It was a quiet afternoon in the forest of goo, the only sound that could be heard was the trees blowing in the wind and the birds chirping back and fourth to each other, leaves covered the ground, crunching could be heard coming from them as Kile made his way through the forest in search of a rare chest that was said to be filled with everything you could ever want, Kile pulled out a treasure map he purchased from an old man who worked at shop located in the village, the map costed him 250 gold coins, but if the legend of the treasure was true them the cost of the map would be worth it, on the map was a cave with an X in the center, as soon as he looked up the cave was there right in front of him.

"There it is, the cave, now all I have to do is just walk into it and grab the treasure, hmmm...looks fairly easy, i don't know why no one else has tried to take the treasure, oh well more for me I guess"

While making his way to the cave entrance he noticed a wooden sign with the word "warning, keep out" written in a dark red paint, but knowing that deep inside this cave was unimaginable treasure made him completely ignore the sign and make his way into the cave, besides who could ignore a chest full of treasure...right?

"So on the map it says to take 59 steps forward and then you will arrive at the treasure, sounds fairly easy"

While making his way through the cave he noticed no signs of danger or anything else, the cave didn't seem like it was gonna collapse anytime soon and everything seemed quiet, after 50 steps a huge golden chest appeared in Kile's sight.

"There it is, the treasure, wow that was easier than I expected, don't understand why everyone is so afraid of this cave"

He shrugged his shoulders and started moving closer to the treasure, while walking there he noticed that there was a strange green goo on the ground, but he didn't care about that, he just continued making his way towards the chest, but while on his way their the goo started to get deeper and deeper which caused his movements to slow down, he was so close to the treasure, but then the goo began to rise up around his knees, then his waist and then his torso, it covered most of his body but stopped right at his neck, he struggled to break free but nothing he did helped, suddenly a gooey figure rose from the goo on the ground and stood right in front of him.

"W-who..what are you?" He questioned the gooey figure nervously, he had never seen anything like this

"I am Shershen, the gooey badger, and I protect this cave and it's treasure, you ignored the signs warning and now you will pay for your ignorance!" Shershen yelled at Kile with an angry tone

"W-wait just let me leave with the treasure and I will leave here and never ever come back, I promise"

The goo started to become even more angry "did you not hear what I said mortal, I protect this cave and the treasure, unless you have something worth my while then you will not be leaving here anytime soon, do you understand me?"

Kile gulped and stuttered out a response "I have gold a-and lots of it, just let me go and I can go get it for you"

"NO! I know you'll just leave and not return, trust me your not the first mortal to enter my cave, I know your tricks and I will never make the same mistake again!"

The goo around Kile tightened, making him grunt, he never knew that goo could be so strong, even though the goo creature was very angry Kile couldn't help but notice a slight cuteness to it, it's large round eyes, large green body and especially those large muscular arms, that gave Kile a great idea, he had nothing to give the goo creature so why not offer it compliments?

"Y-you know your pretty strong for a gooey badger, and your eyes are so nice, a-and those teeth are perfect" he said this as politely as he could to Shershen

Shershen blushed and looked into Kile's bright green eyes "you..really think so, is everything you just said the truth?"

Seeing the cute little goo badger so happy made Kile blush as well, he felt the grip it had on his body start to loosen "yes I do, your very cute, adorable, strong, brave, amazing and tall"

Those words was all it took to cheer up the goo badger, a bright cheery smile appeared on its face and it hugged Kile close, they both hugged for five minutes before it let go of him.

"Ok, I'll let you go and have the treasure if you promise stay here with me for a little while, it gets very lonely in here and everyone who enters this cave is usually afraid of me"

"I will, I'll stay with you and I will always be your best friend forever and ever"

The gooey badger decided to show Kile the home area of his cave, there was a bedroom which contain a bed made out of goo, the next room was the living room which had a goo couch, goo coffee table and a carpet, Shershen led Kile into the third room which was the kitchen, it had a table with two chairs and a stove.

"What do you think of my gooey cave house Kile?" He asked politely

"I like it, your bed and couch look very comfy, you have a nice kitchen and the carpet feels good under my feet" Kile responded politely

"I'm happy you like it, I'm so sorry I don't have a bed for you, I can make you one if you would like me to"

The thought of sleeping on a gooey slimy bed made him shiver, he had never slept on a bed made of anything other than soft fabric so sleeping on a bed made of goo might not be as enjoyable

"Um..n-no thanks, I'll just sleep on the carpet for now if it's ok with you" Kile began to lay down on the soft warm carpet

Shershen looked at Kile with a frown "you sure, cause I um..k-kind of wanted to snuggle with someone"

Not wanting to hurt the goo badgers feelings he decided to agree to snuggles, I mean who could say no to someone as cute and adorable as Shershen

"Sure, I would like that, and it might be more comfartable then sleeping on this carpet"

Shershen picked up the canine and carried him to his bed, as soon as the layed down in it Kile felt a shiver of surprise as soon as the bed touched his fur, but he noticed it wasn't that bad, it wasn't slimy like he thought it was gonna be, in fact it was actually quite warm and extremely comfartable, Shershen wrapped his arms around Kile and soon after they fell asleep.
