It's been a minute since I've posted a chapter here. Since I'm getting back in the groove of this story, I think it's still a little rough, so cut me a little slack. I couldn't go back and change anything because I would get a headache out of frustration. Then I started reading a manga called Bakuman. It's about a couple kids who want to make a manga. In one chapter, they went over some rules on how to be a mangaka and I applied them to my writting. It made me think in a different kind of light that relaxes me a bit. Anyway, I think I did a better job toward the end. The next one will be better. As always, comments and votes are welcome and appreciated.

Morning hadn't come sooner for the young pokémon trainer. He's been sitting up in his bed all night, unable to go to sleep. The recent events have been plaguing his mind for the last few days and it wasn't getting easier to deal with. Eric got up from his bed with a heavy sigh and made his way to the bathroom to get ready for the day. His mom was coming to see him today. Once he told her what happened, she instructed him to stay where he was out the door faster than a snorlax to an all-you-can-eat buffet. Ember was also there when he told her the news and, unfortunately for him, Aipom too. There was no doubt in his mind that she was going to bring those two with her.

He had reported the incident to the police that very day. Turns out there have been similar reports of stolen pokémon all over Sinnoh, all committed by same group of people; Team Galactic. At first they were considered just a small group of weirdly dressed people that weren't considered a major threat, but their numbers grew rapidly and now they're causing all sorts of trouble for the police. Because of that, the best the police could do was to issue a warning to everyone and to report any suspicious behavior to them; a lot of good that did him.

"Dammit!" Eric swore as he came out the bathroom after a hot shower. He proceeded to get dressed in some navy blue jeans and a black shirt. After getting his shoes on, he makes his way downstairs to get something to eat in the cafeteria. Along the way, he passed by a few trainers who were walking with their pokémon, making him mentally scream at whatever god was out there forcing him to endure this. Things didn't get any better in the cafeteria either. There were plenty of trainers eating with their pokémon and having a good time. He sat at a table by himself and quietly ate his breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and a glass of milk. Eric had never felt so alone in his life as he did now. He felt that he was the only pokémon trainer in history to be walking around with a single badge and no pokémon to share it with.

Eric got up and moved from the cafeteria to the main lobby of the pokémon center to wait for his mom to show up. If he knew his mom, she'd probably drive all day and break a lot of traffic laws just to get here.

"What am I gonna do now?" Eric thought. "I really want to find eevee, but I don't know where to start. No one I've asked around here has seen any sort of truck drive through town in the last few days other than the ones that bring in the fossils. And it's not like I can really go anywhere witho-"

"Excuse me, you're Eric right?" Eric looks up to see Nurse Joy standing over him. It always amazed him how all the Nurse Joys look exactly the same no matter which town he goes to, not that he's been to that many towns in his life, but so far all of them look the same.

"Uh, yeah. Who wants to know?" Eric asked.

"You have a call from Jubilfe City . It's your mother." Eric got up and followed Nurse Joy to where the video phones were. He thanked the nurse and picked up the receiver. Instantly his mom appeared on screen.

"Mom, you're still in Jubilife City ? I thought that with your driving record, you'd be here already." Eric joked.

"Ha, ha Mr. Funny man. Just so you know, the car broke down on me and I won't be able to get over there." Akira replied. "Damn thing overheated just as I was leaving town."

"I'm not surprised. You still think it's okay to go 120mph in the middle of a city. Why did it take you so long to call?"

"I thought you could use some time to yourself after what happened. Anyway, I got something to give to you. Actually, I have three things to give you and I think you'll be happy with one of them. I'm sending them to Nurse Joy right now. Good luck!"

"Them?! Who are you-" Akira had hung up before he could finish. Eric sighed. "Ya know, I'm tired of not being able to-"

"Eric? These came for you." Nurse Joy interrupted.

"Finish my sentences!" Eric shouted in the air, startling Nurse Joy. "Oh, um, sorry about that. You said you had something for me?"

"Yes, right here." Nurse Joy handed Eric three pokéballs.

"Thank you, and sorry about scaring you."

"It's okay. Your mother warned me you'd be a little irritable. If you need anything I'll be at the desk." Joy said with her trademark smile before she left.

Eric looked at the three pokéballs in his hands. He instantly recognized one of them as Ember's ball and released her. In a flash, the beautiful ninetails materialized in front of him.

