"Um my lord I'm still grateful for all that you've done but it's a bit creepy that you've been staring at me for the past three hours." Clarice said cuddling her eggs. "It's not going to make me use the names you wanted."

"Sorry I was just thinking." He said then took a deep breath.

She knew it was something serious, he didn't try to argue that they were good names despite the fact she couldn't pronounce them. "I know I forced you into this spot, but I'm not sorry, I'll never be sorry. We all are forced into things we don't want to do."

"I wasn't thinking about that." He paused then growled "And don't ever say anything like that to me again! I know damn well how fucked up life is, I took the easy path! I don't give a fuck about anything else!"

"Understood." She said then covered her eggs with her wings.

"Anyway its that ten years is along time." He said reverting to a calm tone.

"You want to accelerate time so my children hatch sooner, don't you?"

"Yes but only if you're okay with it."

"Let me think about it." She said relaxing her wings.

"Okay I have a kill to claim I'll be back by dawn." He said then left to let her think.

Her concern for her eggs was so great she didn't pay any mind to the fact that no one would try and claim his kill. She looked down at her eggs, knowing that a lot will happen in ten years and as much as she wanted a normal hatching for them that was too big of a risk. Even though he does try to keep them from harm, he would still sacrifice them to save himself in the end, she knew his type well. It would be better they were given a chance to live then risk not hatching at all. There was also the possibility that they would both die leaving the eggs defenseless that thought scared her more then anything.

At the "Abandoned Warehouse" Slag sits at the front of the stage where the stripers paraded, he paid them no mind just sat there thinking of Clarice and how she would never dance here again, now that she got what she wanted. He had a stack of frosting sandwich cookies and slowly warped them into is mouth in an attempt at returning to his normal angry state, though that would require something that's not in him.

He did notice his sister sit down next to him but paid no attention to her. "I heard about your latest kill baby brother. Well done, you killed a bunch of helpless females." 'Ine taunted the large armored gargoyle. "Mother will be so proud."

He gave a growl then said, "Tell mom I still don't care about what she wants and she'll get to see her grandkids by the end of the week."

She rubbed her hands together, "Oh she'll be so happy."

"Yeah, Yeah, Just tell her that and that she can see them when ever she wants to."

"Oh how did you know about the kidnap plot?" She asked with a big grin. He responded with a growl, "You still have no sense of humor." She taunted then vanished.

He gave a thunderous roar, not caring that he scared a good number in the club and caused a few of the strippers to fall. His life had always been hard but now it was getting out of control. He knew he couldn't give them what they needed nor would he try to, he wanted things to go back to the way they were before he met her so badly but he also knew that changing history would risk his position of power.

He finally decided to go back to his castle an hour before dawn after eating all the sandwich cookies. Many of the other patrons wonder how he ate all them without getting sick. Clarice watched him swagger in after his portal opened up next to her bed a few moments ago. "I decided that I do want to see my children hatch so I want you to speed up time for them."

"Okay then come with me, I'll show you where the device is." He said calmly and she got up slowly so she didn't hurt her eggs.

She followed him believing that he was telling the truth about his machine, "So I was thinking naming one Crystal because of the invisibility spell, and the other I'd wait until she hatched." She said and he only nodded.

She followed the rest of the way silently, he led her though several doorways that gave off strong magical energy, "Here." He said then pointed to a large rectangular space with two bowls equal space apart.

She put them in and didn't take her eyes off them as the opening was sealed with a see-though membrane, or when Slag tuned on the device. She watched amazed as the eggs turned to stone five minutes before sunup, "This device will keep working during the day until they start trying to break the shell." He said making her smile.

Her smile didn't fade the entire time the eggs were in the device, nor did she move she didn't want to miss a thing. Then finally after four nights they started to hatch. She waited until they were fully out of their shells before grabbing them. They were startled at first but when she put them to her chest they calmed down knowing instantly that this was their mother. She looked over both her daughters, one did have the body of an unicorn, she had hoofs instead of feet, feathered wings, a horse's snout, the only thing showing that she was possibly Slag's was her total black wings and fur, her eyes would have to wait until she opened them when she wakes up. The other one was currently sucking her thumb staring into the female that had the same eye and hair color as her, she also had matching wings and red portions of skin but her head, tail were his and the parts of skin that would have been white were black. She smiled at the mini-dino, she had hopped one would have inherited her head shield but they were still her daughters, "Sara" She said to the thumb sucker then looked at the one still sleeping, "Crystal".

A light stream of tears flowed down her face, she was a mother again, and no one would take her children from her ever again.
