The Mind Control Conspiracy

Chapter 11: The Rebellion

For Asbeoth

By Draconicon

Sean knew that his father would be expecting him back by morning, and he knew that Paul was going to be out all night. They were both creatures of habit, and while the former was more unpredictable than the latter, Sean knew that he had tired his father out enough with their...session...that there was no way that the older fox was going to be trying anything before morning.

He didn't have much time, but he'd have to make sure that it was enough.

The slender fox stood in the middle of the unlit park, his arms crossed over his chest, his eyes half-closed as he fought against the urge to sleep. There was a serious problem with that, considering that he had been put through the wringer as much as Aston had, and he doubted that he'd be awake still if it wasn't for the fact that he was furious. Nearly blind-furious, for that matter, though he was holding onto reason as much as he could.

He will pay...

The image of his brother in the gay bar, so different from the last time that he'd seen Paul, calling for muscular men only, refusing to see any fox, still burned in the back of his mind. He wanted nothing more than to rip his father apart for taking his brother from him, for taking everything that they had built up since he'd gained the glasses and getting rid of it. Their father had taken the one thing that he'd been fighting for and ripped it apart.

While the threat of sending Paul to the military would still keep Sean working for the deputy mayor, there was nothing keeping him loyal to his father anymore. Not even -

He shifted his weight and immediately flinched. The chastity cage that he now wore didn't make him feel better, though it did remind him of just how much...fun...he and his father had had just a few hours ago. The reminder that his business had been essentially frozen didn't make him feel better, either, though his traitorous libido rather enjoyed the feeling of something playing with him down there, teasing him, reminding him of...extreme things.

Sean shook his head, crossing his arms that much more tightly. Despite the darkness, he still wore his sunglasses, the lenses lit up from the inside and showing him the world in night vision. There was a clock down in the corner, and as he checked it, he shook his head. Jack was more than five minutes late, and he was starting to worry that something had happened.

I said an hour. Where the hell is he?

Once more, the fox spun in place, looking up and down the park pathways. There were a few other people out, a cocker spaniel that was out for a jog, a vixen that was making her way down another path with a John, and probably a few others that were past the trees. Yet, there was no sign of -

Oh, no, wait, there he was. Sean narrowed his eyes behind the sunglasses, watching as the stallion drove up to the far parking lot and hopped the fence into the park. The big horse was constantly flicking his head back and forth, obviously nervous.

Sean sighed. He had hoped that someone with this resistance would be better trained than this. It was rather embarrassing seeing someone being this obvious about how they expected to be followed, how paranoid they were about being seen.

He pulled his sunglasses off, adjusting to the darkness, and made his way down the trail. Being barefoot, being plugged, being caged all came flooding back to him, a reminder of stimulation as he walked down the gravel trail. Some of the little rocks pricked and poked at his bare feet, reminding him that his father saw him as little more than a fuck-toy, while the grasses that he occasionally stepped on rubbed between his toes rather pleasurably.

More than that, the metal plug in his hole constantly squelched against the loads that his dad had left inside of him, keeping them inside and leaving him feeling vaguely bloated. The sensation was not particularly pleasant, but he knew that it was going to continue for a while. He wasn't going to have the chance to pull the plug free anytime soon, and if he was unlucky, then his father would want to pull an inspection in the morning to make sure that it had all stayed where it was supposed to.

The most annoying thing about it, he had to admit, was the fact that his body liked it when his mind did not. His cock kept trying to rise, kept trying to push through the chastity cage around his sheath, but the mesh at the tip kept forcing the pointed end right back down where it belonged. He growled under his breath, trying to ignore the scent-marking that still burned bitterly through his fur.

As he walked up to the horse, Jack looked past him, then back at him. The horse jerked his head to the side, nodding towards a stand of trees, and they both altered their path towards it. Sean took it slow, as if he was just wandering over to take a leak, while Jack was quick and direct.

He seriously doesn't get the point about not attracting attention...how the hell did he keep up the shy guy role through college for this long?

He imagined that it was partially because Jack was still a bit of a prude when it came to sex, and that part wasn't as much of an act as everything else. At college, the horse only had to pretend to be oblivious to the different bits of mind control going on. Outside of that, he could be himself.

Hopefully, the rest of this little resistance group was better trained and outfitted than this ridiculousness.

They finally met up behind some of the trees, Sean putting on a more unconcerned face than he really felt. The metal plug rammed up his ass was still pulling, trying to drag itself out, and he knew better than to think that it would hold for long. Sooner or later, it was going to plop out, either in his pants or on the ground. He wasn't sure which would be better, but he put it out of his mind.

"Glad you finally showed up."

