#12 of Reborn From The Ashes: Tales of the Phoenix Coven

Chapter 12

Planning a Rescue

It had only been a few hours, yet the coven had made a lot of progress in that time on finding and rescuing Master Egad. The Elite Gallery spearheaded the efforts of the coven, everyone using skills they knew that would help find master to great effect.

Jet was especially helpful with his knowledge of computers and programming. Teaming up with Codec, their combined knowledge and efforts were incredible. Jet used his computer and code-cracking skills to great effect, and Codec's computing and processing power from the castle's supercomputers only amplified their productivity as they stealthily hacked and scoured every database that Cailus owned through the galactic internet, according to a list left behind by Master Egad.

While Jet and Codec were tracking down master's location, Chaos and Hatred had been directed to start learning how to pilot various vehicles via a "Virtual Reality Mind-Link Simulation" after Codec revealed the location of an underground vehicle bunker in an isolated section of the castle grounds, containing a variety of motor vehicles for land and air, as well as a luxury space yacht called Foxtail-1. The demon-wolf brothers would be needed to fly the vehicles that would transport them.

As for the rest of the Gallery, they were training with each other in combat. After Codec unlocked the weapons caches in the Citadel Room so they could learn how to handle them, Uniko was taking his turn on learning how to use firearms with Amon in the firing range, while Zhal, Galen, and Zarch sparred with each other, refreshing themselves on physical and unarmed combat.

"That's it, keep your guard up." Zhal said as he sparred with Galen and Zarch. They were quickly shaking off the dust from their martial arts skills as the techniques quickly came back to them.

After a few more hours in the Citadel Room, training and preparing, Jet let out an excited cry.

"Guys! Guys, we've found him!" Jet quickly typed some commands into the main terminal's keyboard. "We've found Master!"

Everyone stopped what they were doing, and ran up behind Jet, who was seated in a large chair in front of the main terminal.

"You've found him? Awesome, good work you two!" Galen praised both Codec and Jet, wiping some sweat from his brow. "So, where are they exactly?"

Jet brought up an info and image file, opening it with a swift click of the computer mouse. The picture popped open in a new window, showing a tall and large building with many barred windows. "Cailus has Master Egad held up in what I'm assuming is a mental institution, a prison for the insane... Yes, here it is. The place is called Runefield Asylum, and it's located in a metropolis called Moon City..."

Uniko raised an eyebrow. "Moon City? I've never heard of such a place... Nor have I seen anything like that on any continental maps..."

"Well, that's because Moon City is not located on this planet." Codec explained, bringing up a world map displaying all continents. The map then wrapped itself into a globe, and was placed into a large black void, filled with stars like the night sky. "We are here, on Vhaldaria..." The sphere then lit up a bright green. "...A planet in the Solaris Star Cluster, located in the Sagittarius Arm of our Galaxy, known as the Milky Way..." The star map then zoomed out, revealing the spiral shape of the Milky Way Galaxy. "...However, Moon City is on another planet, located in a star cluster close by, at least by Galactic Measurement Standards. Moon City is a metropolis located on a planet knows as Tarion III, located in the Valkyrie Star Cluster, twenty light-years away..." The screen the zoomed in on the Sagittarius arm, and a dotted line was then drawn on the screen from the green dot that represented Vhaldaria, going across the screen to another location on the map, highlighting Tarion III with a red dot. "To outline the distance, it would take twenty years for a beam of light to reach Tarion III if it was shined from Vhaldaria. Not to worry though, as we have vehicles at our disposal that can travel much faster than the speed of light that can get you there in a mere couple of hours." The screen then zoomed in fully on Tarion III, displaying the planet on the Galaxy Map, along with geological, geographic, political, and legal info. "The planet itself has a very warm, tropical environment. As for the residents of the planet, their attitudes are very tolerant and laid-back on many social issues, similar to some of the kingdoms here on Vhaldaria. Don't think that will let you get away with assault or murder, however: Tarion III has a strict law enforcement system, and they are adamant about keeping the peace and enforcing justice."

"I see..." Galen said. "Codec, can you bring up the layout of Runefield Asylum?"

"I can do better than that, Galen." Codec said proudly. "I'll show you an entire schematic and floorplan of the building." Codec then shrank the Galaxy Map on the main screen and brought up a three-dimensional, detailed schematic and floorplan of the entire asylum.

"Awesome, Codec!" Jet said. He then turned his attention to smaller screen near him, typing in commands as he brought up a data file from the asylum's database. "From what we've found, Master Egad is being held in the asylum under the false name, 'Terry Bravehart.' Though only the senior staff knows his real identity. From other information we have been able to dig up, they are keeping him on a sedative drip in the secure ward on the third floor." Jet clicked the floor plan, highlighting the secure ward. "That means some of us are going to have to go into the asylum and break him out."

"That's not going to be easy." Zhal said. "The Asylum's security would be simple enough, but by the time we get down to the ground floor with master, the authorities would surely be alerted and on their way."

"Perhaps I can help with that." Codec spoke up, bringing up a folder with a long list of names in individual files. "Master Egad keeps a database of talented pilots that can help him in these types of endeavors, known as Transporters. Think of them as exotic and dangerous couriers with vehicles who will transport anything for a fee. Now, let me narrow down the list to one that would have the best chance of success..." Codec then rapidly scrolled through the list, running calculations. "Let's see... Ah, here we are!" Codec then brought up a file with a picture of a young, bright red-orange colored fox with baby-blue eyes. The file also displayed a name, various info, qualifications, a track record of his jobs, and some personal notes left by master. "I believe this chap, who happens to be a local Transporter in Moon City would be our best bet. His name is Mick Daniels, and he has the greatest track record of all the local Transporters in the area. From what I see by notes left by Master Egad, he has hired Mick more than once with help in transporting delicate goods from R&D labs that had been reclaimed from Cailus. Though Egad has to play along with certain rules that Mick Daniels sets in place for these jobs."

