#1 of The Dye Maker

My first story staring Olivia, an innocent alpaca moving to a small town to escape the hardships of writing for a newspaper in a big city. But what sort of strange things will she encounter in the small town? And what sort of new creatures will she meet?

Hopefully not too cheesy, this story is pretty vanilla especially chapter 1 outright doesn't have sex. I promise chapter 2 does though, chapter 1 is more about the story, Olivia getting moved in and meeting a certain someone.

Olivia was an Alpaca with white fur. She wasn't especially tall for an alpaca though as most Alpaca's had, her neck was a bit long, putting her just a bit over 5 and a half feet. She was a young adult, having just recently become 22, Oliva was a fetching young adult, the girl had sizable C cups, a nice round rump, graspable thighs, and a figure that was more trim than it looked. though plenty of that was hidden behind her plentiful, fluffy, cozy, well kept fleece, which was always super soft and was short around her face and muzzle to help her see and eat. Her hands were dark colored, more of a very dark brown then outright black. And she had "hooved" feet, or as close as Alpaca's had to those. Said feet were a similar dark color to her hands, though unlike her feet despite the similar coloration her hands were soft and good for gripping things as much as most creatures.

Oliva had grown up in a big city and while there were things there she liked. It sometimes felt a little overwhelming due to the sheer amount of other animals around. But more importantly the news there was just something she had trouble stomaching. She had managed to get a job but her boss always wanted the alpaca to put a negative spin on her stories, and wanted her to always focus on the next big thing. It was hard to write what she wanted. It was kind of tough on her heart and her mind.

One day though Olivia got a call from her Aunt Daffodil, who had heard of the troubles from Oliva's mom. And was offered to move to the small town of Sycamore Groves it seemed like such a strange move but. Daffodil insisted it was a wonderful place, grassy greens as far as the eye could see, great company, great scenery, and Daffodil was the one who ran the paper there, the only one who ran the paper. And she insisted it would be nice to have someone else to do a lot of the leg work, and also just to have her favorite niece for company. It all was a bit sudden but, Oliva accepted, wanting to get away from her job and thinking that writing for a small town, with her Aunt sounded a lot more fun.

Some time passed, Oliva having put in her two weeks, and of course the days seemed a little condensed as they did when it came to travel. Lots of packing, packing clothes, deciding on what was important to bring in general, what if anything was just trash. Olivia ended up with most of her wardrobe intact, though she had noticed her supply of fleece dyes was running especially low. It was tempting to resupply but with moving costs and business she decided to worry about that after moving.

Eventually though the day came, Olivia got into something casual, a black and pink striped shirt which fit a bit loose. And a long black skirt, the kind that looked more like the bottom half of a dress and went most of the way down her knees. The alpaca took her flight, and met her Aunt at the airport which was a little ways away from town. It gave them time to catch up in person, it was interesting seeing Daffodil again after so long, her fleece was also well cared for, though it was a much more golden color. Daffodil, befitting her name wore a white dress with a beautiful floral pattern, the main color of said flowers strewn all over the dress design was red. Daffodil herself was pretty in her own ways, breasts just a bit bigger than Olivia's, she was also at least 15 years older. Though like she took good care of herself, the most unusual bit was the fleece on top of her head, styled forward to look like hair. The tips of her "hair" being dyed a bit of a gradient red, a darker red which turned into something a tad more eye catching as it went down but, it never got especially bright.

The main thing that stood out to Olivia was the fleece. The question came out before they even packed her bags into the car. "I didn't know you were into dye's auntie...Did it take awhile to style your fleece like that?" Daffodil smirked, and did a little motion to flip her hair, obviously rather happy to be asked about it. "Oh it takes a little bit but, I think it's worth it...As far as the dyes, I suppose I forgot to mention there was so much to talk about. We have someone who sells dyes in town, it's a lovely shop, and has quite the impressive supply too." Olivia seemed to brighten a bit at that, and once everything was packed in she got into said car.

"That's wonderful, I was honestly a little worried most of my shopping would have to be online as soon as I moved." Daffodil got the car started up and almost gave a little giggle. "I seem to have left a lot out...Well I'm sure there should be plenty to feed any shopping habits you have." She said and they were off. The trip took a good while even by car, well over an hour, still it was sped up a lot by having company. The two alpaca's happily sharing small talk about life changes, little interesting things about the town, Olivia spending a decent bit of time rambling about her old job and how excited she was to get away from it.