The horse opened his mouth, but Sean held up his hand.

"Save it. We're not here because we agree about how things are being run. You are here because you have connections, and I'm here because I'm pissed off."

"..."

"You may speak."

"What pissed you off?"

"My father."

"Why? Did he fuck you too hard?"

The fox narrowed his eyes, shaking his head.

"That's not the problem, and you don't need to know the problem. All you need to do is take me to someone that has the authority to promise me something."

"I...well, I'm not supposed to bring anyone anywhere without making sure that our leaders are alright with it. Besides, you said you wanted to hear my offer."

Sean had, but that had been more of a way to get the horse out to the park in the first place. He doubted that Jack would have shown up just for a bang, after all, and that would have been a hard sell to begin with. He crossed his arms again, looking up at the horse.

"Who's the one that has the info that you want?"

"...You are."

"Who's the one with the glasses?"

"You are."

"And who's the one that you tried to recruit earlier?"

"You know you are."

"Then why in the hell are you standing in my way?"

"Because...well, because you said no earlier. Who's to say that you haven't been conditioned to try and root us out?"

"Because I'm not using the glasses on you right now."

That had, and continued to be, a temptation. The glasses would probably work just fine on Jack from everything that he had gathered so far. The horse didn't seem to have any real resistance to them, and from what he'd seen at the college, Jack followed orders like everyone else once the glasses came out.

Then again, there might have been a bit of subterfuge there. If there was one thing that Jack would need to keep hidden more than anything else, it would be that he was immune to the glasses. Perhaps there was a little acting going on, after all...

Regardless, he tapped the pocket where the glasses were hidden, never taking his eyes off the horse.

"I am willing to give you some...help...but it's on my terms. Not yours."

"Sean...you know we need someone like you, but there's rules. I can't just..."

"Either you make the call to your boss right now, clearing me so that I can come and make my offer, or you leave. That's your choice. And then you can explain to your leader why you decided to destroy any chance of having someone like me help you out."

That was it. He was committed now, and if he had read the horse wrong, then he was going to lose the help of the only group that might have a chance of getting revenge on Aston. There was no going back no, no way of retracting the threat without looking weak and making any subsequent demand that much harder to make. If he bowed now, if he took back the threat, then the resistance would know that he was willing to bend and break his word, that he was willing to back down when someone was able to stand up to him.

He had to hold onto this. If he didn't...

Jack stared at him, the horse's mouth opening and closing, his hands gesturing around him like he was trying to come up with a good argument. He was the epitome of frantic movement, while Sean was the embodiment of calm.

I will not make a mistake. You will not be able to push me into making a mistake. I will not show my fear. I will not show my anger. I am cool, composed, collected.

Finally, the horse reached into his pocket, pulling out a cell phone. He shook his head, muttering under his breath as he touched the screen a few times. The glass went black, no numbers, no names, but the ringing of a dial tone had finally caught the fox's ears.

It picked up a second later, and a distorted voice came through.

" What is it?"

"I'm here with the recruit, but he's wanting to come in now."

" That's not possible."

"He says that he either comes in now, or he doesn't come in at all."

" ...Does he have the file?"

Sean gestured to the pocket again for Jack's benefit.

"Not physically, but I think he has an image of it."

" That'll do. Bring him via the back way."

Click.

The line went dead, and the phone beeped twice before Jack put it away. He shook his head, looking down at Sean.

"I think this is a horrible idea."

"Everyone thinks everything is a bad idea until it works. Now. Car?"

"...Fine. Come on."

"You'll get road head. Calm down."

They took the back road, alright. It was a bumpy country road that took them out of the city and into the darkness of the rural areas. Sean wasn't most keen on it, but he admitted that it was probably the best way to keep anyone from spotting them as they made their way to their destination.

He was true to his word, too, pulling Jack's cock out of his pants and giving it a good suck for the majority of the drive. He would pull back when they hit particularly rocky parts of the road, as he wasn't going to choke himself or give himself whiplash from the up and down motions, but he did suck that fat dick for nearly half an hour.

By the time that Jack started to slow down, he had been edging the horse for almost the last ten minutes, keeping him right on the edge and making sure that he dripped like mad. The fox pulled back as they dropped below ten miles an hour, squeezing around Jack's medial ring as he looked over the dash.

They were on approach to a farmhouse, one that was barely visible at the end of a long driveway. No barn, no fences, just a house out in the middle of nowhere. Not what he wanted to see, but he supposed that the resistance wasn't just going to be staying in a hotel somewhere. They'd be taken out too easily.

"Mmmph...come on..."

