EYES OF SOLITUDE ---Chapter 6--- Derrick took a deep breath as consciousness began running like water washing over his brain. He tightly squeezed his eyes shut as it felt like his mind was knocking on the inside of his skull while his scalp pulsated and throbbed. He waited a minute before his headache began to subside and he opened his eyes.

Without warning, he shocked awake, jumping to his feet immediately. He searched frantically for his wife hoping she was near. His head swiveled around again and again but he found no one but himself in the middle of the dark.

Night seems to have fallen and he was standing in the middle of a Cubush forest. He looked up to the moon like light in the sky. It's tiny figure and bright pink color made the lighting of his surroundings seem distorted and strange. The shadows seemed to actually move around him which spooked him again and again.

He wanted to shout for Carrie, but he feared what may be lurking in the maze of Cubushes.

"HEY!" a high pitched voice shouted from behind him. He turned so quickly that he knocked his own feet out from under him. Derrick grabbed for the air to hold him up with no avail and he crashed into the dirt floor. He shook his head briefly and looked up to a female figure standing over him.

"I gotcha, didn't I?" it asked.

"I guess. Who are you?" Derrick returned to his feet and squinted trying to see if he recognized the woman.

"I'm the Chief. You can call me Pearl." She stated with confidence. He voice sounded haughty and ignorant as if she was a new leader and really proud of it.

"Of what?" Derrick questioned in a snide tone. I'm a leader, he thought, this girl is obviously full of herself and thinks she's bigger than she really is.

"Of this tribe." She stated aloud as she reached down and grabbed something on the ground. It was too dark to identify, but before his eyes focused, she threw the object into the sky.

It appeared to be a small sphere like a baseball and it seemed to soar through the air forever as if defying gravity. He leaned back to watch the object travel.

It suddenly exploded into majestic purple like a fourth of July artillery shell. The lights came crashing down behind them and it lit hundreds of lamps that were long and seemed like water troughs filled with gasoline that burned a staggeringly bright blue. Derrick had to shield his eyes because of how bright it was.

An entire village the size of Times Square was revealed to him. It didn't tower over the Cubushes, but it seemed to go on for six hundred meters to the other Cubush wall. The huts were dilapidated and the leader's cabin was not much larger than the huts.

"What is this place?" Derrick asked Pearl.

"This is my village. We hid in the Cubush forest to escape the government's laws and regulations."

"Which laws?" Derrick thought he knew but he thought he would ask anyway.

"The polygamy laws." Pearl stated.

"Did you shoot me?" He suddenly asked. She rolled her eyes and answered.

"I don't know why they put you out. I only asked the hunters to bring you to me."

"What do you need me for?"

"Well, we heard about your beliefs."

"So are you trying to silence me?" Derrick scolded on the verge of shouting.

"No!" She held her white paws to him. "When we decided that monogamy was what we believed was right, we made our own village where monogamists can live free from persecution. Where we won't be arrested and tried for wanting to make love to our husbands or wives."

"You mean to tell me that it is actually against the law to be with your wife?" Derrick's spirit dropped from his body leaving a draining feeling like water rushing out of an open and overturned bottle.

"What planet are you from? It's been like that for a thousand years." She raised a brow.

"I don't remember anything. I was in The ash forest for a long time and I seemed to have forgotten everything." Derrick explained.

"I'm sorry to hear that. I am glad that you're here because you will really help our efforts in leading a revolution to legalize domestic and same sex marriage."

"Seriously, a few thousand years have gone by and homosexuals are still trying to legalize gay marriage?"

"What?"

"Nothing, nothing. Do you want to tell me why you had to kidnap me?"

"We can't disclose the location of our village until we know that you're on board." She began walking to the chief's cabin making a slight flip of her wrist to signal him to follow.

"Why me?" He asked walking next to her trying not to break eye contact.

"You're in a position of power. All of the villagers here came from a low class. They were all peasants, herders, and things like that. But you!" She paused holding her paws up to him as if presenting pure energy in her palms to him. "You're a village leader! You are of greater value and you're not expendable like they seem to think we are."

"So, you want me to lead your revolution into monogamy?"