"What kind of rules?" Zarch questioned.

"The kind that keeps everyone anonymous and safe, at least in Mick's eyes." Codec responded. "Luckily, Mick only has three of them. Rule 1: Never change the deal. Mick has outlined to master, that once a contract or 'deal' has been put into effect for a transporter job, that everyone sticks to that deal, and it doesn't change. If you do try to get wise with Mick and change the deal, he will literally leave you, or whatever you need transported on the side of the road and drive off without a bloody care. Rule 2: No names. Mick, when he has met with Egad on multiple occasions, has made it clear he does not want you telling him your name, or any specific details about yourself. He says that this gives everyone involved plausible deniability in the eyes of the law in case a deal goes awry. Now finally, Rule 3: Never tell me what's in the package. Mick will literally transport anything that can fit in his vehicle, as long as he isn't told what it is or know what it is. The only details he will want to know is the number of packages, total weight, and if the package is 'alive' or 'dead' if you catch my drift , along with pickup and drop-off locations. As long as you can abide by these rules, Mick will deliver."

Hatred looked at Mick's picture carefully. "Good choice, Codec. But I'm not sure he would fully agree to this type of job, and he might consider the deal changed once he finds out what we are actually doing. Is there any way we could make sure he complies with his end on the getaway?"

"Well, the best idea I can think of is getting to Mick through either his love interest, Xen Winchester, or his father, Symon Daniels." Codec then brought up two more files. One displayed a picture of a lion that almost looked like a mirror image of Galen, only the lion in the picture had fur that was dark-ashen gray, with a platinum-colored mane and a few scars over his left eye, with his eye color being a piercing blue. The Second file brought up another fox that looked like an older version of Mick, albeit with hazel-colored eyes and shorter hair. "I would lean more on using Symon, however. As Xen has physique that can match up to Galen's, along with combat training in various military aspects and a lot of field experience, as well as being a crack shot with various guns. You don't want to mess with Xen. Symon has military training as well, though his leans more towards the medical side of things. Trust me, going after Symon to get Mick to comply will be a much easier and quicker route."

"Then it's decided." Galen said. "Once we depart for Tarion III, we will find Mick. Then, we will hire him for the getaway. Once the deal is secure, we will then find Symon. Though I hate to say it, we may have to take him hostage to get Mick to comply. Then, we go to Runefield Asylum, break master out, and we will be home free."

"If it helps, Master Egad owns a resort house villa near Moon City that you can fall back to after the getaway." Codec brought up a picture of a costal villa, seated near a beach with a very picturesque view. "I'll make sure you have the address."

"Sounds like a plan." Uniko put a hand on Galen's shoulder. "So, when do we leave?"

Galen turned to Chaos and Hatred. "You got the hang of flying those vehicles, as well as the yacht?"

Chaos smiled with confidence. "We shouldn't have any trouble. We have been practicing all this time and both of us have photographic memory. It should be a piece of cake."

"Awesome!" Galen gave the duo a thumbs up. "In that case, let's leave tomorrow, at nine in the morning. Let's all be up and ready by then."

After everyone had prepared some new outfits for their trip to Tarion III, along with packing their normal ones to wear once they had Master Egad back, as well as some weapons, gadgets, and equipment, everyone was doing their best to wind down in the slave quarters, all of them naked.

Zarch was just starting to get into the first stages of an afterglow with Zhal, who was cuddled next to him in his bed. Zarch had his arms wrapped lovingly around the tiger, spooning, and fondling him passionately. Uniko had Hatred, Jet, and Chaos in his bed, the trio worshipping his muscles with licks and kisses while working on the unicorn's endowment with their hands.

Galen, however, was having trouble winding down, laying in his bed alone writing in one of his journals. He still had a lot on his mind with the rescue plan. That, and he was starting to get very hard from hearing the lewd and sexy moans from the coven, as well as the erotic slurps, and the wet sliding and slapping sounds of flesh. Galen finally got up, setting his journal and pen-quill on the nightstand. Then he quietly went up to a nearby window, carefully opening it so he didn't disturb anyone. Galen let out a quiet sigh, taking in the fresh air from the breeze.

He didn't notice Amon walk up behind him until he felt the rat's burly arms around his waist. Amon gently started to nuzzle Galen, slowly grinding his hard cock against Galen's rear, along with using a hand to start tweaking Galen's nipples, causing the lion to let out an erotic moan.

"I know you are tense and stressed, my coven brother." Amon whispered, giving Galen a kiss on the neck as his hand switched from tweaking Galen's nipple to stroking his cock. "Let me help you relax, and make the tension go away."

Galen wrapped his arms over Amon's leaning back into the rat's embrace, taking in the sensations of ardor as he stood there, being stroked. "Oh, Amon... You always know how to make me feel good." Galen said, reaching one hand behind him, proceeding to grip the rat's thick cock and stroke it as well.

Amon and Galen then walked back over to his bed, pleasuring each other on the way with strokes, touches, and kisses. Eventually, both fell on top of the bed, with Amon on top of Galen. Amon then took Galen's hands into his, holding them down on the bed above the lion's head, though he wasn't doing it hard enough to harm the lion. That, and Galen wasn't resisting. Amon then leaned down onto Galen, their lips coming together in a deep, loving, and passionate kiss as their tongues wrestled in each other's mouths while they started grinding their cocks against each other, only beginning what they were thinking could be their last night together...
