#5 of The Red Princess and Her Trooper Season One

This is a filler episode as we speak, sorry for the long wait. We will try our best to roll out the next chapter faster than this one, this gives us a more in depth of the situation at hand. The quality of the chapters will get better as the story progresses, count on it ;), also the fucking weird formatting this site has is just dumb, if anybody can help with this that'll be super great! (Those who help might get cameos~I mean special services ahem)

The Imperial's sudden intrusion into Siania had caused worldwide outrage, citizens begged the government to tell them if these aliens were here to bring their lives to an end. Fortunately most of them asked if they were here by accident and are simply seeking refuge from conflict. Ayn was a bit shaken up from the event that unfolded, almost seeing a large foreign spaceship collide with her home that could cause severe damage and multiple casualties. Thankfully the gods and goddesses had spared Siania from experiencing such a horrific accident. She too wonders as to why these aliens were here, from what she has heard they seem to have been fleeing from a battle they could not win. The princess was currently inside the palace's infirmary, checking on the injured personnel to see if everybody is doing well. "Do not worry princess...*cough cough* I'll be back on my feet in no time." Eshe spoke weakly with a dry throat on an infirmary bed, she had suffered multiple injuries to the lower half of her body, including a broken leg. Sadly there was no room in the turbo lift for Eshe, and she was unable to make it to another one in time. This forced her to take cover in one of the hallways, which unfortunately collapsed on her as she tried to avoid falling debris from the ceiling. Ayn held her hand and rubbed it reassuringly, "I'm sure you will Eshe, you've always been there for me ever since when I was a pup. Now I will return the favor." the princess spoke soothingly into her maid's ear. Kissing Eshe on the forehead, the older jackal giving off a satisfied sigh as she closed her eyes to get some sleep. Ayn smiles and grabs a nearby blanket to keep Eshe warm, placing a cup of water on the bedside table for her to drink when she wakes up. Leaving Eshe to be as a paramedic comes in to monitor her, she notices her mother in the hallway already dressed up and ready to head out. "Mother! Take me with you. I want to see these aliens for myself as well." she pleads to her mother, "Alright, but I'm going to be discussing with their leader for the entire meeting. You are to not say a word unless spoken to." Kesis tells her daughter with a strict tone. All Ayn could do was nod and obey her mother, as it was the only chance to truly see what these aliens are up to.

** 1 Hour Later, the meeting begins**

Queen Kesis introduces her four colleagues, "Here on my right are the two head politicians Alice Zagitova and Logan Safar, on my left is head priest Artic Sur and head priestess Alya Nazari." The admiral waved with his uninjured arm, greeting the two parties that will be joining this meeting. "If I may ask where are we in the galaxy, what system or region specifically? We need to get back to Coruscant as soon as possible." The queen and her colleagues look at each other confused as to what the alien's leader had asked and answered back, "You are in the Rishan Galaxy, or more precisely in the Sianian system. Answer our questions and we can do our best to help you get back to where you need to go. We want to know more about your sudden intrusion into our system." the queen answers. Reg flags were going up in Cadelle's mind, the fact that she mentioned a different galaxy and didn't recognize the galactic capital meant something was very wrong. For now, all Caddell could do was comply, help from the inhabitants was the only possibility to leave this planet and system if there was even a chance of getting back. After swallowing and doing his best to calm himself Cadelle gave a nod. "So...Admiral Caddell was it? Could you tell us the exact reason as to why you and your force jumped into our system?" Queen Kesis asks the human officer. Caddell knew military matters were not to be discussed with anyone outside the GAR and attempted a vague description. "Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we have been forced to enter your system unannounced." However, the queen wanted to know more and asked again "What unforeseen circumstances?" The queen stood there with her uncompromising demeanor, Caddell took notice of this and thought it best to share it anyway since it might compromise the safety of his men and sharing the information might gain them some help, "We were sent by our superiors to track down a separatist holdout. We gathered up a force large enough to capture a planet. However, one of my 'colleagues' overestimated the defending force and caused a disaster that cost many of my men's lives. Multiple fighter pilots and clone troopers including half of our fleet was lost. Right now most of the fleet is in desperate need of repair and only most of our ground forces are armed and awaiting further instructions." The queen and her colleagues were confused when they heard the word separatist, it wasn't one of the empires that they were at war with at least. It sounded alien to them, but Kesis nodded and took note of it, she then turned to the politicians to let them ask any questions they had.