"Pretty much." She stated. "Can you help us?... better yet, are you willing to help us?"

"Sure, but where is my wife?" Derrick questioned, "I passed out and she was there, but now she is not."

"We didn't want her here. I asked for you. She is probably still there, or maybe she went back to the village." Pearl grabbed a small book and gave it to Derrick. He took it, and read the cover.

"The Governmental Regulations Of Solitude." He read aloud. "What is this?"

"Knowing every page of that law book will help you to lead us into freedom." She instructed.

"If I help you, I can take my wife with me, right?" Derrick confirmed.

Pearl hesitated, "Carrie isn't receptive to the idea of monogamy. She would make a negative impact, I think."

"I can change her mind."

"You can't. She has known these laws all of her life and she won't break. If you lead this revolution, we believe that she will leave you."

"Then, I won't help you." Derrick made his way to the door. "I'm leaving."

"Derrick." She stopped him, "We need your help. You know that monogamy is right. You can feel it in your heart and I know because I can see it in your face." Pearl's eyes became saturated with moisture. "I love my husband, but I can't take living without sunlight, without the wide open plains, and without fresh air. Please, Derrick. We need you!" She pleaded.

"I can change her." Derrick assured her.

"Okay." Pearl thought a moment. She took a deep breath, "You'll have two weeks. After that, we can't risk you knowing about this village. We just can't."

"What do you mean?" Derrick feared the worst in that statement.

"The hunters will have to eliminate you as a threat." She grimly answered.

Derrick looked over the two enormous guards that stood in the shadows. The hog on the right chuckled slightly as if to say, "She's not really saying it, but you know what she means."

He did. He knew that these two could rip him to shreds with their bare hands if they wanted to. He wouldn't have a fighting chance. The cougar on the right dropped his arms from their crossed position.

"It's nothing personal Mr. Lesters," he said. "It's just business and security."

My last name has changed, Derrick thought, I'm Derrick Lesters now. He misses the simplicity in his human name, "Smith". Though he didn't really mind, but it did spark curiosity in what his wife's new maiden name was. Was it still "Angell" ?

The white rabbit walked to the door and opened it waving Derrick through. "You have two weeks, Derrick. Remember, if you're not with us... you're against us."

Suddenly, blackness slammed him in the back of the head and he was unconscious once again. EYES OF SOLITUDE ---Chapter 7--- Derrick was shocked awake as water slapped him in the in face. He met eyes with a serpent like creature coming out of the pond that he lie next to. They shared a long moment of eye contact then it started slowly toward him. It's large black eyes stared ominously as it's bulbous head crept toward him very slowly. It's antennae twitched in rhythm with his breaths as if it could feel his breathing from their considerable distance.

Derrick felt it was necessary to speak, "What the fuck is your problem?" He growled to it.

"Nope-thing." It responded without opening it's mouth in a female sounding voice. It kept after him at an incredibly slow rate.

"You can talk?" He asked it.

"Sure!" It answered in a deep male register. He realized that it must have recorded other beings speaking. Maybe this was a lure for hunting.

"What do you want?! Food?!" He shouted standing up quickly. "Well, I don't have any food and if you mess with me, I will fuck you up!" Derrick screamed in false confidence to try and scare it off. It didn't react. He roared while throwing his arms up at it in a further attempt. It remained on it's slow course toward him. It didn't even twitch.

"What the fuck is your problem?" It asked him in his own voice. Derrick decided to ignore the creature as it seemed to be a mockingbird of sorts. He turned away and took a step and as fast as he could step, he was slung into the sky. He fell head first and watched the ground come up to him.

Derrick shouted in defiance at gravity and he careened right into the serpent like creature's mouth though he was larger than the monster had anticipated. Fin like extremities extended from the nostrils on it's face and began shoving on Derrick. It seemed to be trying to eat him but he was not small enough to fit in it's jaws. He turned and chopped at the creature's eyes with the knife edge of his hand. It flinched and dropped him into the water below. Derrick scrambled to stand and face the creature and resume combat but found that it was frozen again. It simply stared at him.

It waited a moment then began moving slowly toward him again. Derrick slowly and deliberately took steps backward, not breaking eye contact with the large scary snake. When he felt that he was a safe distance away he turned and took off running.

