V25: Final Tester
For the next month we didn't talk much. We wanted to but it was to awkward. I would try to say something but couldn't. But life kept on. Now we came to the final tester. Normally I'd be ecstatic but with the isolation between me and Renamon? Forget happiness in general.
Renamon: poke Nathan?
I stirred realizing I had been day-dreaming. I open my eyes and saw that Renamon was now standing over me.
Nathan: Hm, what is it? It must be urgent considering that you haven't been talking to me lately.
Renamon: Well, like it or not the fifth tester will be here soon. And that means we'll be biomerging again soon,so there's no point in not talking.
Nathan: Oh ya.
I slipped back into deep thought . Biomerging scared me. I was afraid I'd take another memory of Matt fro her. If I did that I don't think I'd be able to keep going. Wait . . . If I can take memories from her, perhaps . . .
Nathan: Whatever. When we finish this one, we can start the next phase, right?
Renamon: Yes. One step closer to avenging Matt . . .
I think we were remembering the same thing, Matt dieing in her arms. After a little a brilliant green
portal opened. And two figures steeped out?
?: That is the last time I let Knox near the d-ark!
?: Oh relax hun! I beat you were the same at his age!
?: At his age I wouldn't have been going to middle school!
When the portal closed I saw who it was. An older kid with a terriermon perched on his shoulder. They appeared to be arguing.
Renamon: Wyatt?
The boy looked over at us and so did the terriermon. When they saw Renamon their jaws both dropped. They dashed over, the terriermon holing on for dear life.
Wyatt: RENAMON! ITS GOOD TO SEE YOU!
He half tackled her and they feel over in a heap. After getting up and brushing himself this, Wyatt, was grinning from ear to ear.
Renamon: It's good to see you two! How's Knox?
Wyatt: Little guys still getting smarter. Three and already in 5th grade.
Terriermon: Sorry he gets sentimental. Between the D-Power and his knowledge-
Nathan: Did you say D-Power?
Wyatt: Ah. I take it this Matt's replacement?
Renamon: Yes. He's quite blunt.
Terriermon: We're sorry we couldn't be there for you. We had to go on a mission right beforewe got the news.
I interjected again. This was getting to strange.
Nathan: What a minute! You two knew Matt?
Wyatt: Don't you remember me?
Nathan: No? Should I?
Wyatt: Wyatt, Alex, Nick, Matt.
My eyes widened. It couldn't be, not another one!
Nathan: YOUR THE WYATT FROM SCHOOL!
Wyatt: Very observant.
Nathan: WHY IS ANOTHER CLASSMATE A TAMER!!?
Wyatt: Then prepare to crap your pants. Me, Matt, and Caden were all DP tamers.
Nathan: THATS IMPOSSIBLE! THERES NO WAY ALL MY FRIENDS COULD ALL HAVE DP!
Wyatt: That's what we thought. Then we found out, DP users send off a small signal, so we cluster together. Once they found a group of five close friends were all DP users.
I just sat down and let myself steam for a bit. The three of them just chatted about people and things I didn't know about. Eventually Renamon tapped my shoulder.
Renamon: It's time.
Wyatt: Here you go.
He offered me his hand to help me up. After pulling me up he got from his back pocket two blue cards!
Wyatt: It's time we got down to business. DIGI-MODIFY! "BIOMERGE!"
He turned into light and so did Terriermon. Who jumped and landed on his head. Then his frame burst
outward. When he re-solidified he was a megagargomon!
Megagargomon: Well! Biomerge!
Nathan: DIGI-MODIFY! "BIOMERGE!"
I turned into light and so did Renamon, we ran at each other and collided. Then We burst outward. And then we were,
KYUBLADMON!
Megagargomon: Nice name! Now for the formal stuff. We are your final tester, a biomerged tamer.
With the most power and intellect of any digimon we are the last highest level of digimon! NOW FIGHT!
He rushed at me his rocket pack propelling him forward. When I close to him I saw just how massive he was. I was a good seven feet but he was at least eight!
Kyublademon: LETS GO! KITSUNE STYLE, BLADE RAIN!
As he made contact with me I warped behind him and flipped out my blades. He turned to face me but I phased through him, slashing and hacking as I went.
