RISE OF THE REPTILES
It had been nearly a week since Kai and his brother Tyzon were forced to leave their home, the two boys had been able to avoid the onslaught of weapons fire and crumbling buildings, but like many other cities before them the lizard army had invaded and slaughtered the mammals.
"Brother, when are going to find something to eat?" whined the young half breed.
"Very soon" said Kai as they cam to a lizard camp.
Even though their father was a lizard and their mother a cat. somehow they overcame the odds and produced health offspring, and while the older boy had hated what they were doing he knew that they weren't all like that.
"Are you sure this is a good idea?" asked Ty as they slipped by the sleeping guards, and kept from laughing when the older of the lizards had farted in his sleep, much to the annoyance of his brother.
Just when all hope of getting a meal entered their minds, they found a tent that was stocked with food, and began to fill their packs with sandwiches, fruits, meat, and chocolate as fast as they could.

Ty was filling his pack with as much as his little body was able to carry, "hurry up Kai" shouted Ty as he dashed out of the tent, only for a sentry to spot him and call in for backup as the kid backed away slowly until he bumped into something.

Just as the assembled lizard troopers were about to search for the escapee, the door was kicked open and in stomped a very pissed off lizard with a squirming kid under his arm.
"L-lieutenant Grizzle is that you" laughed a lizard soldier wearing a helmet with built in goggles.
After the lieutenant shot the other lizard with a death glare, not a single word was spoken as the slime covered trooper walked over over to the table and pulled out a chair before sitting down and placing the brat over his knees.

Several pairs of wide eyes looked at the general as he slowly moved his hands and unbuckled the thick brown leather belt around his waist. And whipped off before, folding it over in his large reptilian hand.
The lizard general's gaze panned from left to right as he thought about who to punish first, when he quickly crossed the distance between him and lieutenant Grizzle, and grabbed the stunned trooper before sitting down on the chair and pulled him over his lap.

Ty was heartbroken when he found out that his own brother had been a member of the mammal rebellion, and was planning to recruit him as well, but at the last minute chose not to.