He continued across the Klarkit plain until he was tired. He slowed to a walk, panting desperately. Great. Now that he's solved that problem, how was he going to get home? He thought.

Derrick recognized the terrain but failed to put together any type of direction to get back to the village and back to his wife. As he observed the area, he noticed a Cubush forest in the distance that had a thin part in it. He remembered following Carrie through a Cubush trench so that must be where the village is. He began walking in that direction keeping his eyes open for any dangers.

He walked through the Cubush trail and saw a nose reaching slowly for a fat caterpillar like creature inching across the ground. The nose suddenly snapped and grabbed the small bug and started to set it down in the leaves.

"Help! It's got me! Help!" The bug screamed and flailed. Derrick felt like he should help the bug due to it's seemingly sentient metal state. Derrick reached down and anti-climatically knocked the small worm like life form from the nose's grasp. The bug hit the ground, turned to Derrick and shouted, "Run, wife fucker! Run!!!!" The bug began inching as fast as his tiny body would allow. Derrick picked up the small bug and walked out of the trail, ten times faster than the worm traveled.

"Dude, you totally saved my bones back there." The worm told Derrick.

"Do you even have bones?" Strangely enough this was the first question that Derrick thought to ask.

"No. Not really. What about you?"

"Well, I actually..." Derrick realized the stupidity in his conversation with the worm, "Listen, I saved your life so you owe me one, okay?"

"I can tell you one thing, I am not about to blow your ass cause I am not sure if..."

"No." Derrick interrupted, "That isn't what I meant. I need information."

"Info? Dude, I am fucking balls at info. Seriously, I can fucking hitch a ride in a bitches ear while that dumb ass is asleep and take fucking shit notes, dude. I am Roger the wife fucking best private eye of Solitude. Seriously... I can be a "private" eye... I've got a camera and I can see up any bitches skirt you want to see."

Derrick thought for a moment. Roger seemed like just a profane dumb shit but he seemed to know what he was talking about. Hopefully he will know about his village.

"My name is Derrick Lesters. I am the leader of a village around here, but I am lost."

The worm laughed, "Never thought I'd ever fucking see that day when a damned leader gets his fucking ass lost in the wife fucking woods. Dude, if it's directions you fucking need your ass, I can be like your fucking turn by wife fucking turn global bullshit device."

"So, you know where my village is?" Derrick became excited.

"Fucking hell yes, bitch! Every fucking body knows who your ass is. You were fucking there and then like a shit fucking dick sucking Houdini cock rapist, you were just fucking disappeared lickity damned split." The tiny bug stated.

"Why is it necessary to curse constantly?"

"Oh, shit no. I know you aren't about to fucking rag on my wife fucking language. Something that stuck around from the old days was fucking freedom of wife fucking speech, so fuck fucking fuckers if those fucking suck fucks want to fucking fuck on my fucking fuck fucks." The worm raised a brow as if he asked a question. Derrick looked away for a second and returned.

"I honestly don't know how to respond to that, but can you please give me directions to my village?" Derrick smiled a big grin, "Please?"

"Sure, ol' chap. Indeed, I shall take thou to thy village." The worm said in a mocking tone. There was a pause. "I'm just fucking your fucking fuck ass. Fuck."

The two departed under the direction of the worm. Roger began reading the terrain like a "wife fucking tour fuck" to help Derrick remember his past.

"Dude, that has got to fucking bone ass not fucking able to fucking fuck your own head, bro." The worm sympathized. He shook his tiny head and returned to giving directions from the roost upon Derrick's head. As they neared the village, Derrick realized that something wasn't right. He stepped quietly and lowly behind some small Cubushes. There were large furs wading through the village of women and taking their belongings. Derrick, being unused to his body, felt unconfident to take them on and find out what was going on. "Derrick," The worm started, "Those nomads are totally raiding the shit out yo' village. Just fucking jump in there and start beating ass!"

"I don't know if I can." Derrick hesitated. "I've never fought a day in my life. I'm not cut out for that." Derrick put the worm down on a rock and looked to him, "I may have in this life, but I back when I was human I never did."

