#2 of Coronation

Queen Leilu leaves the castle to take refuge in her heat. Will Rain accidentally stumble upon her? Probably.

Real proud of this, yo.

What a day!

Rain planted himself facefirst against his chamber doors. He went limp and let his weight part them like water through a canal. There in the doorway, he ended up in a heap of armor and scales.

Never before had Rain seen so much commotion at the castle. His mother had been correct about the kingdom's love for him. Life came to a standstill today while he was paraded around for the kingdom to see.Literally paraded. All the way down to the castle gate, through the city, and into the wheat fields. And that was just the beginning.

The events had moved at a glacial pace, and yet it was all a blur. Royalty from other lands had flown to witness his coronation. Kings and queens and princes and princesses, some from far away provinces, most of whom he'd never seen before. Only the gods knew how many paws he had shaken and how many times he'd said, 'nice to meet you, too'. The phrase had lost all meaning.

After lazily shutting the doors with his feet, he dragged himself across the floor, slowly shedding pieces of armor along the way. Bed. He must at least make it to bed...

* * *

Something poked poor Rain in the face. Something with teeth. Was he being eaten? He opened his eyes, but it was too dark to see. He spit fire on the brazier near his bed and watched as his attacker was revealed: his new crown. He'd rolled over on it. Apparently, he'd forgotten to take it off.

He rolled the other way in the dim firelight and was attacked by yet another object. A scroll this time, bearing his mother's regal seal. No doubt she'd left it on his bed sometime during his coronation. It never ended with her. He broke the seal and unfurled her near-perfect calligraphy.

-Dearest Rain,

I'm afraid I must leave immediately for Haven Spring Hall. By the time you read this, I will be consumed with my Heat.-

Often times, Rain wished his mother wasn't so blunt. He read on.

-I dare not interrupt your coronation to say farewell. I'm sorry to depart so unceremoniously, but nature waits for no dragon. It will be upon me in a matter of hours, I fear. I should return before month's end. Enjoy the festivities and be careful. You know how your mother worries.

P.S. Behave yourself while I'm gone. No females.

Mother-

Just the thought of Haven Spring Hall set his heart racing. Haven was a tiny province to the south, and dragonesses from all over the kingdom fled there to wait out their Heat. Rain used to fantasize about sneaking past the border and taking part in the wild, endless, dragoness orgy that hadn't stopped since its founding thousands of years ago. It was hard to imagine his mother like that in all her stoicism; buried among a heap of strange females, all out of their minds with lust and feeding off each other's Heat in the warm water.

That thought rooted itself deep in his hips and, despite the hour, he couldn't sleep now. He hopped out of bed and lit the rest of the braziers.

On the floor, a glittering trail of armor pieces led all the way to the door, crumpled in disarray. The sight was a little sad. He'd been too stubborn to admit this to his parents, but the armor was indeed comfortable. And beautiful. The metal itself was gold in color, and it complimented his blue scales. Etched with ornate designs, it made him look fierce and proud. Definitely form over function, but still. The least he could do was put it where it belonged.

One by one, he picked up each piece and strapped it respectfully to the rack. As he did, he imagined what his bedmates might think of it. He stepped back, looked at the gleaming golden belly, between the armored thighs, and wondered if it would only increase their desire for him.

Now, which one would he send for? Would the twins be keen on another romp so soon? And so late in the night?

No females.

Perhaps someone new? That lovely dragoness he'd seen in the markets...

No females.

Yes! The white one! Always wearing a green cape... He wished he knew her name. She was stunning!

No females.

Rain sighed to himself and hung his head. Would he honor his mother's wishes? Of course he would. He'd long since given up trying to lie to her. She always knew. His father, as well. He was an open book to the both of them.

Besides, by now they'd have told the guards not to let anyone into his chambers. So, what to do in the meantime? For months, not a single night had passed without a visit from a female, and his mother's recess at Haven Spring Hall would delay his new parent-approved lovemaking list even further. Using his paws simply wasn't enough anymore, not after the warmth of so many lovely girls. His mother mentioned the sage and her_devices_, but he'd rather peel off his own scales one by one than ask her for anything.

