Remembering the years Part 2
Days and weeks passed, the husky and the wolf had been catching up, talking, chatting, it was though a flower had bloomed between the two and as the time passed it was the old connection grew stronger, something far deeper than either could really comprehend that either would feel nor confess.
It was the evening in which the whole group would be heading to the cinema to witness the preview of one of the newest rom-coms, two had already arrived at the entrance of the large building, Dizzy happily leaning on the banister, his tail wagging with his ears perked, searching, looking for one of the other members to arrive however his excitement could not be hidden from his friend, another yet smaller wolf, his friend Vikmik stood beside, looking at him with a slightly confused look in her eyes.
"Someone you're looking for?" She murred with a teasing tone, leaning an elbow on the banister while pretending to look as well. Dizzy paused, his tail still wagging but with one ear twitched at the sound of another speaking.
"What do you mean?" He smiled innocently. "I'm looking for Rob."
"Really?" She grinned.
".... Really?" Dizzy replied in a confused tone, looking at her as he twitched his ear again, peering at the teasing and playful grin. ".... Why?"
"Well you seem awfully happy today... And I don't mean sugar rush happy." Vikmik stretched her arms, draping one of his shoulders and poked his maw. "Come on then? Who is it?" She asked, looking at her friend with a toothy grin.
Dizzy blinked, his cheeks warming as his tail soon came to a sway as a cautious pace, gulping while he gave his friend a nervous smile. "I... Who... Me? I.. I'm merely excited to see the rest of my friends for the half term." He lied, it was too obvious to anyone who listened in on the conversation. Vikmik growled lightly, raising her eyebrow and gently tugged on the husky's ear.
"Oh no, you can't fool me, come on, spill the info mister!"
The husky yipped, his tail waved as he flailed his arms arms in attempt to try and get away, yipping more as he soon gave. "Okay, okay I'll tell you!" He barked, soon released and then waved his tail from side to side, rubbing his free ear with a whimper while Vikmik stood looking triumphant. "Well lately I've been thinking about... Someone... And well... really like..... Charlie! There you are!" The husky saw the white wolf jog towards them, looking a bit flustered as his bag bounced on his back as his white tail waved behind him.
"Viki! Dizzy!" The white wolf pounced on the two, yipping and murring happily to see his friends, hugging and cuddling them before stepping back from the two, rubbing the back of his neck with a blush and apologetic grin. "Hehe.. Sorry... Where's Rob?" He asked, waving his tail a bit more as his eyes looked up to the husky, a light murr came from his lips before he looked to the female wolf. "I love your necklace."
Viki thanked the white wolf, happily waving her tail before looking around to the black bear soon arriving, Rob smiled to them all, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry I was late guys, everyone ready?" He asked, nodding to the cinema. Viki, Dizzy and Charlie nodded, following the bear all already deep within a conversation over school.

The movie soon began, looking as though the two furs on the screen were having a few marital problems and were looking for a psychiatrist to help them. Rob was happy enough to drool over the female while Viki was far more interested in the main characters gay son, taking down mental notes to make a fanfiction over it.
Meanwhile Dizzy sat beside Charlie, happy to be sitting so close to his child hood friend. If only I could hold his paw... Dizzy blinked at the thought, feeling his cheeks warm as he looked down to the white paw resting next his black. No, I can't think that.. He's my friend! He's just a funny... Cute... Sweet widdle wuffie..._He shook his head, furrowing his brows as though pushing back his thoughts. Dizzy knew himself he was gay but Charlie... He didn't know... Now that he thought about it he never asked.. Nor had he seen the white wolf with any girls... Dizzy took a quick glance, looking over the wonderful wolf as he giggled at one of the mishaps on the screen. _How cute... He mused to himself, sighing beneath his breath. No... Usual most of the furs I like are gay or taken... Charlie would only just see me as the old goofy friend...
Suddenly the husky felt his heart stop, suddenly warmth on his paw while his eyes suddenly looked down to the warmth... It was Charlie! Charlie's holding my paw! The husky's tale wagged happily, faster and faster with excitement. No... No calm yourself... Perhaps he's merely over excited about the film? Yeah... That's it.... Dizzy thought to himself, trying to calm his own heartbeat while Charlie once again giggled. The husky glanced down to their paws now and then, trying to think, eager to know the answer but he didn't want to scare the wolf off, he would feel terrible if he asked a stupid question and was rejected or even worse! What if he destroyed their relationship?!

Once the film was done the group went their seperate ways, Vikmik went with Rob in order to find something to eat while Dizzy and Charlie thought they would walk home together. As the husky and the wolf walked Dizzy couldn't help but think... Wonder about the little paw holding session they had in the movie theatre.
"Charlie..." Dizzy began, both paws firmly in his pockets while he walked along the pavements, the sun slowly setting while they continued to walk. "Back in the cinema.."
"Ah I'm sorry Diz..." Charlie added quickly, his ears folding over his head as he looked away. "I... I was merely getting comfortable... And your paw was nice and warm..."
Dizzy felt his heart thump suddenly within his chest, stopping and looking Charlie in the eyes. "No its okay! I.. I mean.." He cleared his throat. Dammit Dizzy it is now or never! He thought, gulping while he looked the wolf in the eyes. "Do you like me?" He asked, his eyes meeting with the wolfs.
"Yeah..."
"I mean... Like like me?"
Charlie's white fur around his cheeks turn pink, looking the husky in the eyes while he gulped, his paws fiddling with his shirt while his tail swayed side to side as though trying to think of a proper answer. He mumbled something beneath his breath, the husky's ears twitched yet didn't hear.
"What was that wuffie?"
"I really like you Diz..." He spoke, closing his eyes and flinching as though waiting for Dizzy to explode, waiting for his terrible rejection yet was surprised at the result. The husky pulled the wolf into his arms, nuzzling the white fur as he murred loudly, tail wagging and heart thumping faster then a speeding train. "I like you to Wuffie." He murred.
The wolf murred, his cheeks warmed deeply yet wrapped his arms around the others neck, nuzzling back while wanting to feel the hug far more sweetly.
"You don't know how happy I am.." Dizzy whispered, licking the others cheek while he softly stroked his back, murring softly and lovingly. "I was worried I would scare you."
"That was what I was worried about!" Charlie perked up, looking at the husky with a sweet smile before licking the other back.
"Will you be my boyfriend?" Dizzy asked, smiling warmly down to the small, white wolf.
Charlie couldn't help but smile wider, his heart racing, thumping against his chest more and more."I would love to."
