Pokephilia Story

A Frog who wished to Love Ch. 1

By J.C. Solis

The warm glow of summer was shining down hard on Lakeshire Town, with the heat only bearable due thanks to cold drinks and even colder ice cream that the park concessions stand sold. This profound heat wave was felt in every corner of the Daegar Region, and even the temperate forests, lake side and marshes to the south of Lake Shire were blistering hot. Still, this didn't mean that life was not as usual, as people still walked the streets with their pokemon and the children were still out playing in the Poke Park. Little kids and little pokemon were about, making the most of the hot day as they swung on swings, slid down the slide and even hung around in the Jungle Gym.

Of those enjoying the summer weather and this fine summer day was a young lass by the name of Saria Price.

Saria was a ruby haired, emerald eyed 24 year old lass with a penchant for getting into trouble and with a strong sense of adventure. She loved living in her hometown of Lakeshire Town as she went about her days in peace. She worked as a secretary and office worker in the downtown district for the prestigious Silph Co. Pokeball Factory, Daegar Region Branch--a terminally boring job which left her searching for her own excitement. She was with her pokemon partner, a fun loving Greninja by the name of Razor. The two were sitting on a park bench, barely able to take the heat as they licked at their ice cream cones before it completely melted away to the floor. The two made small talk as they sat underneath the canopy of a tree above them, making vital shade for them to bear the sun.

"Man, the heat is unbelievable," said Saria. "Jason and Camilla are taking their sweet time to come over here."

"Gre. Greninja." 'Maybe he got held up or something?' replied Razor

"I mean, Jason texted me not too long ago that he and Camilla were on their way. Those two should be here in -"

"Hey there, Saria!" said a man's voice as he then approached the two. A tall, black pompadour haired man in thick, sweaty clothes went up to them along with a tall, strong looking Blaziken. He brandished a red blazer jacket over his ebony button shirt and slacks. For all intents and purposes, he looked like a Team Flare grunt. "Whaddaya think, eh? I've been saving this bad boy for when we'd next battle."

Jason Kitchener was a good friend to Saria. Due to him hailing from the Unova region, his voice bolstered a profound New York accent and a lingo that complimented his attitude. The two had met over at Kalos Regional University and they became stalwart friends ever since. The two even competed in the Kalos Pokemon League to see if either one could make it to champion. Not surprising, neither one of them won, though Saria made it all the way to the semi-finals while Jason only made it to the quarter. The two were skilled battlers nonetheless, and as battle rivals they helped each other out in whatever area they needed help in.

"For Arcues sakes, Jason, how in the hell are you not hot in those clothes?" asked Saria. "It must be like, what, 34 Celsius at the moment?"

"Blaze blaze." 'I told dumb dumb here not to wear it,' chided the blaziken. 'This man just won't listen to a word I say.'

'Reminds of my trainer here, Camilla, heh heh,' chuckled Razor.

"So you want to get started and battle?" asked Saria. "I wanna get this over with so I can go back home to my AC chilled room."

"Ninja." 'Ditto,' replied Razor, wiping a pool of sweat off his forehead.

"Alright. Let's do this and then get the hell outta here," said Jason.

With everything said, Saria, Jason, Razor and Camilla went over to the battle courts to the side of the park. Each trainer took a side and called forth their respective pokemon. Though Razor was strong against Camilla due to his water typing, the Blaziken had one over him due to her being a fighting type. The battle was simple: whoever could knock the other pokemon out would be the winner.

"I just wanna let you know that Camilla and I've been training super hard for this. My poké-chick here is gonna lob one to Razor in the kisser before you even know what's going on."

"Blaze!" 'I told you not to call me by that name!' reclaimed Camilla. But she then turned to face Razor. 'But I'm still gonna knock your froggy behind flat to the ground, Razor honey."

"Gre. Ninja." 'We'll see about that, Camilla,"smirked Razor.

Though Razor felt confident, he knew he had to watch out. Camilla was a strong battler and a martial arts master. Though he knew a few fighting type moves as well, he knew he'd be in trouble if one were to land on him. Luckily he was also super agile and faster than the fire slash fighting type, meaning she'd have a hard time landing any hits when compared to his blazing speed. It was only a few moments until the battle would finally start, but it seemed that the two were getting hyped up to take each other on. The bell of the Church of Arceus, which was across the street from the park, began to bong, marking the start of the battle. The two pokemon and trainers only stared, seeing who would strike first.

In a quick flash, Razor lunged forward with a kunai water knife, making for the Blaziken like liquid lightning. But Camilla managed to dodge out of the way before Razor could plow into her. Jason gave the order to use Flamethrower, and so she shot a column of fire from her mouth. Luckily Razor jumped away, leaving the ground to be scorched by the high heat. Razor then shot a Water Shuriken right at her, but this time she failed to dodge. The shuriken slammed right into her, stinging hard as the super effective move did its job.