Before he knew why, he found himself on the balcony staring at the cloudless horizon. The stars looked so inviting. Perhaps a good, long flight would clear his mind. He nodded to himself. Something on that calm, cooling breeze told him this was the thing to do.

He perched at the edge and leapt into the night.

* * *

No other dragons were out in this wilderness sky, not after midnight, both to Rain's relief and dismay. The mood had hit him again in the air, and if he encountered a female, he wasn't sure he could restrain himself.

He knew he should turn around and try to get some more sleep, but he was quite restless, and he could've sworn something was drawing him south. The wind had carried him so easily and so very far without a single beat of his wings. It occurred to him that he was nearing Haven, perhaps ten leagues away. He would have to turn back soon.

Just as he passed over a thick grove of birches, he spotted something inside. A dark shape beneath the trees, standing out against their white bark. A dragon? Couldn't be! Not at this hour in the middle of nowhere. He swooped down for a closer look. His blood warmed as he saw the smooth scales of a female. Black. Curled up like she'd been hurt. He took care not to frighten her, landing softly on the moonlit grass. The moment he touched ground, she jolted and looked straight at him.

When he finally recognized her, his face was shot with bewilderment and fear. She was deep violet, not black. Her underside was the color of cherry blossoms. And he knew those piercing amber eyes.

While gliding down here, Rain had been rehearsing what to tell his mother, some clever lie to keep this strange female a secret. The more immediate problem was: the strange female in question happened to_be_ his mother. What in the world was she doing out here?

Then he smelled it. A cacophony of feelings and desires wrapped up in an irresistibly sweet feminine scent. Rain knew it well. Only one kind of activity could produce such an aroma.

And just like he'd suspected, a paw recoiled from between her legs, betraying the naughty thing she'd been doing. "Rain," she started in exasperation.

Both dragons remained frozen that way, looking distinctly nonplussed. Rain shut his eyes, but the image was still there, painted in his imagination. He waited for her to lash out at him. To scream and curse and tell him that he can't be here. That he shouldn't see this. But she didn't.

Finally, Rain spoke. "Are you okay?"

His mother blinked, the guilty paw trembling above her chest. "I didn't quite make it." She looked away in shame. "I left the castle too late. I thought I had more time. I've been so distracted with coronation business."

A sharp twinge of guilt stuck Rain in the chest. He certainly hadn't made things easy for her in that regard. If he'd known she would end up here because of it...

She looked back to him with slight worry. "But you mustn't blame yourself. I am responsible for my own body, and I should've felt this coming days ago. It's my fault."

Rain had never seen his mother so weak and exposed. Out here in the dark, all alone. Admitting fault. Frail. He didn't like it, and he couldn't leave her this way. "Let me fly you there. I could carry you. I'm strong enough," he said as he took a step forward.

"You know better. Males aren't allowed in the province."

The look in her eyes stopped him from moving any closer. "Surely they'll make an exception..."

"No, Rain," she growled as her paw slipped back downwards. "It's beyond kingdom law. The Haven guards attack approaching males indiscriminately. Even your father himself would be chased away at the border. They are well-trained and well-armed. And they have no sense of humor." She visibly fought to keep from masturbating in front of her son.

Bearing witness to such a thing, Rain began to shake along with her. He dared to take another step forward. He couldn't place it, but there was something off about the otherwise familiar scent of rich, wet female sex that permeated the grove. Something extra. Something rising high above the scent. Or perhaps far below it.

"You males are always looking for any excuse," she accused.

Rain tried to shake his head free of it. "What?"

"Haven Spring Hall must sound enticing. Hundreds of females in Heat... begging for the touch of a young, attractive boy dragon."

Sudden and pleasant warmth rushed into Rain's slit at those few words. It was indeed a common fantasy among males of all trades and dispositions.

"I know you think I'm your ticket in, but at your age, I suspect the scent alone would drive you mad." Her tone was somewhat motherly. "No, dear. It's best you stay far away from there."

"So, what should we do?"

A change. He saw it then. In her eyes. Just a flash, quicker than a shooting star. She smiled, but it was foreign. He didn't know this smile. Just like the smell, there was something buried behind it.

