Predator Planet part 1
Zeng had awoken with a fierce headache, the last thing he remembered was hunting deer in the forest and there was a blinding light, he then noticed two familiar faces it was Kerric and Abby who he had not seen for some time. They were all confused as to where they were, Zeng didn't recognize any of the trees or the sound of the creatures but one thing was for sure they had to find out what area they were in and how they can get out.
It felt like they had been walking for hours until they came upon a mangled carcass. The rib cage was still intact meaning that whatever killed this didn't finish its meal and left the rest to rot after having its fill, Abby felt squemish around such scenes as she backed away due to the smell while Zeng and Kerric got a closer look.
"What do you think?"
"This was a pack kill...the scratches on the left over skin means sharp claws and teeth *dips hand into rotting meat* it's still warm, we should keep moving in case they come back for seconds."
"As long as we don't have to see this thing anymore...ugh!"
As they kept moving Zeng suddenly felt like they were being watched as he turned around to see some faint movement in the canopy but figured it for some creature fleeing from a predator and as they left the area a strange beast appeared out of nowhere wearing strange armor, keeping a close eye on the trio.
As the sun began to set the group finally arrived at an overlook of the are but what they found astounded them. They were staring at two whole planets they had never seen before followed by a flock of strange flying beasts and below a herd of other strange creatures passed by until something spooked them as they started to increase their pace before breaking into a stampede.
"We should hide...now!"
Knowing Zeng was an expert on these things they hid behind the brush to see a giant four legged beast with fangs of a sabertooth and eyes completely yellow that glowed under the shade of the trees and its body was a walking hulk of muscle as it pounced on its prey, crushing it underneath its weight before tearing a chunk of flesh out with its jaws, as it fed on it's prey three strange creatures appeared out of nowhere and attempted to kill the beast using what looked like metal claws and spears followed by a strange orb of blue fire but it barely injured the creature as they were killed and it ran off into the safety of the canopy.
"What the hell were those things?!?"
"I don't know but we should get-WHOA!!!"
Another one of the large beasts popped out of the trees snarling at Zeng before it had its eye taken out by his spear while Abby threw a smoke pellet to give him some cover.
"ZENG HIDE!!"
The moment Zeng ducked for cover Kerric pulled out two large knives and stabbed the beast on its side finally forcing it to retreat as it ran away smashing the trees in front of it leaving only Kerric and Abby satisfied.
"Yeah you better run!!"
"I don't think we're the reason he ran off...."
Abby pointed behind them as three more of the creatures they had seen earlier appeared before them like magic as Zeng brough out smolder while Abby prepared her knives but nothing happened, for a moment they just stood there as the creatures looked at them, examining them until one of them gestured to follow with a faint growl as they turned their backs and walked off.
"They want us to follow?"
"If they can keep away that creature i'm game."
"Ditto."
As they followed the three strange creatures they arrived at what looked like a campsite where several fresh kills were hung to dry above a campfire and in the camp were the other three that were killed earlier, clearly it was a funeral as Zeng saw one of the creatures placing his hand on one of the fallen and bowed its head in sorrow before one of them grabbed Kerric and stuck a needle in his head injecting some strange fluid as Zeng and Abby soon followed.
"AAHHH!! a little warning next time!"
"Stop your sniveling you walking throwrug! you're alive aren't you?"
"They can talk..."
"Of course we can talk! you just haven't been listening."
The creatures removed their helmets to reveal their faces which were beastlike, something you would only see in your nightmares.
"What are you?"
"We are hunters like you and that beast that you escaped from was the Gro'Ti and be glad it was just a juvenile the adults are more stubborn to drive away."
After the unpleasent introductions the were allowed to have a seat while the creatures buried their dead after taking what weapons they could salvage from their armor.
"I've never seen magic like yours."
"It's not magic it's technology...far ahead of your time."
"Why did you bring us to your world?"
They had not forgotten that it was the creatures who brought them to this planet in the first place but they did not figure out why as one of them sat next to his friend before placing the scraps of armor aside.
"Our clan has been hunting this specific pack of Gro'Ti for some time...they started to attack our village for no reason other than to feed, we killed most of the pack but...the leading male and female survived and escaped and they've gotten wise to our tactics."
"So you brought us here to help kill it."
Zeng stared at the creature with a focused gaze before finishing his sharpening on smolder, then he stared into the flames as he remembered the attack they saw earlier that day and Zeng remembered the weapons having an effect on certain areas on the Gro'Ti, then he made a sketch of it in the dirt to help better examine the creature.
"What are you doing?"
"When you attacked the beast your weapons only had effect on certain areas...mainly on the legs and the head but when they struck the side...it became injured.....how can we help?"
"Gro'Ti dwell in caves to stay cool...we hunt at dawn."
"You'll need these."
The second creature handed them the armor scraps, Zeng took the two claws while Abby and Kerric handled the knives and since they had no other options they had to help these beasts since they were possibly their only way home.

I came up with this after watching "Predator"
