I can see, within your smile,
the echo of music forgotten.
I can feel; once held within my arms,
your love, your trust, and your friendship.
Head held high against the night,
the universe convulses, but of the shelter
of this place.
Of Home.
No power can touch within.
I seek only to see that smile.
No matter to cause or source.
No matter where or whom your heart rests with.
It's your smile I wake up to.
And see so my joy...
It's your calming breath I hear...