Eventually they arrived at Daffodil's residence, and the town in general though they hadn't passed many buildings on the way there. It was pretty big, made all the bigger looking given that half of it wasn't dedicated living space, and the other was for business. Once they actually got in, Olivia was pleasantly surprised, it was just as her aunt had described it. It was inviting, and surprisingly cozy, the outside hadn't been cold but there was a pleasant warmth in here. It was sort of hard to describe the building, not because it was all that strange. But it was obvious Daffodil didn't just follow some pre set designs, she sort of just picked out what she thought looked best for colors and furniture. The room itself had soothing light blue walls, the ceiling more of a cozy green, while the furniture had all sorts of different themes.

"I'll show you to your bedroom...And after that, make yourself at home. Must be weird to live with your aunt, but as I mentioned there aren't really a lot of apartments or anything for rent out here...Still my home is your home now, and I trust you to be responsible." Olivia smiled at that, beaming, it was a bit odd but somehow it was kind of just, relaxing. So far removed from modern homes or apartments it felt cozy and obviously to her aunts tastes. "Honestly I'm happy you'll have me, that you'll trust me in your home. And I think it's lovely, it seems so cozy and nice, I'm glad to be here...It's a bit odd, but I think it will be nice, I know you're not like mom." Olivia said she loved her mother but the woman was also so overbearing about everything. Daffodil gave a playful shiver as she showed the way to Olivia's room. "I couldn't if I wanted to be, did I ever tell you about the time, when we were kids, she caught me stealing cookies that mom was baking...I think it was for the girl scouts or something...Anyways I thought Rose was gonna tell our mom, instead I swear she gave me an earful worse then mom ever has." Daffodil gave a giggle and then a sigh. Before presenting Olivia's room.

Olivia's room was a little more plain, previously having been the guest bedroom it wasn't decorated with much in the way of custom anything, even the room colors felt more tame. "Sorry it's pretty barren outside of the bed but...I sort of thought it would be fun to decorate together once you are settled in and sure the small town life is for you." Olivia smiled and hugged her aunt. "Awww that sounds perfect, and I don't need anything elaborate, a bed and a place to keep my stuff is plenty. Though I look forward to hearing some of your ideas to spice things up...For now though..." Olivia felt a few things after a long trip as she let go of her aunt with a yawn. "I'm kind of starving...And super tired, sorry...I know you were excited to show me the town but its been a super long trip."

Daffodil ruffled Olivia's fleece on her head "Don't worry your pretty little head over it." Daffodil said with a smile. "Let me cook you up some of Daffodil's famous carrot stew, you just get yourself nice and comfy." Olivia found the phrase a bit weird but, she had heard Daffodil say it before, she meant well by it, probably. More importantly "That sounds lovely, thank you auntie" Olivia said, and got cozy.

The night continued on, carrot stew was had and enjoyed, maybe it was an odd dish for one to consider famous but honestly it was delicious. There was more small talk though somehow getting into a house and without the excitement of actively traveling, Olivia really did seem tuckered out, and eventually just settled into enjoying food. And after she was quite content to unpack just a little bit, and then settle into her new bed. It was wonderfully soft and plenty big, honestly it was almost surprising to see a guest bedroom with a queen sized bed. Still it was nice and cozy, settling into a new room in a new house was sort of hard but Olivia was tired enough that sleep came soon enough.

The first couple of days were nothing all too crazy, Olivia spent a bit more time unpacking, and exploring more of her Aunt's house, the most interesting things she was shown was her Aunt's bedroom. Which had all sorts of decorations seemingly from plenty of adventures, and a cool astronomer theme, the whole room dark and covered in "stars" painted on the walls and ceiling. Also aunt Daffodil had the largest bed Olivia had ever seen, she couldn't imagine what one would ever need a bed so big for but, also found it a strange thing to ask so, didn't. Olivia already didn't exactly feel all too comfortable exploring her Aunt's bedroom in the first place, asking for more details seemed a bit awkward.

The other thing was the actual work station, the computer Daffodil had was pretty standard, nothing crazy by today's standards, but she probably just used it for work. Either way the computer was hooked up to a very impressive printer "Here we are, I suppose this is what one would call the printing press?" Daffodil said with a shrug. "Either way it's where I print out all of the newspapers, and occasionally I print stuff by request, not everyone around here has a printer, or even a computer. Olivia was in awe, hardly even sure what to say about the sight, still it was fun seeing all of this stuff up close. After all writing the stuff in the newspapers didn't exactly mean you got to see them printed very often. "Isn't it a lot of work, writing and printing it all yourself?" Olivia asked as she continued to awe over the machine. "Well...It's a small town, news is rarely all that fast...But it can be a lot of work, and I can't be everywhere at once...Sometimes I barely even know what to write on really slow days but...That's why I hired you right? A fresh pair of eyes and ears to see the town and to take care of the leg work." Olivia nodded, somehow when put that way it sounded like she would be taking on a lot of work herself still she gave a little nod and then a smile. "Alright...I won't let you down!" she said excitedly, her aunt ruffled her fleece, happy her niece was so excited to get to work.