Jack's free hand came off the wheel and rested against the top of his head, very obviously trying to get a bit more sucking in. Sean rolled his eyes, leaning down and lapping his tongue around the horse's flare. It was a soft, spongy part of the shaft, easily compressed when he pressed his tongue against it more fully. The big thing had been making a mark on the inside of his throat, and thankfully, the pre-cum that had been dribbling out - both into his mouth and into his hands - had done a good job at getting rid of the worst of the piss smell that had been lingering.

Knowing that Jack wouldn't be able to think of much while he was still hard, Sean bobbed his head all the way down the shaft. He took the flared head, the medial ring, and all the way down to the bottom, right to the base. He kissed it softly, and swallowed.

That was all he needed to get Jack off. The car wobbled from side to side in worrying fashion, and if they had been going any faster, they likely would have gone screeching off the road as the horse came.

And came.

And came some more, the flood continuing as Sean kept on swallowing, feeling each burst of cum against the back of his throat and knowing that there'd be more by the end of the night. Jack was not one of those one and done sort of clients, even though it could take a ton of effort to get him ready for a second round of anal. When it came to oral, he never seemed to run out of steam.

Finally, the waves of warmth rushing down his throat came to an end, and the fox was able to pull back. He wiped his mouth on his arm, slid over to the passenger seat, and kicked the door open. The fox had barely made his way out before he heard the click of a gun being pulled and cocked.

Well...I suppose I should have expected that.

Sean lifted his hands above his head as Jack got out the other side of the car, feeling someone grab him by one wrist. He didn't resist as one hand, then the other was pulled behind him, and kept himself loose and relaxed even as those hands started roaming around his hips and pockets, checking everything as they went.

"Hey, easy, Mark. He's not got anything."

"Yeah? What's that in his pocket?" a gruff voice muttered in his ear.

"Probably the stolen glasses. Careful with those."

"Ugh. This is a bad idea, Jack. You should have waited."

"Boss cleared it. Now, you going to cuff him, or are you going to let him have his hands free?"

"Hmmph..."

"I've got a pair of cuffs in an inside pocket," Sean said, shrugging. "If it'd make you feel more comfortable."

"...You need to stop bringing whores back here, Jack. Unless you want to share."

There was a weak laugh from the horse, but Sean could tell that the stallion wasn't entirely happy about how this was going. Then again, neither was he, but he doubted that mattered much when he was dealing with a group of rebels that thought they had a chance against the entire Federation.

He maintained his professionalism, however, allowing himself to be groped and searched. He was right on the verge of being strip-searched when Jack pointed out that they were still in the open where people could see them, suggesting that they move out of the way. At least behind the farmhouse, where people on the road wouldn't be able to see people just waiting.

More common sense than I would have guessed he had, Sean thought, but he didn't say anything as he was pushed along, not wanting to push the trigger-happy Mark that was still grinding a gun against the base of his spine.

It didn't take long to get to the other side of the house, and less time than that for a secret basement door to be unveiled. Hidden under a cow-hide that looked almost like a dead cow might actually appear, it was as dusty as the earth around it and hard to see in the dark. The fox nodded in approval, glad to see that someone, at least, had put a little effort into making things harder to find.

There was no ladder, only a drop, and he was made to drop with his hands still pulled behind his back. Sean landed with a grunt, and finally turned around to get a look at the guy that'd been holding a gun on him all this time.

It was a vulture, which he supposed was no surprise. The bird dropped down, black feathers flaring like a cape, and he stood up with all the long, lanky menace that the species was known for. With a long pink neck and a beak that clicked with a sharp finality, Mark picked up his gun again, holding the pistol trained firmly on the fox.

"Keep moving. And no funny business."

"You know, it's less intimidating when you use cliché lines like that."

"I said, keep moving."

"You see, that's better."

Surprisingly, the tunnel didn't go under the house, but rather in the complete opposite direction, heading down beneath the driveway. At several points, Sean saw some red lights in the ceiling, and he wondered if there were explosives hidden there to bring the driveway down if people came to visit. He wouldn't be surprised. Or rather, he'd be surprised if someone was that competent. It was a good idea, and aside from this tunnel, this group didn't seem to have a lot of those.

He wasn't sure how far they went, but it had to be at least a half mile of twists and turns before they finally came to a locked door. The thick sheet of metal had a sliding hole in the top, and it pulled open as they approached, a pair of golden eyes looking through.

"Who's the fox?" another growling voice said.

"He's with me," Jack responded. "He's got something for Samuel."

Samuel. That was a name that he hadn't heard yet. Probably one of the leaders that he had been brought to talk to. He stored it away for now.

The voice growled again, obviously not happy with the answer, but there was no further argument. Instead, the door slowly swung open, and...

