#8 of Workplace Bonding

A young scientist works in a lab that is attempting to create suits that will augment the human body... but his curiosity leads him to find something amazing about the project he's working on. HIs workplace is a little less than thrilled with the discovery and attempts to bury the data, but can the researcher do so when terminating the project leads to the termination of a potential life?

If you like what I do here please consider supporting me on the patreon! We could definitely use a lot of help when it comes to funding things like book covers, comics, and game graphics and a little bit goes a long way! Not only do you support me and my projects but there are also plenty of rewards that you can sign up for as well!http://www.patreon.com/Serathin

Two weeks later a man named Carter walked into the north spire of the facility that he had just been hired at. The recent college graduate had been stoked to hear that they were even hiring since normally this particular facility was known for being notorious in having long stretches where they wouldn't hire anyone. There had also been rumors that they had recently undergone a shift in management that had dramatically improved the conditions of the workplace. At first Carter thought that it might have all been a ruse from his fellow classmates... at least until he saw that the application that he had put in was accepted.

When he walked inside the spire using his temporary pass from the security guard he was immediately greeted by the smiling face of another researcher. "Well hello there," he said as he shook Carter's hand. "My name is Alex and I'm the new employee relations director here, going to get you settled in. Do you already have a specified lab that you were supposed to go into or are you one of our new general hires?"

"General hire," Carter replied as he gave Alex his paperwork. "I was thinking about doing certain labs but I didn't know what kinds of projects you had available. All it said when I clicked on the specific ones were what the requirements were to get in and nothing about what they worked on."

"Well we've been doing a lot of shuffling around of projects ever since our breakthrough on symbiote technology," Alex explained as he led him further into the facility, which a lot of it appeared to be under construction. "As you can see a lot of this particular spire is now being modified in order to help with the grants and projects that have been given to us thanks to our new head of operations. We're extremely grateful that they took charge, things are so much better now around here... oh, would you like a drink while I show you around?"

Carter nodded and was led towards one of the spires of the break room, and as he did he noticed that everyone there did indeed look quite content with what they were doing. It appeared that the rumors were true, the once toxic area that new graduates were told to avoid had become a much better place in a very short amount of time. As Alex made him a beverage from the machine he watched several that were sitting there having conversations and it almost looked... surreal. It almost felt like they were putting on an act, but why they would do such a thing for a new hire like him he couldn't guess.

There wasn't too long to think about it before Carter's attention was once more brought back to Alex who handed him a mug full of coffee. As he sipped the liquid he was led to other sections of the lab where there was a lot of work going on, though that's not what caused him to stop and stare. Instead of the usual lab coats that most facilities require the ones here seemed to be in some sort of latex bodysuit that covered them from head to toe. It was yet another strange occurrence that he noted, especially the way they looked like some sort of robot the way their features were completely covered and smoothed over by the shiny material.

When Carter asked his tour guide about what he had just seen Alex merely chuckled and said that it was part of the symbiote research they were doing. Carter listened in awe on how they had revolutionized what they called smart rubber to create a symbiote suit that actually bonds with a person and can track vitals, keep the host comfortable in all climates, and even help boost mental and physical acuity. It sounded too good to be true, at least until he saw someone with one of the suits on that was yellow and black striped lift a steel girder over his head so that it could be welded in place. Carter couldn't believe the luck that he was in, it sounded like what they were doing was about to be a huge advancement that he could get on the ground floor on as he sipped his drink.

"I'm glad that you're excited to be a part of the team," Alex suddenly said as he turned with a grin, which caused Carter to pause in confusion and wonder if he had just said his thoughts out loud. "Would you like to meet the ones that made such a thing possible? They're always keen to meet the new hires."

Carter just nodded and was led towards an elevator, the researcher feeling slightly dizzy as he stepped into the car. It was like he had just stood up to fast and he shook his head a few times in order to clear the fuzzy feeling from his head. When he realized he was acting weird he turned to look at Alex and just saw him standing and staring straight ahead with his eyes forward and a smile on his face. Just as Carter got a hold of himself he heard the ding of the elevator and the doors opened to a single open floor.

