To those who think Crossville Tennessee is a peaceful town, some survivors of a cataclysmic event will beg to differ. There was once an evil unlike you have ever seen. It gorged itself on the flesh and blood of the poor victims to fall to its mighty power. It was unopposed for many years until two teenage boys; named Dusty and Clark, no older then seventeen got tired of living in the shackles of fear. They were the first of many to form a resistance and battle this creature from an unruly hell.

Dusty and Clark were leaving the roller rink hoping to avoid an encounter with the monster. "It's later than I thought. We better get to the car," said Clark.

"I agree Clark. I despise having to be in the dark after what it did to my grandparents two years ago, but before we go let's hit up the ice-cream shop its right near the car anyways," pleaded Dusty. Clarks just shook his head in disbelief but agreed to go as long as they got something fast. They were twenty feet from, the door when a blood curdling scream emitted form behind them. Dusty looked behind them to see a man beheaded by the damned monster that plagued their town. The abomination slowly began to brink the blood from its new victim. Dusty wanted to run but was to afraid to until Clark punched him in the side bringing him back into reality and allowed them to run faster than either could ever run. By the time they got into the car the beast was nigh upon them."That was fucking insane. That thing just killed old man Jenkins. We gotta get out of here. Go to Sneed we can find shelter at my place."

"Are you sure about that Dusty? We might be able to hold out at the old cemetery. Barely anyone goes there so we can regroup there and try to figure a way to beat thing." As Dusty went to answer, the monster landed on the hood of the 89' Chevy and began to rip the hood off." Oh fuck bail and meet me at the Wal-Mart we might get lucky there if not head to your place."

Both Dusty and Clark bailed form the car and rolled down the embankment. They had gotten to pevine but were stopped by a blockade in the middle of the road. A squad of police officers in riot gear prevented them from advancing towards Sneed so they went to the Wal-Mart to devise a battle plan. "God damn it! I'm sick of this shit. Every time this town starts to return to normal we get fucking attacked and have our world turned upside down. We need to kill that thing because I'm tired of living in fear of being the next victim in this town." Dusty was shaking with pure rage. He slowly began to regain control and started to devise a plan to end this madness and regain control of their quiet town.

As both of them headed to get a base to work from, Dusty recalled their plan. They would need to acquire four different caliber of guns and also some strong acids or chemicals. This would allow then to try to find a weakness and decimate this ghoulish creature. So they agreed to go to Wal-Mart and see if they could loot some shotguns and rifles. They had another four blocks to go when they heard another scream that made their skin crawl. This time they didn't turn around, but they quickened their pace reaching Wal-Mart a much sooner than they thought possible. Unfortunately the door was locked. "Dusty stay here. I'm going to go around the back. Try to pop the door off if u can otherwise meet me in the loading bay in twenty minutes. We will get those guns and kill that damn thing before it gets us."

Dusty nodded and began to yank the door off. By the time he got it off he realized he was 10 minutes late to meeting Clark in the back loading bay." Damn, I better meet him at the guns soon or he might take all the good gear." Dusty entered the deserted Wal-Mart and began to search for the sporting good department. As he walked by the meat section he began to wonder why there was a rotting smell. Curious in the source of the odor he began to search the area. To his horror he found a mound of rotting corpses that used to be citizens of Crossville. "Oh shit man, this ... this is horrible." Slowly he began to back away until he heard a labored breathing sound. He hoped that it was Clark out of breath so he tried to see if it was him. Unfortunately it was not to be. The creature from hell stood behind him with his scythe like arms rising to give the killing blow. Dusty lost all strength to his limbs and crumpled in fear of dying. Then a loud bang came from in front of him, at first he thought the fire extinguisher failed and exploded till he had a hand rest on his shoulder. He looked up with mournful eyes only to see Clark's face with a grin from ear to ear.

"I knew I should have stayed with you. Your always late or forget to even show. Least I found the guns." He went over to the pile of corpses and was filled with dread. "Man this is not right. Many of these people were my fiends before this demon was released from its eternal confinements. Well at least we have some weapons now to head to your place and see if your dad has any old army equipment that can give us a slight edge." They began their journey to Dusty's house and had to go to the next town to accomplish this task. Hopefully we aren't too late to save his parents. I just pray we make it in time to warn them of the impending doom that is rapidly approaching and is enclosing on the way of life we rely on.

Both of them had walked for thirty minutes before they were able to see Fairfield glade. With new found energy, they had begun to run at a speed they rarely achieved.

"Dusty, thanks for coming here to help me check on my family." Clark then noticed a small imprint in the dirt that he didn't recognize and soon began to panic. For even after all their effort and troubles they had endured they were to late the monstrosity had already unleashed it reign of terror upon the peaceful city.