"Dude, I totally hear you. Your fucking ass as a human never fought, but don't you think that getting the fuck in there and getting smacked around might unlock your fighter side and bring back your memories?" Roger reasoned.

"That sounds... plausible, but I don't want to get my ass kicked... it's not worth it."

"Fuck, puss-butt! It is your fucking duty as a dip shit with a dick to get in there and get your ass beat in the name of the fucking females. That is the reason for being born right? To fight a never ending fuckfest and win over the number one best of all the bitches or, as you put it, your wife. Get in there and get your ass kicked!" Roger pushed lightly on Derrick's arm.

"You're not going to even wish me luck?" Derrick crossly asked the worm.

"Did you see the same dudes I did? You don't have a chance... now, go!" The worm encouraged.

"You're right roger. It's my duty as a man. I must -"

"Fucking shut fuck your ass fucking shit nugget and swing your dick on in that bitch." The worm interrupted. Derrick nodded and stood up tall. He took a step into the open and yelled to the three large furs.

"Hey, what the fuck?" Derrick shouted.

"This doesn't concern you, asshole!" One hollered back.

"I'll take care of this one." The largest of the three stated and the Rhino began walking to him. "You picked the wrong fucking time to be a good Samaritan."

"Bring it, bitch!" Derrick shouted as he put his hands up. Derricks heart pumped harder and faster with every step the Rhino took. His hands couldn't hold still, he was shaking and jittery. His breaths became short and heavy. Though his memory hadn't changed much to his disappointment.

The Rhino was about a step away and his large heavy hand came way back and time seemed to slow. Derrick watched as every muscle in his opponent's body suddenly clenched together bringing his hammer like arm down upon Derrick. Suddenly, Derrick's instinct kicked in and he knew what to do somehow. Derrick, without thinking reacted.

He locked his hands and slammed his elbow against the fist of his opponent. There was a deafening crack as the Rhino's arm broke under the force of Derrick's incredibly strong counterstrike. The Rhino screamed in horrible pain at the compound fracture. Derrick used the force of the still falling arm, caught the broad side of the exposed bone still sliding through the skin and pushed it with his right palm away bringing his ulna to a 90 degree right angle to the radius bone. The rhino's legs buckled and he fell in front of Derrick.

As if someone else was in control, he brought his leg up then back down on the brittle remains of the rhino's right arm snapping the radius imploding more flesh nearly breaking the furs arm off completely. The rhino choked and cough a few times before passing out from the incredible pain.

Derrick stared at the unconscious beast in total shock and awe.

"Holy shit. I just did that." Derrick was amazed that he didn't know his own strength. The ram and the wolf, looked at each other.

"Fuck this noise." The wolf stated.

"Let's kill this wife fucking son of a bitch." The ram suggested.

"Let's not." Derrick shrugged.

"I'd like to see you take us both on at once." the ram continued.

"That doesn't sound fair." the frightened llama stated.

"Fuck that! You're dead, bitch!" the wolf screamed as they both took off in a dead run toward Derrick. His heart skipped a beat as his brain began analyzing the situation for a way out. He suddenly without thought leapt into the air flipping forward. The two combatants tacked him as he flew over their heads while he looked right into their eyes inches from their faces. Derrick grabbed either side of their heads and clocked them together with all of his might. He then completed his flip and landed on his feet.

"Whoa!" Derrick looked over his own body, "I'm a bad ass!"

"Off that bitch, James!" The wolf yelled from behind Derrick. The llama looked to the two and the ram had an enormous pistol that he was loading one bullet at a time.

"Geoff! Keep that asshole busy while I load." the ram pointed with his head.

"Fuck, yeah." Derrick put his hands up and waited for his brain to command him. The wolf jumped into the air and was coming at Derrick fast. Everything remained in real time and his mind didn't take over. What was different? Derrick took over at the last second, but not fast enough.

The wolf landed on the little llama and slammed him on the ground. Derrick's ribs all felt broken and he couldn't breathe. The wolf pinned Derrick's arms with his knees and began drilling into Derrick's face with his fists. His mind suddenly wondered about into unrelated subject matter. With every heavy collision with his face, his brain would start on something else like changing the channel on the TV.