"Hey girl. How you've been?" Eric greeted happily as he petted her little tuff of head fur.

"Nine!" Ember said just as happy to see him. "Nine, nine!" Ember held up her paw. Eric glanced down and saw a note lightly tied to her foreleg.

"This for me?" Ember nodded. Eric untied the note from her leg and unfolded it. It was a letter from his mom.

"Eric, sorry to hear about what happened to you and Eevee. I know you two were very close. I thought a lot about this and I figured you wouldn't want to come home so soon with your friend out there. So I decided to give you a little help in finding him. I'm sure Ember will be a great help to you. As for the other two, I'm sure they'll come in handy sometime. Good luck and be sure to take care of them!" The note ends there. Eric glanced up at Ember then to the remaining pokéballs. He couldn't help but smile at his luck. Finally, after days of uncertainty and grief, he finally gets his chance to look for Eevee.

"Alright, let's see what else mom sent me." He enlarged one of the balls and released his next partner in his new quest to find Eevee. His cheerful face quickly turned to a frightened one once he saw who his next partner was. "Oh snap!" Eric quickly dashed out of the lobby and upstairs to get to his room. Once inside he quickly locked the door, ran into the bathroom and locked that door as well. He got as far away from the door as he could by crouching in the bathtub. "Why?! Why did she have to send her here?!" Eric mentally screamed. There was a loud crash outside the bathroom, meaning his other teammate had caught up to him. Eric silently prayed for her wrath to end as quickly as possible. He messed up twice with her already and knowing her, this was the straw that broke the camerupts back. A couple loud bangs were heard followed by his last line of defense exploding before his eyes. Eric shielded his face with his arms as large pieces of wood flew at him. Once he let his arms down, he could've sworn he saw the face of pure evil. Her yellow face was full of indescribable rage. Although she was only one-forth his body height, he knew better than to get on her bad side. "W-w-wait!! You don't have to do this!! We can go search for him right now! I tried my best to stop them!! Come on, I did the best I could! WHAAAA!!!!"

"Young man, you're lucky you're not few years older than you are now or I would have you arrested for the damage your pokémon did. I'm letting you off with a warning this time, but next time I'm turning you in." Officer Jenny scolded. She was another mystery he just couldn't understand.

"Yes ma'am. I apologize for my aipom's behavior. I won't let this happen again."

"You better not. By the way, how did you get that black eye and those scratches all over you body? Was it your aipom?"

"N-no! I got into it with some guy on the way to my room. Jenny gave him a skeptical look and before she finished writing out the ticket and handed it to him.

"Stay out of trouble."

"Yes ma'am." With that, Jenny left, leaving Eric with a pissed off aipom, an amused ninetails, and, surprisingly, an irritated nurse Joy. He looked at Ember and sighed.

"I think we better go." Thankfully, he didn't unpack much and his laundry had already been done yesterday, so all he had to do was pack what the dirty clothes from this morning and he was good to go. "You two wait here. I'll gotta go get my stuff. I don't think we'll be welcome here much longer if things keep going as they are." Ember nodded while aipom crossed her arms and huffed. With that, they watched as Eric walked off and up the stairs to get his things.

"Don't you think you went a little too far? You didn't have to tear up the center." Ember asked the little monkey as she stretched, arching her back before returning to sitting position with her tails waving about behind her.

"No! He deserved every hit I gave him! How could he let a couple of chumps take him away?!" Aipom exclaimed.

"I'm sure he tried his best to keep that from happening."

"My ass! He always finds a way to rub me the wrong way! I just can't stand it! This is the third time he's forced me to hurt him cuz he did something stupid!"

"You can't beat him up every time he messes up."

"I'll do it as many times as I need to!" Aipom walked away with a huff, leaving the beautiful fire fox alone.

"That girl needs to calm down." Ember thought. She looked around for something to do, then saw a luxray looking over at her, probably because of the scene aipom made. She got up and decided to have a little fun with the electric lion until Eric came back. At first glance, she thought he looked to be in good shape. His black fur was smooth, his thick mane was clean and knot free, and his legs have some nicely toned muscle in them. Not to mention he looked rather attractive.

"Hey there, handsome." Ember greeted the luxray as she sat in front of him.

"Hi. Um, is that aipom all right?" the luxray asked.

"Yes, she'll be fine. She's upset because her friend was taken away by a group of thieves."