One of the politicians then asked "We notice that your troops all share the same face and physique according to our military advisors on site. Are they...clones?", "Indeed they are, they all share the same genetics. Cloned from a certain individual but genetically modified and more obedient, they are the greatest soldiers I have the honor of working alongside. Since the start of the clone wars, the clone troopers have been through hell and back. Loyal to their superiors and are willing to sacrifice everything for peace." Caddell announced with a sense of pride in his tone. This surprised Queen Kesis a little bit, seeing how proud this admiral talks about these clone troopers. However the priests immediately challenged the admiral's pride in his troops by asking him about the ethics behind it, "Cloning a certain individual is fine, however, it seems like they were not given a choice to fight or not. Modifying their genetic structure to make them less obedient limits their free will as well. Wouldn't that be just almost like a slave army?" asked Alya. "Unfortunately, yes they are essentially slaves to their creators, however, I see every single soldier as a valued individual that is capable of being more than just an expendable clone." Caddell answered calmly. Everyone but Logan frowned at this information, clearly not satisfied with the answer. "What do you know, High Priest. All you do is answer the ethical issues when it suits you and isn't related to your ethical violations. Do you realize if we collaborate with their soldiers, they could provide our military with strength beyond our limits?" Logan lashes out at priestess Alya. "Unlike you dirty politicians, we don't crave for such power. The gods would forbid such vile thoughts to corrupt this society as it already is thanks to you." Priest Artic retorted. "Yet here you are enjoying a seat next to the queen not because you were elected by the people, but rather you were selected by the clergy to be the next high priest. You claim to not crave power yet you constantly push the queen to enact policy beneficial to yourself and the clergy while living a lavish lifestyle." Alice replied. Thus began a verbal argument between the priests and the politicians. Cadelle took notice of how the Sianian's society split power between the monarch, priests, and politicians. It seemed unstable, which meant social unrest might be high right now. Cadelle didn't enjoy playing politics, but was very observant due to his job and said trait always proved useful to him. Queen Kesis grew tired of the arguing and quickly dispersed the verbal argument with a loud "ENOUGH" that even threw the admiral off by surprise a little. The two parties immediately ceased arguing and stayed silent, waiting for her to speak. "Admiral, I think it would be best if you further elaborated on who these separatists are and why you are fighting them."

After taking a deep breath the Admiral asked for the Sianians to bring up a map of the galaxy. Once the orange holographic projection was displayed on top of the table, the Admiral wiped his hand down his face to rest on his chin while letting out a strained breath. The queen took notice of this, "Is something wrong Admiral?" Taking a deep breath, Cadelle brought his hand away from his face so he could speak clearly. "Oh, nothing. It's just that you confirmed me and my men are now in a different galaxy." All the sianian's eyes in the room went wide. "How is that possible?!" Alice asked. "I don't know, it is not because we have the technological advancement to do so, we simply appeared here for no discernible reason." Cadelle answered. "Do you at least have an educated guess?" the queen asked. "We were right on the border between the Unknown Regions and the known galaxy, the Unknown Regions are infamous in that ships that go there constantly disappear so perhaps some sort of unknown phenomena landed us here, anyways I suppose I should give a brief summary of recent galactic history about my galaxy." After clearing his throat, Cadelle began explaining the events of recent galactic history the best he could, from how the republic was structured, to the clone wars, the Jedi, clone army, and the rise of the empire. The priests showed interest in his mentions of the force and Jedi while Kesis and the politicians were deeply troubled by the events at the end of the war. "This information is very enlightening and changes a lot, but there are several very troubling details and there is still the question of what happens now." the queen commented. Cadelle mostly agreed with the queen's statement. While he tried to push Palpatine's rise to power out of what he could question due to his personal preference to stay out of politics and his desire to simply have everything done with, he couldn't deny that it was alarming at the least. "I do see that the creation of the empire I now serve raises many red flags, but as an Admiral, it is not my duty to be involved in politics. As for what we will do now, I suppose all I can do is attempt to find a way back to my galaxy."