There was a loud blast from a direction that Derrick couldn't identify but the punching stopped. He felt a warm syrup like liquid wash over his fur as his eyes began to focus. The blast sounded once more as Derrick regained his vision. The wolf's head instantly opens up, spilling blood and brains all over Derrick's chest and face. An eyeball falls from the wolf's open and exposed skull splats onto the river of running blood on Derrick's body.

The llama throws the still sitting corpse off of him and sits up brushing the bits of flesh, fur and bone from his now matted fur. His left arm, tangled in the spilled guts of the wolf, is grabbed by a small white hand.

"Are you okay?" A voice asked him just as a blast sounds once more and the ram's head tosses off of his shoulders as the cougar shot him in the neck destroying the top of his chest, spraying blood and bits of his upper spine all over the Cubush behind him. The Cubush immediately begins reaching for the corpses and dragged them into the chopping leaves.

"I'm okay. I think... I feel like I'm bleeding into my throat." Derrick stated. "I feel sick."

"By the looks of it, you're swallowing a lot of blood and losing even more."

"Pearl?" Derrick asked.

"Yeah?"

"Where is Carrie?"

Pearl paused. She looked up to the leader's cabin that was still aflame. "Before they started raiding the village, they kidnapped a few villagers. It's the government hiring hit men to find you. Perhaps you were not as important to them as we had hoped."

"That means that Carrie isn't important either." Derrick worried as his eyes began watering.

"Derrick... knowing the government's attitude toward monogamy... she won't be alive for long." EYES OF SOLITUDE ---Chapter 8--- "So, he's been talking crazy? What do you mean?" the large Doberman asked the tiny cheetah. She'd answered that exact question five times previous to no avail. They seem to not be able to understand what she was saying.

"Yes. When he returned from the ash forest he no longer seemed like he was himself. His behavior was the same but everything he believed had changed. He still was Derrick... I could see it in his eyes, but he just... didn't think like himself anymore. I thought it was like normal, he forgot things, but we had never seen this before. Someone actually placing new memories and beliefs in their minds." She explained tripping on her own tongue as she tried to reword herself.

"Right." The fur looked down at her with arms crossed. "You had nothing to d with his sudden belief change?"

"No." Carrie threw her arms forward, "I don't know how else to say it!" She grew frustrated. He raised a brow, shifted his eyes downward, nodded to her and left the room. Carrie, alone, felt uncomfortable in the room. It was cold and grey. Never in her life had she something so dead and vacant of life. She was so used to seeing vibrant colors and movement. This was obviously in an attempt to make her uncomfortable and it was working.

The door came open with a metallic series of clicks. A new pair of furs walked in wearing official governmental dress. She had never seen government official in real life. It was slightly frightening, as if they were from a different planet. It invoked the same questions, "What are they going to do with me?" or , "Why are they here?" or, "Am I going to live through this?".

"I am Greenson, and this is my colleague Killer." The smaller one said. The enormous grizzly bear looked like he'd been through multiple tours in a war and had horrible luck. As if every bullet fired in his direction barely skimmed past his fur leaving startling and unsettling scars behind. "Please, excuse my partner's name as he can be quite a nice guy... if you cooperate." The Labrador continued.

"Okay..." She sheepishly whistled. Something in her mind screamed at her to just cooperate and she can continue to search for her lost husband when they let her go. Carrie tried not to weep in fear and remain strong, but the two furs watching could definitely see the tears beading and rolling down her cheeks.

"There really is no need to be alarmed, Mrs. Castiel." He nodded lightly and smiled warmly. "We are only here to get the facts straight."

"What is it you want to know? I have explained everything about eight times already." Carrie plead.

"Six," The official corrected, "We were watching." He and the bear scooted chairs to the table that Carrie was seated at. The bear remained uncomfortably silent as the Lab continued. "We are wondering what your husband had to say about his new belief system. So if you could supply us with that information we will take care of everything ourselves and you won't have to suffer through a thing. You will just be able to relax back at your village."