Megagargomon: That tickled! BURST SHOT!
He pointed his hands at me and shot a hailstorm of lasers. I warped again but was caught by a few of the lasers. My legs armor was now tattered and falling apart.
Kyublademon: DANCE OF TWIN BLADES!
I rush him spinning my daggers. In a clatter of metal and sparks I go flying past him. Still not a scratch!
Megagargomon: Boy! You will never be able to cut me with those puny blades!
He reaches over to me and slaps me up into the air. He pulls back and punches me! I go flying 25 feet up and fall back to earth with a dull thump.
Kyublademon: I cough won't wheeze LOSE! DANCE OF TWIN BLADES!
I go flying at him and and manage to cut his face. Bleeding a little he looks down at me. I'm laying on the ground wheezing and coughing.
Megagargomon: Your pushing yourself! Do another move like that and your probably ganna die! I hope you know that with that punch I broke 7 ribs! And that little dance broke the rest!
I stand up. And I look at him. Hunched and wheezing I say,
Kyublademon: Would Matt have given up?
Megagargomon: INSOLENT WHELP! NEVER TALK LIKE THAT AGAIN! GIANT MISSILE!
He pulls back his arms and fire the two giant that are his shoulders. They slowly kick off and then fire and both hit me. I lost all feeling and I was falling . . . falling . . . falling.
I was back in that ocean from my dream. I started to swim, trying to find a wall. I found it and started to attack it!
Nathan: I NEED THE D POWER! NOW BREAK!
As if on command the wall shattered. I swam into the new area and felt the flaming return to my limbs!
Nathan: I FEEL ALIVE!
Even though I felt more powerful then I ever had before, I knew that to beat Wyatt I'd need more! So I swam on. Then all of a sudden, I force pushed me back. Then I went flying back into my own ocean. I think I heard a faint voice.
?: Not yet boy . . . not yet
Then I reemerged from my subconscious. I was lying on the ground, still biomerged. I felt something poke me.
Megagargomon: I think he's still alive.
Kyublademon: I SURE AS HELL AM!
I bolted up and felt alive again. I didn't get all the power I wanted but I felt I could beat him.
Megagargomon: Your still alive? I beat it's due to the D-Power, to bad I can't use mine.
Kyublademon: While I was down I realized something. Your right this tiny little daggers are to small to hurt you! So I'll have to upgrade.
Megagargomon: Upgrade? What do you mean, upgrade?
I belted my daggers back into their scabbards. Then I reached my right arm to my shoulder, and a new scabbard appeared. I pulled out the new sword. I four foot long japanese katana.
Kyublademon: Kitsune style, Wing of the Dragon, KATANA DANCE!
Megagargomon: What are you doing?
I started to spin my katana in circles and then I rushed him. I phased through him and with a few flashes, I had cut his arms off. I turned to him.
Kyublademon: What now, boy?
Megagargomon: Now, you win.
His shoulders started to spark and then he exploded.
We split and I hit the ground rolling. I turned around and looked at Renamon, grinning.
Nathan and Renamon: WE DID IT!
We hi fived ad I she did a little jig.
Renamon: Who did you do that katana thing?
Nathan: When I used the D-Power it sparked my brain for a second. Then I got the idea, put my swords together and I did it.
I shrugged and the DP suppresser watch fell of my wrist. I picked it up, it was totally fried.
Renamon: Must have shorted when you used the D-Power. You should get a new one when we go to the AFT tomorrow.
Nathan: I've past the testers and I think I can make my own decisions. Like this.
I stood up and grabbed Renamon's shoulder. Then I spun her around and grabbed her hands. I leaned in and kissed her, deeply. She started to struggling, but I had her hands and wasn't letting her go. Then she stopped struggling, she started to kiss me back. I let go over her hands and I wrapped mine around her hips. She wrapped her around mine as well and we just made out. After About a minute we broke apart, both gasping for air.
Nathan: I pant have pant wanted to pant do that pant for the longest pant time!
Renamon: Me pant to!
I wrapper her in my arms and we just sat down, in the dirt. After a while I decided it was a good time to ask.
Nathan: So, do I get that date now?
She looks up at me, eyes glittering.
Renamon: Yes!
