Father-Son Scuffle

Tarion III

10:00 AM - The next day

Cailus looked over the saved security feeds that were taken from Runefield Asylum the day prior, alongside his trusted aid and bodyguard, the Sephartian dragon, Bishop Jaren. Bishop adorned thick horns on his head that grew from the back, with spikes going down the center of his back that faded in height from his shoulder blades down. His scales were colored a metallic black, except for the scales on the front of his chest that went down to his groin and around his inner thighs. Those bore a dark, blood-red color, and his eyes bore a dark shade of gold.

The shiny scales that covered Bishop's body could deflect laser fire on their own without the aid of any type of shielding. He stood at a height of eleven feet, and his muscle mass was extremely well-built, rock-solid to the touch. His shoulder blades carried a pair of powerful, thick-skinned dragon wings that spanned nine feet on each side that he could use to fly around distances up to a maximum of 30 kilometers, along with a whip-like tail that measured as long as he was tall, which completed his physical appearance. Though Bishop could also fold his massive wings around him like a cape.

Bishop dressed in a very simple way: He never wore armor at all, seeing that his durable scales, along with his thick and solid layers of muscle could easily let him withstand most attacks. No, he only wore simple clothing: Loose-fitting monk-style martial arts pants covered his lower half, while the only thing he wore on his torso was a pair of bracers. That, and a beaded necklace with a jeweled pendant that rested on the center of his chest, along with a few piercings in one of his eyebrow ridges, and ears, as well as with a few gold rings around his horns with a golden bracelet on his right wrist.

Bishop watched as Cailus glared at the blurred individuals that were shown on the cameras, rampaging through the facility. From what the management of the Asylum told him, three muscular, powerful, and gaunt individuals had stormed the building and shot up the place: A unicorn, a tiger, and a lion according to witnesses. They had not only utterly trashed the place but had also broke his brother out during the assault.

Half of the hospital's staff, along with most of the security personnel had been either beaten, maimed, or shot with high-caliber laser guns. The costs for repairing the asylum, along with hiring new staff and taking care of injury settlements with the current staff, the majority of which had been fired, were astronomical. This was sure to cause moderate injury to Cailus's wallet at the most. Regardless, he wasn't happy about it one bit.

As they watched and cycled through the feeds, they noticed that the cameras were unable to identify the attackers, as when they were shown on the cameras, they were nothing but undistinguishable, pixelated blurs. Seeing that the individuals could not be identified on camera only complicated things more, as without solid identification, law enforcement could not act. Cailus and Bishop weren't stupid, they knew plenty about camera jammers. As the feed continued its playback, it was obvious that the intruders had used such devices.

Cailus growled in anger, his teeth clenched as he watched and cycled through the cameras, watching as the intruders stormed into the secure ward. "This was brilliantly executed, Bishop... It infuriates me greatly." He finished as the intruders carried off his brother, running away from the secure ward.

"It annoys me as well, sir." Bishop agreed, his arms folded in a much calmer demeanor. "This was carried out much too-well. From the way they moved through the facility, along with how they carried out their actions, they had to have acquired a building schematic. Along with that, they took every possible precaution to avoid being identified. Not only that, but they planned this raid down to the letter, even going so far as to hire a skilled getaway driver."

"Yes, indeed." Cailus glared at the screen once he saw the getaway car: A black Audi SVX-4000, though the camera showed the windows only as a solid black, an identical contrast to the car's body. "It even seems the getaway driver took precautions to not be identified, as the security cameras couldn't penetrate the windows. The driver must have fitted his vehicle's windows with an image scrambling polymer... Very clever."

"Sir, who do you suppose did this?" Bishop asked. "Do you think the Gate Fixer Gangs are trying to muscle their way back onto Tarion III?"

"To be honest, Bishop I have no idea..." Cailus growled, furious. "But when I find out who did this... I will hunt them down, and make them wish they hadn't..."