Olivia was finally getting settled in after a bit, she had gotten most of her things unpacked, mostly gotten herself over her jet lag and had even gone to the grocery store with her Auntie. There wasn't really much there she wasn't used to, aside from a lot more local brands. However she still wasn't quite sure where to even begin with work. Aunt Daffodil seemed to freestyle the paper a bit, at least the ones Olivia would be writing, there were local ads and more global news Daffodil would still be in charge of but. Olivia couldn't seem to get her Aunt to really describe what she would be writing, more so than just "Explore the town, get to know people, I'm sure you'll find something interesting to start your articles with."

Olivia thought about it for a little bit and decided that the first place she wanted to go was the dye shop auntie had mentioned before they even got here. She was pretty sure it was on the way to the grocery store, so Olivia got dressed. Going out in a loose fitting light blue shirt, with long frilly sleeves and some comfy jeans. And headed out, pen and notepad ready in her pocket, in case she found anything to write about.

The shop itself was larger than she had expected for sure, and it stood out easily, the shop had a bit of pastel colors splattered about and its sign had rainbow letters, as if to further indicate that it was a dye shop. The actual sign read "Comit's dye emporium." it was all quite welcoming and exciting and Olivia was happy to pop inside. The size of the outside didn't lie either, it was quite spacious in here, and yet the space seemed quite well used, there were shelves and shelves of different dyes, different dye colors. Including a lot of things Olivia hadn't heard of before. Of course the place wasn't impossibly big, it wasn't super market sized, but big enough to walk around in.

Olivia was rather surprised she didn't see the shop keeper at first, it was almost a little disconcerting, she was the only one here. But the shop was colorful and welcoming enough, it even had some colorful fuzzy plush toys. In fact it seemed to have a lot of merchandise besides dyes, most showing many different ways you could use dyes. It was amazing if these toys were accurate; it could even dye scales, not that she really had to worry about that.

As Olivia continued her search she noticed most of the dyes that looked really good or had unique colors were labeled in a way she didn't realize. "M dye...What could that mean and...Goodness it's so expensive." She said looking at the little price label on it. As she was worrying about the prices, suddenly the back door opened and out of it stepped a tall handsome wolf, wearing, some strange looking clothes.

He was a white wolf, with the top half of his face, his neck, and the back of his paws painted a dark blue. It was hard to tell otherwise because he was "wearing" a rather colorful and detailed orange jacket, with a black undershirt underneath. As well as a pair of jeans which looked quite comfortable. He was also muscular, not a muscle head per say, but his muscles were quite nicely defined even with his fur. He was also quite tall, managing to stand a whole foot over Olivia.

"Ahhh Sorry" He said, getting behind the counter. "I don't get a lot of local customers...And I know pretty much everyone, especially any that would drop in. You must be new...Nice to see a new face in town." He said with a smile, taking care to not show too much of his teeth, not wanting to scare the girl. Olivia gave a smile back and stepped forward, to discuss things with the shopkeep.

This had a couple of effects, for one she got a feel for how tall he was, it was a little intimidating, a big wolf and her, all alone in a shop but she tried to not think about that, it wasn't like her to worry about species, he seemed friendly enough after all, and his shop was beautiful. The other thing she noticed which had the poor girl blushing like crazy, was that the wolf wasn't wearing a single piece of clothing, it was all painted onto his fur.

"Y-yeah I'm new...I'm ummm, Olivia, and I'm the niece of Daffodil." She said, the wolf noticed her cute reaction. That blush, he could only assume, from the cute alpaca noticing he was naked, the way he could see her red cheeks through the thin white fleece on her face. And the way she was trying to avert her eyes but also trying to keep eye contact, something about it was just adorable to him.

"Nice to meet you Olivia I'm Tundra, and perhaps I should have assumed something like that. We don't get a lot of Alpaca's in town, still I can't say I know Daffodil too well, but she seems like a lot of fun...Anyways before I prod you about town, I assume given your expression you noticed my clothing?" Olivia quickly nodded and now actually looked away from Tundra.

