I seem down on wolves in this chapter that is not my intention. Just character is a little bitter. Finally a new chapter. Sorry it too so long please forgive me.

(Kyle)

I sighed with some relief when I arrived at the dorm entrance. I bent over panting softly sweat dripping from my frame. I had managed to get there via running in my human state but damn if it didn't kick my ass.

Some moments later when I could somewhat manage to get some oxygen in my system I looked up to see Kevin standing there presumably in the middle of making breakfast...at least that's what I thought offering me a water bottle with an amused smile. "Long time no see. Spend the night somewhere else?" he asked lightly as he leaned over the counter.

I gave him a look and then I remembered I had hidden my injury though at my movement to get the water his eyes flashed and nose dilated "Bingo" I thought in my mind as his gaze rapidly became concerned. "What's with the smell of blood?"

"Well your right in thinking I spent the night with someone else. A rather lovely dragon. But that was after I got attacked by a little she-devil in a club." I replied calmly as he moved from out behind the counter to observe me more closely.

"No alcohol is on your breathe.." he said once standing in front of me cautious. "I'm not gonna bite unless ya ask wolf. And to the best of my knowledge you have not asked me." I remarked seeing how cautious he was in front of me.

That made Kevin bare his teeth at me a show of frustration which I noted. Ok Maybe ease up on the sarcasm I though to myself before twitching my head to the side to bare my neck. It was a common form of submission...and though I wouldn't dream of submitting to Kevin it might diffuse the situation enough.

A few moments passed and the Kevin stepped back. He looked at me slightly confused as if he didn't know why he suddenly felt the need to back down. As for my part I didn't elaborate simply moving to go past him.

His paw shot out as I did so moving with inhuman speed. If not for some 6th sense warning me I wouldn't have been able to dodge the attempt. "I assure you that I'm fine." I remarked. I knew he was trying to help but right now that "help" was an annoyance and a hinderance. I didn't know what was going on and I doubted some doctor could tell me. Plus I had class soon. "This isn't over." I heard as I hurried up the stairs and moved to grab my things from my room. "No I'm afraid it's just beginning." I thought with a deep mental sigh.

I grabbed my books and such from the room noting my roomie was absent. Right now that was fine I needed some boring mundane class to settle my head. Glancing at my schedule and such I noted that it was a history class. Well at least it's something I'm usually good at. I thought to myself before grabbing a can of no scent. I hated to hide my usual scent but right now I can't have every smelling the blood...and my shoulder wasn't exactly right either. I still was seeing everything on and off through blossom vision too.

I sprayed the can and then put it back on the shelf. I took a moment to collect myself and then moved to leave the room and get to class. However even with the can of no scent Kevin would still be down below. Hopefully I could move fast enough to get out of there without trouble.

That thought on my mind I sighed before moving to get downstairs keeping my eye out for a back way or a side path...Hell I'd jump out of a window if need be to get out of here safely.

Somehow or by some miracle of the Wolf Gods Kevin was not present in the entryway when I returned. I didn't give him a chance to reappear and attempt to stop me either...I'm not ashamed to admit I ran from that building as if I had a hellhound chasing me.

Sure Kevin meant well but having to explain my injury to a doctor right now would not be beneficial...Especially since I still didn't know how the Dream Weaver stuff worked exactly.

Pity dragon boy couldn't just tell me more off the bat. Still acquiring the knowledge myself would be just as sweet. That thought in mind I made my way to what I hoped was the right building.

Walking through the doors I looked forwards at the posted signs. So Seems Art is ahead...To my Left there is Math, To the Right Science.." I thought reading the various signs. I noted a staircase that I had missed initially and it seemed to go up to at least two more floors. _Might as well go straight ahead and see what happens." _ I thought moving forwards. Again as usual the wolf plague had struck this building as well though I noted a few of the smaller anthros about as well. A few mice, an otter there..a stag over there against the lockers.

Moving up the stair case I found out that History was on the second floor with a few other subjects that I didn't pay much attention to I'm afraid. Finding the listed room thanks to the many helpful sign posts and such posted about I headed into the room and moved to take a seat near the back surprised to find this classroom mostly empty.

