Sandra lay in Jack's scaled arms unconscience. The dragon began to cry while stroking the Vixen's cheek like he did with Clive. The Saviour sprung into action with a bottle of anti septic, a bottle of Mutation treatment, a micro chip gun & a tub of Partial regeneration chips. Jack looked at the micro chip gun & stared at the Saviour.
"Jack, can you turn her on her side for me please", Jack pulls Sandra towards him, protecting her,
"Come on Jack, I need to insert a partial regeneration chip in her spinal cord", the reptile snarled, refusing to do as the Saviour said. The Saviour sighs
"Jack. whether you like it or not, Sandra will begin to mutate in half an hour before dying slowly for two hours" Jack looks down on the vixen, gently stroking her cheek with one of his claws. Tears started to stream from the dragon's eyes, down his reptilian cheeks & dripping on Sandras shirt before looking at the Saviour
"Come on Jack, you can trust me" Jack sighs
"Let me put her on the bed, she'll be more comfortable" He stands & takes Sandra to the double bed, laying her down carefully. The Saviour then came through with his equipment & lay them carefully on the other side of the bed before loading a regeneration chip into the gun. Jack then stroked Sandra's bushy tail. The Saviour turned round with a needle full of a green liquid. Jack stared at the needle & the Saviour walked towards the bed & noticed Jack's stare & smiled
"Trust me Jack, I know what I'm doing" the Saviour said before removing the vixen's shirt. He finds two bite marks on Sandra's shoulder with a silver, bald patch surrounding the bite.
"Allow me to show you why I'm called the Saviour" The Timelord said to the nervous reptile. The Saviour got the needle & injected the Mutation treatment near the marks & the silver fades, just leaving a fleshy patch & bite marks. The Saviour then dampened the bite marks with antiseptic before gently turning the stricken vixen on her side with Jack over looking the proceedure. The Saviour got the micro chip gun & pressed it behind her neck before pulling the trigger. The regeneration chip glows once installed. The Saviour then clicks his fingers causing the bite marks & bald patch to glow before fading away. Sandra gulps before a green mist exits her mouth. Jack looked lost & the Saviour walked around the bed towards him. Jack grabbed onto the Timelord & buried his muzzle in the Alien's chest. Hearing the two hearts working with each other. He then looks up to the Saviour & licks his cheek as a sign of trust. The Saviour knows & looks down, giving a grin
"Thank you so much"The reptile says with a tear rolling down his cheek. The Saviour pulls out a tissue & dries the dragon's cheek.
"You aint half a blubber guts are you" the Saviour replies before the pair gave a light chuckle. Jack lets go of the Saviour & holds Sandra's soft hand checking on her pulse & breathing. They seemed normal & the Saviour left the room & felt his cheek. Suddenly the day when he got the de-materialisation circuit came up into his mind. The Timelords trusted him to fight in the war but he broke that trust causing the endangerment of his people. He then looked back to the couple & then thought that he could be trusted if he proved himself. He grinned & walked back in before sitting on the double bed with Jack & Sandra. Jack turned to the Saviour
"How long until she comes round?" he asked. The Saviour looked into his bright, glowing eyes & replied,
"Depends, could be a couple of hours knowing my luck with the people & furs of Earth. She hasn't rejected the Mutation treatment yet"
"How come a coloured mist came out of her mouth?"
"Just a way of telling people that the regeneration chip is working. Green for first use, yellow for second use & red for long time users." The reptile then pulled the duvet over Sandra & stroked her cheek once more before turning to the Saviour.
"What's the plan?"
"Well, I think it's best to use CITT to take me & the gold dust into the cryogenic section before I spyke the gases get out & leave you two alone for the rest of your lives" Jack looks betrayed.
"Do I come into the plan Saviour?"
"No, I dont think so" Jack's temper raises
"Why not?" the Dragon asks giving off a growl. The Saviour then gets off the bed & turns away before giving a reply
"Years ago, there was a war between my people & a race known as the daleks. The Timewar. I was exiled to earth before-hand due to some offences I commited including sleeping with the Chancelor's daughter & interfering with other peoples lives. I spent five years on Earth with an old Tardis hand-set without a working de-materialisation circuit. When the war started, the Timelords lifted my exile to fight in the war & sent me a new de-materialisation circuit. They needed me because they trusted me but I ran away, I didn't want to fight & that decision killed off most of my race. Some survived but they are scattered across the universe. You have decided to trust me because I saved your girlfriend. I could be trusted but I might get you killed in the process. You never know what will happen" Jack walked up behind the Saviour & turned him round.
"I want to help. You need someone to watch your back & protect you. I want that responsibility. I don't want to be scared all the time & I want to be tougher & learn not to live in grief or love someone I've only met for a matter of hours"
"I don't mind being loved no matter what species or sex they are. I do want you to protect me but, I just can't bare the thought of losing someone of whom I respect"
"I will be fine Saviour. Don't worry about a 20 year old dragon like me" The Saviour thinks for a moment
"I have made up my mind" The Saviour walks out of the bedroom while Jack sighs & sits on the bed. The Saviour then pops his head in through the door
"Are you coming with me or not?" he asks. Jack jumps up with excitement & runs through to the Saviour. The pair get into the lift & go down to the ground floor avoiding the police who are scouting the steel coated landing. The lift reaches the ground floor & the pair step outside the building & head towards CITT. The Saviour then asks CITT through telepathic link to teleport the gold-dust to them as soon as they ask for it. The Saviour opens the driver's door.
