After high school was over, life was proving to be challenging, but not so difficult. Haru and Legoshi managed to form an adorable couple together, and they were working hard to maintain it. Surprisingly, the relationship between a carnivore and a herbivore was enough to influence the city to feel more open about the possibility for animals so different to live a happy and long life together.

Other carnivore and herbivore couples came along the way after Haru and Legoshi decide to break the taboo. One of them was Louis and Juno. Both of them being very active and Alpha during their time at drama school. In the end, it felt natural for them to come into a relationship together.

Despite all the tension, especially after dealing with the Shishigumi directly, Legoshi and Louis managed to maintain a good friendly relationship after the incident. And so did Haru and Juno. A little bit later on, after both couples were a little bit more established, Haru and Juno decided to go for a double date with the two couples dining together. The idea sounded good, and Louis certainly didn't complain about it. Both the Deer and Juno were quite more extroverted and outgoing than Haru and Legoshi.

Haru accepted the idea after some convincing from Juno, and Legoshi, of course, needed some good time talking with Haru first. But after that, the male Gray Wolf came to accept it somewhat fine, giving his overthinking nature. Although, that didn't mean Legoshi would achieve the difficult task of showing up for dinner on time. In fact, by the time the Gray Wolf remembered he was supposed to be at the main city restaurant, he was about 15 minutes late.

In the meantime, Juno, Louis, and Haru were just making themselves comfortable. The reservation Louis made was waiting for them.

"I heard you and Legoshi are going to expand the garden shop. Things have been going well to both of you, it seems."

Juno casually asked as she gently gestured with her hands before Louis continued right after her sentence.

"With Legoshi's delay is hard to believe it came to become true, though."

As always, some things never change, and the acid sense of humor from that Deer was still present within his personality, despite some life-changing events happening to him. Being a fast thinker, Haru immediately replied.

"Well, excuse me for a minute. But I think I'll take the opportunity to go to the restroom."

"Ah, I'll go with you, Haru!"

Juno said as she got up. Haru always avoiding engaging in direct conflict thanks to her agreeable nature.

"I got fix my make up."

"Oh! did you get one of those new eye palettes?"

"I did! They are..."

That was all Louis managed to hear as their voices faded away.

"Better text that Graywolf before he ruins the entire dinner."

That was all that the anthropomorphic Deer managed to say as he was about to pull his smartphone out of the inner pocket in his jacket. But before Louis could even have the chance to look at the device's screen, he felt an intense static feeling running throughout his entire body. Of course, the Deer didn't know what was going on. Louis tried to turn his head to the sides to see what was happening. But whatever it was, he felt his body's muscles feeling sore, his eyelids were getting heavy until he collapsed.

Louis's head was throbbing as if a bell clapper had hit it all day long. But that was only the beginning of the Deer's problems. As Louis opened up his eyes and begin to look around his surroundings, it was hard to believe what he saw.

"What?!"

The typical sound of a crowed environment, the intense smell of fresh food in the air indicated that Louis was still precisely in the same place. Although his eyes were showing him an entirely different world. But the Deer's eyes weren't lying. Louis was still at the restaurant. The only difference was its size.

"Th... This... This can't be right!"

Looking around, Louis was able to see the chairs, the tables, everything was magnified to massive proportions. Even the other animals walking in the distance looked like titans to the poor Deer.

"This can't be... What am I? Ant-sized?"

After the initial shock passed, Louis decided to use his brain. He grabbed his phone again, and he thought about doing the most logical thing one could do.

"I'll text Juno and tell her about what happened before she is back and..."

Unfortunately, poor Louis remembered at that very moment that a few hours ago, when they were home, his girl decided to not bring her smartphone with her due to stress and because she wanted to actually be there at the dinner and enjoy the experience. Lucky him, resting by his side a few centimeters away was Haru's mobile. The massive object was only a few centimeters away. Still, from Loui's perspective, the imposing object was hours of walking away.

"Haru... Haru... where is it?"

It felt like the universe was conspiring against Louis, especially him, the one so used to do everything perfect and fine all the time. The realization he was finding it hard to find a simple phone number on his own phone agenda only made him feel more miserable than usual. To make it worse, time was playing against Louis.

Suddenly, the ant-sized anthropomorphic Deer felt the table's surface underneath his feet shaking. The tremors were very soft at the beginning, but they increased in power and intensity very rapidly. It wasn't long until the form of a Rabbit entered into his field of view, full-filling it entirely.

"Haru!..."

The Deer interjected. That white Rabbit, a small animal, was now standing and looming over him like a giant! More than a giant. She looked bigger and taller than any skyscraper he could possibly imagine. And yet, she still looked like an adorable and harmless creature. Until she decided to rest her fingertips on the surface of the table before continuing her conversation with the wolf girl who was just right behind her.

