Stress Relief

Running the realm of Ardallen was no simple task for the great red dragon known only as Lord Kaiser to those he ruled over. Every single affair was run by him and him alone, he doesn't trust others to manage or handle issues, something Kaiser knows well with mere mortals. Thus, he must handle everything for everyone, from every appeal to every plea, every land claim dispute, every budget consideration, every staff rotation for his science teams, military, and economic divisions, the courts, infrastructure, guild disputes and so on so forth. The Red Dragon's exquisitely carved and engraved wooden desk would be flooded with papers relating to anything and everything, though as he was a 50ft tall Dragon whose powers were merely a myth to the populace, his sharp clawed hands did not tire from the amounts of ink written upon every paper. The office was like a small library, bookshelves lining the walls with some lanterns for light hanging from the walls along with various candles here and there.

Ardallen was merely sitting in a void, consisting of floating pieces of land "borrowed" from other worlds that the Dragon deemed worthy to add to his realm, repurposing said worlds to suit him and him only. Forests, cities, villages, you name it, it was there, with societies being medieval or Renaissance in nature but there was only one King. Kaiser had quite a hoard, both in treasures and in slaves as he likened them too, mortals only existed for his needs, be it food, labour, a source of income or more, a tiny selection of mortals accepted this fate while others lived in denial like the stubborn bugs they were. Kaiser knew all mortals inside out, every single one, and he knew none would be able to resist against his power, all of them would eventually break, something the ancient dragon took deep pleasure in.

Finishing up on the last piece of paper this week, the ebony horned drake stood up from his chair with a grunt of annoyance, padding his way out of his office for the day and he made his way through the dark stone halls of his fortress, anyone unlucky enough to be in his way were crushed beneath his feet. A massive impenetrable castle made from finely cut stone stood in the centre of a bustling Renaissance style city, though the castle gave off a dark looming shadow over the area, a clear reminder of the wrath that Lord Kaiser could inflict effortlessly, so the mortals wouldn't dare anger him or rebel out of fear of a very horrifying death.

He made his way into his personal quarters, his stone floor stained with the blood and remains of those he deemed to be unworthy of his time, gaining a sadistic pleasure out of the exploitation of bugs was something Kaiser was well known for in some parts of the universe, many lived in absolute fear that the giant God would have his way with their world, crushing them all until none were left or if people got lucky, all that would remain of their world would be nothing that paw shaped craters. Those were the weaker races of course, there were those who would build cults and religions around this giant red and powerful dragon, with prayers that would incite fear to the weak.

The worst part for all mortals about being killed by Kaiser is that it didn't stop there, those who die from anything caused by him be it being stomped into a fine paste, eaten by him, crushed by him, burning alive in his flames etc are sent to a secret part of Ardellen that no one except a select few knew of, where they are tortured until they lose all hope, tortured into thralls for their overlord who had full control over them. He could kill them as many times as he pleased, they would continue being reborn in an endless cycle of death, pain, misery and sadism, factors that the Titan relished in.

The number of those who perished beneath his feet or dissolved in his stomach ranged in the trillions, they in turn transformed into thralls, but only the worthy knew this, everything else was mere speculation. Kaiser grinned to himself as an idea popped into his head, something he hadn't done for some time now, to find an unworthy world and cleanse it with his seemingly biblical levels of power. There was no limit to how many thralls he could have.

Ardallen could handle time without their leader, not like they would know he was gone anyways. Whispering in an ancient tongue, the drake summoned a portal in front of him which he could use to simply browse whatever realm he wanted to have fun with, realms could range from Earth like worlds to water worlds to worlds shrouded in eternal darkness, there were many realms, let's put it that way.

"Well well, what do we have here? Another boring modern society of humans, fragile infrastructure and architecture, weak military technology, easily broken wills, this realm will be most suitable for my, break" Kaiser said to himself as he gave off a toothed grin, eyeing with disgust at the vermin he was viewing, he was going to enjoy what was to follow, and who knows, some new thralls may be sent to his personal quarters...

________________________

The sun lazily made its way down to the horizon, the rays giving off a rather beautiful red colour in the sky, what may have seemed beautiful to the humans across the world where the sun was setting, but what it signified was something they would not know until it was too late.

The humans in their cities, towns, villages and more would begin to depart from their workplaces in these hours, leaving in droves by public transportation, car or simply walking, what their destination was isn't important. In the many cities, tall skyscrapers dominated the skyline, the sun's rays casting long shadows over various parts of whatever section of the city they were in.

One city in particular, the biggest in its specific region, was slowly calming as the day came to an end. While many looked forward to relaxing with their free time, they'd have to endure outrageous traffic jams throughout the city, barely moving at all at times, not even the radios provided much in entertainment as for some reason there was only static.