Egad Nob's Villa

2:00 PM

Galen, Uniko, Zhal, Jet, and Amon watched with mixtures of entertainment and embarrassment as Mick argued with Symon, both of their tones filled with knives. Tensions during the day between father and son had steadily been escalating, all culminating up to this point. The issue behind theses boiling tensions: Mick, after repairing the scratches on the Audi, had tracked down one of Cailus's local small businesses, and taking camera jammers and other necessary gadgets so he wouldn't be identified, ended up trashing it single-handed, as well as stealing a very high-end sports car from Cailus that was on site: A Lamborghini Diablo GT-VTX 4WD Twin-turbo, as payback for what he had to go through yesterday.

Symon was not at all happy at all when he found out. "Mick Vidan Daniels! Where in the bloody hell did you get that car from?!" He exclaimed with a facepalm.

"Isn't it obvious, dad?" Mick quipped. "I stole this from the person who was responsible for the nightmare I had to go through yesterday: Cailus Foxmoore. As for how I know, let's just say I did some research. After all the shit I had to go through yesterday with that police chase, the prick owes me this. He owes me the equivalent of a goddamn car."

"Oh, for fuck's sake, bloody goddammit son!" Symon yelled. "By the twin stars, do you ever think of these things before hand?! I wonder what goes on in that head of yours sometimes! Honestly, I feel at times you are trying to sign your own fucking death sentence!"

Mick let out a sarcastic laugh. "I'm trying to sign my_death sentence?! You say I'm trying to sign _my_death sentence?! When in fact _you_are the one who left home for _five years straight to jump into the Lylat Wars as a doctor, and you say _I'm_trying to sign _my_own death sentence?!! Dad, I cannot believe you can be such a goddamn hypocrite-"

"No, no, no, stop right there, Mick Daniels!" Symon cut him off and held up an index finger, shaking his hand with authority. "We are _not_having this conversation again, and don't you dare start playing that Lylat Wars card again! I was fighting for your own _bloody goddamn fucking freedom!!_Not to mention everyone else's! Maybe if you had enlisted _in_the CDF, instead of going on the whole 'rogue-badassery mercenary path' you enjoyed so much, maybe you would understand why I did that!"

"Oh, ho-ho-ho, I don't need anybody to tell me exactly_why you did that!" Mick countered. "Or did you forget the fact that I grew up in your household with mom for like say, oh, _18 years before I went on my 'badass-rogue mercenary path?' While all that time I kept hearing you in the living room while I was up in bed, saying stuff like 'Oh my god, why can't the CDF just watch its own back for once, why are we always_having to hire bloody mercenaries like Star Fox?! Why are we always having to spend money that could be funneled to _other purposes when instead we have to use it to hire mercenaries to save our goddamn asses form certain death and danger, and from the death of civilization as we know it?!' " Mick did a British accent impersonation, mocking his father.

"Mick Vidan Daniels, that is enough!" Symon shouted, putting his foot down. "I will not hear any more of this! I did what I did because I had to, and that's final! Now I will not hear any more about this, so shut your goddamn mouth before I shut if for you!"

"Oh, so you're now going to try and just shut me up, daddy-o?" Mick said as they started circling each other. "I'd like to see you try, old man!"

"Keep pressing the envelope and I will do more than try, you little punk!" Symon snarled as insults began to fly between the two.

"Then go ahead, give me your best you old bastard!"

"You are asking for it, you little choade!"

"Military Bitch!"

"Bisexual Bugger!"

"Over-Zealous Doctor Cunt!"

"Mercenary Faggot!"

"CDF Kiss-ass!"

"Oooh, alright THAT DOES IT, COME HERE!!!" Symon then got triggered, finally losing it as he pulled up one of his shirt sleeves. "I'm going to give you SUCH A THRASHING, YOUNG MAN!!!"

"Oh, please, daddy-o!" Mick retorted, cracking his knuckles. "You've been saying that for FIVE YEARS STRAIGHT!!!"

The two then tackled each other, wresting with one another as the heated argument came down to physical blows. Repeated punches and kicks flew back and forth between the two as they tumbled around the living room floor, fighting more like outraged luchadores rather than retired, military-trained personnel.