"Blaaaze!" 'Yeowch!,' cried out Camilla. 'You'll pay for that!'

"Gre. Grenin, heh heh" 'You sure about that? I can do laps around you! Heh heh,' taunted Razor as he lunged forward with another Kunai.

'Not this time, Razor buddy,' and so Camilla used a Low Sweep move, hitting Razor smack on the face as she did a roundhouse kick that sent him flying.

"Razor!" shrieked Saria. The Greninja was in pain as he knelt, the super-effective move hitting him hard. "Razor. Are you okay? Can you fight?"

The Greninja stood up, shaking the dust off him and getting into a fighting stance.

"Grenin. Ninja!" 'I'm alright, Saria,' he replied. 'Just give me the word and I'm gonna soak this fire fowl.'

"Blaze! Blaziken!." 'Oh yeah? Well I'm gonna make you into froggy roast!'

"Do you think you got a chance, Saria?" taunted Jason. "My girl here is gonna turn your ninja into frog leg supper. "

"Let's see about that, Jase," replied Saria. "Alright, Razor, use Extrasensory."

"What?" said a shocked Jason.

And with that, Razor closed his eyes and began to focus, his mind clearing as he channeled the energy needed for this psychic attack. He then did a sign with his webbed hands and glared at Camilla, eyeing her with a dark look of sinister intent. Soon after, Camilla cried out in pain, grabbing her head as she felt like it was coming out of her skull.

"BLAAAZE!" 'Oooooww, son of a bitch!' she cried, gripping her head as she felt the psy attack cause her tremendous pain.

"Come on, Camilla! You can do it. Hold tight and then attack," shrieked Jason, though he knew that she was in serious trouble.

"Now, Razor, use Hydro Pump!" "Ninja."

'Will do.'

And with that, the Greninja cupped his hands to his chest, and a large swirling ball of water began to form. The ball began to swirl around with more and more speed as it was charged up. Jason did his best to get Camilla to rouse out of her state, but it was too late. Razor launched out a powerful stream of water, the sheer powerful of the jet slamming against Camilla and send her flying. She hit the back fence of the battle court and was totally pinned as the Hydro pump doused her in enough water to stop a forest fire. When the water stopped, Camilla fell from the wall and collapsed to the floor, her eyes spinning as she was out for the count.

"Camilla!" shouted Jason as he ran towards his Pokemon. "Camilla. I'm so sorry, girl. I tried my best, but I let you down."

Camilla opened her eyes and smiled at Jason, knowing full well that he tried. He handed her a Sitrus berry and she gladly took a bite. Camilla then got up and looked at him in the eyes.

"Blaze." 'It's alright, Jason,' she said. She didn't have any ill will towards her trainer or tqhe other side for winning.

"That was a good battle, Jason," replied Saria.

"Nah, it's nothing, Saria," he replied back. "Hell, you and froggo have come a long way ever since Camilla and I've been teaching yah. *sniff* You two lugs make me so proud." He then put his hand to his face and fake cried.

*bonk* "Ouch! What's the big idea, Camilla?"

"Blaze." 'Dumb dumb,' she griped. 'You're a good trainer and all's Jason honey, but you're still a goofball.'

Razor could only admire the sportsmanship of Jason and Camilla. They weren't sore losers in the slightest, which made battling them enjoyable. The two were also adamant jokers, though Camilla was the more serious one of them and would often have to control Jason. One slapstick hit from Camilla, however, and the two would be serious again. It was a dynamic that Razor had grown accustomed to, and he hoped that they would continue being the goofball friends that they were. Upon finishing his reflection, Razor felt a warm body hug him from behind. Saria had wrapped her arms around his waist and put her head on his shoulder, the notable height difference evident as he was a little bit taller. Saria and Razor were inseparable as they had a tight bond that went back all the way since childhood, and it clearly showed in this battle.

"You did it, Froggy!" cheered Saria as she hugged him tighter. "You're the best pokemon a girl like me could ever have."

"Gren. Ninja." 'You're welcome, my sweet trainer,' he replied.

His heart went all a flutter as he felt the warm hug wrap around him, feeling like he had done a good job with this battle. He felt a deep feeling of caring, knowing that he had, and always will have, his trainer's love. He felt like the luckiest pokemon in the world, knowing that he had someone like Saria to always be at his side. With the battle over, Saria and Jason lifted Camilla off the ground and decided to carry her over to the Pokemon Center.