"Really? Sorry to hear that."

"It's okay. I know we'll find him sooner or later. They've been friends for a long time now, so I understand that why she's upset."

"I think upset is an understatement. I've never seen another pokémon go on a rampage like that."

"She has her own ways of venting." Ember said with a giggle. "Once she cools her head, she'll realize she was in the wrong this time and probably apologize. So, do you have a name I can call you?" The luxray grinned slightly.

"Yeah. Although it's not the best name my trainer has given me, I've come to like it. It's Leo." Ember giggled. "If my name is so funny, let's hear yours." Leo said tauntingly.

"My name's Ember."

"Real original." he said with a big grin dragging out 'real'.

"Shut up!" Ember said with a laugh as she playfully smacked his head with one of her many tails. "I guess both our trainers are bad at coming up with names."

"It would seem so, but I think it suits a beauty like you" Leo commented with a wink.

"Oh, a charmer. You don't look so bad yourself." Ember replied with a look of lust in her eyes.

"Is there a chance we could get to know each other? Maybe get some time alone?" Leo asked with a soft, lusty growl. Ember smiled and stood up, never breaking eye contact with the electric lion. She then started to slowly circle around him.

"That offer is very tempting, but you see, my trainer will be coming back soon and I don't want to keep him waiting for me if we get too carried away with getting to know each other. How about you sweeten the deal to make it worth my while?" She said in a soft, seductive voice that would make even the most oblivious slowpoke fall in love with her voice.

"If time's a problem, we could just skip the formality and go straight to the fun part." he replied as he watched her circle around him, occasionally letting one or two of her tails graze his body.

"I like the idea of getting to the fun part, but where will we go to get some privacy?"

"We could always go around to the back of the center. I'm sure it's pretty secluded." Leo was slowly getting turned on by her touches and the idea of getting a little physical relief.

"Think we'll be able to get back before my trainer comes looking for me?"

"Don't worry, I'll be quick."

"Hopefully not so quick as to leave me behind." Ember said as she sat back down in front the aroused lion.

"Of course not. I'll be sure to give you plenty of attention." Leo replied with

a toothy grin.

"Well aren't you a gentleman. Maybe a little quickie won't be such a bad idea after all."

"Mom!" someone called out. Both Ember and Leo tore their gazes from each other to see a small vulpix running toward them. "Mom, Eric's ready to go! Come on!" the young fox exclaimed as he lightly tugged on one of her tails with his maw.

"Wait a sec, you're a mother?" The electric lion asked with a dumbfounded look on his face. Ember turned her attention back to Leo and laughed at him.

"Yes, I'm a mother. I was hoping to have a little more fun with you before I told you about him." Leo thought about everything that happened and realized that he was taken for a ride.

"So I was being toyed with for your amusement?"

"Don't take it personally. If it means anything, I do find you attractive."

"Well, uh... Thanks. That still doesn't change the fact that you were being a real tease."

"I know. It was nice talking to you. I gotta leave before this little one tears off one of my tails waiting for me. Let's go Ethon." She lightly yanked her tail out of the younger fox's maw and followed him to where Eric and Aipom were waiting for them.

"Mom, what's a tease?" the young fox asked.

"I'll tell you when you're older." Ember replied.

Once everyone was together, Eric led them outside in the nice, late morning sun. The town wasn't really all that active yet. Most people were either getting ready for work or on their way right now. There wasn't much this town was famous for other than it's coal and fossils, so most of the other jobs were in either fossil research or just your everyday job. As they walked through town with no real destination in mind, Eric was thinking of a way to start his search.

"I could try going back to where it all happened. That's what all the detectives do in those movies when they need to find clues." Eric thought. "But this isn't a movie. This is real. Besides, the police already told me they didn't find anything at the scene, so nothing there. I could go to the next town and ask around, but it's just a waste of time if all I can ask people if they've seen a truck drive by lately. Argh! Why does this have to be so hard?!" He suddenly felt something soft and wet on his hand. He looked down and saw Ember licking his hand. She had sensed Eric's distress and licked his hand a couple times to try and calm him. He stopped walking and took some deep breaths to calm his nerves. "In with the good, out with the bad." he repeated as he inhaled and exhaled for a few moments as he slowly calmed down.