Carrie looked them both over. Switching back and forth between them for a moment. She knew that if she told them what he was saying, they would take him and kill him. His life would be in danger if she told them, but if she lied, they might already know. They will know she is lying, and the consequences may just be as dire for her as her husband's situation is currently.

"I really should be getting back... I have things I need to tend-"

"Where is your husband right now?" Greenson interrupted. There was an unsettling pause. If looks could kill, she thought.

"I don't know." Carrie finally answered.

"We have reason to believe that he is linked to a monogamy terrorist group. He has already lead an attack on his own village while our men were watching over your village as you were away with us. Tell us where he is, what he is doing, and how we can get him so that we can spare the lives of everyone polygamist as we are all in danger without him captured." Greenson's tone had completely changed. His voice was gritty and anger was quickly raising within him. He suddenly snapped in front of the bear's face. "If you don't," Greenson grimly continued as the bear stood, "Killer will peel off your skin until you either talk or die." His squinted, cold eyes grew wide, "If the right words don't start flowing from your lips in about twenty seconds, you're seriously going to regret remaining silent."

This can't be legal, she thought. Carrie stood and backed up to the wall opposite to the door and Killer standing directly in the way. The bear had to have been three times her size but to her he seemed be an unstoppable force. A wall closing her into her certain death.

"Please! Killer, don't do this." Carrie plead feeling almost stupid trying to reason with the large unreceptive beast. "I don't know where he is. I want to find him just as bad as you do." She cried.

"There has to be something you can tell us. Just start telling us all the places he is familiar with, where he might be now, how he will be getting there! Tell me, or die. Those are your choices." The Labrador yelled over Carries uncontrollable whines and cries.

"Running will do you no good." Killer growled. "Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!" He snarled more.

"I'll do anything! Just don't hurt me, please!" She screamed with her tiny white paws out to Killer as if she could even have a chance at stopping him from doing anything.

"Killer, wait!" Greenson suddenly stood. "You said 'anything' just now, correct?"

Carrie paused knowing what he meant. She hesitated and then nodded slowly.

"I have an idea, Killer." Greenson chuckled. "I'll make her squeal like the little girl she is. Please, leave the room."

Killer opened the door and walked out accompanied with an autonomous, "Yes, sir." as he closed the door.

Greenson reached into his back pocket and pulled out a large revolver. He pointed it at Carrie and smiled again. He flicked it to the left at the wall, "put your nose against the wall." He commanded.

Carrie slowly tiptoed over to the wall fearfully breathing short and fast breaths. She placed her nose against the cold wall and closed her eyes tightly. A large breath filled her chest slowly, then she exhaled through her nose, warming the wall to a comfortable temperature level which was an unexpected side effect to trying to not pass out.

"Pull down your skirt to your knees..." He laughed. His hands trembled with excitement as he walked to her. She placed her paws on the hips of her colorful skirt and pushed lightly, regretting every inch that it fell down her body. She could no longer stay as strong as she would like to. The tears streamed across her fur, and she panted and wept.

"This will only take a second. You might just enjoy yourself if you stop your bitching." Greenson whispered into her ear. The soft clipping sound of his zipper made it's way to her ears and she cried harder. The Lab felt softly around her exposed buttocks feeling her dry vaginal mouth. He spit harshly into his hand. The disgusting wad slammed into his hand with a loathsome separate splat. He began rubbing down his pathetic excuse for a member. She cocked her head back and stole a look. He almost covered it completely from knuckle to knuckle as he rubbed vigorously. He forced his body upon her back squeezing her against the cold metal. He pushed his penis against her parched pussy with the spit spreading across her lips. He grabbed her hips with both hands, pulling her upwards, trying to angle his way into her without success. In this position, his penis was simply too small. He grew discouraged and leaned forward.

"Push your ass out. I am going to do this weather you like it or not!" The Lab frustratingly scowled to her. Suddenly, she realized that BOTH of his hands are on her hips. Where is the gun? She cocked her head back and tried to see, but saw nothing. She arched her back and allowed him to penetrate her. She felt his tiny phallus slide across her sensitive lips with absolutely no gratification to her. She noted that it felt much like a tampon, or a douche and had to keep from laughing out loud. She almost was going to let him finish up because the poor guy probably never convinces any females to let him breed them.

