"We're almost there!"

Agumon was leading his two companions, Veemon and Guilmon, through the ruins of an old ancient forest temple. The trio of Digimon had spent the last three days trying to find the inner sanctum through the maze of corridors and rooms, and now, after all this time, they were getting close to their goal. Once there, a single beam of light shined down from the ceiling. Atop the pedestal in the middle of the room, was the treasure that they had been looking for!

"Finally, we found it!" Veemon said.

"At long last, we found the treasure!" Guilmon said, panting hard as he was still exhausted from the trek.

"We did it guys!" Agumon said, "Vee, why don't you do the honors and grab the treasure and bring it back!"

"On it!" Veemon said. The blue digimon stepped forward. There didn't seem to be any traps of any kind around, but they couldn't be too sure.

As Veemon climbed up the stairs, he looked down at his companions and then reached the top. There was a box on the pedestal. Veemon opened it up with an excited and expectant look upon his face. There, inside the treasure box, were three necklaces with the male symbol upon them.

"Is that it?" He thought, taking each of the three into his hands. His look soured slightly, but he still kept a hold of them.

"How is it up there!" Agumon said.

"There's treasure here for sure..." Veemon started, "But I'm not sure how valuable it is."

"Well, bring it down here anyway." Agumon said.

Veemon was coming back down, holding onto the trio of treasures before bringing them forward to his two companions. What he didn't seem to notice was that he had gradually and slowly gotten bigger as he was going down the stairs. Originally he was the shortest of the trio but now that he was back with the others, he had grown just enough to be equal in size to them both!

"Whoa, what happened to you, Veemon!" Guilmon said.

"You're looking good!" Agumon said, "But where's the treasure?"

Veemon was busy looking over himself and he missed Agumon's words for a moment. But, then the self-appointed group leader repeated himself.

"Sweet!" Guilmon said.

The other two each took one of the necklace that Veemon was holding and put them on, with Veemon adding his on last. Almost instantly, the change started to occur. A sudden shock and pulse of energy and power rocked through their bodies once they were wearing them, and their bodies and forms started to swell outward!
