A story idea given to me by someone very close to me, who couldnt write it, but gave me the ideas for it. Hope you guys enjoy it too!

"Shit, shit, shit, shit!" a voice said, pawsteps pelting down the hall. A wolf went around the corner, throwing himself down it as voices yelled behind him, commanding him to stop. Skidding to a stop, he cursed again, looking left and right, his tail swaying behind him as he ran into a dead end. Turning around, he barely had time to see a flash of scarlet before his vision would go black.

Long, slender ears would twitch, a pair of hazel eyes looking up as two guards dragged a limp body between them. "Got another one, huh?" the rabbit said sarcastically to the guards as they opened the door. "Shut up. You and your friend here will be persecuted in due time," the one to the right said, making the rabbit laugh. "Uh huh. Sure, lets call it that," the male said, leaning against the wall as they tossed the wolf into the cell, slamming the door shut behind them.

Looking down at the wolf, the rabbit chuckled lightly, long, sleek tail swaying lightly as he looked the wolf over. Taking off his mask, he whistled lightly. "Hot damn. So we got a Codecrafter in our midst... don't see these very often," he said lightly, wondering how it was this wolf got caught. Shrugging to himself, he went to the opposite side of the room, waiting for the figure to wake up.

Groaning to himself, the wolf would slowly wake up, sitting up, rubbing his head, a dull ache coming from inside of it. Looking around, he cursed himself, punching the wall, mad he got himself caught, fangs flashing in a deep scowl. "GOD DAMNIT!" he yelled punching the wall again, growling deeply with frustration, his ears going up when he heard laughter. "Calm down. No need to make a scene. Your caught. Deal with it," a voice said behind him, making him whirl around to see a lean rabbit there, loose clothing over his body. "What is it to you, asshole?" the wolf growled back, getting laughter from the rabbit in response. "Hey there, no need for that type of language!" he chuckled, standing up, revealing that he was well over a foot taller than the wolf, not including the ears.

"Look, I don't know what it was that you were trying to do, but you got caught doing it. Looks like we are gonna be here for a while, so how about a swapping of stories. Not like we have much to do... damn guards wont even give us playing cards," the rabbit said, leaning against the wall, arms crossed. With a eye roll, the wolf only looked away and out of the cell, paws grasping the cell bars tightly.

"Name is Ashton. I was born and raised in the far east, in sector 24-10, in a small town that what was once known as Wonrye. My parents were famers, and me and my 9 brothers and sisters helped with the farm as much as we could. It wasn't till my later years that I discovered my.... Abilities, so to speak. It happened when I was around 15 or so, when I first tapped into my powers. My families farm was running low on cash, days after a harvest. I was desperate at the time, so I did the one thing I knew that would get us some fast cash... steal. There was a government building, one where they collected our taxes, stored goods, etc, you know how it is. So, late at night, I snuck into the building, slipping in through the back. I had managed to get myself a decent bag of goods, nothing fancy. Just supplies my family could use, without needing to go and waste money to buy; water purifiers, shake and bake, canned food, stuff like that," the rabbit explained, recalling the day with fondness.

"When I finished tying up my bag, that was when the front door of the building opened, some guards apparently were tipped off that someone was inside of the building. I was panicking, knowing that if I didn't find a way past them, my family was as good as dead. I don't know what it was that triggered it, but something flowed through me as I huddled in a corner of the room, hidden behind some crates. The door to the room I was in opened up, it happened. I felt a tingling sensation rush through me, and when the guard flashed a flashlight in my direction, I knew I was screwed. But, he just left me be, saying that the room was empty. When I looked down at myself, I was invisible!" the rabbit said, saying he couldn't see himself, or the bag he was holding. "So, with this feeling rushing through me, I booked it back to my families farm. From there, I trained in figuring out my new powers, stealing what my family needed to get by for a few years," he sighed.

"Then, when my parents found out about my powers, they chased me away, saying I was a no good thief, who was only going to give them nothing but trouble. So, with that, I left my family behind with nothing more than the clothes on my back. With what training I managed to do, I quickly got into the idea of being a treasure hunter of sorts. I was going on a good streak, till I got a contract for this place. My contact said that I was going to be paid a handsome sack of gold upon completion, but yet, I got caught. So, I suppose that it was expected," Ashton said, reclining back.

The wolf would have listened to everything that his cellmate would say, rolling his eyes at first, thinking he was just a thief, but when he mentioned powers, he would look at him. "You can use magic?" the wolf asked, getting a nod from the rabbit, saying that his particular line only extended to helping him sneak himself around. "And what about you? What is your story?" Ashton asked to the wolf, getting a sigh from the male wolf.

"My name... is Gabriel. I was born and raised in sector 17-34, in Stonerocine. My life was fine, going to school, graduated the Program among the gifted portion of my class. But, one day, when I was coming home, the Enforcers were at my home. My father... he was being dragged out, on the charges of attempted murder of Councilmen Drake," he explained with a growl. "My father was framed for a crime he didn't commit, and even though we had evidence to support his innocence, he was still thrown into jail. My mother was never the same again, being more distant from then on. I didn't want to see our family torn apart, so I threw myself at my studies... and it came out. Something inside of my head clicked late at night, and I discovered my ability to... Codecrafting," the wolf said lightly.

"When I learned this ablity, I took off with it. I trained myself through small ways at first, small improvements around our house, better things, stuff like that. Then, I worked on bigger things. I made funds flow through into our bank accounts when we needed it; my mom barely got work, and I was too young to get a job at the time. After years of this, I grew bold, setting my goal to get my dad out of jail. And, well... I was to brash about it... I was caught, and well, here we are," Gabriel explained, sighing lightly.

As soon as Gabriel stopped talking, two guards and a robed figure would emerge in the two males view, making Gabriel stand up, a deep growl coming from the wolf. "Calm yourself, pup... there is no need to be hostile," a smooth, silky voice said from the robbed figure, the figure lowering its hood. With a wave of her paw, the cell door opened as the robbed figure walked in. "Sit... lets talk," the figure said. With a snap of her fingers, a simple table and chairs appeared around the table.

With little else, Gabriel and Ashton took there seats, the former asking what it was she wanted, fangs flashing. "Oh, calm down... I have a deal for the two of you," the figure said, her eyes glowing. Two screens would appear behind her as she explained why it was they weren't dead yet. "You see, you two offer us a great opportunity that we could use for a... mutual gain," she said, the screens switching to show footage. "You see, a organization dedicated to chaos stole a powerful artifact from us, one that has belonged in our order for hundreds of years, and we need you two to go and retrieve this item," the fox explained.

"Oh? And why would we be so inclined to do this?" Ashton said, balancing on two legs for his chair. "For one, your lives. Decline, and your head will be on the chopping block faster than you can blink," the female said, eye flashing dangerously. "And two, its clear that the two of you had your goals for tonight, and, you help us, we will help you in turn," the female said, snapping her fingers. A sack of gold would appear in front of Ashton, who's ears would perk up with interest. A screen would appear in front of Gabriel, one that had his fathers file on it. "You help us, and we will give you what you want. 300,000 gold to both of you, and you fathers freedom, Gabriel," the figure said, making the objects vanish. "Now, am I to assume we have a deal?" the figure said, a smile on her face.

Sharing a look with Ashton, Gabriel growled deeply. "Fine... you have our support...," he said, tail lashing, asking when it was they left. "Tomorrow, my guards will escort you around the area as you needed. I will support you with tools and items you need, but it is up to you two for where it is you go from there," she said, snapping her fingers, making the furniture vanish. As she moved to leave, she stopped in the doorway.

"Oh, welcome to A.L.P.H.A," she smiled.