"You're very sweet to be concerned about me," she said, rising to her haunches. "Come sit here for a moment."

Rain didn't move, suddenly worried what effects she might be having on him. Dragonesses in Heat were an impossibly rare sight outside Haven, and he had no idea how to handle this. Perhaps it would be wise to err on the side of caution.

She had the voice of a siren. "It's alright. You can get closer."

No, he could not. Rain was beginning to understand why it was forbidden for a male to approach a female in Heat. Quite forbidden, indeed. And yet, his paws were moving, slowly treading the soft earth between them. The closer he got, the stronger it became. He sat beside her and followed her gaze upward to the moons. This close, it was so much more than a scent. It burrowed beneath his scales. Roiling and tumbling like a tornado. He felt himself hardening.

"I need a male," she blurted out. "I can't stand it. My body is screaming. This is shallow pleasure," she said, holding up the paw that had so recently been between her legs. It glistened with wetness in the moonlight. "I need something deeper."

Rain gulped. "Should I go tell Father?"

"The castle can never be without its king and queen both. Besides, by the time he arrived, it would be daybreak, and I'd rather not be alone just now."

It was obvious what she wanted. Wasn't it? Rain couldn't imagine what else she might be suggesting. At the very least, the Heat could excuse his mother's behavior in some small way, but why did_he_ suddenly want it, too? If the gods were real, he prayed they weren't watching him.

Queen Leilu looked down and smiled, eyes aglow with lust. "Is that for me?"

Rain didn't need to look. He could feel his full erection pulsing and dripping. Hiding it seemed pointless, but he still tried.

"No need to be bashful. I already had a rather close look this morning," she said as she admired the proud male form.

That she even remembered this morning was reassuring. Perhaps the Heat hadn't fully taken her mind. When Rain said nothing, she suddenly began advancing on him.

"I meant it, by the way," she cooed, placing a paw on his chest, "when I said it was above average."

The moment she touched him, something seemed to hum from there - a hot wash of shame and joy, guilt and childlike excitement. The thought of giving in had felt so distant, and now it was beginning to take on just a splash of color.

Her smooth paw drifted downward against his rougher male scales, dragging that tingling light with it. Their eyes met, and Rain saw the eyes of his mother. His mother who - were she in her right mind - would surely breathe fire down his throat for not resisting. In a moment of strength, he recoiled from her touch and backed away.

"We shouldn't," he said, wings spread and ready to fly.

She only smiled and began slowly closing the distance between them again. Confidence swam in those sultry, amber eyes. Her tail flowed and flicked behind her. She moved toward him with such elegant poise and purpose, as if she already knew how this night would play out. "Is it because I'm in Heat?"

Rain nodded, realizing just after that it shouldn't be his only reason. What was happening to him?

"If you're worried about an egg, I'm still in the first day - still in control. If we mated, I wouldn't dare use your seed."

She didn't seem in control. Or did she? Rain was too overcome with urge to tell. His wings remained outstretched.

She closed in on him, glancing at his penis once more. "Would it help if I shared a secret?" Her eyes narrowed to golden half-moons. "Even if I were not in Heat, I'd still want to."

Rain's belly spun with butterflies. He swore he was halfway to orgasm already. There was such a clean truth in her voice.

She grasped his dragonhood.

That was all it took for his wings to fold and his body to go limp. She stared straight at him, not seeing - but no doubt feeling - the streams of seed now spilling into her grip. Rain shuddered and moaned in astonishment. His mother had drawn from him in a single touch what it took other females several minutes to accomplish.

While he made a mess of her paw, she pressed forward and settled Rain on his back, the cool grass a relief on his overheating scales. He remembered this image - looking up at his mother sitting next to him, reading him stories and then kissing him goodnight. A being of power, intelligence, and striking female beauty.

She never released her hold on him. "Want me to stop?" By her tone, she knew the answer.

Rain was silent as the last waves of orgasm receded.

"And there it is," said Leilu, looking at her dripping paw. "The most valuable fluid in the kingdom. Worth more than water in the desert, all the sage's potions, or even your_father's_ seed." She examined it closely. Watched strings of it dangle from her claws. Tasted it. "And you didn't even put up a fight."