It was clear they were at the top of the spire as Carter saw out of the floor to ceiling windows to the surrounding areas. The entire area was one big office that was a mix of elegance and technology; rich wooden bookshelves made up makeshift walls that separated a large table that was essentially a giant screen for a computer. There was also another area that was set up like a lounge complete with some sort of drinks cart with strange liquids in crystalline bottles. What dominated the space however was the desk that sat opposite the elevator with the same liquid crystal display as the large conference table and a couple of shiny black chairs that said on either side of it.

"So this is the new hire..." a surprisingly deep voice came from the chair behind the desk, which was facing away from the two walking in. "Go on and have a seat, we just want to have a little talk with you before you join our little family here."

When Carter did sit down he found the chair to be surprisingly soft and squishy as he set his half-full drink on the desk. "From what Alex has told me you're the one responsible for making everything happen downstairs," he stated, trying to make a good impression on his new boss. "I look forward to being part of the new research teams you're setting up here."

"Oh we know you are," the voice said matter-of-factly, so much so that it took Carter slightly by surprise as well as the fact that it kept referring to itself as though there were multiple people. "Tell us, what did you think of the application process?"

The question caught Carter slightly by surprise, his hands holding his stomach as it felt like it was flipping around inside of him. "I thought it was... pretty straight-forward," Carter replied, trying not to let the gurgles he could hear in his stomach be audible. "If I can be honest I thought that the personality profile exam was a little long. I mean, I've taken others that were only like five or six pages and the one for this company was like ten times that."

"We can assure you there's a reason for that," the voice replied as the chair slowly began to rotate back around. "You see, we're looking for those who will fit easily into the fold as well as the occasional professional that we think would be good for management of that fold. You are the former Carter, and soon you will see for yourself the secret to our success here."

When the chair turned around completely Carter gasped at what he saw; it was a huge beast of a man with a lupine head and large clawed digits, its pure white latex eyes staring straight at him as it flashed a smile of wicked sharp teeth. The creature screamed apex predator and it appeared like it could rip him to shreds in mere seconds... yet Carter felt no fear towards it. In fact he started to feel a strange sense of admiration as he turned his head back towards Alex and saw a shiny black symbiote-suited male standing there at attention. As he tried to stand up and make sense of the situation he found his entire body was stuck to the chair he was in like it was made of glue.

"What..." Carter tried to say as his vision grew fuzzy once more, feeling the strange substance of the chair creeping around his body. "What... are you..." as Carter tried to speak it felt like something was filling his mouth and when he leaned his head forward a small torrent of shiny black liquid spilled out and dripped down his chin. "What's... happening... to me..."

"Just part of the hiring process," Asmodeus stated, his grin widening as he saw the black tendrils spreading over Carter's eyes that indicated his brain was being converted. "We've been having some exciting new results with being able to spike a drink or integrate into furniture some of our patented symbiotic substance to ease the process of creating new drones. You are one of the first test subjects, you should be elated."

"Elated..." Carter repeated, any thoughts or feeling of panic being drained away by the slave symbiote coursing through his system. The shiny black goo had begun to spread over the human's body like wildfire, dissolving away clothing to reveal the converted flesh underneath. Asmodeus watched as the male began to shudder from the stimulation it was receiving as well, not only from the infestation in his brain but from the external stimuli coming from the thousands of tendrils coursing over his body.

While they watched Asmodeus instructed Alex to come over to pleasure him, the drone quickly doing so. The sheer obedience alone made the symbiote shudder in bliss as he felt those fingers gliding over his lengthening member. The entire time the symbiote feeding into the body of their newest recruit could be seen slowly assimilating the human's flesh, covering it like a second skin as the host continued to submit. It appeared that their experiment had been a resounding success as the transforming human continued to wiggle and squirm against the goo cocooning his body.

Unlike when he had taken over the spire Asmodeus savored the drone conversions, watching as the symbiote that they had created bond with a new body. Before they had been so rushed and often times just pinned a lab technician's body to the wall and plastered it there with the thick substance so it could be converted in their absence. While it got the job done when they looked at their work there was a certain... lack of fulfillment when it came to seeing the finished product. It was definitely a treat to see his toxic co-workers standing there perfectly at attention but they wished they could have made a better connection, even if they knew it was to take the spire for themselves before anyone could react.