"Hey it's alright, I think your aunt is the only one in town who wasn't sort of freaked out. It seems this style hasn't caught on like I had hoped, it's a shame too, I've grown quite fond of it. Well don't worry, I'm not quite...Naked, or at least not as much as it seems. You probably noticed while I was getting to my little counter forte here but, you can't see anything, just as if I was wearing real clothes."

Olivia seemed to rack her brain about that, trying to not think too hard about it, not exactly having focused on the shop keeps crotch earlier but, well she hadn't noticed anything swinging or dangling or anything that looked like a sheath. "H-how is that possible?" she answered back, still clearly blushing.

"Oh...I suppose it is your first time here, well we sell magic dyes!" The shopkeep said rather proudly. "Homemade..They can do all sorts of things, covering up certain bits is one of the effects they can have. Makes it so someone never needs clothes. Olivia sort of perked up at that "Magic..Really? I had heard there are places that still practice magic but I know it's rare...I've never met anyone who can do real magic, let alone put that magic into something else."

Tundra looked just a little embarrassed himself "Hope I didn't give you the wrong impression, it's a magic recipe, and I do help to put some of the magic into it...But it's not like I could show you magic right now. I couldn't shoot colors out of my hands or cast a spell to make it brighter or darker, or even a simple cantrip. The most I can do is make very special dyes though...Well, at least to me that's a lot."

The alpaca nodded encouragingly, the swinging of her head being an almost entertaining sight. "I think it's amazing all the same! I love dyes, it's so cool, being able to color yourself in unique colors. Having something to show off, or well, more often than not just, enjoying being your favorite color." She said with a cute little giggle. "It really is amazing you can make them magic, I've never heard of something like that before."

"Well if that's the case I apparently need to up my online marketing campaign if even a dye connoisseur like yourself hasn't heard of magic dyes." He said a bit playfully though it was clear he was trying to think a bit about pushing that. "That's how I make most of the sales...If you are wondering, outside of Daffodil there aren't too many customers who come by. There used to be another girl but...I'm pretty sure she got sick of small town life. Anyways there aren't near enough customers in town so I decided to open up for online services and it's been quite a success." He said once again, obviously quite proud.

"Ahhh that does make a lot of sense, I was wondering...I haven't really seen anyone in town with odd fur colors. Well I'll have a look around, though...Well, do you have any other brands then your own?" She asked rather embarrassed. The wolf looked rather shocked given how well the conversation was going.

"Well uhh, not really, magic dye is what I'm known for and, as I said, dye's around here aren't really popular enough to warrant importing other brands. I just keep some of my own stock which I usually end up shipping off most of what's here anyways. The only exception being the merch, I couldn't help but order a few plushies for the shop, I love how they turned out." He said before getting back to the matter at hand. "But what's wrong, big name brand you really love?"

Olivia obviously felt a bit guilty, and looked down "No, no nothing like that...It's, well...Your dyes do look really cool and they sound amazing. I would love to try all kinds and see what sort of things they can do but...I umm, well to be honest your dyes are really expensive and a bit out of my budget as someone who just got into town."

"Right of course...I understand, I couldn't possibly even consider asking you to part with your dyes without proper payment..." Suddenly seeing the cute girl looking down and rather awkward Tundra felt bad. "Ahhh sorry...Wish I could easily offer a sample or something but...Well, they are at a premium price for a reason. Making dyes already takes awhile all by myself, getting the ingredients and taking the time to make them high quality magic dyes is...Well, time consuming." He thought it over a bit, noticing that didn't exactly seem to make the pretty Alpaca feel better.

There was an awkward pause, his mind trying to think up a satisfying solution. Said solution was sort of embarrassing, maybe a bad idea but, the thought cheered him up. "Hey there is...Something I've been wanting to try with my dyes, a...Very special feature of them that's become popular. It's, sort of a strange proposition I know but...Well, as you know there aren't really a lot of enthusiasts in town."

Olivia looked curiously "Oh alright, well...You have my attention...What could you need someone besides yourself to test out?" The wolf gave an awkward smile trying to think how to best word this. "Well...Obscuring, certain bits is far from the only thing a good dye can do...It can also...Alter properties of oneself..." The alpaca just listened, clearly still not sure where this was going. "One of those alterations can be...The flavor, of certain parts..."

It looked like Olivia was trying hard to piece two and two together. Until it seemed to snap into her brain and she blushed, very, very deeply. "W-wait...Wait, there is no way...You aren't proposing, s-sex for dyes are you...Because I wo-" Tundra could tell she might be about to get angry. "Woah ok no...Well, sort of...Listen I don't expect full on sex its...Not really what I meant...I, want to eat you out..." He said, blushing himself, his ears going down.