She turned around to see him. He was REALLY concentrating with eyes closed and everything as her furiously slammed into her butt and his cock kind of poked at her vagina. She saw the revolver. The stupid fuck set it down on the table behind them.

She braced against the wall and prepared to launch an attack on the pathetic dumb ass. She took a deep breath and realized that he was cumming. He grunted and growled sadly clutched her arms tightly throwing his head back while spraying cum onto the inside of her vagina's mouth. There was no physical way for her to get pregnant from this disappointing act of coitus. He was not even close to her actual reproductive parts. This fact almost made her feel bad from punching him in the throat while he was on the decline from his orgasm.

He choked hard and gurgled harshly as he lost his balance while reaching for the revolver. Her heart jumped as his fingers wrapped around the grip, but she was relieved when he hit the floor simply spinning the gun where it sat. She grabbed the weapon and pointed it at him just as he did to her. Not knowing how to use it, she was going to have to do a great deal of bluffing.

The Lab concluded his coughing fit and stared into her eyes. She smirked, "Dumb ass." She said to him as she pulled back on the trigger guard not realizing that the gun would not fire this way. This caught her by surprise and she squeezed harder, sliding her finger off the guard and accidentally onto the trigger. The pistol popped, deafening Carrie.

Just as the gun fired, there was an external forced that exploded through the wall. Fire erupted from the metal heating it to a deep and hot red as it curled over opening a considerable hole. Greenson's body disintegrated and splattered on the wall opposite to the door. Carrie looked into the room which the explosion originated from and found another hole just like it leading outside from the other room.

To her delight and surprise, Derrick himself crawled through the hole and braced Carrie tightly.

"I missed you." He stated.

"I am so sorry." She cried to him happily though filled with remorse.

"Why?" He asked as the door slammed open behind him. He turned quickly and fired his snub shotgun. Killer ducked missing the deadly pellets. They pinged into the wall behind him. One ricocheted and got him right above the eye. He stood slowly with the most furious look in his eyes.

The bear, wiping the profusely bleeding wound, charged at Derrick. The little llama pushed Carrie back against the wall, knocking her back onto the floor. Derrick dropped his firearm and held his fist out to Killer bracing himself for impact.

The monster crashed into the tiny fur tackling him to the ground and landing on top of him and suddenly motionless. Derrick took a deep breath and pushed the large anthro from him, rolling the beast over. He stood and retracted the blade from under his sleeve out of Killer's sternum. Blood poured from the wound, saturating the dead fur's smart looking coat.

"Derrick!" Carrie called, "You're back!"

Derrick looked to Carrie and smiled. He picked her up and then looked down pausing at the sight of the semen stained fur between her legs and her skirt around her knees. Grabbed her face and looked into her eyes.

"I love you." He said with as much sorrow as he could, "I am sorry I wasn't here sooner."

"Derrick. I am not hurt. You got here just in time for me to live, that is all I care about." She hugged him tightly. She wept softly into his shoulder.

"It's okay, Carrie. We're here to get you out now."

She wasn't going to correct him, but she wasn't afraid for her well being, or their fate that day. She cried because she knew that he wasn't actually back. She knew that he was still messed up or she wouldn't have been able to hold him like this. Though, in the back of her mind, she was glad he was unchanged.

"Derrick. I want you to know that -" A shout from down the hall startled her. It was more armed guards on their way.

"Let's get out of here!" Pearl shouted from the burning hole in the wall. Derrick nodded and he knelt then walked threw the hole with Carrie in his arms. The llama walked to the other hole exposing the outdoors.

A large tentacle lie in their path. It curiously had a pair of seats strapped to it in a row fashion. He placed her in one seat and belted her in quickly.

She was dumbstruck at the creature that looked much like a chisel tip marker with air bladders on either side. Upon what appeared to be it's head, sat a large cougar who waved at Derrick as he mounted the tentacle. The four enormous tentacles all had two passengers, the underside had sextuplet of gunners that had gigantic energy based mounted machine guns. Two large plates of possibly Quarstium, the third hardest and most impenetrable metal on Solitude, guarded the bladders from penetration.