Asmodeus was snapped out of their reverie by the moan of the male, the goo tentacles in Carter's body likely hitting the more potent areas of the brain now. This was the part that the symbiote creature enjoyed the most, feeling his own cock throb in the hands of the drone stroking it. They decided to really indulge themselves and gave the drone its mouth back, ordering it to take the entirety of their cock into its maw while they connected with the changing human. The drone was more than eager to oblige and through the transparent class they could see it take the mouth that formed on its otherwise featureless head and begin to deepthroat their shiny black member while they focused in on the very horny human in front of them.

"You enjoy becoming one with us, being a part of something bigger," Asmodeus instructed, the symbiote pushing into the neural pathways that lit up when he said such a thing to further condition the drone. "The thought of being a symbiote drone is pleasing to you, isn't it?"

"Yes..." Carter trailed off, his face partially covered with black goo as his body was pulled further back into the chair.

"And who do loyal drones report to?" Asmodeus asked.

"Master Asmodeus," Carter replied, his voice wavering from the pleasure he got from his submission. For a brief moment his maleness rose up from his body before the tendrils of goo wrapped around it and brought it back down, sealing it in a bulge just like the smooth expanse that the drone next to him had. A thick tentacle had also pushed into the backside of the changing human in order to provide additional stimulation and keep the conversion process moving steadily.

"What are you?" Asmodeus continued to ask.

"A... drone..." Carter stated, his eyes completely wide as the symbiote goo covered them just like the rest of his body.

"Good, repeat that in your mind as the gift of the symbiote bonds with you," Asmodeus instructed once more. "Feel the pleasure that comes from being one of ours, a drone symbiote in service to your master. While you are here you will not be you, your identity will be replaced with the connection to your fellow symbiotes as you work to make this spire better."

As Asmodeus watched the partially goo-covered lips continue to mouth out the commands given to him it reminded them of when they had come to this office for their final conquest. The head of the spire was an extremely arrogant prick that would only come down from his office to berate the rest of the staff. That... that was a pleasure that they were more than happy to take their time on. They still remembered the second that they came out of the elevator, slowly stomping forward while he scrambled to call for security that wasn't there.

Like Dr. Malcome's fate they wanted to be sure they knew what was happening to them, pouncing on them and oozing their symbiotic goo over their hands legs so they couldn't escape. Once they were stuck to the floor it was all a matter of letting the slave symbiote assimilate them, Asmodeus watching over him the entire time while it happened. It took hours for it to fully assert into the shouting man's system, the entire time the trapped human could watch as Asmodeus took his place and had the drones they created stroke and cater to him. The best part though, they thought before they turned their attention back to the far more responsive and accepting drone they were creating, was sensing the mental shifting as he joined the ranks of the other so-called leaders of the spire as the mental programming he had been fighting finally took root and his eyes turned pitch black...

At this point when Asmodeus looked back and asked Carter how he was feeling the human would have responded, but his lips had been completely sealed by the rubbery substance that had completely covered his body. For a few moments it looked like the humanoid figure had been sealed into the chair like some sort of vac-rack, but as the symbiote continued to assert itself inside its new host it started to separate. Soon the only thing connecting the two was the tentacle in their newest drone's rear but even that disconnected and slipped inside to join the rest of it. Asmodeus licked his muzzle at his newest acquisition, watching as the one known as Alex pulled off his spent cock and went over and slid his rubbery hand between the drone's legs and against the slight bulge of its groin.

"You have plenty of time to play later," Asmodeus said, feeling how horny the two were with a smirk. "There is work to be done here and this one has a lot of information to assimilate. If its up to speed by the end of the day perhaps I'll even release the nullification and let you two have some real fun with one another."

The two rubber symbiote drones wordlessly nodded and bowed before heading back towards the elevator. As they waited there Asmodeus looked on the display screen of his desk and saw that he was getting invited to go into a conference call, the symbiote waiting for a few moments so that he could be alone before answering the call. "Mister Asmodeus," the voice on the other side of the line said as three profiles came up that were in the conference call, all of them blacked out. "Do you have your status report for us?"

"Everything is going as scheduled," Asmodeus replied. "We've funneled the additional grant money that you've given us in order to completely repurpose the labs to what we need to continue our research."

"That is excellent to hear," a second voice said from the middle profile. "Just don't forget there's a reason that you've still got your tentacles in that part of the facilities, the only reason we're allowing you to remain in power is because of the product your promising and the tremendous uptick in efficiency you were able to bring to it. Should you decide to overstep your bounds however..."

