Plot: Man dies, & is reincarnated into adopted family dog
Familiar faces all around, none with a smile
It was everyone I loved, cared for, all here for one last little while
The atmosphere was heavy, the room was filled with quiet tears & beeping machines all around
How I wish they could be just a bit louder, just enough to cover that saddening sound
This would be my death bed, of this I had no doubt
It was a farewell gathering, it's what human closure was inevitably about
A few good breathes & smiles to give
I went quicker than I'd hoped, wishing to continue to live
It was, a strange feeling to wake & see my kitchen in front of me
Was this a dream, was it my version of what I wanted to see
It was like everything had grown
Somehow I felt things uneasy, unfamiliar, colors weren't easily being shown
More than that, I heard very well, familiar voices coming near, footsteps, I could somehow smell who it was on the way
Sure enough, giant versions of my family had appeared, some calling to me good morning "Earl Gray"
As I moved forward, & looked down, I could see paws, frightened at what this was, I called out, only to hear a bark, & stares with many shushes given
I was truly an old gray dog, I was still alive, but not sure for how long, Gray's life wasn't the one I'd hoped to keep livin
What a way, what a world to be in after feeling, & living 10ft tall...
Now I'm, furry, gray, old, & 3ft small...