Knowing that unrest on Siana was rising, that rival forces were gaining power, and that keeping these new arrivals close would help uncover more, the queen came up with a proposal. "I am afraid there is no known way to traverse galaxies and even if there was, your ships require repairs and refueling." Cadelle knew the queen was about to make an offer to gain something she wanted, given her facial expression that showed off empathy yet confidence and a desire for something at the same time. "What do you propose?" The queen straightened herself and answered, "If you would like, I, could offer you the opportunity to join the ranks of the Sianian military and become citizens of this planet." Cadelle didn't know what to think of the offer. It was a little strange she was offering this so soon, it could be either that there wasn't anywhere else for them to go or she had ulterior motives. Cadelle also knew it was wise to comparison shop before you buy, but his forces required urgent repair and they didn't know this galaxy. Was it considered a betrayal to swear allegiance to another sovereignty other than the one he was technically still under? Would the other officers and men even want this? "Your offer is flattering, but I will have to think about it for at least a few days before I can consider accepting it." A smile appeared on the queen's face, " Very well admiral, but in the meantime, we must discuss what you will give in exchange if you are to have your ships repaired and refueled by us. We will not ask anything for the treatment of your wounded, but for the ships, you would either have to give us something in return or accept my offer." Admiral Caddell knew the best option would be to grant the Sianians access to the ship's database as well as some of their technology. Of course, he would have to redact any sensitive military or state secrets and could only provide them with one of each vehicle. However, ship repairs are expensive and time-consuming so it was likely he would have to offer up more. There was only one thing that could possibly be a good trade for the repair of the fleet, Ronin Company and Ghost Squadron would work. Providing the royal family with beefed up security that even included a fighter squadron should be more than enough, especially given their elite social status. However, the clones risking their lives for a completely different sovereign and race seems a lot to ask for from Caddell's point of view, but it would only be temporary until they found a way back. "I can offer you access to our database and one of every vehicle and starfighter we have, along with a few blasters and other equipment including. The database contains a wealth of knowledge about our galaxy, though I will obviously have to redact any vital military secrets. I will also allow you to temporarily command my best company of troops and fighter squadron as well as two other clone companies on standby. Ghost Squadron and Ronin Company have exemplary records and achievements, no threat will be able to challenge your royal highness." The queen nodded at his offer and spoke, "So Admiral, these clone troopers you are offering to me, are they really as efficient as you claim them to be? We do have an event several days later that requires my family's presence and having extra security to ensure their safety would be a problem well taken care of. That's if your troopers are competent enough for the job that is." The Queen was clearly putting his troopers to the test, but Cadelle had no doubt the clones would outperform the sianian military. "I can assure you that they will exceed your expectations." The Queen nodded in agreement and asked Cadelle to step outside while she discussed matters with her colleagues.

Once Cadelle had stepped outside, head priestess Ayla was the first to break the silence, "Are we sure we want to take these clone troopers into our military so soon your majesty?" The queen showed no sign of uncertainty and maintained her calm and composed demeanor. "Yes, I'm sure, by keeping them close we would be better able to detect any deception and we do indeed require more security anyway." Logan replied, "The Queen is right, if we play our cards right we could gain a major boost to our military that would have little cost." While everyone agreed upon the Queen's proposal to Cadelle, there were still issues to be discussed, like what Cadelle had told them about his Galaxy's history. "I do not like this Palpatine character, his gradual accumulation of emergency powers and then declaring himself emperor suggests that he has a definitive lust for power and is corrupt to his very core, malicious and nefarious." stated Alice. "Yes, I have doubts this Jedi Order would betray the republic when they were essentially lap dogs for them and had served the republic for thousands of years. And what is more troubling is that the clones would just turn on their generals like that. Cadelle may not have shared as many details because he doesn't follow politics much as he says, but I can't help but feel as if there are important details he either won't say or refused to ask his superiors about." After a moment of thinking, Alice voiced a suggestion. "I think it would be prudent to have several full examinations of these clones before they enter into the ranks of our military. Not just standardized medical checks, but several extensive examinations. Besides the fact that they are a new species, it might help us to understand more about what to expect when they are under our service." The priests and Logan agreed. "If no one has any more proposals or questions I call this meeting adjourned. Now if you'll excuse me I have a press conference to address." The Queen stood up and left the conference room along with her colleagues, motioning one of her guards to get Cadelle who was waiting patiently outside to follow her.