"You've already made it quite clear what you plan to do to us," Asmodeus said, trying to avoid showing emotion since his face was appearing on the screen of his mysterious benefactors. "Our... involvement will remain limited to the spire and those contained within. So far no one outside of it seems to be the wiser of the coup that took place here and even those in other parts of the facility appear to be in the dark."

"They are in the dark because we put them in the dark," the first voice once again started to talk. "If you don't want to be dragged into the light I suggest we keep this... symbiotic relationship of ours as neat as possible. We'll protect you and yours, you give us what we want."

Asmodeus and the others agreed and after a few more minutes of updating them the symbiote waved the call off. Once they had assimilated Dr. Malcome they had continued to move through the spire and droned everyone they could put their hands on, including the one who was in charge of the entire area whose desk they now sat in front of. It had been rather easy, but once he had successfully bonded everyone to a symbiote they realized that they had not really thought through the logistics of the situation. As he had sat there thinking a text came in with a video file of his path of corruption through the eyes of the facility cameras, and that was when he got in contact with the three he had just finished up his phone call with.

With a new drone created and their meeting done Asmodeus sat back in their chair, tapping their clawed hands together. The lull in their day caused their psyche's to sperate once more as they looked through the one-way glass as the people below. "It is quite the shame that we had to stop here," Asmodeus lamented. "Think about what we could have done with this whole place, the entire facility filled with our symbiote spawn."

I think that would have stretched us out too thin,_Simon replied mentally. _You remember the end of that day, we had nearly pushed ourselves to the breaking point getting everyone here converted and then we would have had to deal with all of that while fending off suspicion from the outside world. I think at least for the time being we can be content with being the king of the spire, can't we?

"Mmmm, king of the spire," Asmodeus replied as his fanged grin returned. "I think I could get used to that... for now." They turned their attention towards the desk once more and brought up the security cam footage, watching their glistening rubbery drones continue to work on the tasks assigned to them. "We have so many drones."

All of them in service to us, the king of the symbiotes and the spire.

"I think I'm starting to rub off on you," Asmodeus replied with a chuckle before his entire body perked up. "Our mate wishes to speak with us... we have to go to the campus right now."

The symbiote got up and walked over to where he kept his clothing while his body shifted back into human form. At this point it had become second-nature for them to switch back and forth, the symbiote body shifting like liquid before slithering back into its human host. It was also quite pleasurable but at this moment they could only think about what Tony could possibly want to meet them for as they got dressed. After a quick check in the mirror to make sure they hadn't forgotten anything they mentally informed the symbiotes to shift back as well just in case before he left the spire and caught a taxi.

When they got to the campus they went to where they sensed their mate. The nice thing about being connected on an almost psychic level was they didn't need to use their phone or another means of communication, Asmodeus could sniff them out from a mile away if they hadn't been told where to meet. The directions given to them led them to a small food court that was underneath the student services building that was surprisingly empty save for a few college students mulling about. It was likely due to classes being in full swing, they thought to themselves, and were more concerned with the handsome male waving them down.

"I have to admit when we felt you calling for us we thought that you might be in trouble," Simon admitted, the two disguised humans looking at one another with pitch black eyes. "Is something wrong? You do not seem injured."

"We are fine," Tony replied with a chuckle, waving their hand dismissively. "But while you were busy taking control of the spire and helping to get everything ready for the research and potential mass production of symbiotes we thought that it would be wise of us to start a project of our own. At first we weren't sure of what to do but that's when we had a bit of an epiphany while we were keeping up appearances here in class."

Tony stood up and motioned for Simon to follow, leading him from the food court area towards another building that was marked for the study of biological and chemical sciences. While it wasn't the largest building on the campus it certainly was big as Tony used his student identification card to gain access. On the other side of the door was the familiar smells like those in the spire, though this one was filled with far more people talking as they made their way through the hallway. Tony led him towards the top floor area and into a place marked as a facility lounge, the two symbiote creatures stepping inside and looking around.

As Tony and Simon sat down on one of the couches the symbiote began to sense what his mate was doing. Asmodeus could start to sense the presence of other symbiote drones in the building, which surprised him slightly since he didn't think his mate was capable of making such things. While making another kind of symbiote like them was probably completely out of the question it appeared that his wily mate had found a means to at least create slave versions just like him. The ability was likely absorbed during one of the many times the two had engaged in intense sex to slate their lusts.