Though putting the Blaziken in her pokeball would've been more convenient, the blaze pokemon was already used to being outside the pokeball, and so Jason never had the need to use it. Plus, Camilla walking around with him as a constant companion made everyday feel all the more pleasurable--though the language barrier was an obvious obstacle that kept tainer and pokemon from fully understanding each other. Even Saria took to not putting Razor in his pokeball, though she couldn't take him with her to work outside the pokeball as her job had a strict policy against it. In truth, many people all around Lakeshire Town walked around with their pokemon on the daily. Even couples were known to have an open pokemon with them per partner, and that was basically the norm. Pokemon were such an integral part of society that having them in the open was common.

Saria, Razor, Jason and Camilla all arrived at the little hospital, with Camilla already being able to walk better as she arrived at the front door. The town's Nurse Joy welcomed them in as a female Indeedee brought out a stretcher for Razor and Camilla to sit on. The two were wheeled away as the two trainers went over to grab some grub over at the food court. Jason got a hearty Miso Tofu Soup while Saria got a Teriyaki Rice Bowl, chatting as they ate.

"Have you heard about what's been going on around Daegar, Saria?" asked Jason. "A Team Rocket sleeper cell had been busted in Ritz Regal City yesterday."

"Yeah, I know," replied Saria. "I can't believe those Kanto terrorists managed make a foothold here in Daegar. It's kinda scary to think that these violent bastards can just pop up wherever and just wreck havoc all over the place."

"You telling me," replied Jason. "I can't believe those ass hats are still around after Kanto champion Red socked it to them hard. I hear they're even recruiting people here in Daegar to go and cause crap like stealing people's pokemon and stuff."

"If any one of those goons tried to take Razor away from me, I'd-" began Saria. And so the two began to talk more about the situation. As the two talked about the rise in crime in the Daegar Region, they also began to discuss a current trend that has been making headway with young people like themselves. "You been hearing about people doing... you know, with their pokemon pals?" asked Jason in a hushed tone, and he was right to being cautious.

What Jason was hinting at was the act of Pokephilia, or people having romantic and even sexual relationships with their pokemon. The reason Jason was hesistant to simply blurt it out was the fact that Pokephilia was still a taboo in society, despite all the headway that it had made. Though the act of loving, and even having sex with, pokemon was legal by Daegar Region law, the truth was that most people were far from accepting of it. It was a taboo that could even get people shunned by the rest of society, and even discussing it could be hazardous to one's name.

"I've heard so many people get antsy over it," replied Saria. "I just feel like people are making too big of a fuss over it."

"You think?"

"I just think of it that way," replied Saria. "I mean, I don't plan on doing it myself anytime soon, but I just say leave the people alone and let them have their fun. Not to mention that Halloween is just around the corner, so I bet tons of Pokephiles will be out and about dressed as Pokemon."

"Maybe you're right. All I know is that I wouldn't want to be any of their sorry asses if they get found out. You remember how James last year got blasted on the front page of the news over the love affair he's been having with his Leavanny. Poor dude has been shunned so much that I don't think he's shown his mug in public since then."

Saria could feel the pain that the man Jason described must've gone through.

James Pitch was one of Jason's workmates over at the Silph Co. Pokeball Plant, and a rather bright employee who solved many a problem that the factory faced. But he was also a Pokephile who was found out by local Anti-Pokephilia crusaders, especially by a anti-pokephilia Priest by the name of Matthew Grint. Grint was the one who exposed James to the world, as well as several more people who were living a regular life until they were found out. Father Grint was a staunch conservative of the Church of Arceus who absolutely hated Pokephiles and did as much as he could to expose them to the world. He was also a strict follower of the gospel of the church, making sure to chastish any who would stray from the path.

Saria didn't like Father Grint all that much, though she couldn't find a reason to hate him either. Though he was a harsh man, aparently that's what the current world needed. She didn't mind much the notion of Pokephilia, though she also wasn't much for it either. But any notion that she was an innocent flower would be shot down by simply viewing her browser data on her laptop or phone. Saria was a major pervert who was also a kink, more attracted to pornographic scenes of bondage and dominace than the average person would be comfortable with. She even bolstered an array of toys which she would use to her own pleasure, though the only other person who knew of her perverted ways was Razor. Still, she found it hard to think that she could ever become a pokephile even if she wanted to.

"Anyways," began Jason, "I hope Halloween is all swell and nice. It's only a few weeks away, and I feel like I wanna go all out and party."

"We can have one over at my house," replied Saria. "I totally got enough space in the backyard to have a DJ and a dance floor. Maybe you can get Kiara and Justin to get on board and come over to help out."

"Kiara, maybe, but Justin ain't much of a party animal," noted Jason. "He'll come, but I think he'll be all uncomfortable and stuff. You know how his mental illness got him all messed up and stuff, so I kinda want to be sensitive with him and-"

The recovery bell rang to alert Saria and Jason that their pokemon were healed. The two had already finished their meals, and so they went over to meet their fully recovered pals. When the two arrived, Razor and Camilla walked out of the treatment room, feeling better than ever.

