The week went by rather quickly, I spent most of it with Tai. He seemed to get rather sad when I wasn't with him, and it pained me to see him sad. We spent Thursday moving my stuff from my parent's house to his. Than I awoke on Sunday to find that Tai wasn't beside me. This was odd...
"Tai?" I called out, but there was no answer.
"Tai?!" I called out louder, getting to my feet quickly, glancing at the clock. It said that it was 9:59 PM. Had I slept all day? I grunted and started walking though the house, trying to find my little mate. But he was no where to be found. Than I heard music coming from out on the beach, along with the sound of a bunch of people laughing, talking, and having a good time. I thought for a seccond and than got dressed, if there was a party on the beach than chances are that Tai would be there. I walked out of the house and closed the door behind me before walking down the beach towards the music. As I got closer I recognised that the music was techno, the kind that you would play on a DJ booth. I picked up the pace and walked faster, the sun had just set and the moon was already high in the sky, casting an eerie glow upon the sand.
Than I saw it, a large set up and gathering of people. Most of them I knew, and a few I didn't. And up there on the DJ booth was my little uke; Tai. I smiled brightly as I watched him play the music, and everyone danced around me. I found myself slowly walking towards him, as if in a daze. I stopped in front of the makeshift stage and smiled up at him, watching. He was so cute right now, his eyes closed and the headphones on his ears. He was wearing a very skin tight midnight black shirt, and the same coloured skinny jeans. His purple headfur blazed brightly in the moonlight, and his white fur shone magnificantly, outlined by the jet black stripes.
He seemed lost in the music, and than one of his eyes opened while playing, and he caught my gaze. His face instantly lit up and he tilted his head to the side as if telling me to get up on the stage. I instantly complied and climbed up onto the stage. He smiled and turned his head to me as he played on the DJ booth. I reached down and touched my muzzle to his in a light and quick kiss, this aroused almost everyone in the crowd to call out "Whoohoo"s and "Whoop"s. Than he giggled and turned back to the booth as I watched over his shoulder. The night seemed to last forever, and only at around 1:00AM did everyone start heading home.
I smiled at Tai once everyone was gone and kissed him again, but longer this time. He did the same back to me and wraped his arms behind my neck as I wraped my arms around his waist. I found myself lost in his closeness, the way I always do, he always smelt of lavender, and it drove my senses crazy. We both closed our eyes at the same time slowly and a small moan escaped his throat. I smiled to myself in my mind, he was mine, and I was his. Nothing could ever make us feel diferently for eachother. We broke the kiss slowly and held eachother close as we gazed into eachother's eyes. His eyes were a magnificant crystal blue colour, that reflected the moonlight perfectly.
I smiled softly at him, "I will love you forever Tai, forever"
He purred softly, his cheeks redening in an obvious blush, "Oh John," He smiled softly, "I will love you until we cease to exist" Than he turned his head and looked out over the water, the moon reflecting off of it. I followed his gaze and smiled softly.
This would be a night to remember, the time that I crashed my love's party.
