Almost ready
The ride to Luke's place seemed to take ages and the silence was pressing down on Revan like an avalanche but was also grateful for it as well for it allowed him to stave off having to speak awhile longer, Come on your stronger than this youv'e been through so much worse then this. He thought angrily to himself and yet this surge of doubt and despair kept coming up and pulling him back down into their depths never loosening their hold. No he thought this is worse, because he had made his first friend with Luke though he didnt know it and now he was going to lose him for sure and he wouldnt lie to the bear he loved him too much no he was set on what he had to do. It had started to rain by the time they made it to the bears house and thunder and lighting were playing their duo as if sounding the end for Revan. Luke went and turned on the lights in the house and set about making some tea while Revan stood in the living room standing and looking between the door and the t.v. which was playing some horror movie. The bear could see Revan's anxiety though the wolf was doing an admirable job at making it look otherwise but from what he gathered from the call to his father and how Revan was acting it didn't take a genious to figure out what was going on and it was tearing his friend apart he could see that but he needed to know for sure to hear it from him, but would the wolf have the strength to open up? Time after time he knew the wolf did his best to keep everyone away but he let Luke close to him somewhat and he had hoped that he could help Revan grow sadly though it seemed his friend hid a much darker past then what he was just now discovering.
He made his way into the living room the wind making the tress outside the windows looking monstorous and life like, he offered the now sitting wolf a cup of tea which he took gratefully. Luke sat down across from his friend and looked at him before speaking. "Look Revan you know that if there was anything you needed to tell me or something that was bothering you no matter what it is I hope that you know that you can tell me what it is no matter what, and I know that you keep certain things a secret and it seems like its eating away at you finally and with your dad and that phone call when you were knocked out." Revan kept his eyes averted focusing them on the cup in front of him the doubt coming over him again feeling it gnaw at his gut like an ever present ache that seemed to never go away. His connection with Luke and everyone else meant everything to him and now he was sure that he was on the edge of losing it all. They sat there in the silence the only noise was the t.v. and the thunder from outside, Revan finally looked up a sort of sad resolve in his eyes as he spoke. "Luke you know I have never done anything to hurt you or anyone else and I am sorry for keeping these things from you but it was because I didn't want to lose all that I had finally gotten for the first time in my life." He took a small breath steeling his nerves ready for what he knew was about to happen. "I can only guess what," He gritted his teeth and tightned his hands which Luke took note of. "my father said to you when you called him, but as you can guess we never were really close in fact he threw me out of the house when I was in my junior year of highschool." He laughed bitterly at this. "Luke, before I continue I know that this will be the last conversation I will ever have with you so I want to say thank you for all the times you've given me all the experiences and the kindness." Revan looked at Luke steadily and he was holding himself back from crying. "Luke, the reason he threw me out was because I'm." "Gay." They both said together and Revan looked at the bear in surprise.
For awhile Revan sat there in shock before he found the words that were stuck in his throat. "You.....knew?" Was all he could say and looked like he was ready to bolt. Luke simply smiled and looked at the wolf saying. "Yes I knew when your father said what he did and then everything made sense from the way you keep anyone from getting close why your so private. But I didn't say anything because I wanted to see if you had the strength to tell me yourself and if you trusted me enough to say what was on your mind." Luke got up and walked over and sat next to the wolf putting a hand on his shoulder which made Revan flinch which he tried to hide because never before had someone done something so caring and intimate with him he was just to used to being hit and it was just normal to shrink away or fight. Luke noted how his friend flinched and how he tried to hide it. "Look Revan," Luke said sweetly his hand still on the wolf's shoulder. "When are you going to let me in?When are you going to open up to everyone? You dont have to worry about anyone leaving you anymore, so when are you going to open up to me and realize Im not going to leave you? Because as far as Im concerned your a loving, kind, intelligent, honorable courageous, selfless kind of guy and theres nothing wrong with you not a damn thing." Luke turned on the couch and brought the Wolf into a hug, which left Revan in a state of shock. So is this what its like, to have someone hold you and tell you they care about you? He thought to himself never before had anyone ever treat him like this he had only ever seen other people do this with someone else and he never thought of himself as deserving of it. But he found himself cautiously enjoying it and found, despite his efforts at fighting it back, hot tears beginning to flow and he shook and a soft sob left him. Revan pressed at Luke's chest trying to get