Even in the big city there are places unseen and untraveled, at least by those that follow the rules. When Levi's defiant attitude encourages him to take a risk he discovers the unexpected on the roof of his school, but all actions have consequences whether they are unexpected or not. Any stone thrown can cause ripples.

Hard Rock Life

Heavy, dark clouds rolled across the city's skyline, accompanied by a rumbling so deep that it felt like the language of the planet itself. What light made it through came in at strange angles, a veil of pale silver light that felt alien and unnatural. The storm brought an end to a week of scorching temperatures, but now early afternoon felt like dusk - a dusk that didn't want to end, especially for the only student sitting on the sixth floor of the Brooklyn Community High School. Levi was alone, reclined in a desk older than his parents, eyes locked on the clock.

Three forty five. Detention had barely started and it already felt like an eternity, especially since his captor had excused himself for a smoke break. Even that bugged the hell out of Levi... If mister Briggs wouldn't do his due diligence, why was he expected to obey? He was in detention specifically for breaking the rules. He was a rebel, an outlaw, a punk! Levi was eighteen years old, but he'd been a punk since the first surge of testosterone had hit his system.

Levi's black hair had been worked up into a faux-hawk and dyed a vibrant azure blue. The punk tapped his foot on the plastic seat of the desk in front of him, the rubber soles worn down and the fabric weathered. He had been trying to save up for one of those vests with the spikes on it, mabe sew on some patches, but he didn't exactly live in an upscale neighborhood and the best he could manage were some blown out jeans and some vintage metal shirts from the thrift store. Still, it was a start.

The punk's foot tapping was becoming more and more urgent until he brought a fist down on the scratched and stained wood of the desk. This was insanity. He had wasted all day in school being taught propaganda, trying to be molded to conform, and now he was being held unjustly just for speaking his mind. He wasn't going to take it. What were they going to do, try to tell his parents? The idea nearly made him laugh.

With a huff of determination, Levi pushed himself out of the desk. He started making his way for the door before he paused, looking out of the foggy window down the darkened hallway. The halls were lined with dark grey lockers on a dull brown floor. The only source of light was a semicircle window at the far end of the hall, but a shadow loomed against it... His warden, his captor, waiting. No doubt his years as an educator had honed his senses even as it had dulled his humanity. No, Levi couldn't get out that way. He'd have to walk right up to him to get to the stairs. No, he needed another option, an alternative.

Cool blue eyes scanned the classroom, looking for resources. Street kids had to be smart, to think on their feet... The clouds outside would have seemed ominous to most, but to Levi it was freedom... and the fire escape outside, well, maybe that was just the ticket. Levi glanced down the hallway one last time before he broke for the window. His calloused fingers gripped at the old frame and tugged. There wasn't so much as a shudder. He glanced up and saw a latch - a latch that was caked with so much paint that there wasn't even a seam anymore. He cursed his misfortune, but maybe there was another chance.

The punk tried the next window, then the third. Each was as motionless as the last, frozen in decades of paint and neglect. Levi felt his heart racing with fury. He was a caged animal. His instincts were to escape. Surely it would prove a mystery. The door to the classroom not even touched, where oh where would Levi have gone? And if his teacher said anything about it, well, he wasn't supposed to be on a smoke break anyway. The long walk seemed an excess for a teacher that Levi had accused of being lazy on so many occasions. It was in that moment that the idea struck him. If Levi had not landed himself in trouble, what would Mister Briggs have done? Would he have taken such a long walk, or would he have cheated?

Levi advanced on the last window in the room, one situated by the teacher's desk near the back of the classroom. It was near the window, but a survey of the window showed that the paint on the latch and the frame had been cracked and splintered from use, showing layers dating back decades like some sort of lead based geological core sample. Levi grinned. One well worn shoe went up on the radiator, the next up to the window sill. His fingers stretched and the latch was flipped. With triumph, the punk grabbed the window and hoisted it up only to be blasted by wind the temperature of his own skin.

Levi's dyed hair was held in place by product, resilient against the breeze. He peered out across the street below, the building beyond. No one in Brooklyn would think twice about him scaling the side of the building. This was his city. The eighteen year old ducked out and pulled the window back down, trying to get it nice and snug. His only regret was that he couldn't close the latch behind him and leave his captor with a complete mystery. Still, Levi knew he was on his own now. He turned and looked at the well weathered fire escape, wondering just how old the bolts were that anchored it all into the walls. He debated his options and then did what any curious teenager would do - he went up.

More rumbling echoed across the city, deep and resounding. It shook through Levi's bones and the steel skeletons that held up all the buildings. Levi had climbed two flights, approaching the very top of the school. He tried to think of the last time he'd been on the top floor. It had to be freshman year during some excursion to a computer lab so old it still used green screen and amber screen monitors... The heat had been unbearable, but now? Now he was on the outside. Levi grinned, appreciating the architecture as he ascended.

The outside of the school was so ornate. There were carved details in the molding that no one could see from the street. Every gutter, every guard, every highlight and detail came with etchings, spikes, spirals and curves. As the punk climbed, though, he started to notice something unexpected... greenery. It caught the corner of his eye at first, the swaying of leaves on a vine. The motion made him turn, realizing there was a trail of ivy hanging down. He followed it up to see many more draped over the edge of the roof line.

Here he was in the middle of an urban jungle only to find a bit of nature. The unexpected discovery only encouraged Levi to climb faster. He grabbed onto the handrails and propelled himself upwards, He reached the last landing and stepped over the rim of the roof, coming down not onto gravel, but onto moss. Levi looked around with eyes wide open.

As ornate and detailed as the exterior of the school was, the roof was perhaps even more inexplicable. There was a water tower dating back to the twenties, anyone could have expected that... There was a milky pyramid shaped skylight, not unheard of in the city, but everything else seemed like some strange forgotten paradise. There was a series of stone benches, a lightning rod, an area that might have been a garden years prior... and something more amazing and wonderful than Levi could have ever expected. At first he thought he was seeing things, but as he moved toward the far corner of the roof, it became apparent it was all too real.

"No fucking way..." He whispered, approaching the large form from behind. He slowed as he came up upon it, half because he was nearing the edge of the roof, but also because the form was shaped like a massive creature, hunched over the corner of the building, peering down to the city below. From the back it appeared to be some sort of massive bat, or at least that was what the stone wings seemed reminiscent of. From the side it became apparent this was a far more exotic, far rarer creature.

A muzzle was filled with sharp fangs. Clawed paws gripped the edge of the building. Slate grey horns glinted in the lights, rising up from the temples of a beast with pointed ears. The statue was detailed with impeccable care. Its pectorals hugged its chest just above skin taut over thick ribs. It was artfully posed to hide its nether regions, crouched in a position that looked just as comfortable on all fours as standing upright. It was the most amazing thing Levi had ever seen, but it wasn't alone.