Their boredom would suddenly be cured when nearly everyone in the city heard a bang in the sky, as if though the sky itself had suddenly cracked open like an egg, but when everyone's senses came to be, the sky had been in a sense cracked open. The source of the crack immediately made many fearful.

An ominous dark red oval had suddenly appeared in the sky and it seemed as if though the sky was being blotted out by the strange portal, as the portal had an essence that was covering the sky with a dark red and black mist, plunging the whole region into a rather hellish looking darkness as lightning shot across the mist.

It appeared as if though something was behind this anomaly, all the while the whole portal warped and waved in the sky, slowly, an unknown shape signified by a silhouette could be seen, it would be the last thing some would see before the whole portal would cave in from the pushing.

A gigantic paw exited through the portal, flowing through said portal as if though it didn't exist. Many recognised it to be a draconic paw in nature, four huge toes connected to a sole that was strangely shaped like a human one, but the giveaway was the dark red scales that were quickly plummeting into the city centre.

The claws were an ebon black colour, which were a suitable match to the dark red natural armour that covered whatever this gigantic being was. More of the Titan would follow and it would be too late for many in the centre of the city as the paw came crashing down on top of them, snuffing out everyone caught underneath. The paw effortlessly uprooted the concrete ground and caused a tremor throughout the city, knocking over numbers of the tall skyscrapers close to the leg that had now emerged, ending thousands of more lives.

Another paw would follow immediately after the heavy impact caused by the first paw, causing equal amounts of damage but soon, the full body of the creature would emerge from the portal which remained open in the sky, its darkness slowly spreading across the globe as the drake sealed the fate of the world.

Those who survived the paws crashing into the city centre came to their senses once the dust settled and saw what had fully exited the portal, and what they saw sent a bad feeling down their stomachs when they realised what they were looking at.

A Dragon.

A Dragon that merely looked down at them with a rather smug look, seeing how tiny the humans were compared to him. It was like when someone crushed a housefly invading their home, but now, they were the bugs. He growled deeply with every breath he took and folded his arms, showing off how built he was, built to destroy anything thrown his way.

Protruding from the top of the Dragon's head was a crown of ebon horns. His eyes were a fire Amber that burned their way into the souls of any who fell under its gaze, showing an inhuman intelligence that surpassed even the greatest of mortal minds. His muzzle was broad, a jaw strong enough to chew through even the toughest metals with a set of pearl white fangs sitting behind his scaly lips. A pattern of jet black stripes seemed to mark the length of the muzzle, all the while rows of dark stripes rolled down the massive body from head to tail tip. The rest of the Drake's impenetrable hide was the glistening crimson scales, a blood red colour, presumably to show insignificant a bug was when splattered on his body. A pair of demonic wings sprouted from the Dragon's back, casting a darker shadow over the area. The god-like being's body rippled with power, merely breathing was enough to showcase this as aforementioned, followed by a deep growl that resonated throughout the land.

"Greetings Mortals, you may not know who I am, but I know everything about you. Your world is one of the weakest I have ever seen, primitive technology, a degrading society and fragile minds, truly and utterly worthless" Kaiser's voice rumbled like thunder, slowly walking around the city as he let his massive paws drag through the ground. Streets and buildings were uprooted and cars were flattened as billions of tons of draconic muscles erased thousands of humans beneath them. A earthshaking growl emitted from the dragon, savouring the misery he was causing. After circling the city a few times, cutting off all means of escaping, Kaiser stopped and stood in the centre of the again, eyeing down with a smirk as millions of humans all around him looked up and screamed in terror.

They could only watch as the one who would be their doom raised his paw over them, his sole was a landscape in of itself with how huge it was, Kaiser himself was gigantic, with the tallest skyscraper in the city only coming up to his knees. Some started to run, climbing onto cars and pushing others out of the way in the hopes of escaping, while others accepted their fate and fell to their knees, some closing their eyes as they awaited for their inevitable fate, not caring if they were getting trampled on by others as screams roared throughout the city.

Although he had his earth cracking paw raised up in the air, debris falling from it, some were able to notice that the god before them was opening his threatening maw, revealing the sharp fangs to all in the vicinity, but thanks to the darkness that was slowly enveloping the world, a noticeable orange glow could be seen rising from the darkness of his throat.

Seeing this, many immediately began to seek shelter in buildings, dumpsters, cars, sewers, anything that could hide them or so they hoped as it was common sense for many to know what came next.

Despite all of their best efforts, it would not save them.