"I KNOW! ITSN'T IT AMAZING? LEGOSHI AND I HAVE BEEN DOING SO WELL AT THE GARDENING SHOP THAT HE EVEN BOUGHT ME A NEW SMARTPHONE."

Poor Louis, Haru's voice, which was always so sweet and soft, sounded like an imposing thunder. The miniature Deer felt tormented by every single word coming out of her mouth, and he wasn't even close to it. But that was only the beginning of his problems as she casually moved her fingers into his direction.

Having almost no time to recover, Louis was forced to run for his life as the imposing shadow of a single thumb was approaching. The tiny Deer made it, but the colossal thumb landed right behind him and displaced enough air to throw him into the air and forcing him to land on the table's surface horns first.

Louis was feeling disoriented, and for a brief moment, he felt disconnected from the reality around him. That was enough for him not to notice the equally titanic skunk approaching. The massive skunk brought with him an enormous tray, and on top of it, there were four plates.

"YOU CAN SET EVERYTHING ON THE TABLE PLEASE. WE ARE WAITING FOR MORE PEOPLE."

The loud, empowering voice came from Juno. The female wolf merely talking to the waiter, but again what was a simple sentence to someone normal-sized felt like Havok forces to someone Louis-sized. Despite the sheer voice of his own girlfriend shaking him to the core, Louis was almost getting himself back to his feet. But then, following his girl's orders, the massive skunk placed the meals on the table.

As simple as possible and as delicate as possible, the first plate landed somewhat far from Loui's position. Although the impact of the giant porcelain object landing made the poor Deer hover in the air for a second, before falling back to the table's surface. Louis knew he didn't have much time and that he got do something before it was too late. Unfortunately, as he was getting himself back up to his feet and pondering whether if he should run for shelter or grab his phone again to try to desperately contact someone normal-sized, a large shadow loomed over him.

Looking upwards, Louis saw a vast black furry covered wrist bringing down a plate right on top of him.

"No!!! Wait! Wait! Wait!"

That was all he said before he herbivore legs started to run, trying to escape the imminent obliteration. The closer the giant skunk lowered his hand, the closer the shadow came. Louis could even feel the fast and intense airflow passing through his diminutive body. The flow was getting stronger as the plate was getting closer. Eventually, the airflow plucked him out of the ground and carried him along as if he were dust in the wind.

The airflow moving around the shape of the plate created a vortex movement, which only served to carry the Poor Deer upwards along with the form of the plate. All of that could only be noticed by someone as small as Louis was. Finally, the airflow deposited Louis on the ground again. However, this time the tiny Deer wasn't standing on a solid floor like before.

"Where am I?..."

Almost immediately after saying that, his whole world was thrown into motion again. Louis was still feeling disoriented and lost. As the new landscape in front of him begin to move again, the puny Deer was thrown into the air one more time, this time he landed right into a gelatinous substance. Louis struggled for air as he was forced to make it back to the surface to breathe. Inevitably, some of the substance got into his mouth.

"A tomato?!?!?"

The realization only made the poor male shake in fear as he realized he landed inside the locular cavity of a single slice of a tomato! That one slice alone was incredibly huge! Looking around, Louis had no idea where exactly he was. On what part of the food he was now standing on. It was undeniable he landed inside someone's plate, but he had no idea who the plate belonged to.

The poor Deer was running out of time. As if the quakes and vibrations all around him were not enough, all of a sudden, an intense roar broke the silence and stunned Louis's ears. The next events were equally disturbing as the mass of food around him was ripped apart. A tremendous, large, solid wall ran in front of him, creating a division between him and the rest of the food. It was only when that wall moved away from Louis he realized it was nothing but a single tooth. A tooth that was larger than his entire body.

Louis stared in awe and watched massive lips came right after to cover the tooth and seal the food inside the mouth. The massive jaws right in front of him got to work immediately after the lips were sealed, chewing everything that happened to be deposited inside the mouth only to release a considerable loud gulp.

The lips and cheeks stop moving for a brief moment before they opened up again. This time since Louis was right on the edge of the meal, he got an up-close view from the insides of the mouth and its vastness. Some small chunks of food stuck around the gums and between the teeth were about his size if not bigger.

Luckily, immediately after the lips opened up, they closed themselves right after. The booming sound of someone speaking was the last thing Louis heard before his world moved again. This time the tiny Deer felt the sheer mass of food he was currently stuck in landing back onto a surface.

"WHERE IS LOUIS? WASN'T HIM JUST HERE?"

"YEAH! HE WAS. HE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT LEAVING."

