Original Description:

I'm in the works of writing a story. Struggling to find motivation to write it and the focus as well. It's a challenge, but it'll do me some good to focus on something than the retarded shit happening these past few months... don't get me started.

Anyway, have a little taste of what to come in the future. Still getting my thoughts and notes down.

CRASH

That was me being thrown out a tall skyscraper.

SMASH SMASH

That was my two friends following suit in turn.

We were tasked of taking down this building of cold soulless metal, and we failed. We thought we had it in the bag, be wrapped up and restore this building to what it was in record time... but we got too cocky and lost focus at the final floor. Those damn robots were getting smarter... we were fools to underestimate them. We were so close, and we failed. We could do nothing but fall to our deaths.

I looked to my left, Yellow Long Ears unconscious, turned to my right, Pink Slim Tail also unconscious. As for me, I was in disbelief of what transpired. Trying to figure out what went wrong... but stopped mid-way to realize that didn't matter anymore.

I looked towards the ground. It seemed like an eternity was passing before we hit the pavement. I looked back up at the sky, the stories passed us by quickly and the top floor we were thrown out of becoming less visible by every second. I could barely see a silhouette of the... metal ton that thrown us out. We thought we saw every suit, but this one was... different. We tried everything against it, but wasn't enough. We couldn't dodge it forever either as our options ran out as well. That didn't matter anymore.

I reach out to my friends as we fell; one by one I grab their arms and pull, holding them in a tight embrace, accepting our fate. I felt their arms moving briefly before I blacked out upon hitting the pavement.

.....But I didn't die.

I woke up in great pain and struggling to move, yet found myself embraced by my friends. They used themselves to cushion the impact of the fall for me. Their bright colors were faded to gray, and there was no life in their eyes anymore. There was no way to bring them back... they were gone.

I blamed myself, wishing I made that sacrifice than them... but it seems they knew what they were doing and why.

.....

No, I don't blame myself anymore for that day, and that building was restored by another team the next day. However, they reported the threat we faced wasn't there... guess the metal suits were testing out something and we were the rats for their experiment and then cleared out after. You could say that building was a set up from the start.

I would face that metal ton again one day... but I wouldn't be alone either. I had a full size team with me, and I could never forget what it looked like either since the first encounter. That's a story for another time however.

.....

That day changed me forever. It still haunts me... Those two women were my responsibility... and even though I failed them, they scarified themselves to protect me, with smiles on their faces. If that isn't friendship, I don't know what is.

.....

Yeah, it's late. I should get some rest as I'm tasked for gathering tomorrow with a few others. Hope we get rescued soon from this island, despite how great it is, we shouldn't stick around for long either.