None had a chance to react as the stream of fire exited the Dragon's maw, with those not caught in its trajectory falling onto the ground from the sheer power that it had from merely coming out of Kaiser's throat. His paw crashed down into the city as he breathed out the flames, with thousands perishing from immediately turning into ash while cars and buildings alike were blasted and turned into charred rubble, the final screams from their souls was music to Kaiser's ears, a deep growl exiting his lungs as he took another step forward, down into the very flames that now engulfed half of the city and beyond.

Closing his maw and in less than ten seconds, Kaiser had already wiped out more than half of the city effortlessly, his fire breath was more powerful than a nuclear bomb, scratch that, nukes didn't even come close at all, just one breath of fire at the right size and an entire world can die within minutes.

Folding his muscled arms, he grinned to himself as he observed his art, the fire burning out beyond the city and into the countryside, a wall of fire miles tall that could not be stopped. Very little remained of the humans caught in the flames, with some skeletons managing to make it through while others ceased to exist, cars and buildings either completely disappeared or were now charred husks, like incendiary bombs had been dropped during a war. All the while the screams continued.

"Oh yes, do keep screaming mortals, that is the one thing that you all have in common. It will do nothing to save you, so please, keep screaming, I'll happily snuff you out" Kaiser growled as he turned away from the smoking charred remains of the other half of the city, starting off in a casual stroll as he simply dragged his paws throughout the city, effectively snuffing out dozens in minutes as he simply walked around like it was any ordinary stroll, causing crackling earthquakes and uprooting the ground while he was at it.

Many would meet their ends by either popping like grapes beneath dragon feet or falling down into the fissures caused by his mere stroll, some simply accepted their fate knowing well there was no escaping their doom. Some tried to hide but yet again they would be flattened down into paste, nothing more than an unrecognizable and insignificant stain on the massive feet of the dragon.

Soon enough, all that would remain of the once prosperous and populated city was a ruin, one half was completely burnt down like it was bombed from the sky and the other half was dotted with wide and deep craters, with barely any buildings left standing. There were next to no survivors, though any who did miraculously wouldn't live for long due to the terraformed landscape.

Kaiser smirked at the sight before, but he wasn't done just yet. Out of his will, he felt himself expand in mass as he grew to 5000 meters tall from his previous 1000 meters, his feet having destroyed what remained of the city he had fun with.

"Rrrrrrrr" was what could be heard as the drake began to stroll once more, his feet would effortlessly demolish highways, forests and houses alike as the ground tore up beneath his weight, sending out powerful tremors causing the earth to crack open from the sheer force of his footfalls. The military would eventually arrive and squadrons of Jets unleashed their payloads against the drake to no avail, his scales practically unscathed.

Kaiser only growled as he swiped his tail, taking out a substantial number of Jets in the process as he marched across the state, leaving behind a trail of destruction as he made sure to target populated areas, the euphoria from his actions would start having an effect on his midsection, but he decided that the thralls would have the pleasure of scratching that itch for him.

Continuing to uproot the dirt beneath him from the force of his stomping, flattening thousands of lives along the way as he ignored the towns he simply strolled through like nothing, Kaiser set his eyes on the next city, this one was exceptionally bigger than the last one as he had undoubtedly ravaged a number of nations at this point. The size of this new city somewhat impressed him deep down since it would give him more than enough fun but he wasn't gonna stop here. He had left everything behind him in ruins, not even the dead had much to show.

A smirk forming on his face, Kaiser quietly chuffed to himself as he summoned a wall of fire all around the city, instantly burning dozens of structures and killing hundreds of thousands as they had no chance to react, the screams once again echoing throughout the city but this time they couldn't escape without being incinerated into ash.

The entire city was now trapped in a wall of fire and the dragon simply walked through the wall unaffected, his paw crashing down onto what used to be a shopping mall, flaming debris launching up into the air as his other paw came flying through, aiming it down on a block of houses, snuffing them all out immediately.

With all of the chaos getting to the Dragon's mind, he felt a slight sensation between his legs, he was not one for easily spilling his seed, but when it came to snuffing out mortals, it became a rather fun activity to either crush humans under the immense weight of his dragonhood or melting their bodies away in his acidic seed, but he was not interested in spilling seed today, his thralls would do better work than the bugs he was crushing.

Kaiser lowered himself down onto all fours and averted his gaze to the more densely populated areas of the city, a distinctive growl could be heard from deep within the dragon, mixed with a sadistic rage and a hunger for victims, none would know what was to follow until what was to come happened.

Baring his teeth, the dragon slammed his jaws down sideways and in the flash of a second, city blocks disappeared from the sheer speed and power of the dragon maw closing in on the buildings, cars and people alike, the dragon gulping down the mess which was doomed to be converted into energy for him, melted down into nothing in his stomach acid. This hunting method was used a few more times until Kaiser decided to do something a little more, personal.