A quick survey of the roof line revealed two more gargoyles. One was standing more upright, having no muzzle but being adorned with more horns and spikes. Even his shoulders curved upwards to sharp edges. The other seemed to be halfway in between the more bestial one and the humanoid one. Each was different, each carefully made, though the fact that there were only three made Levi wonder... Had the fourth been lost? Had it fallen in some earthquake, crumbling below? Levi reached for his pocket to withdraw his phone, only to realize in a moment of terror that it had been confiscated.

"No... No, why? WHY?!" He exclaimed, letting out a yell that echoed outward over the skyline. The wind whipped against his azure hair, chilling him in his lack of warm clothing. He stood there, alone, standing in paradise with no proof, no way to convince his friends that it was up there. He couldn't even see a stairwell cap. There might have been some hatch, but wherever it was was either buried under gravel or grown over with moss and icy. If he went back to his friends without proof they'd think he was just telling stories to pass the time in detention. Levi had to get them to believe him...

Exhaling slowly, the punk weighed his options. Some evidence was better than none at all. He took a light jog across the roof over to the gargoyle that seemed to stand tallest, the guardian. He looked up at the granite face, the eyes peering out over the city, the hair seemingly frozen in stone. Levi considered for a moment, his hand reaching up, brushing one of the horns on his head before he paused, shaking.

"No, I can't do that... At least not that one." He said reluctantly before his fingers wrapped around one of the shoulder spikes. He applied pressure and pulled, though nothing happened. He gritted his teeth and pulled backward, swinging left to right a little, but still nothing happened. With a bit of frustration, Levi jumped up and tucked his legs, bringing all his body weight down suddenly. The shoulder spike lurched, then snapped.

Levi hit the ground and grunted, but secured in his hand was a curved, obsidian looking spike etched with a faint pattern, the tip weathered by time. A grin crossed Levi's lips. Now he had the evidence to tell everyone of the stone garden on top of the roof and the guardians that defended it. Now the preposterous punishment seemed worth it... although now he had to make it back down before his warden returned, lest he top his hand that he could escape so easily. This was one place he knew he had to return to.

The old heavy doors to the school swung open, early morning light streaming in behind Levi as he strode in. It had been a short night, especially given the fact that the punk had arrived at school earlier than usual. He'd opted for a navy t-shirt and a black vest showing off the necklace he now proudly sported. Hanging from a rather mundane cord was the obsidian spike, curved and sharp, resting equidistant between his nipples. It was impossible for Levi to wipe the grin off his face as he moved down the hallways.

To say that Levi usually caught the attention of his peers was an understatement. Even in a more accepting age, few people dyed their hair such bright colors. Levi sought the attention, but today was a new day. He didn't just want people to gawk. He wanted them to question, to wonder, to ask... Levi moved through the crowded halls, heading for the one place, or rather the one person, he knew he could depend on.

Years back, the school had erected a statue in an alcove between the doors to the auditorium only to realize, a few decades too late, that the statue was rather insensitive and politically incorrect. It had been removed and the gap had proved to be the perfect nook for one young man who did not share Levi's thirst for being seen or noticed, but DID share the punk's taste in music and counterculture. As Levi approached, the skinny eighteen year old looked up, his long brown hair slipping over his shoulders, brown eyes contemplative before his lips curved into a confused grin. It made the peach fuzz mustache he was trying to grow contort, emphasizing his expression.

"Are you wearing a fucking raptor claw?!" he asked. Levi rolled his eyes.

"Cid, do I look like a dinophile to you?" Levi asked. The young metal head shrugged.

"I'm not sure, maybe you're rocking brontosaurus blue for all I know." he said. Levi shook his head before he leaned against the edge of the alcove.

"This, for your information, is a piece of a fucking amazing find... It's from a gargoyle." Levi whispered. Cid's brow furrowed.

"A gargoyle? Like... from that Disney movie?" he asked. Levi looked confused and hurt, his brain re-running his childhood.

"What? No, like a real one, a gargoyle, stone carvings, epic creatures from Europe and shit? There are three on the roof. They are AMAZING. Very metal. Well, I mean stone, but like... the aesthetic is all there." Levi said. Cid looked even more dubious.

"Gargoyles... on the roof. Which roof?" He asked.

"The roof of the school." Levi replied. Cid let out a single chuckle.

"You were on the roof of the school? That's like, what, six stories? More?" he asked.

"It felt like more, but I'm serious. I snuck up during detention and there's a whole garden up there. I mean, it hasn't been kept up, but it's so fucking cool!" Levi said.

"Language." One of the teachers commented as they passed, though with little to no intention of enforcing it. Levi blushed and crouched down, coming eye to eye with Cid. "Trust me." he whispered.

"The last time I trusted you, I missed out on a month of guitar practice because I was in detention." Cid said, "Count me out on this adventure." he said, packing up his backpack before shoving himself to his feet and moving into the crowd. Levi watched his long haired compatriot meld into the sea of students like so much cattle before he sighed with disappointment. It seemed that for now his discoveries would have to remain his.

In a school as old as Levi's, some classrooms were more cramped than others. It had been an artifact of smaller class sizes in the distant past. A dull clamor echoed across the English class as everyone filed into the shoe box sized learning environment. Three rows of desks were painfully close to each other on the south wall and a teacher's desk was nearly at a ninety degree angle to get it to fit off to one side by the only window.

A few students had riffled through their backpacks to withdraw the small dark blue paperback book with ominous eyes peering out from the cover, an old printing of the Great Gatby. Levi sunk down into his desk, relieved just to have made it before the bell rang. He yawned a bit, his spittle glistening on his teeth, the early morning light making them seem almost a bit yellower than usual.

"Alright class, we're going to start with silent reading for fifteen minutes and then we're going to start in on the movie for the rest of class. Remember, I want you comparing and contrasting, alright?" the teacher said.

"But Misses Kenneth, the bell hasn't-" the student was cut off by a bell as a general dinn of silence fell across the halls outside. Levi smirked and finally reached for his bag, throwing open the flap to dig through and find the book. He had been so lucky that the library had a spare copy after the school had run out of enough editions to issue. Levi started turning the pages before he paused. Something felt off, something felt different, or rather something looked different. There had been darkness where Levi hadn't expected - his fingertips.

The punk froze, looking at his hand. His fingers were as scuffed and scraped as ever, especially after his recent climb, but what stood out was that each of his fingernails was a deep, rich, almost shiny gunmetal grey. It looked like a perfect enamel coating, but as Levi turned his hand over, even the underside was dark.

"Oh my god, Levi, did you paint your nails? They look amazing! That's so bad ass!" A student next to and behind Levi whispered. Rory had been a bit of a geek, his dark blond hair messy and unkempt, nearly falling across his large round glasses. Thankfully he was a frequent patron of various t-shirt sites and almost always sported something artistic, hinting at his more exotic tastes.