After a while he felt a little better. "Thanks girl. I needed that." he said as he pat the head of the beautiful nine-tailed vixen. "You're smart right? Where would you go if you needed to find someone who's been kidnapped?" Ember looked around as she thought of an answer. Aipom and Ethon were also thinking of an answer, although the little fox wasn't really as much help as the other two. After few moments, the cream furred vixen came up with an idea and lightly tugged on Eric's shirt for him to follow her.

*****8*****

"So, did you get a few years older and decide to turn yourself in?" Officer Jenny joked from behind her desk. Ember had led Eric to the police station. Even though he told her that he had already went there earlier, she still urged him to go anyway. He assumed it was because she thought if he had really gotten the help he needed, than he wouldn't be as lost as he was now. Jenny seemed to be in a better mood than she did earlier, probably because she doesn't have to deal with anymore kids and their pokémon tearing up a place of healing.

"I don't think I've gotten any older in the last half hour. Anyway, what can you tell me about Team Galactic?" Eric asked.

"Nothing I haven't told you already. They're just a group of criminals with an unknown agenda, who are causing a lot of trouble." Jenny replied

"That can't be everything you know. Haven't you guys been investigating them for a while now?"

"Look kid, that's all I'm allowed to tell you. I know you're torn up about your eevee, but the rest is classified."

"What?! You can't be serious!" Eric shouted. "You mean you have information on them that could help me and you're not gonna tell me anything?!"

"I'm sorry, but those are my orders. I could get into big trouble if I were to tell you more."

"Screw your orders! I just lost my friend to a couple of thugs in weird outfits! I don't care about your stupid orders! Tell me more about them or I swear I'll turn this place inside out!"

By now, everyone within hearing distance of Eric's shouting had their attention turned to the exchange between Jenny and Eric. The tension in the room was getting thicker with each passing second.

"I don't take threats lightly kid." Jenny stood up with a real serious look on her face. She leaned over her desk and pulled Eric real close to her face by his collar. Ethon was ready to jump in and protect Eric, but Ember saw him building a small fire in his maw and popped him on the nose with a tail.

"Don't you dare. You'll cause more harm than good if you do that." she whispered sternly to him. He nodded and sat down, feeling a little disappointed he couldn't be of any use. Aipom simply watched and secretly hoped that she would be able to beat the blue haired woman for keeping information from them that could aid their search for her closest friend.

"Look, I have my orders and I'm not allowed to tell you about our suspicions of a possible hideout in Eterna City ." Jenny said barely over a whisper.

"What are ?!" Eric responded just as low as the officer.

"I'm not allowed to tell you about how we suspect a hideout in Eterna City and we also suspect that that's where they're keeping a lot of stolen pokémon. You didn't hear this me, but we have someone working undercover who might be able to help you. Go to Eterna City and talk to the police there. Tell them I sent you." Eric looked at her confusingly, but eventually caught on. To keep up appearances, he pushed the blue haired officer away from him.

"If you don't want to help, then you're one sorry excuse for an officer! Let's go guys." Eric pretended to storm off with the angriest face he could make with Aipom, Ember, and Ethon following close behind. Unfortunately for the men and women in blue, Ethon decided to hang back a little behind and spit a few little embers on random stacks of files before running to catch up with the others. Needless to say, everyone started to panic.

"Dammit! Someone get a fire extinguisher!" Jenny yelled as she patted out the small fire on her desk.

*****8*****

Once outside, and a good distance away from the police station, Eric dropped the act and wore a huge smile on his face. "Finally, things are starting to look up! I have an idea on where I need to start looking and I have some companions to help me along the way." Eric happily thought. "The only problem is that it'll be a while before we get any where near Eterna City . Oh well. I'm sure if we hurry we'll get there soon enough."

"Nine?" Ember asked him. She, as well as everyone else was wondering why he was grinning so much. As far as they know, they hadn't gotten any sort of information from the police.

"Hm? Oh, it's nothing. I just figured that maybe we should go to Eterna City to start our search. I got a good feeling about that place." he said as he rubbed her head. Ember still looked at him slightly confused, but she let it slide and assumed he knew what he was doing. Aipom was skeptical of his newfound confidence, but also let it slide because going to another town would be one step closer to finding Eevee. Ethon wasn't paying any attention to anything at the moment. He was busy trying to swat at a butterfly that fluttered by. "But first, I gotta take a trip to the pokémart to get some supplies. I didn't expect to have this many pokémon to look after yet."

