CHAPTER 2

The morning after, Toan was awoken by the rooster's routine morning caw.

He struggled to open his eyes, not wanting to get up even as the sun hit him in the face through his east facing window. Sweat caked his body, matting down his fur even though he was certain it wasn't hot last night even with his sheets on. Then he tried to turn over only to realize there was something heavy on him preventing him from doing so.

Slowly, he began to crack open his eyes as his room steadily came into focus. This was when he realized the weight he felt was his sister Melie who was still snoring softly while she snuggled up against his torso. Her arms were wrapped firmly around his back and front, preventing him from spreading his arms; which, quite frankly, kind of annoyed him.

"Really? Again? Guess that's why I feel so hot," he muttered with an exasperated sigh.

Toan tried gently to pry his sister off of him to no avail by stretching his arms apart to no avail. If anything, as soon as he made some headway Melie instantly tightened her hold, nuzzling her face into Toan's chest more. This made him blushed despite how peeved he was. Since he and his sister both slept naked this meant that Melie was naked right at that very moment underneath the bed sheets. And even though Toan very much enjoyed the soft and warm feeling of his sister's body pressed against him, he still wished his sister knew the concept of personal space.

"Hey, Melie, wake up." Toan finally managed to pull his arm free and gently shook his sister's shoulders. She scrunched her face up, whining and squirming as she slowly woke up. When she finally cracked open her eyelids she blinked up at Toan's face. He made sure to shoot her a very irritated look.

"Good morning, big bro~" greeted Melie in a happy tone. She still looked tired, but not exactly phased by his over exaggerated pouting. When he realized he was getting nowhere with her, Toan just let out a sigh of resigned acceptance and patted her on the head. He couldn't work up enough frustration required to reprimand her.

"Yeah, good Morning, sis. What are you doing in my-?" Before he could finish the question his eyes fell on spots murky white cum that speckled her lips, and that revelation cascaded into him noticing that there was a perspiring wetness covering his crotch underneath the sheets. His ears stood straight up as he blushed. "N-Nevermind. Let's j-j-just go get breakfast..."

Melie gave him a grin and let go of his torso.

After grooming himself and putting on his clothes he stood for a very long time staring at his reflection in the mirror making sure his beads were aligned symmetrically while also casting glances at his sister who was still lying on the bed. In fact, she had gone right back to sleep as the snoring and slow rising and falling of her chest indicated. This time though she didn't even cover herself with his sheets. She was just laying with one leg hanging off the side splayed wide open. Rather than wake her again Toan went to the kitchen where his mother was humming and cooking breakfast while sounding just a little chipper than usual. A smell of thick salty pork bacon filled the air, filling his mouth with drool as the scent wafted over his muzzle. However, there was something amiss.

He looked around. "Hey, where's dad?" He had just noticed that Dad hadn't gotten up yet which was strange since he normally was a morning person who was always ripe and ready to greet the day.

"Oh, he's going to stay in bed for a little while," answered Pinya, smirking deviously as she flipped a strip of bacon over, causing an uproar in loud greasy sizzling. "So I'm making breakfast today while he, uhm... rests up from working so hard yesterday. Be a dear and take him his plate when I'm done cooking, would you?"

Toan nodded his head vigorously, making his ears flop about. He was eager to do everything he was asked to in order to stay one his parents good side as long as the thoughts of getting into the slime hunt stood firmly at the forefront of his mind. As promised, after his mom had finished preparing the bacon eggs he plated his dad's dish and took it to him in his parent's room. His father was howly quietly in pain, unable to get out of bed. Quite a pathetic sight really. But when the smell of freshly cooked bacon caught his nose his eyes sprung open.

"Do I smell what I think I smell?" he asked, sniffing loudly and tilting his head over. He made as if to pick himself up, only to collapse back into bed and groan. "This is absolute torture, Son. Can you carry over to me? I feel like if I try to give up my ass is going to evict itself in protest." Toan sighed and walked over, sliding the warm plate on top of his father's chest who gave a half hearted smile of gratitude. "Thanks, Son. Now... can you feed me too?" In retaliation for daring to ask such a stupid question, Toan wrapped Jalk's head with his knuckles; to which, his father winced and chuckled. "Yeah, I knew you'd say no. Just thought I'd chance it anyway."