"Silent... reading... for fifteen minutes." Misses Kenneth said in a warning tone. Rory gave Levi a thumbs up before he opened his book and tried to jump back in where he had left off. Levi turned his attention back forwards, but not to the book. He looked at both hands, wondering how and why his nails had changed color... but there was no denying, it really was a bad ass color. Levi reached to scratch his chest through his shirt, his finger bumping up against the stone spike he'd ripped off the gargoyle's shoulder. For just a moment Levi wondered if that could have been related, but how could it? They were just statues. Maybe he'd gotten into some chemical when he'd climbed to the roof, touched some insecticide or something. That had to be it...

Levi looked at his assigned reading and the eyes on the cover looked back until he finally opened it up and flipped a few pages in. He couldn't remember exactly where he'd left off, but the movie would show him what he needed to see. If he missed anything, he knew Rory would be there to dig him out of trouble. He hadn't lived an easy life, but sometimes his street smarts helped make up for any adversity.

Somewhere up above, the echo of basketballs hitting the gymnasium floor echoed like the school's heartbeat all around. It was constant, resonant, a little bit off tempo. Steam billowed out of the showers, creating a misty haze that filled the locker room. Dim lights hung above the lockers, catching through the gaps in the metal mesh, scattering spots of light like clusters of fireflies across the ancient cement floor. It all felt surreal, and yet oddly familiar to Levi. After all, in four years he'd had numerous PE classes - far more than he would have chosen to attend.

"Listen up, men. We're going to do things a little different this time..." The coach said, holding his clipboard to his chest. Coach Renning was a man in his late forties, maybe pushing fifty. His grey polo was tight over a body that seemed to be better sculpted than Levi remembered. His shorts hugged strong legs. He obviously practiced what he preached, and the baseball cap he had was weathered enough that the edges of the brim seemed to curl up a bit at the corners.

"Are we going to do it better?" One of the students chuckled. Levi gave a small grin despite himself, finishing changing into just his black t-shirt, his gym shorts and his old sneakers. Unlike most of the kids, he didn't have a spare set of anything other than the shorts... People would just have to make do with the scent if he managed to work up a sweat. He reached into his shirt, adjusting the spike necklace so it stayed put.

"No, we're going to embrace the world of some advanced calisthenics..." Coach Renning said before gesturing. The students moved out at a meandering pace, though Levi followed. He blended in a little more to his fellow students wearing just his gym clothes, though his blue mohawk and black nails still offered their sharp contrast.

The students moved up to the gymnasium. It stretched outward like some placid lake made of wood, but Renning did not turn that way. He turned to the right, passing the closed concession window used during the big games and proceeded to a double set of doors that had always remained locked. Despite Levi's disdain for gym, he watched with interest. It seemed that after four years that he was going to get an answer to a mystery that he never realized he craved the answer to.

Renning unlocked the doors and eased them open, reaching in to flip the lights on. Levi tried to lean one way and then the other, trying to get a clear look, to see what was beyond the doors. There was still the sticky humid air of the showers creeping about him from up the stairwell. Levi pushed through the other students before spilling into the room, his eyes widening. All around them, stretching back easily as far as a classroom went, was a set of gym equipment.

"The school could afford all of these?!" Levi asked. Renning smirked.

"The equipment is easy, the insurance is hard... But we got enough for one day and you boys have been working hard. Take your pick, hedgehog." Renning said. Levi grinned a little, though he wasn't entirely sure why. It had taken some diplomatic negotiations to arrive at that nickname and even more to come to some sense of peace. Levi didn't understand the need for most gym activities, but today? Today he felt the rush of testosterone running through him... Today he was ready to work out.

It was a bit of a blur around Levi as students moved to take on the equipment. Some went for free weights, others went for ellipticals, one even tried the ropes. Just as the basketballs had, the ropes started to slap the floor, adding the percussion of a heartbeat. Everything seemed to be taken up except for one device in the center. Levi didn't even know what its name was. He'd seen it on television, he'd seen it through the window of gyms, but today it was calling out to him - and he was ready to answer the call.

Levi approached the device that stood a good eight feet tall, holding a stack of weights suspended by a metal cord that ran up through the mechanism and out to the wings suspended over a small bench. Levi sat down and brought his arms up, bracing them against the wings. He looked around uncertainly before he tried to bring his arms together, realizing only then he had forgotten to check what the weight was set to. Thankfully, whatever it was didn't seem impossible.

Ever so slowly, the punk brought his arms in. The wings compressed, the cord pulled and the weights lifted. It was a strain, but Levi was making progress. He brought his elbows together, held them, waited, and then slowly released. The weights descended and made a clank as they returned to their starting point. Encouraged, Levi started to press again. Each rep ended with a clank, each effort came with the bouncing of the basketballs, the slamming of the ropes, the beating of his heart.

It seemed like each rep was getting easier rather than harder. Sweat beaded across Levi's brow, soaking into the dark hair there and running down around his eyes. A wet spot formed in his shirt, first across the chest and then slowly under the arms. He bore his teeth, he flexed his toes. He pressed in over and over, feeling the burn in his arms, his pecs, his whole body. He felt alive.

"That's it, Levi, keep up the work!" The coach said, making his rounds. Levi had never understood the devotion anyone gave to a team or school spirit, but in that moment he got it... They were celebrating his progress, his improvement, his potential. Levi let out a growl and pressed again, feeling the burn in his chest turn into an inferno. As he pressed, his pecs seemed to swell, hardening and growing at the same time. The metal clanked and they ached - not from the effort, but almost as if they craved more.

Levi went at it again, going faster and harder. The clanks came for every two bounces of the basketballs instead of four. His chest kept growing, but now his abs were too. The black sweat soaked shirt stretched and strained, hugging the cleft between his pecs, rising up to reveal his now flat stomach dappled with a forming eight pack. Even his sleeves grew tight as his biceps and triceps expanded.

Levi had always been a punk, but now he was getting ripped - quite literally. The old shirt started to pop, the collar splitting out before a portion of the chest tore. Levi couldn't stop. The rest of the room faded away until it was just him and the pec deck, working harder and faster. The changes extended past just his upper body. His ass cheeks tightened and hardened against the bench, his gym shorts constrained ever thickening legs, and his shoes seemed to moan and groan, warping and twisting until stitches popped, leather split and his toes burst out through the front, wiggling for all to see with the same gunmetal grey enamel look that his fingers had gained.

Tearing out of his own clothing wasn't enough to stop Levi. He kept going, pumping the iron, feeling the heat searing and burning its way through him. His shirt tore the rest of the way, the scraps falling off his jacket back as his neck thickened. Muscles he had never knew the name of before took on a new definition. Deltoids, glutes, even tendons were thickening and anchoring in new ways. His shoes continued to split out as his feet grew longer and wider, but the most dangerous change came from his toenails. They had started out grey, but now they were darkening as they stretched outward, thickening and curving, coming down to points where they tapped on the old cement floor.

Levi's turquoise blue hair was soaked with sweat, but soon his ears were as pointed as the fringes of his hair. His canine teeth sharpened in his mouth. His nails stretched into claws. Tiny freckles started to form across his face and back, even his arms, but they weren't the color of honey - the freckles were the color of ash and smoke. The grey pigment started to spread outward, spanning the punk's face, swirling across his shoulders and down his arms. His nipples turned purple and then black before grey pigment spread outward from them.

