It was almost 12 pm and I (Davide) was ready to get to meet my old senior college friends it's been a long time since I haven't seen them. This meeting is a chance to reunite with each other since we didn't have many opportunities, but something isn't right Toby has been weird in chat he said that he witnessed a new life he was gifted powers? Probably he's joking he has been joking for the entire college year saying some bullshit about lycanthropy... that guy is just someone to avoid at all costs but this time I will let it slide. I pulled the car in the driveway and saw Rick and Maria standing next to each other talking in front of an abandoned forest entrance, it was closed due to some disappearances in 2003 almost 100 people disappeared and the ones that came out of there were changed, in a way I'm not even gonna explain it from how disgusting it is. I got off the car and walked towards them.

Rick with a huge grin "Heyy Davide how are you?" I responded smiling "I'm good" Maria then said, "Um, where's Toby? He still hasn't come yet. It's been 30 minutes". "Somethings wrong about that kid" Rick muttered. We suddenly saw a figure getting closer and bigger it didn't look human or animal either it was this humanoid creature with lupine features it finally stopped in front of us and said: "Hey guys..." Maria fainted and Rick just froze on his position I said trying to look tough: "huh h-hey Toby?..." He stared at me with his yellow eyes and I blacked out... I woke up in the middle of the forest I tried to get a grip on trying to understand what the fuck was going on. My vision was blurred and couldn't see anything, the blur faded away and saw two wolves talking "What are we going to do with this guy he actually looks like a potential soldier to our rankings, the other wolf said "I know I've been with him for a long time now... he was not scared when I approached him he was still scared but not like the other ones.

I stood up and said "Of course I'm not going to be one of your muppet soldiers my life has enough problems already" I turned around and started running the wolves stood there staring at me and gave chase, I looked at an abandoned house and got into it as a hiding place, I got and locked the main door "fucking hell... I gotta get outta here, the forest isn't too big so all I gotta do it run straight" I heard howling coming from the entrance for then being overwhelmed by 50 more howls I was in so much deepshit. I slowly got to the other door, and opened it slowly I could see 20 werewolves in the main entrance I sneaked away and ran to the meeting spot, Rick and Maria were gone with a trail of blood, the wolves came out growling at me saying "You have no choice.... join or die" I sprinted to the Car and got in and before they could reach the car I started it stepping on the gas very hard and got out.

"Jesus," I said in relief only to be interrupted by a voice "IM NOT GIVING UP ON YOU" Claws came from the car top and ripped it open, I reached the glove box with a butterfly knife and threw it at Toby and screamed in agony fall out of the car. I arrived at a gas station and it was open but when I got closer there was a werewolf there dressed as a normal station guy waiting patiently for a costumer. "What the actual fuck?" I thought. I got to my house and tried to forget everything that happened tonight.

I got to my house and saw my girlfriend watching TV, I got closer to the couch but instead of seeing a girl sleeping on the couch it was a huge beast with dark orange and grey fur, I yelped and fell on the floor, my mind was not going straight and fainted from all the trauma I witnessed. All I could see was the void, black jet black, I couldn't see anything, "Something is wrong with me nothing of this is normal..." I felt like I was about to die but then... I woke up in a hospital. I looked all direction and saw a handcuff on my hand. A doctor came in and said "Oh, you're finally awake, that car accident really busted your head open and you went in a 3-month coma" "WAIT for HOW LONG?!" the heartbeat monitor started blaring and fainted again.... I was sitting in a room, sitting on a chair tied up with a table in front of me, a figure came in and it was me? "Wait... you are me? How..." the figure said, "I'm your subconscious, and all the things you just witnessed were all fantasy except for a few things..." "What... THINGS?" I said in a provoking tone the figure responded, "The murder of Nick and Maria, you killed them... the 50 wolves chasing you? Those were policemen chasing you down, oh and the car thing? That was all made by you..." then I said again "No, t-that is impossible, it felt so real, I don't remember killing my friends I" the figure interrupted me and said "It's all part of the morphogenic engine okay? You know what it is... that weird machine at the Murkoff corporation, it's making you insane. If you didn't send that email to that Private journalist you would still be a software engineer worker but no... you wanted to expose the murk off corporation." The figure left the room and before he got to the door I said "So what is gonna happen to me?" "stuck here forever..." the figure left the room and everything faded to dark.
