After the second war of northern aggression, maps had to be redrawn. territories formerly under the tyrannical thumb of northern rule were now free, thanks to their southern neighbors, and President Landry gave them a choice. She douldnt keep the territories occupied forever, but neither could she force them into the Confederacy, as to do so would undermine the very freedoms she held so dear. Instead, they could either become independant nations, with the option to petition to join the Confederacy at any time, or they could be absorbed as counties in existing Confederate states.

Owing to the empoverished state their tyrannical yankee leaders had forced upon them, and the ravages of war, none of the former northern states could afford to go it alone. They had neither the funds nor the resources, and so they chose the latter, to become counties in Existing states.

Texas absorbed the western states, including Arizona, Nevada, and California, while Misourri absorbed half of Illinois, as well as Iowa, Kansas, and everything further north and west. Kentucky absorbed the other half of Illinois, Indiana, and ecerything north and east. Florida absorbed Hawaii, and Alaska became part of Misourri. There were only 13 states now, but the great freedoms granted by the Confederacy were such a godsend to all those formerly under the thumb of tyranny that reconstruction went very well.

Homosexuality, zoosexuality, trans-gender, and anything other than heterosexual vaginal intercourse for the purpose of procreation had been banned under the tyrannical yankee rule.

Any and all were legal in the Confederacy. President Landry's "Sexual Freedoms Act" had ensured that no one should ever be persecuted for their sexuality.

Yankees had used cameras in people's homes to spy on their private lives, and enforce their tyranny. Such espionage was banned in the Confederacy, as a violation of privacy.

The tyrants had restricted internet to a handful of ''educational'' propaganda sites, and monitored all online activity, but in the Confederacy everyone enjoyed unrestricted secure private internet access.

a person couldn't even legally own a knife under yankee tyranny, but in the Confederacy everyone had the right to keep and bear arms. Any arms. A person could be arrested if caught with a tiny pen knife under the tyrants' rule, but in the Confederacy, anyone who was mentally competent, with no violent criminal background could walk into a gun shop and buy an AK47.

Taxes were so high under the tyrants' rule, that all the money in the yankees' treasury only ammounted to roughly $100 Confederate dollars in the Confederate economy. In contrast, Confederate taxes were very moderate and sensible, and some things like food and water had no tax at all.

These are just some examples of how the Confederate victory made things so much better.

This was all before first contact, of course, but the great freedoms of the Confederacy hold true to this day, even following the Xian war.