When Toan returned to the kitchen his sister had apparently finally gotten out of bed and was eating at the table, acting like nothing was out of the ordinary even after her shenanigans from last night. His plate was waiting for him too so he sat down and began to eat alongside her. As expected, it was freaking delicious. The bacon was thick and salty. The eggs were still just a little bit runny. And the juice was nice and pulpy.

"After this would you mind cleaning the dishes for me, sweetie~" asked Pinya, who had just sat down herself. Toan nearly grumbled with his mouth full. He absolutely hated doing the dishes, but keeping his desire in mind he agreed to do as he was asked. He spent the early morning then scraping the grease and egg crumbs off the pan and dishes, then washed his hands to get all the stains out of his fur. The latter took much longer than the former. Then after that his mother tasked him with going out and fetching wood for the furnace and stove, for which he would have to go all the way to the village tool shed to get a hatchet.

"See you later, big bro~!"

Melie was waving at him at him from the front porch as he left, holding a basket in the other for the berries she was going to go out and pick. Of course, she was going to have her friends to accompany her. The forest was far too dangerous to go alone, after all.

Despite the monotony of the task It wasn't often that he had time all to himself. Toan was actually looking forward to this brief respite from his family. He walked past the village market where a Wolflings crowded around stalls and traded wares with each other. It was relatively quiet and inactive that day, which was a real shame. Toan loved large crowds. They felt like tiny festivals and meant something exciting was going on. Moving on, he came up to the trunk of a large oak tree, the tallest in the entire village, then ran up the side of it to hop on a lower branch. He was quite the agile climber, making up to the upper branches in just ten seconds where he stopped and sat on his perch, gazing at the entire stretch of land below.

"Let's see. Where's the tool shed again?" he asked, eyes narrowing as he scanned the village. It always struck him just how large they were for a tribe. Their village was more like a small town with how far it stretched out, especially compared to other Wolfling tribes. They were quite a successful group until these slime attacks began which was probably why the adults considered it such a big deal. "Aha! There you are!" Toan smiled, catching sight of the large structure just a short ways off. If he hurried he could finish his chore by noon. But before he could climb down something slammed into him from the side and pinned him down on the branch.

A mouth pressed against opening up his lips so that their tongue could wrestle with his. Toan squirmed, his heart beating in his chest as he whimpered into the kiss. He recognized the tongue stud piercing he could feel as their muscle played around with his, as it could only belong to one boy -- someone who loved to stalk up behind Toan and surprise him, and always smelled like paint.

"E-Eriticus?! S-stop! I'm.. *huff huff* ..y-you're going to make me... m-me..."

Before they could find out what it was Toan was warning Eriticus about he pulled back, grinning slyly like he always did whenever he managed to pounce up on his friend. He always seemed to look like he was planning something nefarious even when he wasn't perched on the other boy's lap, leaving him weak and shivering as he was at that very moment, panting as if he had just sprinted a mile. Eriticus hummed as he reached into his pouch and pulled out a small round container with a wooden screw on top. He opened it and dipped his fingers inside then pulled it back out covered in red paint.

"Honestly Toan, you make it so easy. You'll never be like Dormir if it's this easy to sneak up on you." As he talked he placed his finger on Toan's stomach and began to draw on his fur. "Imagine if one of those slimes came up from behind and you didn't notice. They'd fill this cute belly of yours up until you couldn't move then take you to their layer where you'd never be seen again. That'd be horrible, wouldn't it?" The way he asked that last question made it seem like he didn't think it was all horrible, especially since he kept smiling and humming as he said it. Toan remained still as he continued to draw, pulling out more paints and using more fingers so the colors wouldn't blend together and make a murky brown.

"Wh-what are you doing up here, Erit?" asked Toan, blushing as he strained his neck trying to see what it was his friend was doing to which he got a finger flicking him in the forehead telling him to stay down.

"Just drawing. The view up here is amazing and I didn't want to waste the sunlight. Makes for some great inspiration, ya know? Plus, sometimes it's just great to come up here and take a snooze, you know?" Toan did know cause he liked to come up here and do that too. Sometimes he even liked to bring his food up in a container and just sit and eat it while staring out at the horizon.

