Thank you all so very much for reading!

This is a little thing I thought that would be fun that I'm adding onto all of my stories about Olivia. This particular story being The Dye Maker.

Hello everyone, I'm Olivia and this is my very first article here in Sycamore Groves. I hope you all treat me well and that my writings entertain and inform at least a few of you readers out there. So with having just moved into town I decided to partake in a hobby of mine that may be somewhat unpopular, which is fur dying, or in my case fleece.

And I met our local dye maker Tundra, who is a nice young man who makes all of his own dyes. If you stop by his shop almost everything in there is made by his own hands, it's honestly rather astonishing and such a lovely shop I would recommend stopping by even if just to window shop. The colors and everything make such a fun atmosphere and the shopkeeper himself is plenty friendly. Tundra was even nice enough to give me a little interview for my first piece.

"I believe that dye's aren't something just for the youth. It can be a bit pricey, and I know it's not for everyone. But I think it's worth it for those who really like to express themselves, you can dye your coat to be any color or combination of colors. I even offer my services of spray on dyes to make any pattern you could want."

And there you have it, I got to try this service as well and I can speak to his skills. The best part is that the dyes themselves are magic. Which amazed me, where I come from magic isn't exactly common. But the dyes can do all kinds of amazing things, for starters they can make your coat softer which is something I always welcome.

They also can work a bit like a shampoo, not as a replacement but they can change how you smell, or even how you look to an extent. You can even wear them in replacement of clothes, I've been assured it's quite safe though, I can assure everyone that you'll only see me walking around town properly dressed.

The dyes come in all sorts of colors too, including ones that are virtually impossible in a normal dye. My favorites that I was shown are one that glows, and one that changes into various colors over time. Tundra even does commissions, it's of course a real premium but, he says he is up to the challenge of trying to make new magic dyes if anyone has any interesting ideas.

As for me, I think that's about all I have to say about dyes. But I do hope this was interesting and perhaps educational in a way. As for me, I know I'm brand new to Sycamore Groves, but I would love to hear from all of you, you're free to send in letters or email me at OliviaViridescent@gmail.com. Is this place more magical than the city, have you seen any kind of interesting magic events you would like to share? Does anyone have interesting topics they would like me to write articles about? I'm always happy to hear suggestions, feed back, or really anything from my readers. I think that's it for me, so goodbye for now and I hope you all have a positively wonderful day!