Ayn was outside waiting for the entire duration of the meeting, she watched the reporters take pictures of the alien soldiers who were waiting outside for their superior. 'They all look the same, same height as well. They look so lifeless, are they robots? Tall as Nytro too probably, and they stand like statues...' the princess thought to herself. She then noticed her mother and the alien's leader standing outside the entrance, they then shook hands which indicated that her mother had made a deal with them. Reporters quickly took photos of the handshake and already questions were being asked, "Why are you here? What deal have you made with her highness? Are you seeking salvation?". Caddell ignored them as he instructed a clone trooper to relay some orders for the Dispatcher to come down to the army base along with one of the medical frigates. "Ayn, we are receiving new bodyguards that the kind man has offered to us, we will wait here to see them." Kesis told her daughter, to which she nodded and looked on as her mother walked to the platform where her speech will take place. As Kesis prepared to address the reporters, all cameras started rolling on the queen as she began her speech. "This is a worldwide announcement, our military has already made contact with the extraterrestrials and we have made negotiations regarding their stay on our world. They recently came from another galaxy we have not yet confirmed. However, I assure you that they have come in peace. Their officer in command has offered his finest troops as extra security detail for the royal family in exchange for repairs and refueling..." As Caddell was listening to the queen's speech, he noticed another canid dressed in a green sleeveless robe studying his troopers with a look of curiosity. Her red hair was dazzling and pretty, she also wore a tiara on her head. 'This might be the princess, golden tiara and a striking resemblance to the queen.' Caddell thought to himself, it would be better to introduce himself since his troopers would be under her command as well. Ayn noticed the leader of the aliens approaching her, making sure to keep composure at all times and taking a deep breath before facing him. "I assume you are the queen's daughter. Admiral Caddell at your service ...miss~?" asked the alien officer to which Ayn replied "Ayn, Miss Ayn. You can drop the formality, I don't care about it." Caddell nodded with a smile and extended for a handshake that was swiftly accepted by the rather shy princess. "I apologize on behalf of my fleet for causing you any disturbance when we crash-landed on your world and hope that your people are safe." says Caddell. " Some of us are injured but fortunately there were no casualties, and I accept your apology. There was nothing you could've done, from what I saw your ship was covered in flames when you made your descent." Caddell then turned to where her mother was giving her speech, "Your mother seems to be a very...stern ruler. However if I may critique, your society doesn't seem stable at this very moment." he commented. Ayn nodded in agreement and replied, "Yep, politics are pretty tedious to me. I just want to have my own freedom, but that's not going to happen as I will be queen at some point and having to do those speeches already bores me enough. I'm sure Siania will hold up for a few weeks at least." Caddell chuckled as she reminded him of when he was young, rebellious and allergic to responsibility. The reality is that duty would always catch up to them, it's just the matter of accepting it or not. Several moments passed, then everybody could hear a distant but growing roar of several approaching starships at the exact moment when the queen finished her speech and had answered several questions from the reporters. The people on the ground looked up to see a hulking starship floating above, the Dispatcher had arrived.

After a while as the area was cleared for the starship to land, the reporters quickly crowded around the landing area. Several sianian soldiers kept them in line as journalists took photos at the sight of the massive cruiser. The medical frigate and Ghost Squadron opted to land next to the Acclamator to begin unloading supplies while Queen Kesis and Princess Ayn along with the other representatives were escorted to where the side hangar of the ship was, ready to greet their new bodyguards. The ship touched down softly with a slight resistance as the ship was still very damaged from their previous battle with the separatist boarding ships, with the damaged hull being visible for all to see. Everybody could hear the rumbling of the hangar doors slowly opening, the ramp was being laid down and the sound of a faint marching noise was slowly growing louder and louder. In groups they came, in a formation, they marched down the ramp to greet the Sianians. Ayn gulped as she saw more groups of clones after another. Like an endless wave of androids coming out from a factory production line in Kal-Tag, the queen and her representatives were a bit surprised as to how disciplined the clones were. The clones stood in a uniform line, with each company standing behind each captain. "Attention!" the clone commander in charge yells, all the troopers stood on guard and saluted the queen. "Meet Cyclone, Phoenix and Frost Company. I took the chance to transport all your new troops onto the Dispatcher so that you may inspect your new bodyguards, your majesty." Caddell says to Queen Kesis who was observing the clone companies presented before her. "Yes, that is very kind of you. And where is the company that will be placed under my direct command?" she asks. Caddell gestured to the hangar again, to which the last company was making their way down the ramp. Right off the bat, everybody could notice three troopers in the middle that were bigger than the rest, also having a different set of armor compared to their more standard brethren. As they approached the designated area, Kesis could see that one out of three unique troopers was as tall as Symat. His hulking figure combined with his much more accessorized armor was eye-catching and intimidating especially when there was a tiger's roaring mouth printed on his helmet, she turned to Caddell to ask about this soldier. "Pardon me, Admiral. But these three troopers are not the same as the rest, they are bigger and taller. They look different too...are they clones as well?". Ayn also noticed that this soldier was significantly taller than the rest, he looked like he could be the leader of the company. However, the admiral quickly put an end to the princess's thoughts as he replied to her mother, "Oh no, they are human conscripts. However it would take more time to explain these particular three, I can give you a file report on each of them if you wish." The queen nodded, a bit intimidated by her new bodyguards. "Tell my respective companies that they will move to the royal palace in 4 hours and receive their medical examinations, the other companies will go to the nearest military base." Obeying her command, Cadelle informed the two assigned companies that they would have time to wind down and pack the necessary gear they will need for the next few weeks moving forward. As quickly as they had appeared, the clones scramble around to prepare for their stay on this planet. Some ran back to the ship to start loading the rest of the armory and equipment, while a company stayed by the Queen's side.