"You're seven & a half feet tall aren't you Jack?" The reptile soon replies
"From foot to horns yes"
"& from foot to the tip of your wings?"
"Around nine feet I'd guess" The Saviour then nods
"Ok, not sure you're going to fit unless you lie down slightly in the back" Jack goes over to the Saviour's side & steps into the Capri & squeezes his wings between the reclined seat & the door pillar. Once in, the reptile pulls his tail through the door & allows it to drape over the Saviour's seat. The Saviour gets in & fastens his seatbelt before starting the 1.6 litre engine & drives to the alley ways. The dragon's tail is still draped over the driver's seat & now the Saviour's shoulder near his neck. It's warm scales rub against the Timelords neck, relaxing his nerves & slowing his heartbeat. CITT notices,
"You seem a little relaxed Saviour. Your heart-rate has dropped & your grip on the steering wheel has loosened. Could it be that you love it when Jack's tail rubs against your skin?" The Saviour chuckles
"CITT! Don't be immature" the Saviour then smiles. "On to more pressing issues now, what shirt to wear. CITT, fetch my Iron Maiden fear of the dark shirt please" A white shirt faded into existance onto the passenger seat & the Saviour taken off his jacket & old shirt before putting on his fresh one while CITT drove to the alley ways. CITT's moniter started to buzz with activity as the Capri detected the warehouse & the Cybermen within.
In the warehouse, the Cyberleader was having a confrontation with Steve.
"Your plan was a failure, we have few operating units in the area. All the others are in cryogenic chambers. Your plan could of cost us this victory" The Cyberleader says
"I guess you are quite angry about this..."
"We have, no emotions"
"But I now know where the dragon lives"
"This is meaningless, you belong to us, you shall be like us" The Cyberleader said before turning to two Cybermen "Take him to be processed"
"Yes Leader" the Cybermen said before walking slowly to the terrified human
"No, I don't want to become like you, I wont! Leave me alone" Steve tried to run away but his attempt was useless as the Cyberleader gave an order
"Eradicate him" It ordered before the two Cybermen fired their weapons & Steve cried in pain as he fell to the cold, grated, metal floor.
"Take the betrayer to be incinerated"
"Yes Leader" said the two Cybermen before carrying the dead human out of the control room. A couple of seconds later, another Cyberman comes in
"Leader, our scanners have located the Timelord's machine not far from here"
"Send a patrol of Cybertroopers to destroy it at once"
"Understood Leader" The Cyberman replies before leaving the control room.
Meanwhile in the alley ways, CITT was parked with the Saviour & Jack behind poised for action. Jack was feeling worried & the Saviour looked into his fearful eyes
"Trust me Jack, we will succeed. If I saved your girlfriend, I can surely deal with a few tin men" The Saviour said before they heard the sound of marching coming from the distance. Soon, the shadows of the Cybertroopers appeared on the walls before the dark green Cybermen appeared before them. The Saviour & Jack nodded to each other before jumping out. Jack bellowed a mighty flame to confuse them before the Saviour aims his sonic hammer & presses the button, overloading the Cyber-guns' circuitry.
"Now CITT!" the Saviour shouted
"As you wish Saviour", CITT's front over-riders flipped up & two small guns extended. CITT fired laser beams from the guns, destroying all of the Cybertroopers.