Both Asmodeus and his mate began to surface their symbiote forms once more as several clearly identifiable as the professors of the building came in, the last one locking the door behind him before they came and stood at attention in front of them. "As you can see we've found more than a few who had found themselves in our clutches," Tony stated as his voice took on a double quality to it, both of them stripping off their clothes while the teachers did the same. "The idea came to me when I saw one of them propositioning their student after class... from there everything else fell into place."

"A brilliant idea," Asmodeus replied, his lengthening tongue licking his lips as he looked them all over. "Have you had any problem with their loyalty?"

"Not a bit," Tony replied, snapping his clawed fingers so Asmodeus could watch them shed their human disguises and their slave symbiotes take control. "Much like what you found in your workplace these were already in the mindset of a drone and experienced meager pay and a lack of respect from their higher authorities. That made it easy for us to slide in and assert ourselves as their new master in exchange for the simple promise of pleasure or power."

A low growl escaped from Asmodeus' throat as he curled his finger over, watching as the featureless humanoids immediately stepped forward and began to rub their hands all over both of their master's bodies. With their touch they could easily tap into their minds and see that they had more than accepted their new roles in life. They had taught their mate well, and with the stimulation from the hands of their drones and the already erotic sight of transforming someone into one earlier Asmodeus had become intensely horny. It was clear that their mate was similar and with the drones continuing to rub their bodies they decided to do something about it.

They still had about half an hour before there would be a shifting of the guard and possible interlopers, which was more than enough time to have some fun with one another. Asmodeus decided that they would give their mate a little treat for a job well done and had them lay down on their back. At first they could tell that they thought they would be going at it missionary but Asmodeus surprised them by sliding up and straddling their waist, taking their throbbing hard cock and pushing it between their own cheeks. Both creatures let out a hiss of pleasure as Tony sank easily into the tailhole of the male on top of them, trying not to claw up the floor or furniture below.

"You two still need to think of a name for yourselves," Asmodeus said as once he had gotten the heavy shaft of symbiote flesh inside of him, feeling his walls clamp around it to milk even more pleasure out of the gooey creature below. "Simply being Tony or our mate is not enough, especially if you're planning to continue to expand here."

"That will be something for later," Tony hissed back with a fanged grin. "For now, my king, it's time to show us what that body of yours can truly do."

*********************************

Meanwhile in three different parts of the planet three people were watching the hidden camera footage of the two rutting symbiotes while their drones tried their best to rub those glistening muscles. "Are we sure that we can contain these creatures?" the first voice in the conference call said. "It appears to keep this within the spire is not working and our containment protocols will have to become exponentially more severe if they decide to take over more territories."

"The symbiotes are merely taking control of all aspects of their recruitment," the second voice replied. "Look at what wing they took over, it's clear that they're going to find the best and the brightest of those classes and send them to the spire so that they can become drones for the one that calls himself Asmodeus. That only strengthens our position once they are able to make symbiotes that we can control."

"I still don't like it," the first voice contented. "Even if they do give us the keys to the kingdom there's no guarantee, in fact at this point it seems quite likely, that they won't just take control of the symbiote drones or others that we create in order to take over the entire world."

"I appreciate the concerns and points that you two have brought forth to the council concerning this latest project," the third voice in the call finally chimed in. "But though it is a risk if we decide to terminate the project now then we lose everything that we could have gotten by sparking the sentiency of Asmodeus in the first place. Considering the resources expended to create such a thing for this purpose the council has ruled that the project will continue as planned, in fact some see this adaptive behavior as a good sign that we can do more with this than just create drones and control others."

"And does the council have a plan if this should spiral out of control?" the first voice said. "I will not tolerate waking up one day and-" the first voice stopped mid-sentence for a few seconds as the sound of a chair moving could be heard. "Wait, was is this... there's something moving under my chair... no... no! What did you do tr mree..."

The first voice in the call quickly degenerated to incomprehensible gargling before it turned to silence, then moaning before the call itself was muted. "There is no room for failure in this operation..." the third voice said. "For everyone else sitting there you now see the price of defying the council on this project, no one will stand in the way of ushering in the new evolution of humanity. Now unless anyone else wishes to join our new drone I suggest you get back to it, we have a lot of work to do before we can move forward on the future..."