Inside the Dispatcher's main hangar, the clones were at a debate of whether to accept the offer this new Queen has given them. "We devoted our lives to the Emperor, there is no way we suddenly have to direct our allegiance to a completely different sovereign." argued a trooper. "But, if we don't comply with them. Then everyone is put at risk anyway and we may never go home." another responded. "We have our orders from our commander, this situation may not be covered by protocol so our commander's orders take precedent." says a clone sergeant. Ghost and his two brothers were observing the debate, "What do you think about it?" Jyn asked him. "Orders are orders, if it's the only way we are all going to get off this planet. Then we must follow them and protect this new Queen of ours." Ghost replied with a blunt tone. "They look like wookies...but just more.. civilized and groomed??" Ram commented as he was preparing a backpack full of utility such as grenades both lethal and stun. As the clones were discussing their new assignment, Ghost Squadron walked up to join in on packing up any supplies and to get to know the companies they would be working with. Ram was the first to notice them approaching, they were all dressed in black pilot suits while the squadron leader had what looked like scorch marks all over the left side of his armor and helmet. "Is that Ghost Squadron? Hey guys! Let's greet them." Ram says to his two brothers observing the debate. The three walked over to the leader, Ghost being the first to speak. The squadron leader obliged and responded in a somewhat robotic sounding voice. "I assume you are the leader of Ronin Company?" Ghost responded back "I'm flattered sir, but no I am Lieutenant ARC 3177. You must be Ghost Squadron's leader." "Yes, you can call me Commander Ryan. The ones packing up supplies behind me are the surviving members of my squadron. We took heavy losses during the ambush, and until we get back to Coruscant we are not going to be receiving any replacements. If there does end up being no way back...(sigh) then I suppose I will have to keep an eye out for any talented pilots." Ghost nodded and introduced his two comrades, "This is Sergeant Ram and Corporal Jyn, my two most trusted troopers. "Yes sir, trooper number designated CT-666, Jyn if you will sir." The trooper saluting the squadron leader." Ram then saluted the commander, "CT-1572, or Ram if you will sir." Ryan returned the salute to the two troopers and Ghost spoke again. "I am skeptical of this assignment, I'm not sure of the consequences that will unravel later on." Ryan took a hand to his chin, "Perhaps, but we don't have any other options here. And orders are orders." The three troopers agreed with his statement and turned toward where their brothers were still in a debate, "Alright lads! We'll talk about this later. Right now orders are given, so let's follow them. Start packing! You guys got 0040!" Ram shouted out to the troopers. The clones swiftly finished the conversation and continued to pack supplies for their stay on Siania.

Back at the palace, Queen Kesis was busy studying the Galactic history of the republic on a datapad Cadelle had given her. While not as valuable as information regarding new technology, history still provided great opportunity for comparison, a means to avoid mistakes made in the past, and more. Right now however, Kesis was more interested in finding out more about her newly acquired soldiers. The genetic template for the clone army seemed interesting, this Jango Fett seemed like a capable warrior and his heritage mentioned a group called Mandalorians. She made a note to look into them later. Her thoughts were interrupted as one of the palace servants informed her the clones would be moving into the palace barracks soon to tour their new grounds and receive medical examinations. For now most of the clones would have to reside in several storage rooms that had been temporarily converted into living quarters by moving in cots, footlockers, a few tables, and other small furniture. It would take a month or so to add on to the palace to accommodate two hundred more soldiers. Even if she only had them temporarily, she still planned on expanding security nonetheless. A servant disrupted her thoughts with a knock on the throne room's door, "Your highness, Captain Sturg is here to discuss your security plans." Kesis nodded and motioned for her guest to come in. A clone captain entered the throne room wearing a double sided pauldron with a kama, also attached to his helmet was a rangefinder, to Kesis it looked like an antenna. "Your majesty" The clone saluted his new superior, to which she returned the salute. "Captain, I assume your security plans are well thought of before coming to me?" The queen asked, "Our plans have already been thought through inside and out. With a total of 288 troopers, I suggest half would be stationed inside the palace in the temporary barracks. Which makes 144 troopers, we then split it into two platoons made up of 72 troopers. One of the two will remain inside the palace with 36 troopers taking the first watch for the week, then we would rotate them with the other 36 troopers waiting on standby, three specialised troopers will also be assigned personally to you and your family. I know just the men for that too." The Queen nodded to his plan and replied, "Very well captain, bring these troopers to me. I would like to inspect them if they are eligible for such a task." The captain nodded and hurried away, the queen waited in the throne room for the three clones that will guard her family with their lives.
