A short point to what 'The Guardian' is all about here's what I came up with back in 2015. Though I'm sure it might change somewhat or I'll make it better than it sounds. To be honest though when writing this novel of mine I just go with the flow to wherever it takes me.

'The Guardian' is focused upon a young white wolf, named Fang who lives within the village of Slyvangard. After turning at the age of eighteen Fang and his adoptive father, Silver celebrate by partaking the traditional ceremony known as the Wolfhood Ceremony. Throughout the ceremony Fang will undertake what is known as the Chamber of Trials. While doing this little does Fang know that he was chosen as the Guardian.

The Guardian, a mystical creature that wields power to protect those under the King's command to keep peace within the lands of Traslavkania. Not only will Fang face that, he'll face the prophecy written long ago that's now kept within the King's own Palace. The prophecy states that within the land of Translavkania, a chosen creature from the heavens above would be born, to endure the trails of life they'll face and to partake of the war that will soon rage upon the lands of Translavkania. The peace that held for a decade now fades with bloodshed and war about to commence. The fate will be upon the Guardian's shoulders to determine the outcome of this war, and the fate of Traslavkania.

As Fang learns this and is trained by Olin while being kept under guard by the Tenth Regiment as well being accompanied by Silver to the Kings' Palace, he and his faithful companions are being followed by Vangru. Once a Valor Warrior that served the King himself, left the order in search for power as well to become King over all creatures of Translavkania. The plans he has in store for Fang alone will determine if Fang will fight this enemy or join forces to complete the wishes of Vangru into complete domination over Translavkania.

Prologue

Rain pelted the ground as the storm broke out overhead in the land of Translavkania. Below in the Forest of Guard all is still, and quiet with the exception of the rain. Many years ago war broke out along with the last stand of the valor warriors in the Forest of Guard and continues to this day. The silence was broken by the sound of paws running as if being chased by hounds seeking for the kill. The personage running was no person at all but a creature known as a lycanthrope, six foot tall wolf, and light grey coat, covered in standard valor armor along with a maroon cape ranking the warrior as captain. Armed with a double edge sword dripping with blood in one paw and a scroll in another thinking of a way to escape. Looking over his shoulder to see if he was still being pursued or not by the enemy, confirmed his question as he caught a glimpse of movement behind him. Putting an extra burst of speed the warrior ran on not knowing what was in store for him up ahead.

Once a valor warrior himself, but left the order in search for power stood a figure upon the hill above all the commotion below. Six foot five, fur stained black as night, covered in steel plated armor. In the time of honor the armor shown like the sun blazing in glory. Now the silver color of the armor was replaced to match the pelt of the owner itself after having it repaired of his attempts of escape. Adjusting his braces covered in rune designs the brute looked at the scene below him smiling wickedly unto himself as his cold blue eyes watched every movement before him. Reaching behind to touch the hilt of his blade strapped to his back to make sure it was secure was a sword of his own design as he crouch was Vangru. Seeing the valor warrior captain running away from his troops was a sight to see, looking for the best route to cut the warrior off Vangru glimpse a route downhill from his position. Nodding his cranium towards his guard as he rose, they followed the route downhill upon the forest floor in attempt to cut off the escape route from the captain.

Seeing that there was no chance of escape the valor warrior turned around and prepared himself for what was to come. Putting the scroll in a pouch strapped to his belt the warrior took his stance for battle. Seeing the enemy approaching before him, he raised his sword up in guard position and counted the enemy as his right ear flickered to the sound of approaching paw steps behind his position. Twelve! Well I guess it takes that many cowards to take me down...and by the sounds of it I'm surrounded as predicted.

"There he is, get him!"

"Remember Vangru wants him alive!"

The first one that yelled was the first one to die by a thrust to the heart, and while the battle raged on Vangru watched, waiting for the right moment. By that time eight corpses were on the ground, the remaining stood back as Vangru approached the warrior. Chuckling to himself at the sight he addressed to the Captain. "So this is all that remains of my best force...I sent out thirty of my best warriors and only ten remain."

"Vangru, you'll never get this scroll as long as I live."

"Oh? Well that can be arranged of course just like your dear dead companions laying on the grace of nature's presence. Now think carefully of what I have to say."

"Never! You filthy scum!" The warrior snarled.

Vangru sighed. "That's a shame my friend for I thought you might want to join my force and hand over that scroll in that pouch of yours that you were taking to the Elders. Ah well, prepare yourself for combat Captain Gaze!"

As Vangru drew his sword the warrior widen at the sight of his blade, never had he seen one like it in his life. Vangru made a signal for the remaining soldiers to circle around them as a ring. Once done Vangru addressed the warrior again, "Like my blade Gaze? I designed it myself after I left that precious order you now serve."

The single edge blade that Vangru constructed was made of a falling star that fell from the sky the day after he left the valor warriors order. The tip of the blade was razor sharp as the tip of sickle to the following keen edge that went to the curved crossguard made of the same material as the blade, as were the two ribs that held it in place the large crimson ruby stone that formed the pommel. The hand and a half hilt were made of hard ash wood. "En guarde!" he snared.

Blade upon blade struck causing sparks on the impact. The two warriors' faces were close to one another as their blades locked, Vangru taking a step back as Gaze leapt backwards and began circling. Vangru followed in the opposite direction, seeking for an opening. Vangru starting laughing mischievously as he swung his blade, locking against the warriors' blade, side stepping as he rushed Gaze towards the tree behind him and pin the brute. Gaze snarled as he tried to push back, but Vangru pushed both of their blades upwards over his head and struck for his throat. His aim true, Vangru closed his canine jaws as the blood trickled down his lower jaw to the ground. Discarding the corpse as it slumped towards the ground lifeless, he turned around with the scroll in his paws as he spat out the pool of blood within his maw towards the deceased warrior. "Now we'll see who the next Guardian is." As he opened the scroll.