The changes were accelerating, sweeping across his body faster than Levi could think of and even if he wanted to, he couldn't anymore. His back creaked and throbbed, the grey skin rippling and shifting. Levi shouted each time he did a rep on the machine, feeling it push the changes through his body. Everything felt tight again, just like it had with his shirt before it had ripped. He pushed himself to do another rep, then another. This time he heard tearing, but it wasn't his shirt... it was his back. The muscles unfurled, the skin stretching outward as two massive wings unfurled, throwing off his center of gravity.

In the moment that Levi felt like he was falling over, he snapped to consciousness, jerking his body in the desk, waking up from the dream he had been having. A few of the other students looked over at him in confusion, one girl snickering a bit. Levi looked around at the dull egg-shell white walls and the yellow radiators, the desks in a row, the chalkboard covered with years of dust... He could smell everything, feel everything. Slowly he put the pieces of the puzzle together... He had been dreaming. Everything about the visit to the gym had been a dream...

Levi leaned back slowly in his seat, breathing a bit hard. He could feel that at least one part of him had remained hard. His election strained against the confines of his jeans and the underside of the desk, but it wasn't exactly alone... As Levi looked down at his shirt, it DID seem tighter. Was it possible that working out in a dream had somehow given him real life gains? Levi doubted it, but he did grin a bit, admiring just how good he looked.

The late afternoon sun came down in shallow angles across the city, extending under the shelf of clouds as it retreated from the skyline. The copper light glinted and shone off of every reflective material downtown, including the mirrored obsidian glass panels of the bank building. Levi walked down the sidewalk, his backpack hanging on by one strap from his shoulder. His shirt hugged his pert pecs tightly, a little bit of midriff showing down below. Levi had tried to attribute it to a growth spurt, but part of him replayed the daydream over and over again. As strange as it was, it brought a grin to his face.

There were other teens in the city, not to mention a gaggle of twenty somethings close to his age. Some were from his neighborhood, some from his school, others he'd never met. It was a bid city, but wherever Levi went, he usually got compliments on his hair. He loved having blue hair. It felt like freedom, like rebellion, like he'd found his own identity and embraced it. There was something so unique and liberating about it.

Levi walked with pride in his stride, though as he moved, the claw necklace seemed to shift, bumping back and forth between his pecs until the sharp edge grazed his skin, irritating it. Levi stopped, reaching up to adjust it, fondling around inside his shirt. A few people cast glances, finding it hard not to watch such a unique eighteen year old adjust himself. Levi got the necklace well situated, but as he did he felt a wave of dizziness sweep over him.

Levi turned to face the bank building, his hand pressing against the glass. He panted a bit, sweating a little as the vertigo swirled through his skull. He tried to hold on, looking down at the sidewalk for a moment before he looked back up. As he met eyes with his reflection, he saw a shifting in color - not in his nails that had already changed, but in his eyebrows.... And the stubble across his cheeks... and the shadow on his chin. Every dark hair he had not dyed was shifting, from root to tip, to the same vibrant shade of blue. His eyebrows were the biggest surprise. Instead of being two toned, the nearly flawless color made it seem that he simply grew blue hair... and it was spreading.

The slight dusting poking up from the collar of his shirt changed, and soon after the trail of hair across his now flat stomach blue shifted too. Levi was stunned, startled and amazed. He was half tempted to open his pants right then and there to see if he had a blue bush, but he was still in the middle of the street. He looked one way, then the other, seeing dozens of people in every direction. With great reluctance he stood back up, took a breath and started walking home, though he moved faster than before. For once he had something to look forward to when he got there.

****

Honks and horns echoed from the traffic outside, a sea of red tail lights glowing beneath the night's sky. A breeze had blown in, but it wasn't a sweet one. Levi's window was cracked anyway, giving him a bit of a view of the old newspaper building across the street with its dark semicircle windows like waves of glass and plaster. The one saving grace was that there was almost never anyone there to worry about when he took a little time to himself.

There was something symbiotic about living in the big city that appealed to Levi. That many people packed into an urban jungle and he was the only one of his kind. There was no air conditioning, no reliable heater. Whatever the city felt, he felt. Tonight it was hot and muggy, just like him. The television blared in the other room, a sign that he wouldn't be interrupted. Levi had retreated to his office chair, tipped back, his legs braced on the legs of his desk. His pants had been unzipped and tugged down, his shirt had been slid up. It exposed everything he needed, but kept the clothes just close enough in case of any interruptions.

Levi's hand had coiled around his manhood, rising up and down in slow, fluid, careful strokes. Just as he had anticipated, his bush had shifted to a vibrant, deep, true blue tone, as had his pits. Between the blue hair, grey nails and muscle growth, it was becoming clear that something had happened... and it was hard to ignore the only thing that had been anomalous in his life. The punk had extracted his home made necklace, the shoulder spike resting on top of his shirt between his pecs, the tip glinting in the light. The stone looked to be the same gunmetal grey as his nails - nails that had grown longer, sharper, and pointed in the course of a day.

A flurry of excitement shot through Levi's veins. It was clear that the gargoyle had the impact on him, but just how far could it go? How far did he want it to go? Would he stop it if he could? He didn't want to... It felt too perfect, it looked so right. Levi moaned, arching his back, thrusting his cock into his hand. His hips rose and fell, his balls churned, his heart raced. Levi squeezed hard, added his second hand and did everything he could to push himself over the edge.

Somewhere deep inside, Levi could feel the pressure build. It was an instinctive thing, a coordination between his brain and his loins. He'd been disappointed to realize that most of his semen didn't even come from his balls, it came from his prostate and various systems working together - but he could feel it now, all of those systems working together, bringing him toward his ultimate goal.

The punk panted and groaned, thrashing enough that his chair started to squeak. His heart was pounding heavier than ever, his veins bulged, his head throbbed. He squeezed and thrust and pulled and pushed and then he gasped. The pressure that had built up so high and so fast erupted - and not just from his cock. As Levi was washed over with the glow of orgasm and his very full, very ample cock started to let loose with jets of hot cum, another wave of relief came as the skin above Levi's temples split and allowed two new horns to break through.

It happened so suddenly and so fast that the pain was over in an instant. Levi wasn't even sure what had happened at first until he smelled the coppery tang of blood leaking down his forehead. He reached up to dabble at it, seeing crimson on his fingertips. He leaned forward to look at his reflection only to be greeted with two modest but respectable horns. Levi's jaw dropped as he reached up, running his fingers back and forth. They felt as hard as rock.

"Holy shit..." he whispered, feeling a bit of concern as to what the students would say, but a growing zeal at the idea that whatever they said, he had horns... and blue hair... and claws... He was a sexy beast, and no one could take that away from him. The swelling pride was potent enough to lull his cock back from its recent exertion and encouraged Levi to consider that he just might be up for a second round. As the punk gazed at his reflection, he admired his own horns while his clawed hands started to work his cock again, jacking off with a defiant fervor.