"Ta CITT. Now Jack, lets go in there & give them hell"
"You've said it Saviour", the pair grinned as they charged forward into the warehouse's entrance. They walked along the corridor before the Saviour spots a door with 'Armoury' in big, bold letters. He opens the door to find a mass of guns & deactivated Cybermats. The Saviours eyes widen with excitement & pulls out two guns. Jack smiled & the Saviour thrown a gun to him before saying
"Armed with these & our pocket force fields, we should be unstoppable. C'mon, let's go" The Saviour ran down the corridor with the Cyber-gun's strap slung over his shoulder with Jack following behind doing the same. The pair reached the control room & waited outside poised for destruction. An unarmed Cyberman walks out of the control room but is instantly destroyed with the Saviour's gun. The pair run in to the control room firing the guns rapidly destroying many of the controls, the Cybermen fought back, firing their weapons but the force fields belonging to the pair absorb the firing & use it to increase power. In excitement, the dragon bellows another mighty flame, melting the grated floor beneath the Cybermen so they fell through into the depths of the cellar, landing into the generators getting fried by the sheer power. The Saviour turns to Jack & grins
"They should have a concrete floor shouldn't they" the Timelord joked. Jack grinned back & the pair continued to run through the corridor looking for the cyrogenic section. They found a door with the exact words printed on it & walked through to find several chambers with Cybermen inside. Jack was stunned to look up & find the chambers went up to the roof. The Saviour looked & found another door on the other side. The Saviour walked up to the door & peered in to find a container with a small hatch on top. The Timelord could only think of one word, Bingo. Jack was exploring the Chamber section gazing into the sleeping Cybermen's blank, cold faces before turning away to follow the Saviour into the room. He flicked his tongue & knew that he could smell death. He looked at the Saviour in fear & gaurded the door. At this time, the Saviour had got the gold dust from CITT & was gently opening the hatch, the gases were escaping from the container so the Saviour had to act quickly. He smelled the gases making him gag but he didn't give up, he cupped his hands & picked up the gold dust, gently pouring it into the container. When he was satisfied with the quantity of gold inside the chamber, he closed the hatch quickly & walked out of the room coughing. Jack was concerned,
"are you alright Saviour?" he asked to which the Saviour replied
"Fine Jack *cough* , it's just the cryogenic gases. Some leaked out while I was in there"
"Well, I don't know about you but I can smell death in this place. Let's get out of here" the Saviour nodded, still coughing & gagging. The Cybermen began to twitch as the gold dust suffocated them. Suddenly, the Saviour collapsed. Jack gasped & held the stricken Timelord in his arms. He felt his pulse, it was normal & the dragon stretched his wings. One beat of his mighty wings blasted them up in the air & out through the roof, the roof disintegrated thanks to the pocket force fields as they blasted through. Jack saw CITT & swooped down before laying the Saviour on it's bonnet gently.
"When should he come back round CITT?" the anxious dragon asked. CITT scanned the Timelord,
"It is unknown, he could be out for hours, days or even weeks"
"What! I'll take him to my appartment & put him into the single bed until he wakes"
"Good idea Jack, it's best if he wakes comfortably. I'll follow you"
"Ok CITT. Destroy the warehouse first will you?"
"Can do" Jack lifted the Saviour as CITT spun it's rear wheels & drove to the entrance of the warehouse. It fired it's lasers at full power, destroying the warehouse & the surviving Cybermen while Jack flew with the Saviour to his appartment.
Jack landed on the roof & carefully taken him down the hatch into the appartment. He carried him through into the bedroom when Sandra had just woken up. She gasped & ran up
"What happened Jack?" She cried
"Never mind, help me put him into the Single bed will you?"
"Sure thing Jack" Sandra said before pulling the duvet back on the single bed. Jack lay the Timelord onto the bed & pulled the duvet over him after removing his jacket. The couple sat on the double bed waiting for the Saviour.
"How come I didn't die after that thing lunged at me?" Sandra asked
"It was the Saviour, when you were on the brink of death, he cleaned up the bite & put a partial regeneration chip into the back of your neck. He certainly proved his name sake" Sandra's eyes were filling up after gasping again. She gently stroked the Saviour's hair
"He saved me & now he's at this state. Why must he be so kind!" she cried. Jack comforted her
"He's not dying if that's what your thinking. He's just unconscience, feel his pulse" Sandra then felt his double pulse & pulled her hand back
"He's got four beats! Why's that?"
"Maybe he has more than one heart. He is alien after all"
"Alien!"
"Yes, I wasn't sure at first but I'm glad I know now"
"He should make it more obvious like have green skin or tentacles instead of limbs or something"
"Well, he's always filled with surprises isn't he?" the dragon chuckles before giving the crying vixen a hug.
Two days later
The Saviour lies on the bed still unconscience. Jack & Sandra had been praying that he'd wake up but nothing happened. Jack stands up off the double bed & takes a paper bag out of the Saviour's jacket pocket. Sandra looks at the bag
"What are those?" She asks
"Jelly babies, here have one" the reptile hands the paper bag to the curious vixen who takes one & sniffs it,
"It smells alright" Sandra then puts the confection in her mouth & chews. Her face lights up "for an Alien, he has a great taste in sweets" she laughs before turning to the Saviour & kissing him on the cheek. The Saviour's eyes shot open startling the couple before sitting up & turning to the frightened couple & smiles.
"A female kiss is all that was needed to revive me from my sleep" Sandra gets up & hugs the comfy Timelord of whom returns the gesture.
"Thanks for helping me by the way, Jack told me what you've done"
"A thanks is not necessary Sandra. I can't let such a kind vixen suffer" the Saviour looks at Jack "Thanks Jack, if it hadn't been for you, I would of been killed by the malfunctioning Cybermen"
"You are very welcome Saviour" Sandra then releases the Saviour & sits beside Jack. "Saviour, me & Sandra have been thinking. We thought that we would like a holiday but one that we'll remember for the rest of our lives & we thought an adventure holiday with you would be perfect. So... erm... what I'm asking is, can we come travel with you". The Saviour looks at the couple & smiles again,
"Jack, it would be my honour to take such a lovely couple like you two on my travels" The Saviour then picks up his Jacket & gets off the bed with Jack & Sandra doing the same. The Timelord then puts his arms over his two companions' shoulders before finally saying
"Here's to happy travelling"
