Unrequited Lovers Ep2
By his question, Seraph flashed step to the side then disappeared. The scene circles around the young man as his eyes looked around his surroundings, still managing to maintain that grin on his face. He thought of this moment as mere horseplay while Seraph was thinking. 'I need to...defeat him just this once and see what he's after... Find out his identity.. A record of him... SOMETHING..somehow...' She started giving rapid slashes with her armored right arm while he anticipated them all and deflected them. Sparks flew from their weapons with their opposing forces clashing one another, they both had refused to give in.
Seraph continued this as she continued within her thoughts, 'Kirya..Help me.. --- Seraph, whatever could be troubling you? --- This demon...this man...is quite a lot like me... Therefore, he could transform back to his human state... Find someone new and suspicious in the city and talk to him at once... Can you remember that? --- I will try, once I've awoke from this ordeal.. --- Good.. Use your telepathy to send a sonar to headquarters to initiate the beast's Encasement Penetration. --- Seraph..! It'll hit you too! --- I will have a barrier of my own, don't worry. --- Alright...and good luck.'
She nodded as she kept her focus on the man, then she jumped back, landing on her feet while using her right hand against the ground, sliding back with ease. She then stood up and took her battling pose once again. The man chuckling and jerked his two blades to the sides, shaking the sweat and blood off, "My dear, surely I've told you before. You have no idea who you're dealing with, therefore you cannot think to believe you could slay me." The blades holstered on his back disappeared as a pair of twin bladed katanas appeared in his hands, two blades remaining on his back while forming out to be demonic, black chromatic wings. His skin faded into being more tan as his nails grew more talon-like. His feet became more hind-like like a dogs, nails just the same as his hands. His tattered clothes defined his well-toned body as the horns grew out showing a flaming "halo" between it. He chuckled with a distorted voice, still with his charming tone, "Here you see, what I like to call, my champion form. I have others but seeing you in that delicious entree' I have to make match." She clenched her fists tight as she glared at him with a calm expression on her face, breathing uneven; trying her best to stay sane.
Indeed, they both were now at the same combat level, but Seraph had a berserk side. So wild, that side with then tap into her stored rage and destroy everything within her path, possibly destroying the force feild thats containing the area around her. Seraph was never really aware of her powers but she tried to use them for good, instead of overexerting herself. Just like everyone else, she, too, has a limit. But seeing that she doesn't know her limit, she's afraid that she wouldn't be able to control herself. If she doesn't, whose to say her next victim will be?
The middle age man from before, going by the name of Atama Johoshori, was getting a faint single on his radar but it seem more like a message on his screen, he was studying it as he held his chin slowly talking, "Ser..raph...or..ders...case..ment...tra..tion..." His eyes grew wide then yelled out orders to the other scientist in the room, "Holy S.A. Tenbatsu orders Encasement Penetration!" He looked back at his screen as the scientists scurry around to make preparations, "Target...who is the target...? It's usually the one who orders-" The men posted at their positions asked what was the target, awaiting for their response. "Target is Tenbatsu. Pinpoint the coordinates of this sonar. Weaken the feild by one level and fire when the points are definite for three seconds! Once it is fired, boost the feild up three levels!" He then looked up towards the overhead screen that was descending from ceiling, having: stats of the such-said beast, a grid of the feilded area, radar of civilians in the area, and a sonar radar for anymore pick-ups. 'I hope you know what you're doing, Seraph... This is only a one shot ordeal...'
Both blood dripping, stabbed and scratched, they both seem perfectly fine. Facing each other off, she felt a faint shock and started flash stepping around him once again. He chuckled and stayed put with his eyes closed, "Well..this is getting quite repetitive.." He readied his blades, he managed to thrust one blade right above her left breast and once he got her he thrusted the other into her stomach. She coughed up blood as she gripped tight onto the blades with her armored hands, to prevent them from going in any deeper. She winced one eye as she looked up at him unsteadily, gritting her teeth tight, "Why...didn't you kill me...?" He pushed her to the ground and pushed his blades down into her deeper, chuckling softly, "I have a malicious side. You see...I rather bleed you dry than to kill you straight off." She yelled out in pain as her grip tightened onto the blades, attempting to break them.
"Coordinates are set, sir! Final?" He hesitated for a bit clenching his fingers onto the technology he was stationed at, "Wait...something is amidst..."
She breathing unevenly with a hint of wheezing as she looked up at him angrily with a trail of blood oozing out the side of her mouth. He licked his lips, his mouth watering from the sight of seeing her so damaged. He kicked one of her arms out of the way and thrusted his blade into her stomach more, making her cough up blood; blood of which landed near his mouth. He then licked the small spit of blood but looked down at him with a solemn look, "This blood isn't yours... I have smelled your sweet blood but this...oh-ho this is quite different. Clearly you aren't human... What IS your species, girl? Speak!" She looked up at him weakly but kicked his shin, making him fall to one knee. She brought him close with her legs and arms wrapped around him; with that she knew for a fact that the blades would go in deeper, coughing to herself as blood flowed from her body and her mouth. Shocked from her actions, he struggled to get free so she clamped her fangs into his neck, injecting a paralyzing-type of venom into him. She let go of her bite and talked softly near his ear, "I'm...just like you.."
Atama felt a sharp sense then commanded the fire. A pulse was felt throughout the whole building. A bright light was seen in the sky and was hurling towards where Seraph was. Shocked by her response, he couldnt move and words failed to escape his mouth. She looked at him calmly and chuckled softly, her eyes glowing toxic green, "Your name is Taishi... I'll remember you when I'll see you..." The light crashed down into the feild hitting Taishi. The light was blinding but was managed to be contained within the force feild. The scene is just outside the brightened dome with smoke being everywhere. The buildings around shook only just slight as civilians started to gather around the dome after the light had ceased. Low chattered started going around the crowd as they watched for more ongoings going about from within the dome.