"Clark what did you find?" but before dusty could get a response Clark ran into the woods trying to get to his house before he lost what was most dear to him.

Back in Crossville sheriffs and deputies began to form a headquarters to help strengthen the hold they acquired on this area. All of these men were aware that the monster comes here regularly and began to plan a way to kill it. From the shadows a man in a white lab coat watched as these poor mortals tried in vain to stop his creation. This man was Logan. He engineered a creature to be used in wars but in the genetic enhancement process the radioactive isotopes became too unstable. This created the beast from an eternal hell. He was unable to contain it in the test facility and with its enhanced speed, strength and its impermeable skin; it would soon destroy the entire town unless he could locate it. Thus the two boys were about to meet an unforeseen ally and create they perfect offence.

Logan begins to emerge from the confines of the shadows and calls to the officers. "Excuse me gentlemen, my name is Logan, I am a genetic scientist. I believe I can help you with your little problem here." The officers looked at him with distain in their eyes. Logan soon realized he was not wanted and began to patrol the town hoping to find someone to form a coalition with. After he spent many hours talking to pseudo allies he thought that this quaint little town's demise was eminent. Fortunately for him, he heard from one of the groups that two young men named Clark and Dusty were currently pursuing this demented beast in Fairfield Glade. With renewed vigor Logan ran to his van and began to search for these new allies.

As Clark approached his house he dropped to his knees to see that the front door had been broken into small fragments and blood was on the walls. Hope is lost; we can't kill something we never have a chance to defend from. Clark jumps when Dusty places his hand on his shoulder in a comforting gesture. Together they both dive into the newest victim's house. When Clark turned the corner he barely avoided the shot that came from a shotgun pointed at what would have been the monsters face. Dusty ran into the room with his rifle leveled to kill the attacked only to realize that Clark's father poised in the corner with the couch flipped on its side as a makeshift bunker.

"Clark? Is that really you?" Clark's father stood from his bunker and embraced his son in a hug. "Clark I'm so glad to see that you're safe. How did you guys make it all the way here? Every main road is blocked to prevent anyone from being caught in the open." He began to reload his gun.

"We are fine dad. Oh. By the way dusty this is my dad John. He was a former marine in the military." Dusty and john shook hands then all sat down once john flipped the couch back on its legs. "To answer your question dad we barely got here. After we went skating we headed to the ice cream shop only to be attacked by the creature not once but twice. After the first attack we raided the wal-mart to acquire some provisions."

"So in other words you both broke into the store and stole some of the guns that were left their by the previous owners. Am I correct on this or did you think I wouldn't notice you both packing heat." Dusty just laughed because he soon realized they had been found out. Clark looked ashamed though.

"I'm sorry dad but we needed some sort of protection from this demented being. It seemed like a good idea at the time." Clark just looked absolutely defeated by the thought of what he did and by the fact that his dad was able to deduce exactly what had gone through both of their minds just an hour before. When he had obtained enough courage to look his father in the eyes he noticed his dad wasn't angry but wore a large smile on his face. He was now completely confused.

"Clark I'm glad you did what was needed for survival. Turns out you learned something from me after all. Now that we have that behind us let's plan on the next thing we should do. I have fended off this house twice and it gets harder each time."

All three of them began to plan out what to do next. They were in a deep conversation when they all quieted down for the sound of a working vehicle had renewed some hope for them all. As they exited the house Clark's father set a small package on the upper crowning of the door and just smiled. By the time the car was in sight they noticed that it had been attacked. Fearing that the only chance to get to a better facility had been destroyed; three of them began to search the surrounding area for a sigh of the newest victim. What didn't occur to them was the victim was still alive and was in the car watching their every move.

"Dad I don't see anyone over here and neither does Dusty. Maybe they were able to evade being attacked." As Clark searched the vehicle now a door flung open knocking him on his back. Before they were able to level their guns on the target a man in a white lab coat stepped out and just smiled.

"Are you boys Dusty and Clark? If so I have a proposition for you that may help you achieve what you desire at this dismal time."

The boys looked at each other with disbelief neither of them recognized this man but the man somehow had known that they both desire vengeance for all the deaths of friends to this damn monster. They both approached the man cautiously not sure to trust him completely yet.

"You boys are very hard to track down. When I heard you went to the Wal-Mart and acquired some weapons I realized you two planned on fighting this beast. So I began to search for you. Also tell you father Clark that the little explosive he rigged won't work against it. If anything he will only enrage it more."

Complete despair began to set over Clark. He hoped that he would be able to destroy the abomination alone but he would have to trust this complete stranger to aid him, Dusty, and Clark's father.
