A war weary link Finds his place in a changed hyrule he just has to makes some changes first.
The sun was only beginning to sink in the western sky of Hyrule as Link ascended the mountain towards the dwelling of one Hyrules many border lords. Link Had volunteered to go inspect damages along the border as an excuse to get out of the castle. The two largest buildings in the area were made of stone and had partially collapsed when the wooden frames had burned. The first of these buildings was a great estate dominating a Plateau overlooking not just the village but the area where the land bridge that had connected Hyrule and Goldana lay. The girl relaxed and sighed, hanging her head. She muttered something beneath her breath that Link did not hear. "Hail Link of Hyrule, Servant of my Queen. I am the Marquis Virgo Dei Lupi. My apologies for my attack but I feared you an intruder."

He destroyed all their supplies before succumbing to the poison. They burned the village but that was all they could do before they had to march back.