The professor appeared to be a male skunk the classic big bushy striped tail extending behind them though despite the associated stereotype the room smelled like lavender and fresh cotton. Must be a hidden air freshener or something I thought as I drew out my book.

Class was called to order shortly after I got out my book and I noticed the scent in the air had changed. To what I didn't know exactly but my immediate thoughts were along the lines of "Fuck me...He can change that scent at will can't he?" The skunk had his back to the room the illustrious tail raised high as it normally would be. He appeared to be writing his name on the board. Distracted by my inner thoughts I didn't hear him actually say it.

Though the written name said "Mr. Spherus" Well at least it will be easy to remember. The professor now that I could hear his voice properly said "Class please turn to the first chapter in your book which should be a brief summary of events."

An Introduction To The History Of Weavers And Humans

While Humans are still the dominant species on the planet the presence of Weavers has increased over the years. Known in common speech as DreamWeavers these are humans that through dire circumstances weaved their deepest desires into reality. The scope of their power is unknown though it seems as if it must affect them personally. The energy they use to shape reality is unknown as well. However if they bear young these children do not have their parents ability to change their personal reality. But that ability seems to only reside with first Generation Weavers. If in human form it is impossible to tell them apart from a normal person.

The persecution of the Weavers persist to this day. There are three groups known to be seeking the total eradication of Dream Weavers each for their own separate reasons

The first is known as The Church Of Humanity. It's members swear by the power of their Oracle who seems to be able to detect the blossoming of First Generation Weavers and then using this information the Knights of Humanity are dispatched to deal with the newly born Weaver. It is unclear how many deaths this has resulted in yet strangely no on in authority has spoken against them.

The second group is named Arcadia of Reclouse. Otherwise known as Arcadia. They seek Dream Weavers for their genetic materials to better enhance the lives of normal humans through Gene Therapy. Their members are distinguished by the lab coats that they always wear.

The final group is named Cythera Of Cessation they are purists and they are rumored to have made a machine that can erase a Dream Weaver from existence should they be strapped inside. This is unconfirmed however as if you are truly erased from existence who would remember you?"

That concluded the reading and my brain stewed on the information. I had been attacked at that night club after all. Officer whats-his-face had come knocking too. So the part about the Church being able to act without implications might not be entirely correct.

Mr. Spherus had been circling the room quietly at me glancing up he nodded to me and pointed back to the board. I turned my head to look to see that he had written further beyond his name. "After ya finish the chapter you may leave. But for homework I want you to do the review questions at the end of the chapter." I nodded as I finished reading the instructions and began to grab my things. As I stood up blossom vision flickered on again and I gritted my teeth as it felt as if my whole body spasmed. I felt the grip on my human form wavering.

"Fuck" I thought and I made it to the door as quick as I could.

On my way out I felt my body spasm again and with a grimace from me my shoes just exploded into clouds of rubber as my feet turned to paws and forcibly expanded. "CRAP those cost 30 bucks!" I thought to myself as I attempted to run. I didn't get far smashing face first into a wall of fur. I fell back on my ass and my body spasmed again sending fur up my legs. "Shit are you ok?" They asked. I didn't have time to answer as with another spasm the hands I tried to push myself up on reconfigured into paws and I fell on my face again. "GET UP!" I heard Sukura roar at me and I struggled to obey. My vision was pure blossom now everything tinged pink and my shoulder wound was aching something fierce.

I managed to scamper feral like on my forepaws down the hall. I heard the wolf giving chase before RIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP well there went my pants...damn tails. As I continued to run I flashed my nine tailed fox ass to the world and the transformation only continued as I broke past the doors. Somehow my backpack managed to stay with me as I still heard the wolf give chase.

Though my body was beginning to protest at the abuse. "Dammit Not Now. Come on Please?" I found myself silently begging as I started to hit the ground once more edges of black on the edge of my vision before they blossomed fully and once more I was out cold.