The steady, uneven growl of the diesel engines roared from the line of school busses outside, nearly muffling the chaotic symphony of the street noise. Rain had started to fall, making the old sidewalk slick and running down the side of the building in rivulets that turned each window into a transparent waterfall. Most of the teenagers were running into the school but Levi stepped over the threshold as if he owned the place.

It was hard to ignore how many people were giving Levi a second glance, their double takes met with grins of awe and envy or wide eyed stares of shock... although not quite for the reason Levi had expected. He'd noticed it on the way to school already. His horns had gotten thicker, his claws had gotten longer, but all his classmates seemed to see was that he shaved the sides of his head to make his mohawk seem bigger and even the stubble on his head was a rich, bright blue. People loved his style, and yet they didn't seem to see how much he was changing. It was infuriating and exciting all at the same time.

Levi strode down the hallway, most of the students parting to give him room to move. Chains swung from his jacket, the metal spikes on his shoes shone beneath the lights. He set a direct path to the alcove and to the metal head waiting there in. Cid looked up and his eyes widened in shock before turning into a mild grin - reaction B with a hint of reaction A.

"Dude, how did you get the dye job so perfect?" he asked, leaning closer, "Even your eyebrows? Your stubble? You didn't miss a single hair..." he whispered.

"That's all that you can see? Blue hair?" Levi asked, turning his head, trying to get the metal head to see his horns. Cid looked at him, his eyes narrowing as he studied him.

"No new piercings, right?" he asked. Levi shrugged.

"Not yet anyway..." he murmured, a bit disappointed. He took a long breath and sighed, shaking his head before he looked at Cid, "It's a shame, all I wanted was for you to say you'd join me on an adventure..."

"I will join you on an adventure." Cid replied, his eyes relaxing, his face looking more at ease than it had in months. Levi shook his head.

"I don't want you just humoring me." he smirked.

"I will not humor you." Cid replied, the same vague, distant expression on his face. Levi looked back in confusion and then concern before finally settling into curiosity.

"Jump up and down five times." Levi said. The long haired musically inclined teenager started to jump up and down before stopping again. Levi's lips pursed, "Tell me the most embarrassing music you enjoy." he said.

"Backstreet's Back..." Cid murmured. Levi looked around before he looked back into Cid's eyes for a moment. The vague expression melted away, replaced by a bit of a daze as he grinned in confusion, "Sorry, I guess my mind wandered off." Cid said. Levi made deep eye contact again and Cid's expression went blank again. Levi took a long breath to steady himself before he broke the spell once more, not wanting to push Cid too far.

"I better let you get to class, but we should hang out more later, okay?" Levi asked. Cid nodded at that, smiling.

"Yeah, maybe I'll take you up on that adventure idea you were talking about later. There really are gargoyles on the roof?" he asked. Levi smiled a bit.

"Oh yeah. Seems like there are gargoyles all over this school." Levi said softly.

The bell sounded, marking the end of free transit in the hallways after yet another block had come to an end. Levi meandered into the classroom, his eyes slowly moving along the rows of students. Conversations ended, the class grew quiet and then Levi met eyes with the teacher. All eyes were on him, the entire class still and motionless.

"Nothing I do in here today will be unusual or out of the ordinary. You all have better things to do than pay attention to me today." Levi said slowly and clearly. Once more he met eyes with them and slowly the din of conversation built back up, only this time they didn't seem to be paying him any attention. Levi knew it was a gamble and he also acknowledged the irony, but he had to see how far his new powers went, how far he could push them - and if pushing them would unlock something even greater.

Levi made his way down the narrow aisle, having to squeeze past the students that didn't make any room. He'd been mindful to put a time limit on his experiment in the event that they might not ever notice him again. He debated taking his normal seat but instead moved back to the last row in the corner, reaching over to tap Rory on the shoulder. The eighteen year old looked up from behind his round glasses, his dark blond hair falling across his eyes. As he locked with Levi's, he noticed for an instant that the punk's irises looked almost violet, but in that moment all thoughts drained away and Rory was left blank.

"Rory, are you gay?" Levi asked softly.

"I am not sure. I think I am bi, but that's just cause I liked kissing Emily Fisher. I look up pictures of guys on my phone..." Rory answered. Levi grinned a bit despite himself.

"Would you want to suck my cock if you had the chance?" Levi whispered.

"Oh yes, I'd do anything you wanted me to. It would be so cool if you noticed me." Rory said softly. Levi wasn't exactly sure how to feel at first, but he released Rory from his hold before moving over to the teacher's desk. She didn't look up right away but when Levi cleared his throat, he caught her with his gaze.

"Put on a movie for the class, turn out the lights, don't pay any attention to Rory today." Levi said. Almost at once she stood up and moved to the front of the class, setting up the digital player. The students bounced up and down in delight, excited that the apparent test that had been scheduled was postponed. The shades were drawn, obscuring the rain from outside and casting darkness across the classroom.

Levi was a bit surprised how much better he felt as the room got darker. His joints felt looser, his bones stopped aching. He looked down at the spike necklace resting on his chest. There was no denying that he was changing, but it was too good to resist. He was becoming something more, something better, and he wanted to have as much fun as he could. Levi settled back down in his new desk before he reached over, tapping Rory on the shoulder. The blond turned around, chewing on his number two pencil.

"Rory... I'm really horny... Think you can help a guy out?" Levi asked, leaning back, reaching down to grope and rub the rather large bulge in his pants. The pencil fell out of Rory's mouth when his jaw dropped.

"Wh... What?" he whispered in shock. Levi put on a rather pathetic looking expression.

"I'm really, really horny... I'm so full I'm going to explode. You're the only one that can help me. Please, Rory..." Levi begged. Rory flushed red, blushing furiously, but a faint fluttering grin nervously crossed his lips.

"Here? Now?" he asked. Levi grinned.

"It's dark, everyone's watching the movie. No one will see you beneath my desk." Levi said. Rory looked around nervously, trying to make sure no one would see, but when he turned back the punk had already unzipped his pants and withdrawn his rather full, rather thick, rather long manhood. He moved his hand up and down languidly, stretching the skin up and down the length, letting it kiss the swollen, oddly blunt tip of his shaft.

Rory felt like his heart was up in his throat, but his wildest fantasies were coming true. For some reason it didn't seem odd at all that Levi was masturbating in class. Why wouldn't he with a tool like that? But to join him, to pleasure him, that seemed like the true adventure. Rory took one last careful glance around before he slipped out of his desk, crouched down and waddled over. It took some maneuvering to get down onto the floor, but Levi kicked his backpack out of the way and spread his legs wide to make room.

The punk looked down at the nerd positioning himself between his legs. Rory reached up carefully, slowly caressing Levi's shaft before his fingers coiled around it. He pulled it down, angling it toward himself before he leaned in. His supple lips parted and his tongue darted out, teasing the tip. He murmured a little before leaning in closer. Rory's lips parted, spreading across the head of Levi's cock before he began to suckle and slurp, taking in a little more at a time.