The booming voices were so loud Louis could barely understand what they were saying. But it wasn't his primary concern. The Deer was more concerned with squirming around the pieces of giga-sized condiments, doing his best to try and get away from the edge of that food before the girls decide to take another bite out of it, taking him along with it as if he were an extra ingredient.

The pathetic Deer's heart was almost jumping out of his chest as he did his very best to try and move. After a while, Louis thought about stopping for a moment to recover his energy and to put his thoughts in order.

"Alright! Think Louis! Juno didn't bring her phone, and Haru got a new one..."

The small Deer was feeling exhausted, being so minuscule like he was, and being forced to squirm around food condiments which were very well bigger than him drained his energy, especially now that the adrenaline running through his punny body was fading away.

"Of course! Legoshi!"

The small Deer immediately removed his smartphone out of his blazer pocket again--this time texting the gray wolf instead.

Legoshi was about to step into the restaurant when his smartphone begins to buzz, insistently forcing the gray wolf to stop a few steps away from the front door to check it.

"Ah! Why so insistent, I told Jack I was going on a date today... What?! Louis?..."

That was certainly out of the ordinary. It never occurred to Legoshi Louis could present that kind of behavior. The Wolf thought his friend could be in some sort severe, dangerous situation. Legoshi immediately grabbed the phone and started to text back, not even minding that he was blocking the sidewalk.

"Louis? What happened? What is going on?"

"Logoshi! I need your help! I'm about to be devoured!"

"What?! Where are you?! I thought you were at the restaurant with the girls! Are they..."

"Logoshi! Just stop and pay attention because we don't have much time. Haru is fine! The girls are fine! Listen, I don't know how to explain it exactly, but you'll have to trust me. I... was shrunk... somehow... and..."

Louis's profile changed from online to offline on Legoshi's screen. Legoshi was feeling startled, but also very confused.

"Louis? You what?? Well, where are you then? Louis?"

The gray wolf had no idea, but his friend was one more time dealing with the sheer power imposed by his girlfriend. Haru was simply lifting the sandwich out of the table, preparing to take one more bite out of it, not even knowing about the small Deer inside of it. Louis only had a few moments to do something; looking backward, the anthro male herbivore could see the massive lips opening up one more time and approaching. Putting all his hopes ontop of Legoshi, the small Deer focused on his smartphone again and got back to texting.

"Legoshi! After I shrunk, I fell on top of the table's surface. I'm not sure what happened next, but I end up inside someone's meal. One of the girl's meals! Legoshi, no matter what happens. Don't let Haru or Juno eat me!"

If Louis was telling the truth, Legoshi could still try to save him. The gray wolf had a short and fast moment of insight after reading his friend's last message. Legoshi headed into the restaurant, walking fast and even being somewhat rude to the clerk at the front door.

Meanwhile, Louis was falling into despair. The puny Deer saw in pure awe as the enormous teeth loomed above the piece of the meal he was stuck in and then passed beyond him, preparing to land far behind his current location and then rip out a big chunk of food out of it. Although this time, Louis would certainly be going along for the ride. However, this time the smart Deer managed to recognize the massive pair of extensive teeth.

"It's Haru! Legoshi! I'm stuck inside Haru's meal! She's about to eat me!"

Louis texted as fast as possible, but a few seconds after he sent the message, the gargantuan rabbit teeth landed on the mass of sandwich. The poor herbivore felt the whole world shaking, an imposing sound of bread being shred by the force of a fellow herbivore simply taking a bite out of it. Louis's heartbeat was peacing as his situation only got worse as Haru's teeth finally dragged that piece of sandwich into her mouth.

"Legoshi! It's Haru! I'm in her meal!"

But that was the last message the miniature Deer managed to send. The Rabbit tongue got into motion, throwing the ant-sized Deer around. Louis landed face-first on the soft, pink surface of Haru's tongue. Her taste buds were only a bit smaller than him. He barely had time to get himself back to his feet to stare at the vastness of her maw as the ground underneath moved, generating a rumbling noise at the same time.

Louis was thrown against a massive, white wall. A single molar was as tall as a house if compared to him. The Deer did his best to hold on tight against the base of that tooth for dear life as he watched the imposing row of teeth chewing and tearing apart the food, destroying it carelessly as if it were nothing. Unfortunately, the poor Deer's plan didn't work out as Louis expected. Without warning, a pool amount of droll crashed against the base of the tooth he was located, washing him away as if he were hit by a surf wave.

For a brief moment, Louis found himself laying on top of the molar he was previously holding on tightly. Completely socked in Rabbit's saliva, Louis got to look at the huge, solid surface of Haru's upper molar for a brief moment before it lowered itself on top of the molar he was currently laying. The Deer's survival instincts kicked in, forcing him to jump out of the tooth, landing back on the tongue's surface.