Rain stared in awe as her dexterous, pink tongue twirled along and between her fingers to clean every drop of it. Soon, the evidence had been destroyed.

"Now do you see?" With little effort and even less hesitation, she crept onto him, oozing over his body. A perfect pink and violet thing. "If a single female in Heat can extract your essence so easily, what happens when you invite a spy into your bed?" She pinned his shoulder to the ground with one paw, the other caressed his chest again - the sensitive scales right between his hearts. "Just look at you. She wouldn't even have to go through the trouble of slipping you a paralysis poison."

Her words had never carried more weight. Rain gazed down his body as she straddled his hips, slit ready at the base of his penis. The shivering, delightful tingle commanded him to do nothing as she dragged her labia slowly up it.

With a look of selfish determination, the queen reached down, moved her hips and slid him inside. She sighed in contentment. "Ah, there," she said as if righting a wrong, like she'd been missing a piece of herself and her son had provided it. Immediately, she began rocking back and forth with a strangely playful expression - like she was judging a fine wine she'd already tasted before. "Not bad," she chimed with a smirk.

Rain's throat opened to release a long, low moan as he orgasmed a second time. His mating instinct began pulling the strings, and he grasped her hips. He had no time at all to relish in the feeling of entering a female, overwhelmed by pleasure.

"Again?" Leilu shook her head with a_tsk tsk tsk_. "It's a good thing it was me you stumbled upon tonight and not some floozy," she said while her son ejaculated inside her.

When Rain's body settled down, he blinked a few times. His eyes refused to shut. He was compelled to see her, to watch her every move and admire the finer details of her form. The moonlight poured onto her smooth, lustrous scales. Those strong paws held him down. A sweet smile concealed her dominance. As experienced as he was, the dragoness riding him was anything but ordinary. Her beauty was so very apparent now. He'd never seen her as female, but little by little, the thought of who she was began to lose meaning - or perhaps take on a different one.

And she felt wonderful on him. His penis twitched as though it was still giving seed. He felt so perfectly exposed underneath her, staring into her eyes. Hypnotized. She stared back with that same smile, though she didn't bother hiding her own enjoyment. The heavy breaths and subtle moans coming from her throat were easily audible in the quiet.

Without breaking her carefully executed rhythm, the queen lowered her body against her son's. Rain closed his eyes and allowed his forelegs to wrap around her in a hug far more intimate than he was used to with this particular dragoness.

Suddenly, he felt a long, wet tongue going up his neck, bringing with it the same unearthly tingle from before. He couldn't control himself. The surge of pleasure swept all the way through him and erupted in a third unexpected orgasm. With a great moan, he loosened his grip on her and let his eyes defocus.

Leilu sat up so she was looking down on him again. "My goodness! Three already? You certainly didn't inherit your father's patience. Not that I blame you, dear. Few males have ever experienced the Heat for themselves." With a shiver of pleasure, she added, "You do take after him in other ways, though." She pressed a paw between their legs to demonstrate what she meant.

Rain barely heard her, his lips curling back into a desperate non-smile at the sensations. He momentarily forgot where he was and certainly had no time to take the compliment. Only when it stopped and he could breathe again did he look at her.

"Mother..."

Swiftness and certainty in her every movement, she quickly silenced his muzzle with a claw and a gentle 'shhhh'. Something in her gaze commanded him to lie still and enjoy himself. He knew better than to try and navigate her labyrinthian mind.

Rain simply relaxed into the grass and watched the hypnotic swaying of her hips. The pale-pink scales on her belly rippled and gyrated as she made love to him. He reached out and touched them, soft like silk. It was so real now, her scent, the closeness of her presence over him, and he settled comfortably into the violent revolt of desire over reason.

Just then, his mother raised her head to the sky and let out a beautiful female moan. There was a subtle, brief quiver. She tightened around him. Her insides fluttered and Rain gasped as he fell into his fourth orgasm along with her.

She was so good. He'd had no idea. No idea at all. All the stories and warnings about the Heat had not prepared the prince for this. He groaned and moaned and choked on his own breath, fighting to keep his faculties through this bright nebula of pleasure. It was quite humbling. All his regular girls were so easy to handle. He knew what they liked. And if he didn't, he was a fast learner. But his mother was a monster. He wondered how much of the Heat was really responsible for this.