Levi moaned, grabbing onto the desk, his fingers gripping at the laminated pressboard until his knuckles changed color. Normally they would have turned white, but this time they were getting darker, taking on an almost greyish hue. He bore his teeth, teeth that were getting sharper, one hand reaching down. His clawed fingers dug into Rory's hair, pulling him down further. Rory began to bob his head up and down greedily and Levi helped him, lifting his hips a little.

What started as a subtle, gentle movement in the corner of the class started to get a bit louder, a bit rougher, a bit more intimate. The desk started to creak and groan, even sliding back and forth a bit. Levi took the cock down as deeply as he could, or at least as deep as he thought he could. With some gentle coaxing from the clawed hand holding his head, Rory's skull was repositioned and the cock began to bump and grind against the back of his throat. To both of their surprise, everything seemed to line up just right as Levi thrust, feeling the engulfing silky heat of a much longer, much deeper passage.

Levi snarled and sneered, unable to hold back his facial expressions. It felt so right, so amazing to be deep throating Rory. The nerd's long, welcoming throat pulled and tugged on his cock. It almost felt harder to pull back after thrusting in, as if his throat didn't want to give it up. Each time Levi pulled back, his cock felt like it was being stretched. He'd thrust in and get another half an inch, then pull back and be just as deep. After a few times, the feeling made Levi start to feel more powerful, more manly.

The punk grabbed onto the desk and went at it full bore, shaking Rory's body with the intensity of it. His throat bulged with his friend's huge cock, eyes glazed over and squeezed shut as that cock inched down closer and closer to his stomach. Levi was drunk with lust and power and Rory was fueling the fire. Levi couldn't even imagine how big he was. Maybe this was another daydream, but it felt so real, so perfect, so right, so -

All thoughts were wiped out from Levi's mind as he hit the point of no return. His orgasm blossomed across his brain and his loins at the same time, spreading out like the blast of a supernova. His huge cock pulsed and convulsed before thick jets of oddly slick, syrupy cum began pumping down Rory's throat. The nerd was shocked and surprised, though he welcomed it. The cock felt so alive in his mouth and he did his best to gulp down the cum being sprayed into his belly.

Levi came for what felt like an eternity, but he could feel his flow slowing and his strength fading. He leaned back in his desk, pulling back slowly. Rory reluctantly let the shaft slide back, though his eyes widened with a bit of confusion. It seemed like Levi was taking out way more than he'd put in and Rory felt almost like a sword swallower. As Levi got almost all the way out, Rory latched onto the fat head of the cock, suckling the last few drops of cum.

The punk growled happily, reaching down to sink his clawed fingers into Rory's hair... but as he looked down in the dim classroom, the nerd's hair seemed... different somehow. The dark blond was darker, the tint and hue was off. Levi slowly scooted a little, trying to get a better look. His eyes widened with surprise when he realized that Rory was no longer blond. His hair had taken on a green tinge, the shade of freshly mowed grass. Levi wasn't sure what it meant, exactly, but it did mean that it wasn't just him that could change. Whatever was going on, he could pass it on...

The even click-click-click of the school clock echoed from within its wooden frame, the seconds passing by in sound as well as in reality. Cid sighed softly, leaning against the trophy case, looking over at Rory who was admiring his freshly painted nails. The school had emptied after classes had ended and everyone in their right mind had long since fled the prison. Even the teachers had left since no one had wound up in detention for once.

"You're sure he said he'd be here?" Cid asked, brushing his hair back over his shoulder. Rory looked up with a grin and nodded.

"Yep, he said the time was finally right to take us on an adventure." Rory said. Despite his usually grim attitude, Cid seemed to grow more relaxed at mention of the adventure. He seemed to open up a little more.

"What color did you go with?" Cid asked curiously. Rory brightened up, showing off his nails with great pride.

"It's called Hard Rock Life. Somehow it spoke to me." Rory said. Cid smiled a little at that, though he turned as he heard a door close down the hallway. They both turned, for a moment not sure who they were looking at until they saw the blue mohawk. In just a few short days, Levi had grown in more ways than one.

The punk advanced toward them step by step, having to wear a new pair of shoes to accommodate larger feet and the claws that extended from them. His old jacket no longer fit his broader shoulders or fuller chest, nor did his band shirts. He'd opted for a tank top that seemed almost criminally narrow, showing off his arms, shoulders and his ribs, the strip barely wide enough to hide his pert nipples. Even his pants seemed tight, showing off his muscled ass and his thicker legs.

"Did you start doing steroids or something?" Cid asked in disbelief. Levi cracked a grin, showing off a canine tooth that was far too sharp.

"Nah, just a lot of exercise... Which I hope you're up for. We're going to head to the roof." Levi said.

"Won't we get in trouble? What if someone catches us?" Rory asked nervously. Levi shook his head.

"Only the janitors are still here, and they won't be bothering us. We have the place to ourselves. I hope you boys are ready for a bit of a climb." Levi grinned.

The sky had been painted with the colors of the setting sun, streaking across the skyline and reflecting off of the skyscrapers. Levi felt exhilarated to finally be able to share his discovery with Rory and Cid. His heart raced with excitement as he bounded up the fire escape. He'd left his shoes behind, his clawed feet feeling far more natural as they gripped the metal steps. His clawed hands gripped the hand rails and used it to pull himself upward, advancing with strength and ease - so much so that he had to come to a stop and look back at his cohorts.

"Come on guys, we're almost there!" Levi said, his purple eyes shining in the little light that remained. Cid glared up at Levi, pushing himself little by little.

"This better be worth it." he grumbled. Rory panted behind him, trying his best to keep up, his green hair whipping against his face in the wind.

"Just think, how many other guys have been to the roof? Even that alone is cool." Rory said. Cid sighed and kept going.

"You set your bar way too low." Cid murmured. Levi grinned and turned, continuing on his advance. He rounded the corner and ascended the last flight of stairs, passing the layer of ivy and coming up to the rooftop. He pushed himself up over the edge and onto the roof. It looked even more amazing beneath the sunset. The gazebo was almost magical, a faint glow coming from the skylight that rose up from the center like a pyramid... but the most interesting part were the gargoyles.

Levi took a few steps, looking at the crouched one, then the one that looked like a dog, then the guardian. He took a few more steps toward it before he paused, realizing something didn't quite add up... He had expected the statue to seem lopsided and uneven. After all, he'd broken off a huge spike from his shoulder. The gargoyle did look a little uneven with a huge spike on his right shoulder, but the left side had a slightly smaller spike curing out from the spot where Levi had broken one off. The punk reached down, pulling his necklace out, looking at the jagged, irregular piece of stone.