"How you doing, Froggy?" asked Saria.

"Greninja. Ninja, ja." 'Better, though the nurse was a little harsh with the needle,' he joked as he rubbed his backside.

'Oh, don't remind me,' griped Camilla. 'Nurse Joy stuck in the syringe like she was going to carve me up with it.'

"You're pokemon are better now, you two," said Nurse Joy as she came to greet the trainers, smiling as she did. "They're looking quite chipper at the moment."

"Blaze blaze." 'As chipper as being stabbed by a sharp needle can be,' chided Camilla.

"Thanks, Nurse Joy," replied Saria.

And with that the two pairs headed out. It was now the later part of the day, but the weekend had just gotten started. Today was Friday, and thanks to today being a government Furlough day, Saria had a three day weekend ahead of her. Jason also had today furloughed, which was why he was able to have a battle with her. But, he also had to do work at home, meaning that he had to part ways with her now.

"It's a drag to do this shit out of hours, but at least I'll get the project I'm working on done quicker," he said. "I guess I'll see you two later, eh?"

"Sure thing, Jason," smiled Saria. "See you soon."

"Blaze." 'Good-bye, Razor honey. I'll battle you again soon.'

"Ninja." 'See you again soon, Camilla,' replied Razor.

And with that, the two friends went their seperate ways. The walk home wasn't very long, as it wa actually about four blocks from the Pokemon Center. And so, Saria arrived at her small two story home with a tudor roof and design. It was her comfy abode, her own castle where whatever happened inside stayed inside. The mail was already delivered, to which she smacked her lips in distaste at seeing that it was mainly bills and advertisement flyers. One unlocked deadbolt later and the two entered the house.

*sigh* "What a day, right Razor?"

"Ninja." 'You said it, Saria,' Razor replied.

Saria collapsed onto a brown loveseat that was facing the TV, which she then turned on with the remote. She began to think of her conversation with Jason over things that have been going on, especially the whole scene with the rise in crime. Sure enough, the TV news broadcast a headline over a Pokemon Center that had been raided in Ritz Regal City. The Las Vegas of Daegar, of course, was far from a safe place to life, being that it hosted gambling, booze, and many more vices that Saria preferred to stay away from. She hoped that the criminals they had talked about would stay as far away from Lakeshire Town as possible, and even more so from people who she cared about.

But one thing that stuck with her and kept her thinking was the subject of Pokephilia. She kept thinking long and hard about her stance with this. Was it really as bad as people make it out to believe? She couldn't think of a reason why people should hate on those who practiced it. It made sense if one were to look at it from a religious viewpoint. Perhaps the Alpha would be displeased with humans and pokemon blatantly making love. But would Arceus truly condone such a thing, even if he didn't mind it much? Saria turned her head to look at Razor, who was reading a book as he sat on a cushy seat. She began to look at him as though she were a pokephile. She looked at his muscular body, his toned abs and chest, and even his his cute face as he read away, his eye seemingly closed as he just peacefully read his book. She didn't feel too much of the pokephile vibe, though she did note that he was quite handsome, as far as pokemon were concerned. She then decided to take a more devious approach, maybe imagine some dirty scenes in her head. She tried to imagine Razor bedding her, and the look and feel of his phalus as it came out of him. She went on to image such his touh, how smooth it would be and how good it would feel, to even taste him and-

'Whoa...' thought Saria. The thoughts were becoming easier to think of. She began to become rather surprised by how easily they were coming and how far her imagination was taking her. Yet for some reason, she was not disturbed at all by this. The thoughts seemed to feel completely natural, as though she were thinking all of this towards a human. And she actually felt that she wouldn't mind at all getting romantic with her froggy, and for sure that he'd be glad about the whole thing happening. She loved Razor a ton, and she would do just about anything to make him happy.

Was this the mentality that people have when they take the plunge into this, she thought? But still, she managed to keep her heads out of the clouds as she continued to fantasize about her cute frog prince sitting on the couch. After a while, the Greninja took notice and began took a look at her. Saria immediately looked away, feeling rather embarrased over all the naughty thoughts she was thinking of him. Still, the thoughts persisted long after she decided to watch TV some more.

What became clear was that the seeds of things to come were planted, and so the future would come to bear what Saria had sown. She decided to watch more news on the crime wave at Ritz Regal City as she hoped that Team Rocket would stay as far away from Lakeshire Town and her pokemon as possible.

She hoped that the whole Pokephilia issue would blow over, and hoped that the coming Halloween would be full of fun and excitement...