Setting his eyes down on one human running away from his might, Kaiser simply laid his arm down in front of the human, the force of which knocked the human off of his feet as he turned around and looked up at his doom staring right at him. Kaiser used his other paw to start fondling with the human, using his claws to tear off the human's rags. Kaiser could smell it but he saw that this human was aroused, no doubt his perverted mind taking advantage of the situation given the nature of humans. It was the fate of many to die being toys to Kaiser over and over again.

A new one would be added to the numbers. Growling, Kaiser jabbed his sharp long claw into the human's chest, his claw so wide he severed the human's left arm from his body and shredded the center of his body, the human amazingly still alive but just on the verge of death, blood gushing out of his body from what had just been done to him, shock setting in as he could only watch his form get ripped open. Kaiser sliced his claw all the way through, essentially cutting the human in half and after standing back up, he aimed his paw down directly and crushed the human into nothing at the bottom of a paw shaped crater, a gruesome and painful death, one of many to come for that soul.

Barely feeling a series of explosions against his ankle, Kaiser huffed in annoyance as he looked down at a column of tanks firing everything they had at him, with soldiers firing bullets alongside them, all of this would do nothing against the scales and they soon realised this, some of the tanks began reversing and soldiers turned the other direction as an orange glow appeared in the Dragon's throat, another powerful stream of fire scorching the earth, instantly vaporizing what feeble resistance remained as the flames spread throughout the city, with not only the army getting their share of being turned into ash, but the rest of the city as well.

A scene from what some would believe to be hell, the city had been burnt down into a pulp, nothing was spared from the sheer heat and destructive power of Kaiser's fire, hotter than the surface of most if not all known stars in existence. The streets were littered with burnt out vehicles and bones, black soot staining what remained of the concrete and the structures of the many insignificant structures.

"Weak" was the only word muttered from the dragon as his mass began to expand once again, this time reaching a colossus height of 20,000 meters, stretching above the dark red and black essence of the portal he used to enter this realm and the world's curvature was visible to the titanic drake. For these humans, their invader was now the largest living organism in existence, an organism who was hell-bent on crushing them all into nothing.

Taking his first step, the foot burned into the atmosphere as it quickly descended from the heavens slammed down onto the surface which itself was burning up before the foot even landed. The moment of impact was phenomenal, the planet's crust cracked open around and underneath the sheer weight of the foot with everything underneath beyond flattened. Anything nearby would not survive from the heat, the shockwave of the impact, the crust cracking open and creating massive fissures that engulfed entire towns and cities nearby, a simple step cracked their planet open.

Kaiser noticed a series of flashes on his knees, seeing trails of white smoke approaching his lower legs. They were launching nuclear bombs in a last ditch effort to stop the rampaging dragon but all that it had done was simply give him a light massage, not that he opposed it, he was amused by how desperate the insects had become, risking nuclear winter in the hopes of stopping him. If only they accepted reality.

Another smirk formed on the dragon's maw as he took another step, with similar results as the planet cracked beneath his sheer power and millions to billions perished instantly. A distinct warmth could be felt against Kaiser's scaled feet, it was the lava seeping through the cracks of the world, pouring out onto the surface, adding more to the already inhospitable new environment this world now faced.

Not realising that he had walked laps around the planet, the once green and blue surface of this world had been replaced with lava rivers, chunks of crust jutting up into the air, little to no remains of the once prospering societies, a sky shrouded in darkness and a mere fraction of the numerous life that once lived on this world. Little to no humans would be able to survive their new environment, death would be a preferable option, for Kaiser anyways since they would be sent to Ardellen.

"You have served your purpose, one day I will return, if you believe that what I have done is pure evil, you really have no idea how much worse you could have it, so you mortals may consider yourselves lucky" Kaiser spoke with a notable smug tone to whatever life remained, they would all hear his voice anywhere in the world, the voice of their overlord who had reduced their world into a hellish landscape.

Returning to the initial stomping grounds, Kaiser shrunk down to a more suitable height as he entered through the portal, his form disappearing from the world completely. His actions would remain forever, every human who survives from now on will know who truly rules over them and it will haunt them forever. Their world will be one of many that was plunged into chaos, and will be one of many that will be left to rot away to time, never to be remembered again.

Entering back into the familiar surroundings of his personal quarters, Kaiser felt a tiny form squished up against his foot. After looking, it was the same human he ripped in half back in the city surrounded by a wall of flames. He was absent of any clothing and was smaller than any of Kaiser's toe claws, but the screams of pain remained as loud as ever.

"Did ya miss me bug? Continue screaming, your life is nothing more than my little toy, always has been, always will be" Kaiser growled as he placed his foot back down onto the ground, the human screaming as he was pressed into the ground yet again.

A feeling that would repeat itself for all eternity.