"Ai aipom!" the purple monkey exclaimed. Eric simply shook his head, not needing a translator to know that aipom said that she could take care of herself.

"Yeah whatever. Let's hurry and knock this out. I want to get going as soon as possible."

They got to the pokémart in about fifteen minutes. Before they went inside, Eric recalled Ember and Aipom back into their balls since they only allowed one pokémon to be out of their balls at a time. Aipom needed a little more convincing from Ember to go into her ball. The reason he wanted Ethon out was is that he could pick out what kind of pokechow he liked best and, though he didn't say it out loud, because he didn't want to risk Aipom throwing another fit and wrecking the place. Once inside, he walked Ethon to the shelves lined with different kinds of pokechow. Ethon was kind of excited that he gets to pick his own food for once. He spent a few seconds sniffing each bag as he passed them, making little faces at the ones he didn't like, which made Eric laugh a bit. After a few minutes, Ethon picked out a bag of beef flavored pokechow.

"A beef man are we?" Eric commented as he picked up the bag, to which Ethon yipped happily. The food wasn't expensive, but it costs a lot more than the chicken flavored one. Eric didn't mind spending a little bit more on food, but he figured with his earnings from the gym battle that it would be okay. He also got a couple potions and some pokéballs before finally heading to the register. The clerk that was working the register was a teenager with long blonde hair. He looked to be about 16 or 17 and looked like he's having the best day of his life.

"Find everything okay, little man?" he greeted.

"Uh, yeah." Eric responded a little thrown off by his super happy demeanor. He placed the items on the counter so the clerk could scan them. He paid for the items, put them in his backpack, and proceeded to exit the store with the small vulpix following close behind.

Meanwhile, in another part of the world, Mia had just woken up from her nap feeling a little refreshed. With a big yawn, she sat up and stretched her slightly aching muscles, cursing the cowardly treecko for leaving her to deal with the garchomp by herself. The sun was high into the sky and the wind was blowing gently across her smooth orange and cream fur. She looked around and noticed that she everyone was gone except her, Perry, and the twins Tammy and Kota . They were playing a game with each other and hadn't noticed that the sea weasel was awake. She stood up and stretched one last time before going over to the kids. Tammy was the first to notice that Mia was up.

"Hey, she's up!" she exclaimed as she ran to greet the sea weasel. Kota and Perry did the same once they saw who she was talking about.

"What happened to you? When you came back with the treecko, you were all beat up and fell asleep." Perry said with a bit of worry in his voice.

"It's nothing really. I just got in a tough fight." Mia replied. She felt that they didn't need to know the details of what happened because the thought of a monster like that lurking around would scare anyone straight. They also didn't need to know that she could've died in that fight had she not found an opportunity to immobilize the giant frightening land shark.

"Must've been a really tough fight for you to get beat up like that." Kota commented. "Did you win?"

"Of course I did." Mia said with a 'as if I'd ever lose' look on her face. "I wouldn't be standing here now if I didn't come out on top." That put a smile on their young faces. "So where did everyone go?" she asked.

"Uh... Kai said he was going somewhere quiet to do some training alone, Eevee took Nina with him to do some sort of scouting thing, and the treecko left, but he said he was coming back as soon as he takes something from the old man again." Perry said. Mia sighed when she heard that the treecko was going to be coming back.

"So, why did you guys stay here?"

"Eevee told us to stay with you in case you woke up before he and Nina gets back and because you would probably panic if you woke up by yourself." Tammy said with a giggle. Before Mia could reply, her stomach made a loud growl.

"I don't suppose any of you are hungry?" They laughed at her and shook their heads.

"Not anymore. We... kinda ate the rest that was in the bag. Sorry." Perry said apologetically.

"It's... alright. I'll just go to the river and get me a fish to eat." Though she still felt weak from her monstrous battle and wished they didn't eat everything, she knew there was no helping it. They've been her responsibility since she was captured by those humans, and if they're hungry, she needs to find some way to feed them. Besides, it's been a while since she's had any fish meat. "I'll be back after I finish eating. I shouldn't be too long, so stay here in case anyone comes back before me."

"Okay!" they all said together. And with that, she left the kids in search of food.