"Uh... Galen, do you think we should... separate them or something?" Zhal asked, motioning to the two as they stirred up a dust cloud, rolling around the living room floor.

Galen facepalmed. "I don't think it will do any good at this point. Just... let them get it out of their systems."

"My money is on the father." Uniko said, guessing who would win.

Jet meanwhile, watched the fight, laughing with glee and humor at the scene embracing his demonic side. "Oh, this is priceless..."

The fight only went on from there for about thirty seconds, until a sudden voice came from the hallway that led to the main bedroom.

"Oh, for fuck's sake!" Egad growled loudly with irritability, standing in the hallway dressed in a blue bathrobe, wearing nothing underneath except for a black thong, fresh bandages wrapped around his chest. He clearly did not approve of the scene. He stormed up to Mick and Symon, reaching into the fight swiftly and grabbing both by the scruff of their necks, lifting them up off their feet with surprising strength! Both father and son stopped fighting, clear shock on their faces from the sudden situation.

"Enough!" Egad snapped. "You two are supposed to be father and son, not goddamned enemies! START ACTING LIKE YOU REALLY CARE FOR EACH OTHER_FOR ONCE!!" Egad turned to Mick with an angry glare. "I get that you feel like he wasn't there for you because of the wars, but he was fighting for you to have your freedom! And Symon..." Egad then shifted his glare to Symon. "THAT IS YOUR FUCKING SON!! Stop toting around about your war record, and act like a Father _NOW THAT YOU CAN ACUTALLY BE THERE FOR HIM!!!"

With that, Egad dropped them both on the ground, as they landed on their rears with a combined thud! Both father and son just sat there, looking at Egad with shock while he went over to a nearby refrigerated liquor cabinet. Even Galen, Uniko, Zhal, Jet, and Amon just stood there in surprise. They had never seen this side of master before, not even when they were being punished!

Egad opened the cabinet, retrieving rows of glasses filled with ice, along with tall bottles of alcoholic drinks. Egad grabbed a glass with a bottle of scotch and walked over to the couch, setting the scotch and glass on the table. Egad then started pouring some into the glass, then stopped. He looked at the bottle for a few seconds, thinking. Then, he just shrugged his shoulders, rolling his eyes, and with a swift motion brought the bottle to his lips, glugging down the alcoholic beverage!

Amon let out a surprised gasp, struggling to come up with words. "I've... never seen master... drink straight scotch before... I didn't even know he had that kind of strength..."

Egad then stopped drinking, and paused for a moment, glancing over at his slaves in the room, sudden hunger lighting up his eyes as he looked them over. His ravenous gaze eventually stopped on Jet.

Egad snapped his fingers, and short, taunt chains quickly spawned from Jet's manacles, as they connected! They rendered the fennec immobile, his arms chained behind his back, and his legs chained together! Jet pulled at the chains a few times, sudden fear in his eyes as Egad walked up to the restrained fennec.

Egad then started dragging Jet down the hallway, hauling the squirming fennec by his chains as he started to protest. "M-master? W-what are yo- Y-you...W-what about your wounds, master?!"

Egad ignored the fennec as he dragged him through the door to the main bedroom, slamming the door shut behind him, slapping the lock secure.

"M-Master, please! Th-think... Thi-" They heard Jet as he started to plead with his master. Then, he was cut off by the repeating sound of moist, slapping flesh!

Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap! Slap!

The stated to hear Jet moaning loudly, crying out in sudden pain and pleasure, as a strange light engulfed the door with a foreign, mystical sound! The door shined for a moment, and then... Everything went quiet. Everyone looked on, quickly putting two and two together: Egad had somehow sound-sealed the door!

"... H-Holy... F-... Are you sure you grabbed the right Egad...?" Amon spoke up, looking at Galen with great surprise. "I-I've... never seen master like this..."

Mick and Symon stared on at the door, ever quiet. Then Mick spoke up. "Uhm... O-kay... Either I am having the weirdest sense of Deja-Vu, or I actually think I know that guy from somewhere..."
