport. "Well I guess this is good-bye then" I say. "Yea it is" replies Rai. "Never forget this little adventure we had K Rai" I say patting his shoulder. "Never Xetroix this by far was the most fun I ever had." Rai then goes and extends his paw and I shake it secretly leaving him a note. As we head to our respective gates he then finds the note reading "Call whenever you wanna have some fun again from your friend Mr.X." Rai then boards his plane with a smile.
10 years later
I am at home reading with Wolf and Ignatiaus at our detective agency, I then get a call from someone. "Hello two kings detective age-"I get cut off by a familiar voice. "Hey guys I need to go somewhere and meet an old friend at the airport." "Ok Xetroix", "Ok dad" says both Ignatiaus and Wolf as I take my leave. Later at the airport I find a golden lynx looking much older than before we shake hands and walk towards our next adventure.
