"Huh...this is it?..."

Kara softly said to herself, admiring the bright pink box that was delivered to her. Inside contained a pink ballerina dress with shiny white boots. She had scratched at her head, a little confused on how this would work. She had ordered it from a company that makes costumes based off cartoon characters. The gimmick being when you wear them, you actually physically transform into the character! There has been a few results showcasing proof, but not enough due to how expensive it is. She wanted to try it out herself since she had always loved Pearl from Spongebob Squarepants. An odd choice for sure, since she's not really a popular pick. But it's what she wanted...and now it was right in front of her! She took it out of the box, gently feeling the soft fabric on her fingertips. She breathes in and out to herself.

"Okay...this is gonna be ultra weird...but...I really wanna give it a shot! If it doesn't work...then maybe I could just cosplay as her?.."

*With that being said, she undresses from her normal clothing and slips on the dress which fit nice and snug around her body. Then she popped in the white boots around her feet, twirling her ankle a bit. It felt pretty good! She walked towards her mirror to get a good look. She did look great in it...but she tapped her cheeks...then rubbed her arms...and finally patted her head...nothing was happening. *

"...Well, that stinks. Was I scammed or something?..."

Slightly disappointed, she picked up the box to see if there was any special instructions she missed. However, unbeknownst to her, the changes have already begun starting with her hair. Her normal dark brown curls began to puff up a bit, brightening in color. The brown faded and withered away and spread out into a bright blonde shine that flowed down her shoulders. She squinted her eyes a bit, reading more of the box.

"Hmm, It says here that the change should happen right away....well I don't see anythin-...what the?..."

She saw the yellow curls dangling from her head. She gently touches it, feeling her brand new blonde hair. She gasped and looked at herself in the mirror with a smile on her face.

*"It is working! ooo, this is a great look!" she says with joy. *

at that moment, she felt her body start to become quite warm. She held onto her stomach, leaning onto her dresser as she closed her eyes.

"Oh boy...yep...here it comes!..."

Her tan skin began to change color as well, becoming a light shade of grey. The texture overall of her skin changed as well, becoming more blubbery and slippery, that of an actual whale. She felt her new skin, seeing her reflection in the mirror. With her entire body adjusting to the new skin, she suddenly felt intense pressure in her head. She grunted and closed her eyes again as she held onto the sides of her head, with it beginning to grow in size. Slight pops and cracks of bone were heard, with her skull reshaping to accommodate her new changes. She cried out a bit, as it did feel very odd...not enough to be too painful, but slightly uncomfortable.

*"I should've...nngh...picked sandy...or...something...e-easier...aagh!" She softly speaks, as she continued growing, her face now starting to thicken out into a humongous snout. *

It continued growing, pushing out inch by inch as her ears shrank, her head shifting to become much more block like. with a few more snaps and pops, her snout had finished forming. dizzy, she steps back a bit, her room vibrating due to how heavy she was now. she fell onto her bed, the wooden bedframe snapping apart. she gasps.

*"Oh goodness! I'm so...big!" she calls out, looking at herself in the mirror. *

*She had blue eyes...just like pearl...it happened! She transformed into her! She holds onto her huge snout, rubbing the sides of it. Then she opened up her mouth, seeing her teeth. She then spreads into a huge smile and let's out a cheerful girly squeal. *

*"I did it! I did it! yay! yay!!" She cheers out, jumping in happiness. *

however, with each jump, the entire room shook, with the floor having heavy dents now. She looked down at it, lifting up her foot.

"Oops...I gotta be more careful...Let me just finish up the look..." She says, as she opens up her drawer. She takes out a pink scrunchie she had in there and lifts up her blonde hair. She ties it into a straight ponytail, just like pearl in the cartoon. With that done, she then takes out her red lipstick and leans forward. she draws a heart shape right in the middle. after filling it, she puckers her lips and gives a little kiss, giggling to herself.

"Alright! I'm done! I can't wait to show off to my friends and family!' She says excitedly as she looks at her bedroom door. There was just one problem...

"....How the heck am I gonna get out of here?..."