Well, it was a little disappointing when one got down to it. Rather than being some technologically advanced operating center, or some war room where people were gathering around to plot out raids, or some warren of tunnels that would lead to dangerous traps, it was just a single chamber with a series of seats and one raised stage at the end. There weren't even that many people in the room, perhaps a half-dozen, with one older jackal standing at the far end looking them over.

As Mark marched him in over Jack's objections, Sean made sure to keep his hands behind his back as if he was really restrained. The way that they were all staring at him made it clear that they hadn't been informed of a guest, and most of them looked a bit on the rough side. Despite the nicer clothes that they were wearing - probably something that Jack had contributed, given his money - they were still ungroomed, looking like they had been underground for at least a few days, if not more. They didn't quite glare at him, but the snorts from their noses and the way that they were obviously holding back told him that it would be best to keep quiet.

Finally, he was made to stop before the stage, where the jackal could look at him. The older male was probably in his late forties, maybe his early fifties, and one of his eyes was at least half-blind. He cocked his head to the side.

"You would be Sean, then."

"That's me."

"The one with the information?"

"Yes."

"Where is it?"

"Well, it'd be easier if you let me reach for my pocket...Can you tell Mark there to not shoot me for a minute?"

"...Put the gun down, Mark."

The vulture grunted in disapproval, but he did put it away. Sean shook his head as he pulled his hands out from behind him, sliding his fingers into his pocket. He held up his hand as a gesture that he wasn't doing anything stupid, and slowly pulled the sunglasses out.

The room erupted in a series of gasps, most of the resistance pulling back and scooting away from him. Mark started to raise his gun again, but Sean saw Jack stop him. The fox nodded, holding the glasses between his fingers as he flicked the ends open.

"What is the meaning of this?" the jackal asked, not angrily, but in a very controlled, 'I'm not being angry right now' voice. "I thought you had information."

"A picture of the information. Stored here."

"How did you -"

"I have connections. More to the point, I have information that you can use, and a file that you can produce that'll take down a number of city officials...if you're willing to work with me."

"Extortion," Mark growled.

"Bargaining," Sean clarified over his shoulder before glancing up at the jackal again. "I'm guessing that you started this because of that eye of yours...half the eyes, half the control over your brain, right?"

"..."

"Let's say that I'm right," the fox said, tapping the frame of the glasses against his palm. "That means that you were able to fight that control every time that someone stared into your eyes. You learned you couldn't stop it, so you pretended you were under control so that you could learn what was going on. Then, you decided that you couldn't live under a system that controlled everyone around you, so you started this little..." He looked around, spinning a finger. "Whatever you call this...resistance club."

"You think this is funny?" one of the crowd muttered. "Do you know what we've been through?"

"Do you think I care? Because I don't."

"Then why are you here?" the jackal asked.

Shaking his head, Sean looked down at the glasses. The anger from earlier that night still burned in the back of his head, though it didn't blaze quite so high in his heart anymore. No, time had chilled it, made it cold and sharp. He gritted his teeth for a moment, his lip rising, then falling again as he tapped the glasses against his palm once more.

"I want revenge. And I'm willing to help as long as I get it."

"..."

"Otherwise, I'll walk out of here right now...or, if you think that you can stop me, you can shoot me. These things aren't any use to anyone besides me; they're keyed to my biosignature." I think. I hope. He had nothing to back that up, but he was sure that his father was just that paranoid. "Shoot me, and you have a body to get rid of, and a missing pair of glasses to explain. Work with me, and I promise...you'll be able to make your statement."

"I'll vouch for him," Jack said, and Sean was surprised to find the horse standing beside him. "I've...worked with him before. He's been on this kick for a long time, now. He wants to see them brought down just as much as we do."

Them. Sean barely suppressed a laugh at that. He didn't care about them. He cared about saving Paul, and he cared about punishing his father. That was it. That was fucking it. Anything that happened around that was just incidental, something that didn't matter to him in the slightest. As long as he got what he wanted, that was all that mattered.

He glanced back at the jackal, waiting for a decision. The canine looked between him and Jack, tapping his chin with one hand. The silence stretched on, and he swore that Mark was glaring a hole in the back of his neck.

Finally, Samuel nodded.

"I'm risking much...but you understand. I will do what I can to help."

"That'll do. For now."

It was almost three in the morning when they left the farmhouse. Jack joined him in the car once more, and they turned onto the main road, leaving the farmhouse behind. The horse had one hand on his crotch, the other on the wheel, almost like he was hoping for a repeat of the road head, but Sean wasn't in the mood, nor was the horse paying.