"I also like coming up here and watching you eat when you're all distracted~"

Toan yelped, his face turning a deep scarlet as he tried to squirm out from underneath his friend's butt. "Hey hey hey! I'm almost done! Let me finish!" Eriticus hurried up with the final touches with a purple covered finger before Toan managed to push him off. As Toan scrambled to his feet he looked down at his stomach to finally see just what the heck Eriticus was doing. A bright rainbow streaking down his stomach assaulted his eyes. "Nothing fancy," said Eriticus as he lay on his side with his arm propping his head up while giving Toan a cheeky eyebrow wiggle. "Just thought it would look cute on you."

"I-I... " Toan was stuttering. He always did that whenever he felt that embarrassed, and for some reason Eriticus was always good at accomplishing that; both him AND Melie. "... th-th-thank you..." he finally managed to say while avoiding his friend's gaze. His cheeks were burning as he said it.

"Tch~"

Eriticus blepped out his stud pierced tongue before pushing himself up. While he did Toan glanced up and looked as the sun glinted off of his other piercings that decorated his body. The boy was the same age as him, but he came from a family with a tradition of body jewelry as a sign of a wright of passage. With each significant achievement or important age passed they added one piercing to their body. They got to decide what kind and where though, and Eriticus had five. Two studs, one for each nipple. A stud on his tongue. Then one on his eyebrow. Then finally a bar going through his left ear. He said the piercings made this body feel more sensitive, which for all Toan knew could be true, but the idea of getting a piercing scared him and he didn't really want to try.

While he was thinking about this, Eriticus drew in closer, once again leaning in for a kiss. Toan didn't back away. That familiar scent of a paint he had grown to enjoy was clouding his head and he found himself wanting to smell more of it. His eyes glazed over as their snouts touched, and once again he found himself being pushed down with his back on the branch with his friend's paws pressed against his chest. Down below, Eriticus's loincloth bulge slid up against his own.

The kiss broke apart again, but this time with several strands of saliva bridging their tongues together as they hovered out of their muzzles. "When I marry you I'm going to see this adorable face of yours each and every day looking just like that~" snickered Eriticus.

"I-I didn't agree to marrying you..." whimpered Toan, realizing how pathetically limp he sounded even as it was coming out of his mouth. Eriticus was already acting like marriage was an over-and-done conclusion.

He stared down at Toan's face like a predator that had just caught itself a prey and went down to place a quick kiss on his head, leaving a cooling wet spot behind before he started going downward. Then he kissed Toan's chin; his neck; his chest. He circled his tongue around each nipple, sucking on both of them till Toan felt like he was going to pop off before continuing his journey downward to his belly button. There he dipped his tongue inside, swirling it around and kissing it as if he was worshiping this small sensitive hole. Toan arched his back instinctively, gasping for air as his paw tried to push his friend's head away. All it seemed to succeed at doing was bring Erit's attention to the boy's loincloth.

A clawed finger very slowly and teasingly began to pull it down.

"S-stop! I c-can't right now!"

Toan scuttled back as fast as he could, his hand pulling back up his fabric while Eriticus lay their blinking, his finger hovering over the exact same spot in the air as it was when he was about to pull out his friend's dick. "Ah heck, why not?" He sounded disappointed as he slumped over, puffing out his cheeks like some spoiled child that just got denied something they wanted, but before he could get an answer Toan was already leaping from branch to branch in a race to get down.

One the way back to the ground the Wolfling was sweating darts. That was a really close one. He had almost gotten pulled into something that would have eaten up most of his morning. And if that had happened then he wouldn't be able to complete his mother's chore before noon. He'd worry about explaining that to Eriticus when he saw him later, but for right now he had to make a break for it.

Author Notes

Kind of hurried to put out Chapter 2, but I think it still came out a little bit better than Chapter 2. I really wanted to give a little more content to bait in a few more readers for my premiere story before the weekend was over. Also, for some reason I can't unbold this which is kind of annoying. Maybe I'll try again later in which case I'll probably have deleted this comment. Lastly, I'm wondering if I should change the race for my characters since the image I used as inspiration for them is most definitely feline now that I look at it. Is it too late to change? Does it really even matter? Probably not. Probably will just leave it as is. I did notice some errors I made in Chapter 1 though so I'll probably go back and correct them at some point soon.