"Wow..." Cid whispered, pulling himself up onto the roof. He looked around with wonder, "This would make a great album cover..." he said, walking carefully over the ivy before he got onto more solid ground. He moved over to look at the crouched gargoyle, admiring the detail. At long last, Rory made it up to the rooftop, grinning ear to ear. He had to adjust his glasses a little before seating them back on his face.

"Wow! I wonder if people ever used to come up here! It'd look really good with some lanterns or something." Rory considered.

Somewhere in the back of his mind, Levi heard his friends talking, but he was frozen in place looking at the curved spike he'd fashioned into a necklace and the almost exact duplicate curving up from the gargoyle he'd vandalized. It was almost as if someone had been adding the stone back layer by layer, or more like... it had been healing itself. Levi stood there in doubt and confusion even as the sun finished setting beyond the horizon, the only remaining light coming from what was scattered through the atmosphere.

"This one's so metal, he's got spikes from his wrists!" Cid grinned. Rory smirked from across the roof, crouching down.

"Maybe so, but this one's the best. He's like a puppy!" Rory grinned.

"Guys... Something's not right..." Levi said softly, though his voice was almost overwhelmed by the wind, the other two not hearing him. A set of solid black eyes slowly opened, turning to regard the punk.

"You're right... If you're going to wear the spikes of our clan, you have to wear it correctly." A deep, resonant voice said. Levi gasped as the gargoyle guardian moved, grabbing the shoulder spike from his neck. In one swift motion he brought it up, then crashing down into Levi's exposed shoulder. He yelped in shock as the stone hit his tender flesh, but it did not cut the skin or smash the bone - it merged with him. Levi crumpled to his knees, gasping sharply as he felt a searing heat leech down into his shoulder. The stone spike softened slightly, taking on a bony-leathery consistency, but the edge of where it stopped and Levi started began to blur.

"Levi!" Rory exclaimed in shock, but two more solid black eyes opened behind him. The feral dog-like gargoyle pounced, pinning the nerd to the roof. Rory gasped and tried to get away, but every side of him was pinned by huge clawed paws. Cid was no better off, a huge clawed hand wrapping around his neck while a spiked tail coiled around his leg. Levi shuddered, panting hard, feeling the heat spreading out across his shoulders and down his spine. The freckles across his back were turning from dull brown to deep grey, growing wider.

"What... are you?" Levi asked. The gargoyle slowly flexed and moved, its body shifting with the light of day gone. The grey faded away from the guardian's hair, revealing it to be a deep dark black. His skin remained grey, but his wings had a faint purple tint to the leathery membrane as they spread out behind him. His tail flicked, the tip creating a spark as it scraped across the rooftop.

"You know what we are, Levi." the gargoyle growled, "We are guardians of this place, just like you said. We protect this school and all the children in it from evil - at least as much as we can. Occasionally there are some bad apples, but we have ways of dealing with those as well." he said, watching as the splotches of grey spread across the punk's back. Levi gasped suddenly, feeling his vertebrae grow and reshape beneath his skin. The flesh protruded as lump after lump formed before the skin split and dark blue spikes pushed through. Levi fell forward onto all fours, his clawed hands splayed.

"This one is rather handsome, Warock... He's already got some spikes of his own." The gargoyle near the edge said, looking Cid over. He had risen to his full height of seven feet, his skin turning from grey to a rusty reddish brown. His hair had taken on a fiery orange hue, complimented by a long tuft of it that dropped down from his muzzled chin. The gargoyle's eyes shifted from black to purple, looking deep into Cid's eyes. Cid stopped struggling, his body relaxing. The gargoyle let him go and took a step back, reaching down to hoist up a rather monstrous fourteen inch member that ended in a blunt, equine like tip. The gargoyle grinned, "Do you want to grow yourself some real spikes, boy?"

"Oji!" Warock growled.

"He is of age, eighteen years..." The fiery gargoyle snarled.

"This isn't about them." Warock replied.

"Isn't it? They all know about us, and you started claiming your own." Oji said, "He's already growing his tail..." he added. Warock looked down, watching Levi squirm and writhe. His blue mohawk led down to a row of blue spinal spikes, guiding the eye right to where a wriggling, shifting, growing nub of flesh had pushed out from the cleft of his ass cheeks. It extruded out inch after inch, the tip flattening out to a spade. Levi looked up, his purple eyes watering as a spike began to emerge from his other shoulder to try and catch up to the first. Warock murmured.

"That is different, he broke off a piece of me, wore it like jewelry, flaunted knowledge of us and shared it around... The only justice was to make him our fourth." Warock said. Oji snorted at that.

"Who ever said it had to be just four? No one comes up here, no one will know. Think how much more we could accomplish. Besides, it looks as if Amag has already started." Oji said, tipping his horned head. Warock turned, seeing a sight he had not quite anticipated. The feral gargoyle had started mounting Rory, apparently to their mutual satisfaction. The feral beast was a mix of deep red, black and grey with spinal spikes large enough to look like the plates of a stegosaurus. His tail whipped back and forth with glee as his muzzled head nuzzled Rory's green hair. A fat, dripping canid cock plunged in and out of the student's ass, pistoning through a hole torn in the fabric by one of the claws.

"Amag..." Warock murmured, watching as Rory's moaning mouth began to fill with fangs - fangs that grew too large to be contained in his human skull until his jaw began to push forward, then his nose to join it. The young man's face warped and twisted as it took on a muzzle, his nose stretching out, taking on slits. His pert bubble butt turned grey, stained and corrupted by the beast mounting him. It wrapped around his waist, staining his manhood as it bloated and stretched, growing fuller and larger than it ever had been before.

Oji grinned, deciding that the moment of distraction was all he needed. He turned his head and leaned in, kissing Cid. With the breaking of his eye contact, the hypnosis melted away. For a moment Cid was shocked that he was being kissed, let alone by a being with a forked tongue, but after a moment of shock he started to give into it. It felt oddly hot, forbidden, even dangerous. As they kissed, Cid's immature mustache began to thicken, the strands of peachy brown hair growing richer, taking on a deep fall red color.

Warock said nothing, knowing just how long his allies had been pent up. As much as he wanted to try and associate his decision with justice, he had to admit that the thought had crossed his mind. He looked down at Levi on the ground, his tail thrashing, his back bulging and shifting. He had taken steps for the punk to learn his lesson the hard way, but seeing how the others were going about it, that didn't exactly seem fair. The guardian reached down, using his claw. He drew it across part of Levi's back where the skin seemed the most strained.

A great sense of relief exploded in Levi as the squirming, tight knot of muscle in his back suddenly unfurled. A great and mighty wing snapped out from his back, the leathery flesh spread tight between ribs of bone. With a little more effort, he got the other side to unfurl. The pain melted away, replaced with pleasure. Levi panted deeply, his wings spread, his tail stretched... but it was far from over. The modest horns that he had been wearing proudly began to thicken, growing wider at the base before pushing out further. They curved upward, rising taller and prouder.