Olivia didn't look any less embarrassed "I...Ok I think I get the idea that the dye changes my errr, flavor, but, I still don't get it...You want to give me a dye, so you can eat me out...?" The wolf nodded. "I...Always thought it sounded hot, it's one of the reasons I came up with the idea and it's...Sort of become a bestseller, it seems a lot of creatures love smelling different all over, and tasting different."

The beautiful alpaca was just sort of, stunned, she hadn't exactly gotten an offer like this before. It swam around in her mind, she, well to be honest to herself was a virgin. Not really meeting any of the right boys or anything of the like. However the idea of just getting pleasured to get something she wanted sounded so one sided and yet it was still horribly embarrassing for the inexperienced girl. "I-I umm...Listen I...I'll think about it.."

Tundra relaxed seeing that she wasn't terribly offended, he was worried she might run out. Or slap him, or both, but in general she seemed to just take it with embarrassment which was understandable. Still she was sort of shying away "I...ummm, see you later...Gonna take a walk and clear my head." Olivia said, Tundra waved her off as she left the shop, giving a sigh, wondering if she would actually come back.

Olivia, did exactly as she said, going for a walk it, well, wasn't helping that much. Her mind was filled with questions. "It should be fine if he is just eating me out right? He seems nice, oh but we just met. Would I still be a virgin if I let him eat me out? I don't even really know how that works, it seems weird to have my first experience with someone I don't know. But I want the dye, and it's so pricey, just getting something like that...and it's...not really wrong is it?"

Despite taking a walk around town her mind wasn't exactly clearing up, it sort of seemed like the opposite, it just sort of became confused with more angles. Like what if anyone found out, but also how would anyone find out, would her aunt hate her? Her aunt was the closest thing to a motherly figure the girl had in this area, her mother was...Well Olivia really didn't want to call her mother about something like this.

Still she headed to her new home, and found Daffodil, currently on the computer, research it looked like? Currently enjoying some tea while she was clicking about but as soon as she saw Olivia, Daffodil clicked something one more time and turned towards her. "Oh good to see you back, get anything good while you were away?" Daffodil asked with a smile. "Geez you look kind of worked up, something happen while you were away? I hope no one was rude, I'm sure everyone will get used to you soon."

Olivia shyly shook her head "No...Nothing like that...See...There's something I really want...And..." it was obvious the young woman was having trouble trying to find words appropriate for what she wanted to say. "Someone wants to do something for me...And give me what I want..." Daffodil looked confused, almost as if she was waiting for a punchline that wasn't coming.

"I'm afraid you'll have to be more specific dear, I would love to help but...Someone wants to do you a favor and give you something you want? That...Sort of just sounds like you've already made a really good friend." Olivia sort of winched, somehow with the way her Aunt said it, the poor girl felt more like she was selling her body but, she tried to think of a better way to put it.

"Ok see...It's umm, something they want too, and I'm just...Sort of, uncomfortable..." Daffodil shrugged "Maybe I still don't get it but, it still sounds like a win-win. Sometimes we get uncomfortable but...I don't that's a reason to hold back from anything. I think an important part of living in a small town is breaking out of your shell, otherwise it's hard to really get to know anyone. You don't have to do anything you don't want to but...I bet you'll have a lot more fun if you just let go, see what your friend has in store for you. I promise nothing bad will happen to you out there, and if it does...Your auntie is around to make sure it will all be ok."

Oliva smiled and went to hug her Aunt who quickly stood up so she could hug back. It was a pleasant platonic hug, but it was a rather long one too. Olivia eventually giving a little giggle "You know Auntie..For someone so unlike mom, that's like...Almost the exact sort of speech mom would give. About the opposite thing, I feel like she was always telling me to be extra careful about what I do and stuff but...You're right." Olivia said letting go of the hug finally. "I moved for a big change and I guess with that should come a new me...I...I want to be outgoing and make a good impression. It's...Still pretty embarrassing but, I...I think I can give my friend what he wants."

Daffodil smiled, looking rather proud, despite the fact it was hard to tell if she knew what was going on or not. She even ruffled her nieces fleece on her head as she tended to. "See there you go, putting that pretty head of yours to use, go have fun sweetie, I'll be here...Think you'll be back in time for supper?" Olivia had already turned around, still feeling weird but also, way more sure of herself now. "Yeah I should be back for dinner...I'm looking forward to, your stews have been fantastic. Anyways thank you for the advice, I'll see you later Auntie!"
