Well here's a story I'm actually sort of happy with. Special thanks to TwistedSnakes who provided some excellent feedback that made the story a whole lot better.

As always, comments and criticisms are much appreciated!

PS. If anyone can figure out what the song is, I'll send you a virtual cookie.

"Help me please! Someone help me please!" Came the muffled shouting from the trunk of a speeding garnet red Mercedes 560SEC. The driver of the coupe seemed to notice the shouting as he merely turned up the stereo volume.

Loud enough that the tied-up and stripped naked wolf in the trunk heard it.

"HELP ME!" he tried to shout louder, only for the music turned up even more. The wolf thought it sounded like a 70s children tune in an unknown language. Not that the wolf cared as he continued to shout and struggle against his duct-taped restraints.

The damn duct tape, wrapped onto his bare fur. The wolf had tried to break his hands-free of their silver prison, but it was no use. His hands remained firm behind his back, the attempt only left him with sore shoulders.

He tried the same with his legs, but they too remained tightly wrapped together. He couldn't even bend his knees. All the wolf could do was struggle, or more accurately wiggle, and shout, hoping that someone would save him.

His voice strained and turned hoarse as he kept on shouting. He didn't know for how long he's been on the road. There weren't any bumps or sharp turns as the car drove. They must have been on the highway for hours.

And for all this time, the damn song kept playing on repeat. If being nude, bound, and locked in a trunk didn't drive the wolf crazy, the song would have.

The shouts turned into whimpers as the wolf began to realize the severity of his situation. What was his captor going to do with him? The list of possibilities ran through the wolf's head but as much as he denied it, he knew in his heart that the darkness of the trunk maybe one of the last places he'll ever be in.

Darkness? Wait. There was something in the darkness, something glowing. Hope filled the wolf when he realized that even older cars came with an emergency trunk release, and despite his bound hands, he still had a free maw.

The wolf slowly wiggled his way to the trunk release. His shoulders and waist were crying in pain, but he ignored them. The trunk release was over his snout. He just had to reach it.

"Come on!"

He cried out as he used all the power he had left to reach the release. But as the wolf was at his breaking point, he caught something. The plastic handle of the release was between his teeth.

"Yes!"

He shouted in his mind only for the car to swerve right, hard. All of that effort lost in an instant as the wolf lost his bite on the handle and crashed into the side of the trunk. The smooth highway turned into a rough and bumpy road.

The car was almost bouncing, making the wolf repeatedly slam onto the floor. The wolf whimpered in pain and despair. He had lost his only chance of escape, and he had a gut-wrenching feeling of where the dirt road went. All the while, that stupid song continued to play.

"Nooooo!"

Eventually, the car came to a stop and everything went silent. The wolf heard the click of a door and the shut that followed. He tried to prepare himself for whatever fate had in store for him once the trunk door open, but he couldn't hold himself together. For what was perhaps the last time in his life, the wolf cried.

He whimpered when the trunk light stung his eyes, his bare furred body shivered from the cool air of the outside. The only sound now was the rustling of the trees. When the wolf turned to see who opened the trunk, his heart sunk.

"Oh fuck!"

There, standing in front of the open trunk, lit up by only the trunk & brake lights was his captor with a wide smile. The wolf didn't know what species he was, only it was a species with sharp teeth. It was all he saw from the figure, that and the two reflections of his bound-up self where the captor's eyes would be. Apart from the scents of the forest, the smell of cherries and cigar was heavy in the air.

"Did you enjoy the ride? I hope it wasn't too uncomfortable for you."

The bastard talked with what seemed like genuine politeness and concern. If it wasn't for his scent, the wolf would've sworn it was someone different who kidnapped him.

"Please... please let me go." The wolf begged. He no longer had the energy to shout and fight. Even if he did, the captor would probably... the wolf couldn't imagine what his captor would do. He couldn't fight anymore.

The captor took a drag of his cigar. Blowing the smoke onto the wolf.

"Part of me really wants to. I mean it. I feel sorry for you. I truly do."

There was that genuineness again. Somehow it was worse than if the wolf would've had someone shout and call him slurs.

"Please... I won't tell anyone. I just want to go home. I just want to go home!" the wolf cried out.

"Tsk... you know I won't do that. You had your chance, and you failed."

It was unfair. The wolf didn't even do anything wrong!

"Why... why?" the wolf shook his head "If you really c-cared... just mercy... please!"

"Sorry... hold on... Ah, I forgot your name. It doesn't matter anymore."

The captor grabbed on tight onto the wolf as he tried to wiggle away. However, the captor was much stronger than him, throwing the wolf over his shoulder. The wolf could stare straight up to the sky, trees surrounding them in what was a small clearing in the forests.

The wolf heard his captor whistling, whistling that goddamn song.

The sky moved as the captor carried him to the front of the car. The headlights were still running. As if left on to illuminated something.

"Here's where the dog is buried ." His captor sung in the tune of that song. His sweet tone was jarring.

Suddenly the wolf landed into the soft dirt with a thud. He tried to move right side up, only to see walls of dirt around him and his captor standing over him.

"Here's where the dog is buried."

"No no no no no!" he cried, frantically struggling, a final attempt of getting free.

The wolf froze when cold dirt landed on him. He saw his captor, still smiling with a cigar in between his lips and a shovel in his hand.

"If you're looking for a word."

"Please! I don't want to- "

The captor cut the wolf short with a shovel of dirt onto his face. He coughed and shook it off, only to see another shovel of dirt heading to his head.

"And it's a little hard for you to decide."

The wolf cried and struggled even harder, trying to shake off as much dirt as possible, but it was pointless as more dirt covered him. He continued to struggle, breaking any layer of dirt over him until it there was too much to get off.

"Listen to me and forget about the conversation"

"Please no!"

The wolf's tear-stained eyes made mud around them. He tried to look at his captor, only to see him still smiling.

"Because in the meantime you have nothing to say."

"Ple... plea."

More dirt landed on him, burying him in his grave even further. All the while his burier continued whistling. The dirt was becoming heavy, most of his body was under the dirt, and only his muzzle stuck out of the ground.

"Here's where the dog is buried."

In an act of desperation, the wolf closed his maw to prevent himself from swallowing the growing layer of dirt. He tried to stick his snout as far out as possible.

*Whimpers*

The captor continued to shovel. It landed and went into his nose. He continued to struggle even as his snout disappeared underneath the dirt. Any breath he took would be a lungful of dirt. As the wolf had more and more weight on him, he lost more air and began to lose consciousness as well.

"I'm, I'm going to die..."

He didn't know how long he was buried for. His lungs were burning desperately for air. His body was shutting down and his head more light-headed and dizzier. It was getting hard for him to think.

"Please... someone help..."

In his last moment, the wolf felt like he was floating in a void with one notable exception, the song. The very last thought of the wolf was the beginning of the song. He faded away after the first verse.

Here's where the dog is buried.