Despite her hunger, Mia took her time to get to the river. She wanted to enjoy the forest scenery before her. The tall trees and foliage around her made her feel more at home than she had been in a long time. Unfortunately, some of the pokémon she passed by with the half-frozen treecko were giggling and whispering little remarks about her as if she couldn't hear them. She just tuned them out the best she could and continued to make her way to the nearby river. It was a few minutes before she heard the sound of rushing water. She picked up her pace, driven by hunger now, and arrived the bank of a calm river. She scanned up and down the moving water for any signs of those delicious, meaty beings of the water. She continued scanning until she saw a flash of orange out the corner of her eye jump out of the water.

She quickly turned and couldn't believe her luck. It was the biggest magikarp she had ever seen. The orange fish looked nice and plump, like it was made to satisfy her hunger. Her mouth watered at the sight of it and quickly dove into the water after it. Even though it was literally one of the dumbest pokémon ever, they weren't dumb enough to stick around when endangered. Not only that, but they were surprisingly fast and agile, so Mia has to put her all into catching this meal. Luckily, the orange fish didn't see her, so she had the element of surprise on her side. She propelled herself through the water with her twin tails spinning madly behind her. Her meal was swimming downstream, so she didn't have to strain her weak body. Mia could practically taste the fish in her mouth right now. The orange fish remained oblivious to her presence, until something bigger and just as orange splashed in the water just behind it, alerting it to both her and whatever made that splash. After closer inspection, she saw that it was a fully grown floatzel that caused the disturbance. The startled magikarp jetted away from both sea weasels with the surprising speed Arceus blessed it with. Not a moment later, the floatzel took off after it.

"Oh no you don't." Mia thought. She sped up to catch up with her lunch and hungry rival.

It took a couple minutes, but Mia had caught up with the larger weasel, though still slightly behind. She only came up to its chest. "Still not enough." she thought. It was then that the floatzel back looked at her as if seeing her for the first time. She saw it looking at her and tried to push ahead, but to no avail, she only came up to its shoulder. The floatzel laughed at her and slowed down a bit so that it was face to face with her.

"You wanna race or somethin'?" he asked jokingly.

"No, I want my food! Why'd you scare it?!" Mia shouted.

"To make it taste better." he simply stated. "Food always tastes better after a good chase."

"Ever think that maybe I didn't want to chase my food?" The floatzel looked at her questionably.

"Why wouldn't you want to chase food? It's boring if you just sneak up and tear its head apart. Tell you what, we'll race to catch that fish and whoever gets it first gets to keep it." he said with a huge grin.

"But I saw it first! It's mine!"

"Ready set go!" And the floatzel took off after the magikarp.

"Wai-argh!" Mia grunted as she gave chase to the floatzel and her lunch.

The race was on between Mia and the floatzel. They were neck and neck as they chased the prized fish downstream through the twists and turns of the river. The floatzel had no problems and was already catching up to the nimble fish, but Mia was at her limit and was struggling to keep up. The floatzel would occasionally look back to see how far behind she was.

"You're never gonna win if you stay behind me all day!" he taunted. She knew he was right and thought of a way to even the odds. She jumped out of the water and used aquajet to launch herself over the larger water weasel. Floatzel saw through her plan though and leaped out of the water too. "Not bad, but it won't be that easy." He twisted his body so that he was facing Mia and fully inflated the large floatation ring around his body, virtually making a wall between himself and her. This surprised Mia. Before she could recover and move out the way, she collided and bounced off the floatzel like a spoink on a trampoline. She landed back in the water with a big splash, and when she resurfaced, floatzel was laughing at her. "You gotta try harder than that!" he said with a huge smile before chasing the magikarp again. Mia growled.

"I'll show you." she leaped out of the water again and formed a ball of highly condensed water in her paws. After that, she used ice beam on it just enough to freeze it over. Using one paw, she threw the ice ball with all her strength towards the floatzel.

The ball of ice landed in front of the floatzel and halted his movements due to his surprise. Unfortunately for him, that's what Mia wanted. As soon as the ice ball hit the water, the ice quickly gave way and the water pulse inside exploded, causing a wave of water to send the floatzel high in the air before coming to a stop on the grassy shore. The sudden attack didn't hurt him as much as it surprised him. He got up on all fours and shook some water off his fur.

"Damn, guess she's gettting serious." he said to himself as he fully stood up. "I wonder what else she's got?" A smirk showed on his face as he thought of how fun this race was going to be.