Rain's body finally stopped giving seed again, but the queen's long female orgasm kept on, with no end in sight. She watched him with a wry grin and the occasional shuddery breath.

She leaned a bit closer. "Do you know the tale of why this happens to us?"

Rain moaned at her velvety voice. "The Heat?"

She nodded her head. He shook his.

"Long, long ago, there was a time when dragons grew bored of the idea of children."

A vague memory of this story started coming back. "They didn't mate?"

Queen Leilu's hips never stopped their gentle rocking motion. "They mated often, but only for pleasure. Seed was never used. For many years, no female chose to bear. Dragons filled the world from corner to corner, so why bother making more? They sat in their towers obsessing over lineages long passed, with no desire to continue their own."

Out of nowhere, she dragged a paw through the mess that had leaked out between them and licked. Rain's eyes widened as she was sloppy about it on purpose, smacking it around her lips and letting it drip.

"Many years later," she continued with strands of seed on her maw, "a wise witch foresaw the end of dragons. She pleaded with her fellow females, but they would not listen. So, she used her great knowledge of magic to cast a spell on five young females."

Rain recognized this part. "The Mothers?"

She nodded.

"And the spell was the Heat?"

She nodded again, still fucking him. "Technically speaking, it was a curse. It lives within us and surfaces once a year. In terms of efficacy, it was the most powerful spell ever cast. So far, it's transcended fourteen generations," she said with a blissful roll of her eyes. "Do you remember why we call them The Mothers?"

Rain couldn't tell if she was still having the same orgasm, or if she'd started a new one. She was riding those endless waves of pleasure so effortlessly. "Because every living dragon can be traced back to one of them."

"Do you remember their names?"

"Jutania, Petal, Ix, Cire, and Vulona."

"There's my smart boy. And so, that is why we females have our Heat. Not a single one of us is immune."

"How long does it last?"

"It varies. I remember my first Heat after marrying your father. I didn't go to Haven Spring Hall. Instead, I shackled myself in our tower and we mated for a fortnight."

Rain felt a wave of dread. "Nonstop?!"

"Nearly. We ate and bathed and slept, and he made a brief court appearance each morning, but every other waking moment was spent with him inside me. When males are close to us, the Heat affects them, too."

Rain knew that truth quite well tonight. His mother leaned closer to his face, as if what she was about to say held a bit more importance.

"Your father and I were savage, Rain.Savage. We bit and clawed at each other like feral wolves. Sometimes we would forgo meals so we could keep mating. We lost weight in that tower."

He believed it. She'd been right after all; Haven Spring Hall was now the last place he wanted to be.

"That's when we conceived you."

For a moment, Rain was able to separate the idea of his parents mating from the dragoness on top of him. "You were in Heat when you had me? I thought that was forbidden."

"It is. No one knows except your father and I. You were what's called a 'red egg'. Some believe the Heat curses the offspring with unnatural lust." She licked his snout. "Do you feel cursed?"

"Not at this particular moment."

She laughed. "Would you like to hear another secret? I was a red egg, too," she told him without waiting for an answer.

Cursed with lust? Queen Leilu? Please... "I suppose that curse is nonsense, then."

"Or perhaps I'm better at suppressing it than you are."

"Not at this particular moment," he repeated with a sly smile.

The queen kissed that smile.

Both dragons shut their eyes. The queen recklessly drove her tongue between the prince's lips. Rain felt the warm little wiggling organ against his teeth, and was compelled to fight back with his own. He tasted her mouth - sweet as honeysuckle - for the first time, yet it was so familiar. There was a hint of his seed still, but it wasn't that. He pressed upward against her and came again. Its suddenness no longer surprised him.

His mother obviously felt it leaking out of her and giggled into the kiss like one of his young 'floozies'. She pulled away. "Gods above, Rain!" She reached down for proof and brought back a paw soaked in it. "Where do you keep it all?"

