Chris arrived home and sprinted towards his bedroom and opened the door to find a badger smoking in his room.

"Hello Chris, I've been expecting you" The badger said.

"Who are you? And why are you in my room?" Chris asked the badger.

"I believe you already know me, you have been very hard to contact like us, but we knew you were always listening in. Especially on my conversation with Grace, though luckily we won't be having any more conversations left" She said as she dropped the smashed up phone of Grace, a switch blade that had some blood on it, and some brown fur similar to that of an otter.

"We did not kill her if that's what you are thinking, but she is in the hospital right now and is recovering from a rather painful wound. I assume you do not want to face the same fate, no?" She said.

"No" Chris said.

"Good, then my only request is that you will not mess with us since we have much more resources than you think, and more time than you will have." She said.

"Why are you doing this? If you wanted to gain profit then you would have done it silently, even if you wanted to take them down you would have already done so" Chris said.

"The answer to that question is simple, you hack technology, we hack furs" she said.

"What do you mean?" Chris asked.

"You use technology as a weapon, it has enveloped so much of our lives that once you have been able to fully master it, you have control of people's lives. We on the other hand use it as a tool, rather than trying to change the world by changing technology, we change the world by using technology to change furs or governments, you hack technology, we hack people. This is why I am known as madam corrupter, I corrupt people by enticing them into having more power to corrupt them, but only show that we are the ones in control when they are past the point of no return." She said as she lighted up her second cigarette.

"Why are you telling me this then?" Chris asked.

"You really have a way with questions, always wanting an answer so that you can satisfy that annoying thought in your head to know more" madam corrupter said.

"Answer the question" Chris said.

"Very well, the reason why I am doing this is because we want to warn you of what will happen when you mess with us, don't think that we are not aware. I hope you change your decision when I leave" She said as she went out of the room and dropping the cigarette on the floor.

"How was the talk with the teacher Chris? She said that she wanted to see you to discuss a new project that you might have troubles in" Chris' father said.

"It was fine" Chris lied, he went to his room when he was finished with dinner. He packed up his stuff in hopes that he would be able to forget the incident being with Mike.

Chris leaved to Mike's house which Mike had sent a link to, he went to the house which looked like any ordinary house and rang the door bell, after waiting for a few seconds Mike answers the door.

"Hi Chris!" Mike said cheerfully, he had that same smile that made Chris began to smile.

"Hi Mike" Chris replied, already forgeting the encounter with madam corrupter.

"Let's go to may room" Mike said as Chris followed him up the stairs to him room. Chris entered Mike's room which looked fairly simple. It had only a single bed with a desk beside it, there was a laptop on the desk and a charger for both Mike's phone and his laptop with them being the only technology he had, there was no desk setup, no smart devices, no headphones, no monitor or anything besides his phone and laptop.

Chris found this setup very different than his own setup which was a desktop gaming rig, two raspberry pi's, a triple monitor setup and a panasonic toughbook as his laptop. His setup stood in stark contrast and Chris wondered how Mike was able to get by with just a phone and a laptop.

"You look a bit surprised" Mike said as Chris was just standing there.

"Oh sorry, I'm just surprised that you only have a laptop and phone since I'm quite used to using a desktop setup" Chris replied.

"Ah, I really only need to use either my laptop or my phone for hacking since my laptop has enough performance for me and I often hack on my phone, so I don't really need to have a desktop" Mike replied.

"Oh, I guess that makes sense" Chris said as he sat down beside Mike on his bed.

"Yeah, are you ok? You look more nervous than usual" Mike said as he noticed that Chris' hand was shaking and that he was sweating a little.

"I'm ok" Chris said as he and Mike got ready to sleep.

Chris went to shower and when he was showering Mike had taken Chris' phone and checked wether the fingerprint scanner still and his fingerprint on it. He found the fingerprint and used some white powder to get an outline that he took a photo with his phone, he made a 3D print of it and used some plasticine to replicate his fingerprint to unlock his phone. Mike then checked through Chris' phone and found an app called DS file which accessed Chris' private server that stored his private files. Mike found a folder called Journal and downloaded it and then sent the folder to his own phone, Mike turned Chris' phone off and opened the folder to check the .txt files which was Chris' journal.

"He actually likes me" Mike said in awe, Mike also had a crush on Chris but was too afraid to tell him in fear that he may not have the same feelings towards him. Mike heard Chris coming out of the shower and put his phone away to ask him a question that he was longing to ask since the day he met Chris.

"Hi Chris" Mike said smiling.

"Hi Mike" Chris replied.

"Can I ask you something Chris?" Mike asked.

"Um, sure" Chris replied as he sat beside Mike to get ready to sleep.

"Do you have feelings for me?" Mike asked.

"N-No, why do you ask that?" Chris said as he thought that he never showed any signs of his crush on Mike.

"Becasue I also have feelings towards you" Mike said.

"W-what?" Chris asked in disbelief, his crush, the person who he had tried to hack and got caught for it, actually likes him back?

"Wait" Chris realised.

"How do you know I have feeling towards you? You said also and I definitely did not show any feelings towards you" Chris stated.

"Well, umm, I kinda hacked your phone to see your journeling" Mike said as he was pretty much caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

"You hacked me because you had feelings for me and wanted to know wether I'd like you back?" Chris asked.

"Yes" Mike said who was shatring to blush a little under his fur.

"Oh, well I guess you know that I like you too" Chris said.

"Yeah" Mike replied.

"Could we um, be boyfriends?" Mike asked nervously.

"yes, I would love to be your boyfriend" Chris said as he kissed Mike, Mike was not expecting this and sat there wide-eyed, but started to enjoy the feeling of it after a while. After what seemed like an eternity of kissing they finally broke it.

"Wow, I really liked that" Chris said.

"Me too" Mike said as they both cuddled together after that with Chris falling asleep in Mike's arms.
