We sat there under that tree watching the sunset for about 30 minutes. The sunset was almost as beautiful as Lilli. After the sun finally set we laid back and watched the moon for another 30 minutes or so. I could tell she was getting bored.. "Hey if your bored just tell me and we can go somewhere else, like the movies, or we can walk around the mall till it closes. Whatever you want to do, I'm up for it!" she took awhile to respond. "sure, lets go see a movie." "what one?" i asked "Uhhmmm...i wanna see that new love movie" "sure, whats it called again?" I asked "I think it was called..." she thought for a second, "Young love" I immediately knew it was gunna be cheesy...oh well i said i was up for anything..."Alright," i said as i was standing up, "to the Movie theater!" I helped her up and we were off. we passed the bench where we first met... "Hey, isn't that the bench we first met at?" i asked "Yeah it is" she replied quietly. "can we stop and take a trip down memory lane?" I asked, even though i knew she would deny my request. "Yeah, sure" she said. "WHAT!?" i shouted in my head "she must not wanna see that movie after all...ahh girls are confusing" we sat down and i tried to remember how we met to impress her. So i pondered that question for a brief moment and i remembered everything, so i shared the memory to impress my lady! "We met here exactly 2 years 8 weeks and 3 days ago, it was a warm summer day, i was waiting for my mom to pick me up from football practice. You showed up about 5 minutes after i sat down and asked May i sit here?' then i replied sure you were a lot shyer back then..." I noticed she was crying...so i stopped and asked "what's wrong? This place should be one of your happiest memories in life." she continued crying...so i tried to comfort her by hugging her, but she just burst into a river of tears and beat me to the hug "Oh god Tommy! I can't keep this a secret anymore! I'm an orphan! My parents died here one year ago! They got ran over by some drunk a--hole and died instantly..." "What!?" i yelled, "I'm so sorry! How did they-... oh man!"

I decided to cancel out movie date until she calmed down, i took her home and stayed with her until she stopped crying...I felt so bad...I knew i was supposed to do something, but i didn't know what...She was laying on her bed still crying, so i went in there and laid down beside her and petted her between her ears, she liked that very much, and calmed down a bit, then finally said something "What should i do Tommy?" she asked with great sorrow in her voice "I don't know Lilli," i said while still petting her between her ears, "But we'll figure something out, I swear it" She sniffled and said, "Oh thank you Tommy, uhh...can i.." I interrupted her "Yes you can stay with me till we figure this out." "Oh thank you Tommy! I love you!" she shouted. We walked out of her house and headed towards mine.

We got to the front door of my house, Lilli stopped crying when we passed the bus station two blocks from my house. She seemed as happy as she was at the park. We walked in the door, and nor my mom or dad were home. I Walked her to my room and said "Hey, ill be right back i gatta check something." "ok, ill be waiting" she replied. I walked into the kitchen to check and see if there was a note saying where they were. I looked on the table and, ding, there was a note, It read:

Dear Tommy,

Me and your father went on our second honeymoon, sorry, your dad talked me into it, i left $200 to hold you over till we get back. we will be back in a bout a week, maybe more. You know how your father is.

Thanks Tommy,

Your parents

"ugh..Dammit" I walked back to my room and Lilli was still sitting on my bed and i told her the news, "Hey, my parents parents are gone for about a week and we got 200 bucks to hold us over till they get back." "Oh, okay well at least we can be alone for awhile" she replied. "yeah and whats more, schools out for awhile, how convenient." i said "haha," she replied, "that is pretty convenient." "Good to see your not sad anymore, but we have to figure out what we are going to do..."