away but found himself lost in this new emotion. Luke loosened his embrace on the wolf and looked down smiling before saying. "Revan you spend so much time trying to cut yourself off from your emotions and yet you find yourself wanting them, so when are you gonna allow yourself?" Revan looked down his hand still on Lukes chest not sure if he wanted to continue to be held or if he just wanted to get up and run, instead he looked up at Luke knowing he must look pathetic as he was fighting to hold back tears but couldn't really stop them. He said in a soft voice to the bear. "Thank you, Im so sorry for not opening up to you and trusting you as much as you have me." Luke looked down at his friend and merely smiled drawing the wolf back into an embrace and leaned back taking the wolf with him and turning so that he was he and the wolf were side ways. Revan fought against his instinct to push away and instead he just felt himself relax in the bear's arms resting his head in the bear's chest. Luke put his head on the wolf's and whispered lightly to him. "Its okay you dont have to fight anymore." Revan didn't say anything and instead just nuzzled closer to the bear's chest and for the first time in a long time he let himself fall asleep glad that he could shut his eyes without the fear of choking on darkness. Luke watched as the wolf sleeping and when he was certain he was fast asleep he gingerly picked up his friend and carried him to his bedroom where he lay him down and wrapped his arms around the wolf once more and finally drifted off to sleep, but he felt something stir within him but he didn't really know what it was. Revan woke up to the smeel of cooking from downstairs. Downstairs? He thought, didn't we fall asleep in the living room? Revan discarded theses early morning concersn and just concluded that Luke must have moved him.
He headed downstairs quitely not really sure what to expect. "Hey Revan how are you feeling now that you finally got some sleep?" Revan looked and found the bear who was wearing only a pair of black shorts coming in from the kitchen with two plates in his hands. "Good, umm thanks ya know for being there." Revan said now feeling somewhat embarressed he was still not used to having someone see him be emotional but he knew he would get over that in time.Luke looked at his friend a smile on his face. "Hey Im here for ya, and besides who would pick your butt up if some little girl kicked your knees?" Luke said jokinlgy reffering to the time Revan was forced to baby sit his 10 year old niece. Revan smiled and merely hopped down the last steps and pushed him playfully. They ate breakfast talking and joking like they always did soon they were packing up and getting ready for the school day back at college as exams were up and they were both fearful of their answers they would give despite being at the top of the class. The ride there was uneventful and both were talking about various things but all the mean while an uncertan feeling was setting on Luke a more confused then uncertain really. He knew that being as intamite as he was with Revan was really nothing new but he couldnt help but feel that something else was involved with what happened.
"So tell me more about your past now that we got the initail issue out of the way." Luke said in his usual serious/casual manner, Revan shifted in his seat a little uncomfortably and coughed a bit before saying in a low voice. "Can we talk about it after school and homework?" Luke agreed thinking it was probably to early to ask anyway but now he had a chance to finaly learn more about the wolf's past which was a rare enough thing to begin with. They arrived at school a good half hour early, Revan got out of the car and stretched taking a deep breath, He saw a reflection in the glass and whipped around fast and blocked a punch that was aimed at his head. "Ohh good one you caught me this tiime though I gotta say your getting slow in the morning." Seopharic said laughing his voice carrying through the parking lot. Revan merely smiled as he aimed a kick for Seopharic's midsection which he dodged effortlessy and jumped up on the trunk a car and taunted Revan. He looked up at Seopharic and began his own barrage of attacks this was there usual routine in the mornings the guards were so used to seeing this happen that they would place bets on who would win the next match, it became sort of a competition for them. Luke merely shook his head but was glad to see the normalcy of it make Revan happy and again that feeling returned what was it that was making him feel so so what? The fight went on with Revan pressing the attack but neither would give up until there was a clear victor. Revan leaped back and ran and flipped off a nearby wall and ended up behind Seopharic and proceeded to bind him in a submission hold. "Do you give up?" Seopharic merely smiled and put his index finger and thumb around Revan's pressure point which was located in the center of his fingernail which was also known as thumb idea as the pain traves up the ulna and towards the upper arm. Revan let go and dodged a blow to his face and jumped atop a black jeep's hood and jumped towards Seo kicking away a defensive arm and pushed him to the ground he landed on top of Seo his left knee pinning Seo's arm the other in his chest he was restraining the other arm keeping a firm grip. He applied pressure to Seo's solar plexus with his knee until he was sure that something was goona break. "I give!" Seopharic gasped as Revan got up and offered a hand to help him up which he excepted. "So that puts it at five to four with me in the lead!" Revan said smiling.