The grey staining crept up across Levi's throat, sweeping across the flesh, making his electric blue facial hair stand out even more in contrast. As it spread over his ears, they started to stretch taller, taking on a more distinct point. The grey crossed his lips, spread across the bridge of his nose and swept up around his temples, framing his blue mohawk. The coloring had already covered his back, his chest, his hips and was starting down his legs. It even spiraled up along his cock, finishing the engorged member's transformation into the leathery weapon that it was meant to be.

"Fuck... yes... more... Ungh!" Rory grunted, his voice sounding deeper as his ribs expanded outward, new muscles bulging and expanding from his arms and legs. Sickly, strange popping and snapping came as his joints reoriented themselves, shifting to something more akin to running on all fours. Amag had to shift slightly as Rory's new tail started growing outward, but soon it was sticking to the side, making plenty of room for the dark beast to keep claiming his prize.

Across the roof, Cid was lifted up by Oji. The metalhead wrapped his legs around the gargoyle's waist, finding the root of his tail an excellent anchor to hold onto. Oji thrust up as the rocker came down, his virgin ass impaled on a huge, blunt, equine member. Cid howled out more, his teeth sharpening into fangs. Oji started to fuck hard and fast, deeper and deeper. Cid felt the blood rushing through his body, boiling white hot. As Cid grabbed onto the gargoyle for support, the heat managed to reach the boiling point, hot spots forming across his shoulders, arms, and even wrists.

The bubbles of heat manifested in different ways, turning parts of Cid's flesh a deep, dark slate grey... but it was more than that. While Levi had grown a line of spikes, Cid was developing many more. The back and tops of his shoulders erupted with countless spikes, then sharper, longer ones pushed out from his wrists. His forehead burst with one set of horns, but then a larger, thicker set pushed out right behind them. His teeth sharpened, his ears pointed and a spiked tail began to descend behind him, swinging side to side as it reached a foot in length, then three, then more.

Levi panted hard, looking over at Rory, then back at Cid. He had done this, he had led them down the path. They were losing their humanity... but they did seem to be having a rather good time. Cid had always been so grumpy, Rory had always been so alone. In a strange way, it felt as if they had found their place, an alternative to the hard knocks that life so frequently wanted to give them. Levi looked back up at Warock, panting hard.

"You really protect people?" Levi panted, groaning as the grey stain wrapped around his ankles. As it started to spread across his feet, he could hear the bones pop and shift. His feet pushed out longer and wider, the claws sharpening and curving with new length. His feet grew from size eleven to thirteen, then sixteen, then twenty. In moments he was the owner of broad, thick, powerful paws that defied a conventional shoe size... and the very last bit of pale flesh was gone. Levi was grey from horn to claw.

"We do... We communicate with others of our kind when the wind and the water pass across our bodies, we fight threats the humans do not know exist. We keep the children safe so they can learn and grow and carry on your kind." Warock murmured.

"I am sorry I broke your shoulder. I'm glad it's healing..." Levi said sheepishly, though he broke eye contact, his eyes watering as the white darkened, the purple disappearing into a sea of black as they shifted. He looked back up uncertainty. Warock murmured despite himself, feeling a bit bad that he had forced it onto the young punk. Still, it was too late now. He offered Levi a hand. Levi accepted it, clawed fingers entwining. Warock pulled the punk to his feet before he grabbed onto him and pulled him close. Levi gasped, feeling cock against cock, hot muscled body against hot muscled body.

"You can make it up to me." Warock said, "If you wish to." he added a little more shyly. Levi looked over, watching the last of Rory's humanity disappear until he was a drooling, panting beast of a gargoyle dog being mated by another that had knotted in his ass. Rory's new canine cock erupted with silky, syrupy grey cum that splashed across the rooftop, sizzling as it hit. Another moan sounded from the other corner of the roof as Cid's new wings burst open, burgundy and translucent beneath the moonlight. He had kept his mostly human face, though it was full of fangs and his skin was nearly jet black.

"Like that?" Levi asked. Warock grinned a bit wryly.

"Something like that." The black haired gargoyle said. Levi grinned and pressed his hips in, squeezing their cocks tight. He started to gyrate and shift, grinding and humping, picking up the pace. As he went he increased the friction before bringing his head closer, nuzzling into that fat, thick, meaty pec. His tongue started to bat at the thick nipple, circling it and teasing it, making the gargoyle sneer and growl before Levi latched on.

Warock grunted at that, arching his back, his wings unfolding and stretching to their full length. Levi went at it, tugging and teething, teasing and gnawing. Warock growled harder and harder, his shaft stretching to eighteen inches, then twenty. Levi kept going, not letting up. He hadn't had a lot of experience, but what little he had made him hunger for more. He suddenly traded pecs, accosting the guardian's other nipple. The gargoyle let out such a deep, resonating growl that vibrations spread out across the roof, making the bits of loose gravel and tar paper dance and shake.

Feeling their leader submit to such pleasures of the flesh, Oji gasped and came, pumping Cid's newly gargoyle ass full of the syrupy, thick seed. Cid writhed, even more spikes extruding from his back. His long mane of hair now a dark blood like red. Oji slowly lowered to the ground, resting on his knees, leaning back to allow gravity to keep Cid on him. All that was left was their leader and their new recruit.

The two frotted and ground, humping each other, coaxing out every last bit of length they had. Warock's blood boiled as he embraced it, feeling the power and the release. It had been so long since he had given into the pleasures of the flesh - too long. He groaned and then, in a swift move, came down to bite down on Levi's shoulder. The punk gasped and moaned, though his new hide was thick enough to defend against sharp edges. It was tough like leather, but the pleasure was still there. He howled and came, his cock erupting with a geyser of seed as it shifted from human to gargoyle. As impressive as his load was, though, it was nothing compared to Warock's.

When the guardian came, it exploded in sheets of sizzling seed. It splattered across Levi's chest and stomach, dribbling down his legs before falling to the roof. It hissed and steamed, disappearing in a few more moments. The two embraced their orgasm with various degrees of success, shuddering and shaking, riding it out until there was no more to give. At long last Levi started to slump but Warock caught him, holding him up. The new recruit looked up at the guardian, his eyes shifting back from black to purple.

"What will happen to us now?" he whispered softly. Warock gave the most reassuring smile he could.

"You... will become protectors of this school, this city, of the humans. You will be memories of those you left behind, foggy and distant like legends. You will live a long life and feel the fulfillment of your new destiny." Warock said softly. Levi nodded, accepting that part of it before he looked at the others and then back.

"We won't have to wait as long as you did before doing this again, will we?" Levi asked. If Warock had been capable of blushing, he would have.

"No, I think we waited far too long. This... should be a far more regular event." The guardian said. Levi grinned at that and nodded, kissing the gargoyle's thick, pert chest.

"Good, then I think I can roll with it." Levi said. Warock grinned more deviously.

"Rock and roll with it?" he asked. Levi scrunched up his face at that before he leaned his head against the gargoyle's chest, holding on and feeling the heat. He'd always known he had been different, that life held a different path for him. He just had never imagined how different it was until now.