Rain could not answer. He grasped at her body, any part, whatever he could reach in desperation as the powerful orgasm coursed through him. It was deep and beautiful, like a light in his hips. He convulsed underneath her as she tried to calm him.

Leilu stroked his neck and cooed. "Shhhh," she whispered to her writhing son. "I know, sweetheart, I know."

Clutching damp grass in his claws, his body twitched with the power of it until there was no more.

She soon stopped contracting around him, and the moment she did, she turned him like a page. "Now it's your turn, young drake," she said, gracefully rolling over and pulling him on top. His penis never left her folds. She spread her wings on the ground for balance and waited.

Her wait did not last long. For the first time in Rain's life, he took charge of his mother. He was much more familiar with this position, and he intended to prove it. "You want me to make you feel like one of my girls, is that it?" he asked knowingly as he began a comfortable rhythm.

Queen Leilu held his forelegs. "I want you to make me feel like your_favorite_ girl."

He began with slow strokes. Belly-to-belly, slit-to-slit, he glided against her, much preferring the control.

"Speaking of which, I've already thought of the first female on your new list. Her name is Echo. I know her family well. You've seen her around. Pure white scales, wears a green cape."

So, that was her name. Echo. "Where does she live?"

"Roseward. But I believe she's in Haven Spring Hall at the moment. I'll tell her of you. Or I could simply tell her to visit your tower when she returns. I know you'd love to get inside that slit."

She'd always been blunt with her words, but he'd never heard them quite so raw until tonight. "Only if she wants to."

"Of course, dear."

Beneath him, she was somehow still so regal, even when she wrapped her hind legs around him. Her eyes burned through his. Losing himself in her seductive grin, he challenged it with one of his own. He slid in and out of her warmth, a practiced motion he had made countless times, but never with such satisfaction.

Still, it apparently wasn't enough for the lady beneath him, and he felt her impatience through the claws on his shoulders. "You'll have to do better than that. I'm not some silly young dragoness whose legs buckle at your smile. I am the queen!"

The part of him that had been screaming to stop became a whisper.

"Treat your ruler with the respect she deserves," she insisted.

He grasped her middle and pressed harder into her. "Yes, your majesty." His feet dug into the ground for more purchase, and he used it to begin properly mating with his mother.

"That's it... Oh... Oh, Rain, that's beautiful."

He plowed through her juices, thick as soup. An unfamiliar tingly numbness spread through his hind legs as he used every muscle in them.

"Yes!" she cried. "Yes!"

With each desperate collision of their hips, the two dragons' eyes remained locked. A lick to her neck, then a kiss, seething with the same passion she had for him. Not as mother and son, but as male and female. As long as he lived, Rain would never forget the feeling of being inside her. He throbbed against the silk petals of her insides as another orgasm overtook him, firing more of his essence into the place where his life began.

"I see why the ladies find their way to your chambers!" she said, tickling the point of entry with her tail.

Rain smiled and kissed her again. He and his mother were the only dragons in the whole world, and every night spent with those other females was nothing but preparation for this moment. She made him forget all else and just do what felt good.

That night, he fed himself to her impulses.

* * *

"Thank you for helping me," said Leilu with a mighty stretch, her dark violet scales regaining their true color in the first light of morning. "I needed this. I can make it the rest of the way now."

Rain could barely stand, but he still tried. The ground beneath him seemed to pull twice as hard. "No! No, please. I have to feel you. I ha- I have to feel you," he begged, reaching for her on shaky legs. "Please don't leave yet."

Leilu opened her wings. "I'm sorry, Rain. I must. By dawn I'll be ravenous, and I won't be able to stop myself from using your seed. That cannot happen." She looked back at him with pity, at his maleness still leaking and perfectly rigid after countless uses. "Once I've put some distance between us, the feeling will wear off. I promise."

Half of him felt like his world might fall apart if he let her go. He didn't want it to 'wear off'. But his other half knew she spoke the truth. They shouldn't have done this in the first place. And yet... "Just one more?"

With eyes like steel, Leilu remained firm. "No," she said. Simple and honest. She turned toward Haven, wings outstretched and ready to take flight. "However... That list I'm making for you... I can always put_my_ name on it. If you like."

In a gust of wind, she was gone.