Instead, his mind was back on the meeting, running through the terms. They were simple enough: he gave Jack the information, the resistance would use it, and they'd be waiting for his call when the time came. They'd seemed surprised that he was willing to ask for so little, but he made it clear. This was a favor. Not an agreement to wage war on their behalf, but a trade of a favor for a favor. He was giving them this one, and they would give him one in the future. If they ever wanted more, they'd owe him another favor.

And he planned to amass a lot of favors. They were going to be useful whether they wanted to or not.

First, get Paul somewhere isolated. The moment that he's not a factor, father loses most of his leverage over me. Then I can figure out how to handle him...

It wasn't a foolproof plan, but it was one that would give him time. The moment that Aston lost the ability to follow through on the threat to send Paul to the military, the power balance between them would start to shift. He would have time to make demands of his own, push his own agenda. The cold war wouldn't remain cold for long.

They pulled up to his house some time later, and he hopped out of the car. His bare feet pressed against the pavement, feeling the coolness that came from the night leeching the heat from everything. Jack got out, too.

"Where's the file?"

"Inside," he said. "If you'll wait outside my window, I'll get it to you."

As the stallion nodded, Sean walked back into the house. He remembered exactly where he'd hidden it, and as he expected, Paul hadn't come back from his particular bender just yet. His brother would be out having fun for the rest of the night, probably coming back shortly after sunrise in a taxi or something. It was amazing that this had never been...reported...

Sean paused as he reached under his brother's mattress, cocking his head to the side. Paul had always been whoring, but that had never gotten into the papers. Part of that was probably excused by a standing order from his dad to not publish anything about Paul as a general rule, but that wouldn't cover everything. Nor would it keep his father informed of everything that the elder son was doing with his life.

He's watching Paul...

Which meant that there was no easy way for the resistance to grab him just yet. He'd need to find a way to get Paul somewhere out of sight of the watchers, then call the resistance in. Otherwise, he'd just be unveiling his new allies, and then he'd be in all sorts of shit.

It took every bit of willpower not to punch his brother's bed. He knew that if he started, he'd throw a fit that would wake his father up, and more to the point, it wouldn't let him think clearly until morning. He needed to keep his mind clear, or...

Well, he needed to keep his mind clear.

He gripped the folder tightly, opening it to give it one more scan with his glasses and save the image away. Once that was done, he returned to his bedroom, and was completely unsurprised to find Jack waiting at the window.

"You got it?"

"Here."

Passing the file folder through the window, he sat on the bed as Jack flipped through it. Unsurprisingly, the plans about taking entire sections of the population and rendering them more mind-slaved than they already were had the horse's eyes going wide. The more he flicked through it, the shakier the stallion got.

"This...this is..."

"Pretty horrible."

"And you were just going to sit on this?"

Sean shrugged. Jack slapped the folder shut, whirling on him -

"I wouldn't shout," Sean reminded him. "It is late, and my father's not that heavy a sleeper."

"...Why the hell wouldn't you tell someone about this?"

"Because it won't matter in the long run," he said, shrugging. "And because it doesn't give me any advantage in the short run."

"Advantage? What the hell does that matter?"

"Because this is the long game, Jack," Sean said, looking down at his hands as he spoke. "Without war or weapons, we're limited to playing their game. They set the rules, they have the power, and so we have to play it smart. We can't just 'do the right thing.' We can't just 'stop the bad people.' We have to play the game until we can start changing it."

"That'll take too long."

"Yes. It would. But if we did it your way, you'd be caught in less than a week and turned to their side for real, and then where would we be?"

Though he wasn't looking at his long-time client, he knew that Jack was glaring at him, fumbling for an explanation, an idea, a reason for why he was wrong. Of course, he wasn't; the fox had thought this through again and again, trying to think of a way to get around dealing with his father, playing by other rules, but there wasn't one.

Those with the power set the rules. Those that wanted power had to play by those rules, finding the loopholes, jumping through any hopes that were put before them until they had a big enough stake to start changing the rules for their benefits. Without overwhelming force - which they most definitely did not have - they had to be of an order of magnitude smarter than their opponent to do what they wanted.

Sean was. He didn't know about Samuel, and he knew that Jack wasn't. Jack wanted things changed now. He wanted to make things right.

And if he followed those instincts, he'd ruin it for all of them. Sean just had to hope that Samuel would keep the horse on a leash, keeping him from doing anything stupid.

"You better get going," Sean said, staring down at his hands still. "You're going to be caught if you linger for too much longer."

"...Why are you even doing this much? Seriously?"

"Because I hate my father, and because I need to save someone else."

"Must be pretty important to you."

"More important than you know. Now get out of here."

The End
