Creating Horrors

For Paqu

By Draconicon

Mmmph...you love horror so much, and you can't even walk down an alleyway, Vicky thought to herself as she looked down the dark, shadowed avenue between the buildings. Nothing's there. It's just...dark.

And yet, that was all it took to keep the horror enthusiast from taking even a single step between the buildings. The darkness hid many things, and most of them were, realistically, a lot worse than the things that were in the books she read. She stared into the shadows for a few more seconds, shaking her head a few times.

Come on. Just one step. That'll get you started. One step, and it's a twenty-minute shortcut out of the way.

That was the only reason that she was tempted by the alley at all. The other route would take her around several huge structures and through the closing shopping mall at the end of the street to get to the other side. This one would just take her there.

Just one step.

Vicky took that step, almost jumping out of her skin at the loud click her heel made when it hit the concrete again. She blushed, shaking her head.

Okay, you did the one. Now another.

Another step, then another, and the fourth one took her off the sidewalk and in-between the buildings. Shadows and darkness swallowed her up, leaving her out of sight, even to the moon.

The great brick apartments soared over either side of her as she walked around one dumpster and approached the second, but her skin continued to prickle more and more with goosebumps and nervous anticipation. She swore that something bad was going to happen before she got out of the alley, something horrible that would mark her for the rest of her life.

Ten more steps.

She forced herself to take another, and another, each time feeling like she was walking right for her doom.

Seven more steps.

She was partway around the dumpster, her eyes fixed on the street on the other side. Just a few more, but that feeling wouldn't go away.

Four more steps.

She was around it, and the sidewalk beckoned.

One step.

And then there was none.

Vicky stood just outside the light of a street lamp, staring forward. Two cars drove by, the sound of whirring engines roaring through the night, and she let out a long, slow sigh of relief, clutching her arms to her chest.

Then, it happened.

"GAH!"

She yelped as she was yanked back into the alley, long, slender limbs wrapped around her middle. They squeezed, and squeezed hard, cutting off her air as something that was as smooth as water but not nearly as wet started to spread up and down her back. Wherever it touched, her clothes seemed to melt away, her skin covered with something smooth, cool, and...and yet, living.

"Let me go! Let me go!"

Her shouts were quickly muffled as the smooth stuff shot up the back of her neck, wrapping up and around the base of her chin and then around her face. It covered her mouth first, and then her nose, making it nearly impossible for her to breathe. She gasped for air, her eyes going wide as she struggled against the restraints that were already forming around her.

With her arms pulled behind her back and her legs giving out, she hit the ground just behind the dumpster, forced to kneel as the strange ooze continued to roll over her, covering her from head to toe in the strange, latex-like substance. It was cool to the touch, as she'd already noticed, but it was...moving. Even where it had covered her already, it seemed to stir and shift, almost like it was touching her, caressing her.

She whimpered, shaking her head, trying to pull away from it, but it was too close, too intimately close with her. Vicky opened her mouth, trying to scream again -

"MMMPH!"

Only to have something jam its way down her throat, holding her tongue down and keeping her mouth filled, unable to talk, unable to complain, unable to do anything.

She swung her head from side to side, but the further into her the goo went, the more that things started to change. She could feel her body warping, her arms getting longer, and though she could only see the latex doing stuff, she could feel the latex as it spread out, giving her...

Giving her wings.

Her eyes went wider for a split second before they were covered by the ooze as well. Darkness reigned, but she could still feel thing that were impossible.

She could feel the air moving by wings that she didn't have.

She could feel her legs ending in claws that scraped against the building behind her.

She could feel the crack and growing pressure in her face as her lips and nose started to push forward, forming a boxy, blunt muzzle.

And more than anything, she could feel the pressure in her head, the pressure of something else nudging at her, pushing at her thoughts.

Dark. Nightmare. Monster.

The voice was soft, thin, like the whisper of a ghost on the wind, but it was no less real for that. Vicky stiffened as she heard it, her eyes going wider as she felt it nudging at her thoughts, pulling at her memories, and as it did, she could see the memories that it touched moving through her mind.

Memories of werewolves, of monsters in the water, of bug-men that flew through the sky and drained blood as efficiently as the great bats. She saw every bad movie monster and every good one, the old style ones, not the sexy ones. The ones that caused horror, the ones that caused pain and suffering to those that were unlucky enough to cross them.

They kept coming and coming, but underneath them all, the creature seemed to find the one that it liked most...and ironically, the one that she liked most, as well.

The vampire. The ruler of the night. The beast of the skies. The great monster that stirred the heart to fear and had spawned classical tales for years. The thing in the ooze pulled that from her mind, and her eyes finally opened.

She looked down at herself as the restraints eased, pulling her arms forward. Her fingers had grown, and so had her arms, giving her long limbs that made her look almost alien in comparison to what she'd looked like before. The black ooze of the creature - the symbiote, came the word from the creature itself - had covered her arms, draining down in long, bone-like protrusions under her fingers, giving her leathery wings that she somehow knew would be strong enough to carry her through the night.

While she had been restrained, she had felt it working on other things, touching her up, changing her wherever it went, and some of the differences were very striking. Vicky looked past her new muzzle to her chest, staring with mouth open at the bigger, heavier breasts that pushed up against the latex that covered her. She touched them, and could feel it, could actually feel it.

They were real.

And they weren't the only change. As she ran her hands down her sides, she felt her hips swelling outwards, still growing, as was her rump slightly. She could feel the curves that were piling on, and yet, at the same time, she didn't feel that her horror had been cheapened. Even as she opened her mouth, she could feel the fangs that the symbiote had given her, sharp, powerful things that could rip out a throat as well as merely puncture it.

She touched them, and yelped as she felt the point go through her new latex skin. It was...well, definitely sharp.

But that was not all, either. She felt something...pulling...down between her legs, and she spread them, looking down where her panties and jeans had once covered.

What had been a simple slit were growing, puffing out. The old sex was still there, more obvious than ever, but there was something else. A bulge just over it, just above her clit that looked like something pressing up from under a blanket or a towel. Vicky's eyes went wide.

"Oh, you've got to be - nnnngh!"

Her latex flesh 'exploded', and from beneath it came a black shaft, one that oozed, rippled, wriggled free from beneath it. She gasped as it pushed out further and further, dangling down and then swaying from the slight breeze that blew through the alley.

It was a cock. A big, fat cock, too, one that had to be about ten inches long in its flaccid state, and it had a pair of balls with it that just about completely hid her sex.

Vicky didn't dare touch it. She didn't want to know what it would feel like, didn't want to...

She groaned, stumbling back on legs that were longer than she remembered, balancing on feet that were pushing her up on her tiptoes. She pressed her hands to her head as pressure from outside, from the symbiote, grabbed at her and pulled at her mind.

Terror...horror...power...

It was pulling at her memories again, remembering what the vampires were for, and it was injecting something of its own into her head, too. A requirement. A need. An urge to go out and fulfill some purpose.

Some purpose that involved scaring people, in putting them on the right path, the straight and narrow...or something...It was hard to understand, hard to pull together. All that mattered was that she needed to get airborne, now, and start looking for those that might be suitable...

She didn't know the word. Victims? Suspects?

Criminals?

Vicky didn't know, but she knew that she didn't belong on the ground anymore. It was time to take to the sky, so she did.

The End