"LEGOSHI! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I WAS GETTING CONCERNED ABOUT YOU"

The booming voice coming from the depths of the bunny throat would have been enough to shake Louis's body even if he wasn't close to her mouth. But since he was inside of it, the shockwaves of her sentences shook his bones to the core. The Deer was lucky enough to avoid being swallowed among the chewed pieces of sandwich, but not so lucky to avoid the overpowering movements of that endless, massive tongue.

As Haru spoke to Legoshi, her tongue tossed Louis all around in her mouth, the poor Deer did his best to avoid end up being thrown towards her throat, but it was useless. Given Louis's small stature as he was tossed into the esophagus, he passed right through it without even been registered as a small itch by the titanic Rabbit.

"Ah, sorry about the delay... I was... helping Louis..."

The Gray Wolf responded, using his hand to scratched the back of his neck as he usually does whenever he is lying.

"But Louis was just right here, did you see him?"

Juno asked, sounding somewhat concerned because it was very odd to Louis to vanish like this without giving an explanation. The Deer was just too elegant and too polite to be able to do something like that.

"Ah... yeah!... Don't worry, he is fine. I have been texting him. He said he was feeling sick. He told me to send apologies for leaving suddenly."

Meanwhile, the puny, tiny Deer was free-falling after he has traveled through the extension of the entire esophagus only to land on an ocean of pure acid inside Haru's stomach. It had never occurred to Louis that one day he was going to be devoured, entirely and alive, and by a fellow herbivore. Luckily, the teeny Deer landed on top of a partially digested piece of sandwich. Given his current size, even the smallest contact to the stomach acid could result in immediate disintegration.

Louis was in shock. However, he was still conscious, and he still had his phone at hand. Putting his best hopes together, the Deer managed to text his wolf friend one more time before that island of food he was floating on top of gets dissolved.

As the Gray Wolf sat at the table, his phone buzzed one more time. He knew it was probably Louis, so he didn't hesitate to check it.

"Legoshi! I'm in her stomach, but I'm still alive! Please get me out here!"

After reading that message, the Wolf knew he got to think about something and fast. Although, he couldn't let the girls notice the severity of the situation unfolding. Especially Haru, Legoshi had no idea how a soft bunny girl such as Haru would react. Fortunately, Legoshi saw the waiter passing by, and he had another moment of insight.

"Hey, would you like something to drink? I'm feeling thirsty. Would you?"

The Gray Wolf asked, looking at both girls. Juno accepted the offer spontaneously. Haru demonstrated some aversion to the idea shortly, but she also accepted aftward.

All the while, Louis was running out of time. The ant-sized Deer watched in awe as the stomach's massive walls around him begin to the contract and secrete more acid into that endless ocean. But, without a warning and all of a sudden, a waterfall-like liquid begins to fall from the Bunny's esophagus. The liquid was dark and was mint heavy scented. It also was gasified.

"Soft drink?"

The Deer was right. The bunny girl just took a sip on a soft drink can. The amount of liquid falling into her stomach was massive from Louis's perspective. It wasn't long until the drink started to do its effects. The massive ocean of acid around the Deer turned into a raging sea. Bubbles of gas started to form. Some of those bubbles were bigger than Louis himself.

Louis immediately figured out. He was staring at his only chance of getting out of that Rabbit's stomach alive. The Deer didn't waste much time. As soon a bubble large enough to carry him out of there formed nearby, he jumped out of the small island of food right inside of it.

"Haru, please tell me your new phone number. I think Louis and I didn't note it."

The female Gray Wolf asked. As Haru was about to tell her, she accidentally let out a small, shy burp scape her lips.

"Oops. Sorry about it. But here, my new number is..."

All the while, Louis was once again free-falling, but this time he was back to the outside world. The punny Deer landed on the table's surface, conveniently closer to Legoshi's fingers. After taking a few moments to recover from the long endeavor, Louis grabbed that life savior phone one more time, texting out a message to his best friend.

"You made it! She burped me out. I'm on the table, on the side of your finger!"

After allowing the miniature Deer to climb on his digit, Legoshi apologized to the girls, coming up with an excuse to leave the restaurant without touching on his food.

"But you barely had a can of soft drink. Are you ok, Legoshi?"

"Yes, I'm fine, Haru. I just got another text from Louis. He seems to have got worse. I'll go check on him."

Juno immediately stood up, right after Legoshi.

"I'll go with you, he's my boyfriend."

"Oh! No! No! No! Louis told me he didn't want to mess with the dinner. Don't worry, I'll take him back to the campus... Ah... I got to go. I'll call you two later."

Haru and Juno were left by themselves at the restaurant, both confused and a little bit lost. But they decided not to mind it at all too much. With luck, nobody besides Louis and Legoshi would come to know about the day a soft, short white Rabbit almost devoured another animal.
